Hey, guys, welcome to the new chapter of 'Amphibia 13!'. I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter. Also, before we being, I would like to give my condolences to Derrick J Wyatt, who had died sometime in December 2021. The man was at least half of my childhood, and I felt a great deal of sadness for his death. RIP Derrick J Wyatt, may you live on in peace in Heaven. Now, let's have a moment of silence for the great man that we just lost.

{Amphibia 13!- Season 1, Episode 6: Extraterrestrial Stakeout!}

~{8:00am}~

It was a normal, quiet morning in Amphibia as we zoom over to Wartwood and cue to the Plantar House, where we see Hop Pop doing the dishes with the help of his Grandson and Granddaughter as the Old Frog was washing dishes before handing them over to Sprig for him to dry the dishes as he then gave the dry plates to Polly, who was sitting on the kitchen counter as she reaches up to place the plates on the cabinet above her. Whistling a tune, the Plantar Family shared a warm, fond smile as they continued working together to finish their chores as fast as they can but their peaceful family activity was interrupted by an arguing Anne and Dereck as the Omnitrix Wielders stomped into the living room while glaring at each other.

"I'm just saying, would it kill you to pick up after yourself!? Do you know how embarrassing it is to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and accidentally step on your dirty panties?!" Dereck asked Anne with a blush on his face as the messy-haired girl rolled her eyes with a scoff.

"Oh, stop being such a drama queen about it, Dereck. You don't see me complaining about your snoring."

"I do not snore!"

"Yes, you do!" Anne screamed as she and Dereck walked over to the door and opened it as they stepped out of the house while still arguing with each other as the Plantar Family shared a look before Hop Pop and Polly shrugged as they continued doing the dishes, but Sprig, however, could only look on with worry as he hums.

~{11:00am}~

"Come on, Dereck, lift with your back, fool!" A grunting Anne says as we see her and Dereck trying to lift up a big box filled with tons of different vegetables as they were trying to take it outside of the Plantar House with Hop Pop supervising them as a curious Sprig could be seen raking the leaves outside.

"I'm trying! This thing weighs like a ton, Anne!" A sweating, trembling Dereck says as Anne turned her head to glare at him with an annoyed look on her face.

"Well, we wouldn't have trouble lifting up these boxes if a certain someone wasn't so stubborn about refusing to use our alien powers to do this stupid chore!"

"Oh, JesusChrist, Anne, 95% of our aliens can't even fit through the damn door!"

"Don't you dare use math against me!" Anne screamed while pointing at him angrily before she and Dereck yelped in surprise as they lost their hold on the box, and it fell down on the ground, spilling all of the vegetables on the ground as the Omnitrix Wielders groaned in frustration at this. "Oh, way to go, Dereck! You made me lose concentration!" Anne shouted as Dereck gaped at her in disbelief before growing angry as he pointed at her accusingly.

"Oh, don't you blame me, young lady! This is all your fault!"

"Why is everything always my fault, dammit! You're the one not strong enough to help me carry around that box, noodle arms!"

"Oh, please! You're the one that has weak lower strength, chicken legs!" Dereck said insultingly as he and Anne walked up to glare into each other's eyes with electricity bouncing in between them as an exasperated Hop Pop shakes his head at this while Sprig bit his lip concernedly as he continued raking the leaves.

~{3:00pm}~

"GODAMMIT, ANNE! WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?! I NEED TO TAKE A PISS!" Dereck screamed loudly from upstairs as we see Polly playing cards with Hop Pop in the living room with her brother taking an afternoon nap on the couch as the Plantar Family instantly stopped what they were doing on account of Dereck and Anne's commotion upstairs as they looked up at the ceiling.

"AND I KEEP TELLING YOU TO WAIT, DERECK! I'M TRYING TO SHAVE!"

"BUT IT HAS BEEN THREE HOURS ALREADY, ANNE! HOW MUCH HAIR DO YOU HAVE THAT IT'S FORCING YOU TO TAKE THIS LONG IN THE BATHROOM?!"

"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS, DERECK! IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A PISS SO BADLY, THEN JUST DO IT OUTSIDE!"

"I TRIED! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO PEE OUTSIDE WHEN THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF GIANT BUGS AND CREATURES CRAWLING AROUND?! I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE, ANNE! THE BATHROOM IN OUR ROOM IS BROKEN, SO I'M FORCED TO USE THIS ONE! IF YOU DON'T COME OUT IN THREE SECONDS, I WILL BE BREAK DOWN THE DOOR!" Dereck screamed as the Plantar Family could hear Anne gasping in disbelief/shock.

"YOU WOULDN'T DARE!"

"TRY ME! ONE..."

"DERECK, YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!"

"TWO..."

"OH, HELL NO! DERECK, I SWEAR TO GOD THAT IF YOU BARGE INTO THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW, I WILL GO WILDMUTT ON YOU!"

"FINE! THEN I WILL GO BLOODHOUND! THREE!" Dereck screamed as a flash of green light occurred from upstairs, and a loud roar rang out as the Plantar Family heard the bathroom door breaking down and the sounds of Anne shrieking in shock/embarrassment rang out.

"OH, THAT'S IT!" Anne screamed furiously as another flash of green light occurred, and Sprig and everyone else could hear the sounds of two beasts fighting, growling, and biting each other.

"UGH, I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE! HOP POP! WE MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!" Sprig yelled while sitting up from the couch as a calm Hop Pop turned to his Grandson and shakes his head.

"Now, now, Sprig, there's nothing to be worried about. Remember, Anne and Dereck are a couple of teenagers living together in the same house and are forced to share a room with each other, which means they will see each other at their best and worst. Arguments are bound to happen. Just let Anne and Dereck settle out their differences and, eventually, they will stop arguing and become friends again."

"Yeah, they're just getting used to living with each other. It's not a big deal." Polly says with a shrug before she and her Grandfather yelped in surprise as Sprig leaped over them with a concerned/bewildered/disbelief expression on his face.

"Not a big deal!? Do you two not remember what happened to the Hendersons next door?! They used to argue all the time, and look what happened to them!" Sprig screamed while pointing out of the window as Hop Pop and Polly saw the Henderson's old, broken down, abandoned place a few feet away from their own home as the trio saw a humming Wally scavenging the remains of the old broken Frog Family's home. "If we don't do something now, it won't be long before their bickering tears their relationship apart, and Anne and Dereck will get a divorce, and my Deranne Ship will be ruined!" Sprig screamed in horror while placing his hands on his head panickedly as Hop Pop and Polly stared at him oddly.

