The six teens had gotten to know Freddie more as he told them stories. They quickly learned that he's really smart (if slightly geeky) and inquisitive, and that he made the webshow what it is, but he also was disregarded and not appreciated for all he did for it. He'd told them various stories about Carly, Sam and his mother's treatment towards him. He told them about the time his mother kept treating him like a baby and publicly humiliating him, which forced him to move out and how she begged him to come back and he said he would under the condition that she stop treating him like a baby and she said she would only to revert back to babying him, and the time Sam announced on the webshow to the entire world he'd never kissed anyone and how that was the only time she ever apologized, and even then she didn't get it until it was too late and she tried to act tough and threaten people for teasing her for never kissing anyone herself when she tried to make it right, then the two agreed to kiss each other only to get it over with. They agreed to never tell anyone until Sam was at the dentist and, while under the influence of laughing gas, accidentally let slip to Carly so it didn't matter anymore, and Carly got indignant like it was any of her business and had the audacity to demand they tell her everything no matter how personal it was, and Sam almost attacked him for something she did. Finally, he was telling them the story about the internet personality "Fred", and about how he politely said that he didn't find Fred as funny as they did, and that led to Fred getting offended and launching an attack campaign against him and him getting kicked out of the AV club, the math club, and his friends and family turning on him all for an opinion . "So we went over to where Fred lives, his real name is Lucas, and he was such a douche, it was unbelievable. He demanded an apology, and I apologized for hurting his feelings but I refused to say that he was funny like he wanted me to, and Sam beat me within an inch of my life with a tennis racket and broke it over me until I said he was funny. Turns out Lucas wasn't mad at all, he said it was all a publicity stunt, and neither Carly nor Sam got mad at him or apologized to me. In fact, the next thing Sam did was throw me out of the treehouse and jump on top of me. Not only that, Fred made an appearance on the next webshow and we all edited our voices to sound like chipmunks just like him." Freddie told them. "Wow, dude. That's seriously messed up." Jude said. "That Sam girl thinks she's so tough bullying people, she'd better run the other direction if I ever see her in person because I'll kick her ass!" Nikki said.

Freddie began to smile. Finally, he was surrounded by like minded people who actually cared about him and were in agreement that he didn't deserve any of the things that happened to him. Even Jonesy took pity on him, and Jonesy usually gave Wyatt a hard time for being geeky like Freddie was. But Freddie had been through the ringer. Upon meeting him and hearing stories about his life, the six teens not only felt sorry for what he'd been through, but almost felt protective of him and wanted to treat him the way friends should treat each other and in a way most people hadn't treated him before - with respect. "You mentioned that you have a webshow, is it at least funny?" Jen asked. "No, it's only funny to little kids. And everyone in Seattle apparently. I found it funny when I was twelve, but now I'm getting older and I don't find it as funny anymore. I just did it because I care about Carly. Sam, I pretty much just tolerated. The first kiss with her was the biggest mistake of my life. I'd rather be the laughing stock of the school, the way she treats me." Freddie said. "Can we see it?" Caitlyn asked. "Sure." Freddie pulled the iCarly website up. They watched one of their regular skits where Sam played a cowboy with a moustache and Carly played the idiot farm girl who thought the moustache was a squirrel. Not one laugh from anyone. "Boy, you weren't kidding. This isn't even REMOTELY funny!" Jen said. "Yeah, it's so unfunny, it's PAINFUL to watch!" Jonesy said. Then Freddie noticed a note from Carly and Sam from yesterday that read,

"So sorry there won't be a webshow today, Freddie bailed. He never showed up. He has dodged all of our calls and texts."

Freddie was angry. "Gee, I wonder why. Maybe it's because I got fed up with both of your shit and now I have real friends who treat me way better than you two ever did." he said aloud. "That's right, you do." Nikki said. "Yeah, after all they did to you, let them crash and burn. It's called Karma." Wyatt said.
