Angara then got up from her chair, and went to eat. Garrett then started to gather the paperwork that Angara had finished. Angara went down the hall, and soon arrived at the doors to the dining room. As she reached the door, Asen rounded another. Angara seen him, and called to him.

"Asen." Said Angara.

"My Lady." Said Asen.

"When do you think everything will be ready for the trip into the forest?" Angara asked.

"I am about half way along. I was also going to make this into a learning experience for some of the guards." Said Asen.

Angara thought about it, and it sounded like a good idea.

"There is one other thing." Said Angara.

"My Lady." Said Asen.

"It is getting close to send the collectors to gather taxes, and I want to send a guard with each collector." Said Angara.

"Alright. Just let me know when, and how many you'll need." Said Asen.

Angara thanked him, and went to go eat.

Two days later, Rilo informed Garrett, who informed Angara that Rilo was ready. In turn, Angara sent a request to Asen for seven guards. The next day the guards she needed, and the tax collectors were in her office.

"Rilo told all of you what was going to happen, correct?" Angara asked.

They all said yes, and then Angara dismissed them. The guards and the tax collectors went to carry out their orders. Angara sat back in her chair, and looked at her desk. Garrett could tell something was on her mind.

"Something wrong, my lady?" Garrett asked.

"I was just thinking that I hope that this helps the people of this kingdom." Said Angara.

Angara then turned to look at Garrett.

"It will. Some villages, are poor, and a lot of what have to get through the winter on is what they sell. Not to mention what they have to keep for themselves. If they don't harvest enough for both, then they have a very hard winter." Said Garrett.

"I wonder if there is more that can be done." Said Angara.

"I am sure there is, but since I was raised in the palace grounds, I don't know. It would be best to ask those who work for you. A lot of the maids, and guards grew up in those villages. They would know best what could be done to enhance the lives of the cats that live in your kingdom." Said Garrett.

Angara thought about it some more, and then said that she needed to speak to Tia and Asen. Garrett offered to go get them, but Angara said; at that moment a knock at the door, and Tia walked in.

"Tia." Said Angara.

"My lady, I was just about to get your bed turned down, and lay out your pajamas. I just wanted to know if there was anything else you may need before I go home for the evening?" Tia asked.

"Actually, there is. I wanted to ask if you could do something for me tomorrow, when you gather the staff together when you go to assign duties." Said Angara.

"What did you want me to do?" Tia asked.

"Other than easing the tax issue. There's got to be other ways to help get everything on the right track. Could you ask them for ideas?" Angara asked.

"Of course." Said Tia.

"Thank you. I speak to Asen tomorrow about it." Said Angara.

"I will be passing the guards barracks; I can ask him to do the same." Said Tia.

"Then it would be helpful if you could, thank you." Said Angara.

"Not at all." Said Tia.

Tia then said good-night, and went to finish her tasks before going home. Garrett then said that since everything was finished for the day, he was going to go home as well. Angara said good-night to him as well, and then got up from her desk. She headed upstairs to go to her room. When she got there, she proceeded to undress, and put her pajamas on. When she was done, she climbed into bed.