"First of all, you do realize that Anne and Dereck aren't married, right? Heck, they aren't even boyfriend and girlfriend yet. Second of all, Deranne? What's that?" Polly asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, I know, but a Frog can dream. Also, Anne had taught me what ships are, and I ship her and Dereck. Anyway, we have to figure out a way for Anne and Dereck to get along again!" Sprig yelled while slamming his fists together determinedly as Hop Pop simply closes his eyes and shakes his head.

"Now, now, Sprig, there's no need for any shenanigans. All we have to do is to leave the lovebirds alone and let them sort this problem on their own. Besides, it's not like we have a lot of options. You can't force people to get along." Hop Pop says as Sprig pouted at what he said...before a mischievous idea popped into his head as he grins slyly.

"Of course not, Hop Pop. You're completely right. I'm just going to take my nap in my room and do nothing else. Goodbye." Sprig says robotically with a scheming look on his face as he walks away while laughing evilly as Sprig made his way over to his room.

"Well, that definitely doesn't seem suspicious." Hop Pop said as he smiled obliviously and continued playing his game of cards with his Granddaughter, who watched her older brother walk away with a suspicious look on her face as Polly frowned seriously.

~[Amphibia 13!- Season 1: Theme Song]~

A bruised, bleeding, and defeated, Anne Boonchuy and Dereck Wyatt crouched down on the floor of the destroyed park as the injured teenagers panted heavily and glared up at the large robotic space alien-like drone looming over them as they looked down at their Omnitrixes and cursed in unison as they realized that they were time out and unable to transform. Glancing over at the rest of their friends for support, Anne and Dereck were discouraged/dismayed to see an unconscious Sasha Waybright lying on the floor with pieces of brown rocks and fire littering around her as her mineral-armored cousin Johnathon Waybright was desperately trying to wake her up, but failed as a trembling and scared Marcy Wu laid on the floor while holding onto the Calamity Box in her arms as her older brother Asashi Wu tried to help her up to the floor so that they can run away with their friends, but Marcy refused to budge as she clutched onto the Musical Box tightly.

Turning back to the huge robot, Anne, Dereck, and the rest of the teens were horrified/shocked to see it lifting its giant hand to aim it towards them as it begins charging up to deliver a mega-sized laser blast that will fry the teens to dust. Sharing a quick look at each other, the teenage friends nodded to each other grimly as they accepted their imminent fates, and Anne grabbed onto Dereck's hand as he gave it a comforting squeeze, and the Omnitrix Wielders both shared one final hug as Johnathon grabbed onto his unconscious cousin and brought her into a tearful hug as Asashi gave one to his sister as well and Marcy hugged him back tightly as she dropped her Calamity Box just as the large drone shot a huge laser at them as the musical box crashed landed onto the ground and it opened up as the group was treated to a bright, colorful flash of light that blinded them momentarily and transported them to the world of Amphibia, alongside the huge drone and its master residing up above in space as he, his ship, and his army were all teleported onto another world.

Groaning in pain, Anne and Dereck woke up as they lifted their heads and blinked a couple of times...before their eyes widened in shock as they realized that they were lying face-first on a puddle and quickly stood up as the teens looked around, and the duo gasped in wonder/awe/fear as Anne and Dereck had quickly deduced that they weren't back on their world anymore since they were residing on a large forest/swamp with hundreds of humanoid talking frogs leaping in front of them. Trembling in fear, Anne and Dereck held hands as they turn around to run away and ventured deep into the woods as they struggled to make sense of what was going on, where their friends are, and why the weird musical box that Anne stole earlier transported them into this weird world, but skids to a stop as they realized that the huge drone from earlier was warped into Amphibia with them as it loomed over them menacingly.

Once its sensors locked onto their Omnitrixes, the large drone hums loudly as it raises its hand high into the air and aims it at the kids as it started charging his laser cannon, and the still injured Omnitrix Wielders shivered in fear at the sight of it as they were planning to turn around and leave, but once they hear the citizens of Wartwood Swamp running in fright from the giant monster threatening to destroy their home, Anne and Dereck put on fierce, determined looks on their faces as they turned to each other and nodded as they held out their hands and activated their Omnitrixes just as the giant robot opened fire on them as the duo slammed their hands onto their watches and dual flashes of green light covered the area as we pull back to see all of Amphibia, which was a large island that resembled a humongous lilypad as the sounds of fighting, explosions, and frog croaking could be heard in the background.

Now we find ourselves

Into the wild unknown

A week later, we cue to Wartwood Swamp as we see various bug-like creatures and several Frogs enjoying their peaceful day in their fair town as we zoom over to the Plantar House, where we see Anne and Dereck stepping out of the house after ducking under the Plantar's Family House small door and closing the door behind them as the sixteen-year-olds stood up straight and placed their hands on their hips heroically with confident, smirks on their faces as Anne and Dereck then glance down at their Omnitrixes and turned to each other with a couple of excited smirks as they quickly turned on their watches and began scrolling down their alien playlist to see which alien they would like to turn into as they subconsciously lean closer to each other.

And we're far from home

While our teenage heroes were busy messing around with their Omnitrixes, a pair of rather large dragonflies flew past their heads as they flew up towards the roof of the house and zoomed by a window, where an eager and excited Sprig Plantar emerged from it to stare at the flying dragonflies with his telescope in awe/wonder, only to then yelp in surprise as Sprig trips on the windowsill and screams in fear as he begins falling down to his death and zooms by another window, which was actually the window that leads into Hop Pop Plantar's room as the old frog was startled by his grandson's scream and turned away from his research from the Calamity Box and the pair of Omnitrixes that the duo wore as he discretely hid them under his table.

But there's so much here to discover

One leap after another

A screaming Sprig continued falling down for his life as the small pink-skinned frog crashed landed onto a wooden bucket filled with water and, after recovering from the rough landing, a stunned Sprig sits up from the bucket as he looks around and sighs in relief with a goofy smile on his face, not fazed by his near-death in the slightest before yelping in surprise as he was punched into the air by his little baby sister Polly Plantar and the small tadpole hovered in the air with a vicious look on her face as she then fell down on her bucket and pops out with a cheerful look on her face as she flashed the readers a cute, innocent smile.

