Asen exited the kitchen, to the hall, and headed to Lady Angara's office. When he got there, he knocked, and heard a voice that said to come in. Asen opened the door, and seen Garrett handing another paper to Lady Angara. He explained what it said, and then she signed it.

"My Lady, you called for me." Said Asen.

"Just a moment; I am just about done." Said Angara.

"Of course, my lady." Said Asen.

Asen stood next to the door, waiting for Lady Angara to finish the work she was doing. Garrett then took the last of the documents from his lady. He said that after breakfast the next day, the treasury advisor wanted to have a word with her about the tax money from the residents of the North Kingdom. Asen heard Lady Angara ask if there was some kind of trouble with the treasury. Garrett said that he wasn't sure, he continued to say that the treasury advisor didn't go into much detail. Angara said alright, Garrett then bowed, and took his leave. Once the door closed, Angara turned her attention to Asen.

"Asen." Said Angara.

"My lady, what can I do for you?" Asen asked.

"I learned that you are well versed with the forest that surrounds the North lands." Said Angara.

"I am my Lady." Said Asen.

"I would like to learn about the forest." Said Angara.

Asen was shocked, he didn't know what to say to that.

"Everything alright, Asen?" Angara asked.

"Yes. May I know where this is coming from?" Asen asked.

"I want to know more about my kingdom." Said Angara.

"You don't need to go into the forest to know more about your kingdom." Said Asen.

"What are you saying?" Angara asked.

"You're the Noble of this kingdom." Said Asen as Angara cut him off.

"I know; I am the Noble, and it isn't something I need to do. Let me tell you something. I am nothing like the other Nobles that ruled in the North. I am getting rather tired of being told what I can and can't do because I am the Noble." Said Angara.

"My apologies; I didn't mean anything by it." Said Asen.

Angara then sat back down in her chair, and let out a breath. Angara apologized for losing her temper. Asen then asked when she wanted to do it. Angara said that she could get Garrett to clear her schedule starting the beginning of the next month, and continued to say that she would only be able to do two months in the forest. Asen said that he would get a few guards to come along, Angara said that would be fine. Asen then excused himself, and left the office; Angara said ok, and went back to work. Asen opened the office door, and stepped out, once he closed the door behind himself. Tia seen him just standing outside of the office door, looking stunned.

"Everything alright, Asen?" Tia asked.

"Yes, I was just told by Lady Angara that she wants to go out into the forest, to learn all about it." Said Asen.

"I know, I heard about it yesterday." Said Tia.

"You didn't try to talk her out of it." Said Asen.

"What you think that I didn't try. I did, but Lady Angara is different. She likes to experience things herself; she also likes to do some things herself." Said Tia.

"What does that have to do with this?" Asen asked.

"Many of the Nobles that ruled over the North; often enjoyed the wealth of the position. This Lady if different, she isn't really that interested in having wealth, till everyone can enjoy it." Said Tia.

"I guess. I better get going; I have a lot to do yet, and now I got to plan a guard detail for this two-month adventure she wants to take." Said Asen.

Tia said to not stress too much about it. She added to just take it in stride, and everything will fall into place. Asen nodded, and took his leave to go back to work. As Asen walked away, she turned to look at the office door, and wonder what kind of future this land was headed for. Things were changing, and Tobin told her that it was a good thing. Tia then walked up to the door, and knocked. The voice on the other side said to come in. Tia opened the door, and walked inside.

"My Lady, lunch is ready." Said Tia.

"Thank you, Tia. I need a break." Said Angara.
