"I don't know if we can; I mean that the palace is going to be on high alert." Said the guard.

"We'll manage. Get what you need, and I will do the same. We'll go stay with my sister and her husband till we can figure out a better plan." Said Mia.

The guard then left Mia's room, and went to get his things. He knew that once he got Lady Mia to her sisters, it still wasn't going to be safe. He knew that at some point he was going to have to go home to explain to his older siblings what happened to his youngest brother.

Asen and Tia soon reached Lady Angara's room, and Tia then knocked. Asen was puzzled, he asked Tia why Lady Angara had her room in the East wing, and not the North wing. Tia said that Lady Angara didn't want Lady Mia to spy on her, and that she liked the scenery in this wing better than the North wing. He understood, and let it go. He noticed that no one had told them to enter, but Tia was opening the door.

"Won't we get in trouble with the Lady if we go in without permission?" Asen asked.

"I don't care. I need to help her, and I want to know what happened to my husband." Said Tia.

They went in, and noticed that it was deathly quiet in the room, and dark. Tia then started to called out to the Lady, and still nothing. Asen who was still at the door, was looking around, and soon noticed a piece of cloth move behind a chair near the fireplace. He called to Tia, and when she looked at him, he pointed to the spot behind a chair. She came over, and looked behind the chair.

"Lady Angara, there you are. Are you ok?" Tia asked.

"No." said Angara sniffed.

Tia then held out her hand to Lady Angara, and Angara just looked at it for a moment. She started to reach out, but then stopped. She then looked Tia in the face, and wondered about this woman; after all wasn't she angry that Tobin was dead. Tia then took Angara's hand, and gave a small smile. Angara knew that smile, before her real parents died in the fire. Her mother had that same smile; a smile that hid the tears that she wanted to let go. Tia then pulled Angara to her feet, and led her around to the front of the chair. Asen and Tia seen the blood that covered the front of her dress.

"My Lady, are you hurt anywhere?" Asen asked.

"No, well I have a scratch from the bush I was hiding behind." Said Angara as she held out the palm of her hand.

"So, the blood on the front of your clothes is not yours." Said Tia.

"No, it belongs to Tobin." Said Angara.

Asen then came to kneel in front of Angara, and asked if she could tell him what happened in the garden. Angara looked at him for a moment. Then turned to get into the chair; once she was settled, she let out a sigh.

"I had some time before lunch. Garrett said the he needed some time to get the rest of the paperwork together, so I went to the garden before lunch. I never knew they came into the garden." Said Angara.

"Tobin, and the other guard?" Asen asked.

"No. Tobin must have come out to the garden for something, because he yelled to me to hide. When I turned to look, there were two guards, with their swords drawn." Said Angara.

"Do you remember what they looked like?" Asen asked.

"They kind of alike. That is all I remember about them, because at that moment I ran to hide behind the bush. There was a lot of swords clanging together, but then I heard one that let out a sound like being hit in the stomach. The guard fell to the ground dead. Tobin, was getting back up to his feet, and then I seen the tip of a sword poking out of the front of his chest." Said Angara.

"So, the other guard had stabbed him from behind." Said Asen.

Angara shook her head yes, and Tia put a hand on her knee.

"I am upset that my husband is dead, but I can't be mad in how he died. He died doing his duty, protecting the Noble of this land. My husband died a hero. I don't want you to be mad that Tobin isn't going to be here to help raise our son, but I know that our son will be proud of his father." Said Tia.

"I will excuse myself; I have an idea of who the other guard is, and I want to go find him." Said Asen.

Asen then went to the door, and left. Tia then stood, and said that she was going to get a hot bath ready for Lady Angara. Tia looked to Angara, and said that she'd be right back.