Back with the teens, we see them still trying to find the right alien to use for the day, only to come up short as Anne and Dereck couldn't decide which to use yet as they groaned in annoyance and turned over to complain to each other...before realizing how close their faces were as they blushed in embarrassment and shyly pulled away as Dereck looked away and whistled nervously as a blushing Anne awkwardly pulled off the leaves from her hair. Seeing that his friend needed his help, Dereck reached over to gently remove the leaves and twigs from her hair as Anne smiled at him gratefully and returned the favor by removing the leaves and bugs from his outfit as the kids shared a laugh. After calming down, the kids slowly turned to stare into each other eyes as they blushed lightly but smiled as they started leaning closer to each other to share a kiss...only to be interrupted by Sprig as he crash-landed face-first into Anne's hair and was then launched over to Dereck as they crashed landed onto the floor.

Blinking in surprise at what just happened, Anne looks down as she saw a groaning Dereck and Sprig lying on the floor as the human boy rubbed his head, and both he and Anne glances down to glare at their froggy friend for a couple of obvious reasons as Sprig gave his friends a sheepish, awkward shrug as the Omnitrix Wielders continued glaring him for a couple of seconds before the trio shared a laugh as Anne help Dereck up to his feet and Sprig leaped up to stand onto their shoulders as he eagerly pointed ahead. Knowing that their friend clearly wants to go on another adventure, Anne gave her friend an apologetic shrug as Dereck simply closed his eyes and waved it off dismissively as she smiles in relief just as Sprig jumps off to run off into adventure as the teens followed after him while activating their Omnitrixes as two huge flashes of green light occurred and covered the area around them.

A laughing Anne, Dereck, and Sprig could be seen bouncing across a large, mushroom-infested field as the Omnitrix Wielders were currently in their alien forms Grey Matter and Crashhopper as each of them were jumping across multiple huge mushrooms, and, with each step they took, caused the mushrooms to light up with blue luminescent light. A smiling Sprig leap across the mushroom field like the frog that he is as Grey Matter followed after him while using her intelligence and agility to find the correct and easier way to leap across the giant mushrooms due to her small size as a smirking Crashhopper jumped near them and was easily making bigger leaps high into the air thanks to his strange alien biology as the group whopped in shared excitement/happiness.

Life doesn't get much crazier

A panicking Sprig runs across the grassy fields of a nearby forest as an equally panicking Four Arms followed after him while carrying a large dinosaur-shaped egg in her four huge hands as a giant chicken/demon-like creature was chasing after them, clearly angry at them for stealing the egg that he stole from another creature earlier to use for lunch as the giant monster caught up to the duo and was about to breathe fire on them, only to be stopped by a glaring Jetray as he flew in and shot multiple neuroshock blasts at him, causing him to be sent flying a few feet away as Jetray shot a thumbs up at the duo below and his friends did the same as they proceed to continue running away while Jetray stayed behind to distract the huge chicken/demon-like monster.

The Plantar Family, including Anne and Dereck, were having a peaceful day of fishing on a swamp while sitting on a giant lily pad as they sighed contently...before yelping in surprise as the lilypad suddenly started rising high into the air, and the cautious group of humans and frogs looks down as they realized that they were not sitting on top of a lilypad, but instead were using a swamp creature's head as a seat and the huge monster clearly wasn't happy about that as he roared at them loudly. Anne, Dereck, Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly screamed in fear as the swamp monster tried to shake them off by swimming across the lake at high speeds, but the group won't let go as the Omnitrix Wielders shared a look and nodded as they quickly activated their watches and Anne transformed into Ripjaws while Dereck transformed into Articguanna as both heroes began slashing/blasting the large monster to submission.

When you're a somewhat normal boy and girl

Living in another alien world

Sprig, Hop Pop, and a bored Polly studied the walls of the ancient temple that they were randomly adventuring in as, unknown to them, a giant boulder was heading straight towards them, and they were about to be flattened like pancakes, only for Cannonbolt and Spidermonkey to appear on the scene as Anne grabbed onto Sprig and Polly and rolled them up inside her ball form as she zooms off while Spidermonkey swung in on his webbing as he grabs on to a startled Hop Pop and swung him away to safety as the huge boulder rolled right past them.

The sounds of growling and the stench of death littered the area as a bunch of frog-like zombies appeared and corned our young heroes as Heatblast, Swampfire, and Sprig all stood back-to-back as the alien heroes glared at their adversaries determinedly while Sprig was clearly scared for his life as the menacing zombies loomed over to attack and later eat their brains.

Jump on in it

An injured, tired, and battered Anne, Dereck, Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly all shared a victorious high-five as they finished defeating a horde of large evil lizard/dinosaur-like creatures as they smiled and cheered at their successful adventure, only for their excitement to die down as another one of those evil creatures popped out of the bushes and screeches at them as he waddled awkwardly over to attack them. The frog family took a couple of steps back nervously, but Anne and Dereck weren't afraid of this however as they grinned at the evil monster cockily and reaches down to activate their Omnitrixes...only for them to receive two powered-down beeps as the teens slowly looked down and realize that their Omnitrixes powered down to recharge. Blinking at this, the gang all shared an emotionless look before screaming in absolute fear as the group turned around to run away with the lizard/dinosaur-like monster chasing after them as Anne, Dereck, and Plantar Family desperately pleaded at the Omnitrixes to recharge faster.

An old ripped printed image appears to be stuck in the branch of a lone tree as heavy rain rang out with the wind blowing on the photo harshly as loud lightning rang out, and we peered into the photo to see Anne, Dereck, Sasha, Johnathon, Marcy, and Asashi all sharing a group hug with their smiling faces shining brightly as another flash of lightning occurred, and we see that the image was distorted a bit as it shows a glaring Anne and Dereck reaching out to grab onto their Omnitrixes as they were standing in front of an angry mutated Sasha with her equally angry cousin standing beside as he had his arms morphed into large dual swords. The group growled at each other furiously as a flash of lightning rang out, and we see Marcy and Asashi cooly standing in the background with their backs turned to them as they wore different clothing and held the Calamity Box in their hands as another flash of lightning occurred, and two pair of red alien-like/newt-like eyes could be seen placed at the top of the photo as they were glaring down at the group of kids angrily.

