Angara was sad, and wondered who would want her dead. Angara wondered who had she offended, all she was doing was trying to improve the lives of the kingdom. Angara was so lost in thought that she never heard Tia come back. Tia started to setup the tub, and the maids with her started to pour in the hat water. Once they were done, Tia shut the door, and then went to help Angara get out of the bloody clothes. When Angara removed the sleeves that she was wearing, Tia caught a glance at her arms.

"My Lady, where did you get those. They weren't from what happened just now, are they?" Tia asked.

"No, I got these from a fire just over two years ago. My parents died in a fire, and I had gone to try to wake them. As another cat took me out of the burning home, a burning piece of cloth landed on my arms." Said Angara.

"Then the couple that you were living with are not your parents." Said Tia confused.

"That's right, but they are also my parents since they took me, and my brother in as their cubs to raise." Said Angara.

Angara climbed into the tub, and took the wash cloth that Tia held out to her. As she was washing, Tia poked her head out of the door, and seen a maid walking by. Tia called the maid to her, and then walked out of the door for a moment. The maid seen the look on Tia's face, and asked what was wrong. Tia was shocked that she hadn't heard, but then handed the maid Angara's dress. The maid seen the blood, and paled; she looked at Tia with shocked eyes, and Tia said that Lady Angara was fine. Tia then told the maid to take the dress to the laundry, and get it soaking in cold water. The maid bowed, and went off to do what Tia wanted.

Tia went back inside, and picked up a bucket. She walked over to the tub, and poured it over Angara's head.

"What was that for?" Angara asked.

"Time to wash your hair." Said Tia.

Tia started to rub some soap into Angara's hair, and it was quiet for a while. Soon Angara had another bucket of water poured over her head, and that is when she asked the question on her mind.

"Tia; before Tobin died, he made me promise something. Who is his sister, and her son?" Angara asked.

"She started to live within the grounds before you were chosen, so you never met her. Her husband disappeared; she had no way to make money to support her son, or herself." Said Tia.

Tia continued to explain why Tobin made Angara promise. When Tia was finished, Angara understood why now. She felt sorry for the woman, and then turned to Tia.

"Tia; since Tobin's sister doesn't know me, she might believe that I would change my mind later. So, I will deem them your family. With that, I can't make them leave." Said Angara.

"That sounds good to me, my lady." Said Tia.

Tia then helped Angara rinse off, dried, and into a clean dress. Angara then went to find the sleeves that went with that dress, and then someone knocked on the door. Tia opened it, and it was Asen.

"Is Lady Angara still in here?" Asen asked.

"Yes, come in Asen." Said Angara.

Asen came in, and bowed. Angara then asked him if he needed to tell her something.

"My lady; I have questioned the guards, and found out who it was that tried to kill you. They are brothers; with the one dead, we are looking for the other one." Said Asen.

"Who would want to kill me. What have I done to deserve that?" Angara asked.

"I can think of one cat who wasn't happy with you." Said Tia.

"Who?" Angara asked.

"Lady Mia. You are changing everything she put in place, and she doesn't like it. I heard one day when she referred to this as still being her palace. Then you corrected her. I seen the look on her face after you left the room. She wasn't happy." Said Tia.

"But why would she want to hurt me?" Angara asked.

"I think the reason she chose someone so young was because, she thought she'd be able to enjoy this position more if she didn't have all the work that went with it. Once she figured out that she wasn't going to be able to control you; she needed to get rid of you." Said Tia.

"Makes sense. Those two guards were fiercely loyal to her. They'd do anything she asked them to; even if it means killing." Said Asen.
