The meeting had continued between the six teens and the iCarly gang. "Freddie doesn't have to tell you everything that goes on in his life, regardless of whether or not you tell him everything that goes on in yours. You need to respect that and mind your own business." Jonesy said to Carly. "And he's allowed to have his own opinion even if you don't agree. It's one thing if an obnoxious internet personality sends a fake hate campaign for a publicity stunt against you and a bunch of weaselly high schoolers turn against him. You guys are supposed to be his friends, I can't believe you care more about your online image than your own friend." Jen said to Carly and Sam, but then turned to Sam. "And it makes me sick that you'd beat him with a tennis racket for saying Fred isn't funny!" Jen said. Carly, Sam and Mrs. Benson felt awful. A lot of these ground rules were pretty specific hits on them for things they've done to Freddie, but they knew they deserved it and they knew that they had to do better and not repeat any of it. "It's up to him whether or not he wants to stay here or go home with you, but if he goes home with you you've better follow all of the ground rules we've set because we'll check in with him and we will come down to Seattle if things don't change. Have we made ourselves clear?" Nikki asked. All four of them nodded. "Good. Now go." Nikki told them. And with that, they left.

Freddie had finished his meal. It was definitely satisfying. Though he had time to think and he hadn't made up his mind. On one hand, meeting Jen, Jude, Jonesy, Nikki, Wyatt and Caitlyn and becoming friends with them was one of the best things that happened to him, and he already had so much going for him. On the other hand, up until this past week, his old life was all he'd known, plus even though a lot of it was bad, he'd had some good times, too. And Carly, Sam, his mom and Spencer came all the way down to Canada just to try to get him to come back. They seemed pretty sincere in wanting to be better to him, too (or at least, Carly and, to a lesser extent, Mrs. Benson did; Spencer didn't do anything wrong and Sam did want to change, but only after Nikki beat her up). He didn't know what to do. Carly, Sam, Spencer and Mrs. Benson walked into the Arctic Circle. "Hi, Freddie." Carly said. "Hey, Carly. Sam. Spencer. Mom." he said. "Listen..." Carly began to say before he cut her off. "I still haven't made up my mind." he said. "Okay, but we talked about it to your new friends, and they're good people. I can tell they already care a lot about you, sounds like they were much better friends than us." Carly said. "Go on." Freddie said. "Anyway, they set some ground rules for us if you do decide to come home with us. We understand if you still don't want to come back, but if you do, we promise things will be a lot different." she told him. He thought this whole thing over. Now he was even more conflicted. The six teens cared enough about him to set some ground rules for Carly, Sam and his mom. Now he really didn't know if he should come back or stay there. He continued to think for a bit. "I've made my decision." he finally decided.