A roaring Wildmutt and a smirking Crystalline could be seen standing in front of a pond located at Wartwood Swamp as they posed heroically before their Omnitrixes symbols started flashing red as they both transformed into their human forms with dual flashes of red light. Once it dies down, we see a yelping Anne waving around wildly as she tripped on a rock and began falling down as she screamed before being caught by Dereck as the young teenage boy smiled down at her cheekily and helped her up to her feet as he held her in his arms and Anne blushed a bit by this as she giggles and Dereck smirked as the kids begin leaning in to share their first kiss, only to deadpanned as the Plantar Family showed up and a happy and oblivious Sprig leaped onto his friends' arms. Anne and Dereck gave their froggy friend a subtle annoyed look before shrugging as the rest of their Wartwood friends appeared and stood beside them as they turn over to flash at the readers a friendly smile with Anne and Dereck posing heroically as they raised their hands high into the air, and the camera zoomed in onto their glowing Omnitrix Symbols as the title card of the story appeared on the screen.

~{5:00pm}~

A couple of hours later, after Anne and Dereck had stopped their fighting upstairs, we see the Omnitrix Wielders and the Plantar Family (Minus Sprig) having some relaxing time in the backyard of the Planter House as Anne was reading a fashion magazine with Polly sitting on her lap as she was reading it as well, and Dereck rolled up his pant legs and took off his shoes as he dunks his feet into the swamp river that was located near the house, and Hop Pop was taking a nap on his lawn chair as a flock of large flies flew by and honked like geese as the group sighed in content...before a screaming Sprig appeared as he kicked the backyard open and ran into the back porch of the house while flailing his arms around like a muppet as everyone yelped in surprise.

"Geez, Sprig, where's the fire...but seriously, is there a fire?" Dereck asked worriedly as Anne has the tendency to accidentally burn the house whenever she transforms into Heatblast.

"No, it's worse! We've been robbed!"

"Say whaaaaaaaaaaat?!" A shocked Hop Pop exclaimed while waking up from his nap with a sharp gasp as Anne snorted and laughed as everyone turned to her weirdly.

"Ha, ha, ha, sorry, sorry. I-It's just that Hop Pop delivered the perfect sitcom catchphrase."

"...It must be painful to make so little sense all the time." Hop Pop says while shaking his head as it has been a couple of weeks since the Omnitrix Wielders had come to live with them, and Hop Pop STILL hasn't gotten used to the Human Shapeshifters' antics, especially Anne's.

"Wait, what do you mean that we've been robbed, Sprig?" A worried Dereck asked while getting up from the floor as he rolled down his pant legs and puts on his shoes.

"Yeah, what do you mean by that, Sprig?" Polly asked while narrowing her eyes at her brother, who looked away nervously as he coughed.

"J-Just come and follow me." Sprig says while turning around to hop away as Hop Pop stood up from his chair with Anne doing the same as the group followed after the pink poisonous Frog. Ten minutes later, we see Sprig leading his family and friends over to the Plantar Cornfield as they reached the center of the field, and everyone gasped in shock as they saw that a section of the cornfield was destroyed with multiple corns being forcefully ripped out of the ground and either stomped on or stolen as the wheelbarrow was buried in the ground.

"Oh, no! My prize-winnin' corn!" Hop Pop exclaimed while placing his hands on his head in horror as the Omnitrix Wielders gave him an odd look.

"You've won prizes? Really?"

"Yeah, I find that hard to believe." An unconvinced Dereck says as Hop Pop turned to glare at him and Anne.

"It's an expression, kids. What are you two? The fact police? Stop busting my balls." Hop Pop says as Anne and Dereck raised their hands in surrender.

"Alright, alright, chill, old man. I will just transform into Wildmutt to sniff out the thief." Anne says as Hop Pop nodded in satisfaction and the Plantar Family took a couple of steps back as Anne reaches down to activate her Omnitrix by pressing the two green buttons attached to each side of her device as she began scrolling down through her alien playlist before finding the right alien that she wanted to use as Anne then raised her hand and proceeds to slam her hand down on the core of her Omnitrix as a flash of green light covered her whole body.

[Anne 13's Transformation Sequence]

A flash of green luminescent light travels across the young girl's form as Anne Boonchuy closes her eyes and grunts as various pale purple spines began spreading out of her Omnitrix Arm and covering it entirely as the messy auburn-haired girl opened her eyes, revealing them to be green and pupilless as Anne growled and went down on all fours as she grew in size. Twirling around, a large feline-like tail popped out of her ass as a panting Anne sat down and started scratching her left ear frantically as her whole body started getting covered with pale purple spines as the young teenage girl fully transformed into her alien form and raised her arm as Anne unleashed her claws and proceeds to slam her clawed-paw down on the ground, cracking it as a light gray/purple collar appeared and wrapped around her neck as Wildmutt stood up to her full height and reared back her head as she lets out a loud bestial roar and another flash of green light occurred.

"Wildmutt!" Polly shouted with a deep, gravely yet womanly tone while cupping her stubby hands close to her mouth as everyone turned to look down at her confusedly. "What? Anne can't talk as Wildmutt. Someone had to help her out." Polly says with a shrug as Wildmutt gave her a thankful look before burying her face to the ground as she begins sniffing for the corn thief.

"Well, while she's doing that, I will transform into Swampfire and grow back all of the corn that you've lost," Dereck says as Hop Pop beams happily and gave him a grateful nod as Dereck glances down at his Omnitrix and presses the two green buttons attached to each side of his device, activating it as he began scrolling down through his alien playlist before finding the right alien that he wanted to use as Dereck then raised his hand and grunted as he slammed his hand down on the core of his Omnitrix and a flash of green light occurred as it covered the young teen's body.

[Dereck 13's Transformation Sequence]

A flash of green luminescent light washed over the young teen's body as Dereck Wyatt floated in mid-air and closed his eyes as he lowered his head and huge thick moss green vines shot out of his back as they began wrapping around his slim body and, once he had fully transformed into his alien form, a smirking Swampfire chuckled as he lowered his hands and fired dual torrents of hot green flames that propelled him into the air as the plant-like alien twirled around and crashed landing onto the ground so hard that a shockwave range out as Dereck grunted and raised his fists as he began firing multiple green fireballs at the screen before lifting up his thick muscular arms as the transformed alien teenage boy summons dozens upon dozens of vines that shot out of the ground and joined together to form a giant fist made out of vines as Swampfire lets out a loud battle cry and mentally manipulated his vine-made fist to throw a humungous punch at the readers as another flash of green light occurred.

