"My lady, I need you to promise me something." Said Tobin.
"What's that?" Angara asked.
"My sister, and her son. Please don't force them to leave." Said Tobin.
"I don't understand." Said Angara.
Tobin coughed a few times, and then looked Angara in the face again.
"Promise me, please." Tobin strained to get out.
"I promise." Said Angara.
Once Tobin heard those two words, he closed his eyes, and was gone. Angara shook his shoulders as hard as she could, but he wasn't waking up. She carefully placed his head on the ground, and got up. Angara went over to the entrance to the garden. That's when she seen four guards, they had their backs to her, so Angara called out to them. They turned to see Lady Angara, and her dress was covered in blood. They rushed over to her, and asked if she was hurt anywhere. She shook her head no, and then pointed inside the garden. All the guards seen what Angara was pointing at.
Narn turned to his fellow guardsmen, and told Serio to go get Asen. Serio darted off towards the barracks. Narn then turned to Maro, and told him to get Tia. When Angara heard that, she took off to her room. Narn then told one of the remaining guards with him to catch up with the lady, and make sure she was ok. The guard then took off after Lady Angara. By the time the guard was about to catch up, he turned the same corner as Angara, but she was gone. The guard then turned, and went to meet back up with Narn to in form him, but as he got to the entrance of the garden; Asen arrived with a few guards as well.
"Narn what is going on?" Asen asked.
"Guard Captain Tobin is dead." Said Narn.
Narn moved to one side, and Asen seen Tobin on the ground not moving. He asked about the guard next to him. Narn said that the only one that knew anything was Lady Angara. Asen then asked where Lady Angara was. Narn explained that when he sent a guard to get Tia, Lady Angara took off. He then seen the guard that he sent to follow her. Narn asked why he wasn't with Lady Angara. The guard explained that when he was about to catch up to Lady Angara, she turned the corner, and was gone. Before Asen even got out one word, he heard his name called.
"Asen, what is going on? I have work to do, and I don't have time to be pulled away from it." Said Tia.
"I didn't send the guardsmen; I recently got here myself. Narn just told me, Guard Captain Tobin is dead." Said Asen.
The look on Tia's face was utter shock, and disbelief. Asen then stepped to the side, and Tia seen two guardsmen picking up Tobin's body. Tia then asked how this could've happened. Asen told her what he was told.
"Lady Angara is the only one who knows what happened." Said Asen.
Tia could only imagine how scared she was, and had a feeling on where to find her. Tia then turned, and started to walk away. Asen then asked where she was going.
"To find out what happened from Lady Angara." Said Tia.
"May I come along?" Asen asked.
"Why not; you need to know, so you can find the ones who did this." Said Tia.
Meanwhile, the guard that stabbed Tobin with his sword had gotten to Mia's room. He knocked, and when the door opened; Mia seen that the guard was there, and opened the door wider. Once the guard was inside, she shut the door, and turned to the guard.
"Is it done. Is she dead?" Mia asked.
"No, she is not. Tobin was able to stop it from happening. He killed my brother, but I was able to kill him. Once Asen finds out what happened; he's going to come after us." Said the guard.
"Is there a chance we can still kill her?" Mia asked.
"No, now they are going to have her heavily guarded. The only ones that will be able to get to her are the maids, and the guards nearest to Asen." Said the guard.
"Then we have to leave, and leave tonight." Said Mia.
