Angara was shocked, but she wasn't going to let it bother her. Tia then looked to Angara, and said that she was needing to inform her family about Tobin. Angara said ok; then as Tia was leaving; Angara turned to Asen.

"Asen, since you were Tobin's Second-in-Command. I am going to promote you to Captain. Also, since you know the guards the best, I will leave choosing a Second-in-Command to you." Said Angara.

"Thank you, my lady." Said Asen.

Angara then followed Asen out of her room. He went to inform the other guards, and Angara went to get something for a snack; since supper wasn't too far off. When she got to the kitchen, she asked the cook for something small for a snack. The cook was about to object, but walked over to where the dried fruits were, and put some spiced apple slices into a bowl. Then put some something else into the bowl, and walked back over to Angara.

"Here you go, my lady. These are dried spiced apple slices; Tia made them last week, and this white sauce is something to dip the apples in." Said the cook.

"Thank you." Said Angara.

Angara then took the bowl, and walk out of the kitchen. The kitchen staff was still shocked at how their lady was so kind. The cook got a smile on her face, and then went back to work. Alana walked over to the cook, and asked a question.

"Normally you would've spoken up about that request, but why didn't you this time?" Alana asked.

"Because, our lady is very different than Lady Mia." Said the cook.

Tia was walking up to where the children were having school, and got the attention of the teacher. The teacher came over to her, and Tia told him that she needed to take her son home. The teacher was puzzled, and Tia said that she had to tell her son about the death of his father. The teacher was shocked, and said that he'd get Brion. The teacher walked back over to the class, and told Brion that his mother needed him. Then the teacher told him to take his books with him. Brion was confused, but did as he was told. Brion gathered his books, and then walked over to his mother.

"Mom, what's going on? Why are you so sad?" Brion asked.

"I'll explain everything once we get home." Said Tia.

They walked back to their home, and when they got there; Tia opened the door, and they went inside. Brion put his books on the table, and sat down.

"Can you tell me now, mom?" Brion asked.

"Sweetheart, I have some bad news. There was an attempt to kill the Noble earlier, and as your father was trying to protect her, he was killed." Said Tia.

Brion was shocked; then he tried to mumble out words. He was trying to keep himself from crying, but it didn't work. Brion then got out of his chair, and wrapped his arms around his mother's waist. There he just cried; Tia couldn't hold back the tears, and cried with him. After about two hours, Brion couldn't cry any more, and looked up at his mother.

"Is the Noble, ok?" Brion asked.

"Yes, she's fine." Said Tia.

"What about Auntie, and Tyrell?" Brion asked.

"Don't worry they will not have to leave." Said Tia.

After a while, Tia said that she had to tell Tyrell and his mother. Brion went to his room, and said that he was going to do his homework. Tia watched him walk away, and when he closed the door, she knew that he wanted to cry. A minute after he closed the door, she heard him start to cry. Tia stood, and walked up to his door; she said that she'd be back in time to make supper. She then left, and made her way to meet up with Ella.

As Tia came to Ella's home, she was nervous, but knocked anyway. When ten minutes went by without a word; Tia was worried that something happened to Ella; then Tia thought that she could be out in the town. When the suddenly the door opened; there was Ella leaning on her crutch, and out of breath.

"You could've just yelled for me to come in." said Tia.

"I know, but I was already on my feet. Come in Tia." Said Ella.