Once the green light dies down, we see that Dereck has now transformed into a 7-feet-tall, male Methanosian as he resembled a humanoid plant-like alien with a red flame-patterned head, oval-shaped green eyes with small black oval-shaped pupils, no ears/nose, a small white mouth, his head/shoulders have red petals, moss green frills sticking out his elbows/legs, thick muscular moss green arms with four long fingers, moss green/light gray-colored body, a slender slightly muscular body with a slim waist, moss-green thick huge root-like feet that are seemingly holding light gray rocks, and has the Omnitrix symbol located on his stomach as his body also reeks of a distinct rotten stench that worsens with heat. His name is-

"Swampfire!" The now named Swampfire says while bending down to his knees as he placed his hands on the ground and closed his eyes in concentration as Dereck had used his plant powers to regrow the corn stocks in the Plantar's Cornfield. After ten minutes of waiting for Anne to finish with her investigation, a growling Wildmutt made her way over to the group as her and Swampfire's Omnitrix Symbols began flashing red as both of them have returned back into their Human Forms with dual flashes of red lights.

"Well, the bad news is that I couldn't find the thief's stench. All I could smell was manure and Swampfire's awful stench."

"Oh, piss off." An annoyed Dereck says while rolling his eyes as Anne glared at him.

"Oh, this is an outrage! This villainous lowlife must've known that you two were here and made sure to cover his tracks!" Sprig exclaimed with a fake angry glare while clenching his fist as Polly gave him a side-eye. "We must do something about this injustice!"

"Now, now, Sprig, while I'm happy that you're so passionate about produce, there's no need to overreact. Since Anne can't track down the thief with Wildmutt and Dereck had used his Swampfire powers to regrow the cornfield, I say why don't we let this little incident go and forget it ever happened." A smiling Hop Pop says while dusting off his hands as he turned around to leave but stopped as his Grandson leaped over to give him a firm glare and shakes his head.

"Out of the question, Hop Pop! We've gotta catch this thief! If the thief stole once, he/she will steal again! Besides, do you want either Anne or Dereck to fix up the cornfield every single day while they're with us? How will that work when Anne and Dereck eventually go back to their Home Planet? They can't stay here and protect us forever, so we need to find a way to figure out who the thief is and capture him/her! And I have the perfect idea on how to do it by having Anne and Dereck do an...extraterrestrial stakeout!"

"Ah...ah, he said it! Sprig said the title of the chapter!" Polly says excitedly while pointing at her older brother as Anne and Dereck, however, didn't seem to like the idea as they begin grumbling and complaining.

"Aw, what? Why do I have to do a stakeout with Dereck? Can't I do it with you instead?" Anne pleaded while placing her hands on her hips as she wasn't in the mood to deal with Dereck all night long...heh, that sounded kind of dirty, ha, ha.

"Yeah, can I please change partners? I would rather do the stakeout with anyone except for Anne. Hell, I would take Polly even." Dereck says while crossing his arms as Sprig shakes his head.

"Well, first off, I obviously can't do the stakeout with either of you because I have the attention span of a...oh, look at that!" Sprig says before trailing off as he got distracted by a butterfly and a deadpan Anne coughed to get his attention as Sprig turned back to the group. "Where was I? Oh, right, anyway, Hop Pop and Polly can't do the stakeout either since one of them will fall asleep quickly and the other's a baby."

"Hmmm, Sprig does make a good point, though. We don't know how dangerous this thief is, and you two are the ones with the alien watches, so it's better to be safe and sorry and have you two stakeout the cornfield than endanger our own lives." Hop Pop says while placing his hands on his hips as Anne and Dereck groaned at what the older Frog said as Sprig did a mental fist pump that his plan was working like a charm.

"Ugh, fine, we will do the stupid stakeout then. Heh, I might as well do the stakeout with Anne. Don't want her messing up like either falling asleep or setting the cornfield on fire." Dereck says snidely while walking away as Anne turned to glare at him and scoffed.

"Geez, I set the forest on fire that ONE time, and he never lets it go!" Anne stated with an annoyed growl while reluctantly following after Dereck as Hop Pop did the same.

"You stole the corn and covered the field with manure so that Anne won't be able to track you, huh?" Polly asked her brother blankly as Sprig nodded shamelessly.

"Oh, absolutely! And now that I've forced these two to spend the whole night together alone, they will kiss and make up and hopefully become a couple afterwards! It's a win win!" An excited Sprig says while bending down to grab Polly as she gave him a scolding look.

"Sprig, you can't manipulate people like this!"

"I can, and I did, and it's going to save my favorite ship!" Sprig exclaimed with a determined starry look on his face as Polly merely groaned and rolled her eyes as she had an inkling that this is going to go horribly wrong.

~{3:00am}~

"Mm-hmm, hmmm. Mm-hmmm, hmmm." Sprig hums joyfully as we fast forward to nighttime and cue to Sprig's Room as we see Polly resting comfortably in her brother's hammock and was watching the pink poisonous Frog pull out his telescope from his closet as he used it to spy on Anne and Dereck, who was hiding behind the garden wall that was placed on a large hill next to the Plantar House as they were currently staking out the Planter Cornfield. "Ha, ha, just look at 'em. Sooner or later, they will stop arguing and become friends again." Sprig says with a cheerful smile as Polly merely grumbled and sighed heavily as she laid down on Sprig's Hammock to sleep.

"Alright, so far, so good. Haven't caught a sign of the thief yet, but it doesn't mean that we should be lazy. We need to be alert and ready at all times to transform and beat the thief's ass when he/she shows up." Dereck stated to Anne seriously while peeking over the edge of the small garden wall with a pair of binoculars that he borrowed from Sprig as he narrowed his eyes before grunting in surprise as a flash of light blinded him a bit, and Dereck lowered his binoculars as he shakes his head and turned to Anne...only to then deadpan as he saw his best friend distracted on the phone. "For god's sake, Anne, if you're going to use your phone, can you at least lower the light setting? You're giving away our position to the thief!"

"Alright, alright, geez, man, relax," Anne says with a mild glare while lowering the light of her phone as Dereck nodded in satisfaction and turned back to continue spying on the cornfield as Anne went back to watch Jessica Jones on her Netflix Account, mentally high-fiving herself for downloading the show before she got warped to Amphibia as the messy auburn-haired girl suddenly lets out a small yawn and felt her eyelids dropped a bit as Dereck sees this and chuckles as he rolled his eyes knowingly.

"Heh, I had a feeling that you were going to go to sleep first. Just like you did when we were eight and had a sleepover as we were having a monster movie marathon, and you got knocked out within the first hour." Dereck says as Anne blushes in embarrassment and turned off her phone as she placed it beside her.

"Oh, screw off, Dereck. This isn't going to be like last time because Momma has a backup plan. Ba-Bam!" Anne says while rummaging around her backpack as she pulled out a water bottle that was filled with some strange red liquid.

"What is that? Hawaiian Punch?" A confused Dereck asked as Anne grinned slyly and chuckled as she shakes her head.

"Ha, ha, nope. This is a very special drink that I've made by using Grey Matter's super intelligent brain to locate the necessary ingredients to create Amphibia's First Energy Drink! I shall call it...The Ba-Bam Blast! Because once you drink it, it will give you a Ba-Bam!" Anne says while shoving her make-shift drink right into Dereck's face as he eyed it critically and laughs mockingly as the Male Omnitrix Wielder pulls the drink away.

"Oh, that's very cute, Anne, but you're not the only one who created their very own energy drink...behold!" Dereck exclaimed as he turns around to briefly rummage through his backpack and pull out a sports bottle that was filled with some kind of purple liquid as he whirls back to Anne to show off his make-shift drink.

"Wait, what?! You created your own energy drink!? But you don't even have a smart alien like Grey Matter." Anne whined as Dereck smirked cockily and chuckled as he waved his energy drink around.

"Yeah, you're right, but after I remembered that you told us that you were using Grey Matter to create make-shift Earth Dishes and we were tasked to stakeout the cornfield, I've decided to use a combination of Slapback and Fasttrack to figure out which ingredients to use to create an energy drink and how to find and acquire them. Long story short, I've created Amphibia's Second Energy Drink...the Mega X-Shake!"

"Okay, that's a pretty cool name," Anne says admittedly with Dereck nodding as they shared a brief fist pump. "But still, there's no way that your Energy Drink is better than mine, though," Anne stated smugly as Dereck gasped and narrowed his eyes at her as he gripped his make-shift Energy Drink tightly.

"Oh, yeah, really, huh?"

"Yeah."

"..."

"...GIMME THAT!" The Omnitrix Wielders shouted in unison as they reached over to grab their friend's make-shift energy drink, and Anne proceeds to chug down Dereck's Mega X-Shake while Dereck chugs down Anne's Ba-Bam Blast. After both teens had finished drinking each other energy drinks, Anne cringed as her face scrunched up as if she ate a lemonade while Dereck's face went ill as he groaned, and the alien-shapeshifting heroes then shakes their heads as they tried to put on a brave face and turned to smirk at each other smugly...before they turned around to vomit on the grass.

"Ugh, gross!" The Teenage Humans groaned in disgust as Anne teared up while Dereck coughed as they finished vomiting out the make-shift energy drinks and turned to each other as they slowly smiled and shared a chuckle as the shape-shifting heroes sat down on the ground close to each other.

"Ha, ha, ha, you should have seen the look on your face, Derreck! You were dying!"

"Ha, ha, ha, well, you didn't fare better as well, missy. You looked like you were going to explode in disgust." Dereck says with a chuckle as Anne giggled and nodded as she yawned a bit and decided to scoot over to her friend to place her head on his lap, much to Dereck's surprise as he blushed a bit but eventually called and placed his hand on her hair as the Male Omnitrix Wielder begins rubbing it and a calm silence rang out as the Female Omnitrix Wielder glances up at the sight with a thoughtful look on her face as Anne turned to Dereck.

"Hey, Dereck? Do you think one of those stars could be planet Earth?"

"Hmm, possibly, yeah."

"Cool...you know, Dereck, sometimes I wonder if we will ever get back home."

"Oh, come on, Anne, don't talk like that."

"No, Dereck, I'm serious," Anne says while sitting up from the ground as she turned to give her friend a stern, somber look. "Let's look at our situation, shall we? We were warped here to an alien planet filled with humanoid Frogs, possibly thousands of light-years away from Earth, and, so far, we're not even halfway done on figuring out how to get back home! It's been nearly a month since we got stuck here, Dereck! A month! Can you imagine how freaked out our parents and families are?! And we don't even know what happened to Sasha and the others! Were they warped here to Amphibia with us, or are they still on Earth and possibly think that the box killed us, alongside that Giant Robot thing! Speaking off, we're not even sure if whatever it is that attacked us that fateful night had more robots at his disposal and sent them all to our town to come and find us! Our home could be destroyed for all we know!" Anne ranted while pulling on her hair as she then slides down on the ground and placed her hands on her face as Anne started crying, feeling overwhelmed by the terrible situation that they were in as a silent Dereck was quick to grab his friend and pull her close to him as he rubs her hair while Anne continued sobbing on his chest.

"Anne, everything you just said is exactly what I've been feeling," Dereck stated seriously as Anne paused her crying to look up at him in surprise. "Look, don't you think I'm worried too? I-I was trying to be strong for you, but I can't hold back my feelings anymore. I'm scared, Anne. Really, really, scared b-because there might be a chance that we won't come back home. I-I can't deny that and say that everything is going to be fine because that's the honest truth. B-But what's worse is that I'm also scared for my Mom. Y-You know that ever since Dad...died in the line of duty, my mother wasn't able to handle it...well, and h-had a few slip-ups. And now that I'm gone and stuck here in Amphibia with no way to tell her what happened to me, to us, I'm...I'm scared that she might do it. If we ever go back home, I don't want to come back as an o-orphan, Anne. I don't want to lose my Mom too." Dereck says while lowering his head and started shedding some tears as Anne felt her heart go for her friend and was quick to let go of him as she placed her hands on his face.

"Hey, hey, hey, look at me. Look at me, Dereck." Anne says while forcing Dereck to look at her as she gave him a calm, reassuring look. "Your mother is not going to kill herself, I promise you that."

"B-But Anne-,"

"No, you listen to me, Dereck Wyatt. Your mother is not going to die because my parents know of her few slip-ups and, while they might be worried for me as well, they will definitely look out for her and make sure that nothing happened to her. When we go back to Earth, you will find your mother alive and well in your house, and you will hug and kiss her. And, on the very slim chance that your mother killed herself, you won't be alone, Dereck. I will convince my parents to let you live with them, and we will take care of you. You're my greatest best friend in the whole world, Dereck. Either on Earth or on Amphibia, I will NEVER let anything happen to you, Dereck." Anne stated while hugging him as Dereck sniffled and hugged her back as he smiled softly, feeling a bit cheered up as he lets go of her.

"Thanks, Anne. Truth be told, this might sound a little selfish, but I'm happy that you were warped here with me. I-I'm not sure I would've been able to survive here on Amphibia on my own, and I just don't mean fighting weird bug creatures with my Omnitrix. I...I wouldn't have survived a day without you." Dereck says earnestly as Anne teared up a bit, feeling a bit touched by what he said as she leans over to kiss Dereck's forehead, much to his surprise as Anne pulled back to smile at him warmly/tearfully.

"Same, I-I'm happy that you are here with me too, Dereck. Truth be told, I never would've been able to survive here as well without you. You were always so strong, stronger than me. I would've been a mess without your guidance. I know that I may complain about it, but I honestly depend on you to save my ass more times than not. Long story short, I'm happy to have met you, Dereck Wyatt." Anne says while leaning against his shoulder as Dereck smiled softly and brushed away her tears.

"And I'm happy to have met you, Anne Boonchuy," Dereck says while staring at her a bit as, while she was covered with leaves and dirt, the young teen couldn't help but see how beautiful Anne looks right now as, unknown to him, said girl was thinking the same thing and stared at Dereck intently as Anne blushed by how...handsome he looked under the moonlight and both teens started subconsciously leaning close to each other as they closed their eyes and shared their first-ever kiss.

"Oh my god...oh my god...oh my god! It's happening! My ship is happening!" A heavily excited Sprig says while jumping up and down as he cheered and a groaning Polly ignored what her brother was saying as she continued sleeping. Back with the Omnitrix Wielders, we see the duo still making out with each other as, after a few minutes of locking lips, Anne and Dereck realized that they need oxygen to survive and stop kissing as they separated from each other and Anne pulls back her hair as she giggled with a blush as she turned to look at Dereck...and screamed in fear as the messy auburn-haired girl saw that the young teen had resembled a living muppet.

"What?! What's wrong!? Was our kiss that bad?! Did my breath smell bad!?" A worried, blushing Dereck asked while covering his mouth as Anne gasped at what he said and shakes her hands around frantically.

"No, no, no, that's not it at all! Our kiss was great, amazing really! It's just that, well, you look like a Muppet."

"Oh, yeah, well, at least I'm not wearing a Sailor Moon outfit, and my hair doesn't look like rainbow stardust."

"What?!" A shocked Anne asked while looking down and blushed heavily as the Omnitrix Wielder realized that she was wearing a heavily revealing Sailor Moon outfit and covered herself in embarrassment as Anne also noticed that her hair was glowing like a rainbow.

"What the hell is going on with us!?" A panicking Dereck asked as reality around them wobbled and changed around as they were suddenly standing on a large asteroid that was floating in space.

"How should I know-Oh..." Anne asked exasperatedly before deadpanning as she noticed her and Dereck's drinks floating by them and her eyes widened in realization as Anne gasped. "The drinks! Crap, when we were making our drinks in our alien forms, we must've accidentally made the drinks only susceptible for aliens to drink but not Humans! And now we're both suffering under heavy hallucinations that will make us feel like we're on an acid trip and make us go batshit crazy...wow, that was the smartest-sounding thing I've ever said when I'm not Grey Matter. Huh, I guess some people were right when they say that drugs makes people temporarily smarter."

"True...HOLY SHIT, WE'RE BOTH HIGH ON ALIEN DRUGS! OH, FUCK! NEITHER OF US HAS EVEN DRINK BEER YET! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO US?!"

"I DON'T KNOW, BUT LET'S RUN AROUND AND SCREAM PANICKEDLY! HOPEFULLY, THAT WILL HELP CLEAR OUR MINDS!"

"Well, that temporary enhanced intelligence didn't last long," Dereck mumbles under his breath irritably before he and Anne's minds started getting a little hazy as they started getting affected more and more by their alien drinks, causing them to go high as fuck as they started running around while screaming loudly as they crashed against each other and fell down as they started rolling around on the ground.

"YES! YES! YES! YES-Wait, what?" Sprig cheered before spotting Anne and Dereck rolling around the floor as he gasped in shock/horror. "No, no, no! This can't be! They're fighting again! What happened?! They were making out literally a few seconds ago!" A surprised Sprig asked, not getting the full picture of the situation as he thinks that his friends were so mad at each other that they started fighting again.

"H-Huh? What was that about making out?" A groggy Polly asked while sitting up from Sprig's Hammock as her brother ignored her and began pacing around as Sprig hummed thoughtfully, and an idea popped into his head as he punches his fists together.

"Okay, okay. No problem. We'll just have to take matters into our own hands."

"Wait. You don't mean..."

"Oh, that's right, Polly!" Sprig says while running over to his closet to pull out a large dark brown pointy hat and cloak as he puts them on. "I'm going to steal more corn right under their noses! They'll have to do this again tomorrow, and the next night, and the next night, until they're the bestest friends who were ever friends, and maybe even kiss again and become a couple! My ship will not die!" Sprig exclaimed while letting out a sinister laugh as Polly blinks in disbelief/shock.

"Wait, what kissing? Who kissed? I'm so confused right now!" Polly yelled while throwing up her hands as Sprig grinned before making his way over to the window of his room as his baby sister snapped out of his shock and gave Sprig a concerned look. "Sprig, wait! This is crazy! If Anne and Dereck see you, they might think your a thief and beat you up! You need to just come clean to them and tell the truth!"

"Never! I will never tell them the truth! I will keep this ship alive, Polly! You can't stop me!" Sprig shouted while letting out another evil laugh as he ran over to leap through his window bedroom...and screamed in fear as he fell down through the air and, thankfully, crashed landed against a fluffy large bush as he groaned. "I'm okay!"

"Welp, Sprig is going to die," Polly stated blankly while shaking her head as she sighs heavily and jumped out of Sprig's Hammock as she began hopping her way over to Hop Pop's Room.

"What do we do?! What do we do!? What do we do?!" Anne asked panickedly while sitting in a fetal position as Dereck continued running around her frantically before both of them heard some rustling nearby as Anne got out of her position and crawled over to peeked over the garden wall with Dereck kneeling above her as the Omnitrix Wielders gasped sharply at the sight of a shadowy figuring making his/her way through the Plantar Cornfield.

"The corn thief!" Anne and Dereck exclaimed in unison as they turned to each other and shared a serious nod as they began making their way down the hill.

"He, he, this is the most perfect plan ever." A grinning Sprig says while walking through his family's cornfield as he then took out a garden scythe with an oblivious, innocent smile on his face. "I don't see any fault with this plan whatsoever." Sprig stated cheerfully as he then lifts up his weapon and was about to cut up the corn stock to steal it but then-

"SPRIG PLANTER!" A familiar stern voice rang out as Sprig froze in place and lowered his weapon as he slowly turned around and saw a frowning Hop Pop standing in front of him with Polly riding under his arm as Sprig gulped and gave them a sheepish smile.

"Hey, Hop Pop. What's up?" Sprig asks nervously while trying to look casual as Hop Pop narrowed his eyes at him and walked forward.

"Don't 'Hey, Hop Pop. What's up?' me, mister! Polly told me everything! I can't believe that you were the one stealing the corn this entire time, so that you can force Anne and Dereck to do that stupid stakeout! I told you that I didn't want any of your shenanigans, Sprig!" Hop Pop yelled as Sprig flinched and looked away guiltily as he sighs.

"I'm sorry, Hop Pop, but I did it for a good cause...to save Anne and Dereck's relationship!"

"Ugh, for Frogsakes, Sprig, I told you that Anne and Dereck aren't suffering through any rough patch in their relationship or whatever. They're just having little fights that don't mean anything. All you have to do is to leave them alone and let the kids settle this out on their own, but no, instead you decided to create this big elaborate scheme to have them-,"

"Hey!"

"Stop right there!" A couple of familiar voices rang out, interrupting Hop Pop as the Plantar Family turned around and saw a glaring Anne and Dereck standing in front of them...but something looked odd with them as both of their eyes were either glowing red/purple and had bags under their eyes as they were twitching erratically.

"You're not getting away with stealing the Plantar's corn this time, you little...thief?" Dereck asked tiredly/confusedly as he and Anne were unsure of what they saw and rubbed their eyes as they opened them and gasped fearfully as their drinks caused their mind to hallucinate even further and have them think that Plantar Family were really a 7-feet-tall, humanoid corn stock monster with three giant corns for a head as he has glowing green eyes and a fiery mouth, a leafy collar, long four-fingered-clawed hands, a thin black body, and long four-fingered-clawed hands as it also had a giant leafy tail.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Anne and Dereck screamed in fear while hugging each other as the Corn Monster reared back his head and fired a stream of large green fires out of his three mouths as the flames formed a giant flame circle around the teenage heroes, who stood back to back as they eyed the fire circle warily.

"What is it with this planet and having magical monsters that want to kill you?!" An exasperated Dereck asked Anne, who shrugged as she whimpered in fear at the sight of the fire.

"I don't know, but we gotta take this thing down or else it will burn down the Plantars' Home! Are you with me?" A determined Anne asked as Dereck turned to nod at her firmly.

"Till the end, girlfriend! It's Hero Time!" Dereck exclaimed as he and Anne leaped up into the air, and the Omnitrix Wielders let out a loud battle cry as both their bodies began glowing, and a huge magical blue/brown aura covered their bodies respectively as they briefly got into martial arts poses before a now spiky blue-haired Anne flew towards the Corn Monster and threw a punch at his stomach while a now spiky brown-haired Dereck did a sweet roundhouse kick to one of the monster heads.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Corn Monster roared loudly, not fazed by their attacks at all as his body flared up with green fire, forcing the duo to fly back as they then zoom over to try to punch, kick, or blast him, only for the Corn Monster to let out a loud roar and his body flared up with more and more green flames as the Omnitrix Wielders were send flying back with a couple of pained groans before an idea popped into Anne's head as she turned to her friend.

"Let's go, Dereck!" Anne yelled while flying upwards as Dereck was quick to follow after her.

"Oh, I'm way ahead of you!" Dereck shouted, catching on to his friend's plan as they both flew up high into the air and stood back to back as they got into their martial arts poses and cupped their hands together as they began charging up their magical blue/brown energy.

"GALICK-KA...ME...HA...ME...HA!" Dereck and Anne screamed as they fired duel big beams of blue and brown magical energy that collided against each other in mid-air and whirled around as the Corn Monster gasped in shock at the sight of a huge blue/brown magical energy beam heading towards him and didn't have time to move away as the beam collided against him and a huge explosion occurred as a dust cloud rang out. Panting heavily, Anne and Dereck flew back down to the ground as they eyed the smoke cloud warily, wondering if they were able to kill the monster, only to gasp in shock and horror as they saw the Corn Monster standing in place, unaffected by their attacks as the Corn Monster blinks at this in surprise before grinning as he laughs at the stunned Omnitrix Wielders sinisterly.

"Shit! Our attacks have no effect on him!"

"Well, we can't give up so easily, Anne! Let's blast this motherfucker with everything that we have!"

"Right!" Anne exclaimed as her and Dereck's hands glowed with magical blue/brown energy as they began firing multiple energy blasts at the Corn Monster while letting out loud battle cries as they does so.

"What in the hell is going on here?" A bewildered Sprig asked as he and the others had spent the next five minutes watching Anne and Dereck running around the cornfield while making whooshing and laser noises with spaced-out looks on their faces.

"I think they must've not gotten any sleep yet." Polly theorizes innocently.

"Yeah, that's what is going on." Hop Pop says while frowning stoically as he had quickly figured out that the Human Teenagers were currently high as a Frog right now and crossed his arms as Hop Pop was gearing to have a stern talk with them once the drugs die down.

"Are you fucking serious?! How is this thing still not dead!? We have been blasting this monster with enough energy to destroy the planet three times over!" Dereck screamed in frustration/anger/shock as he and Anne turned to face the Plantar Family while wobbling a bit as they breathe heavily.

"This monster must be immune to magic or something...oh, Dereck, I got it! Let's do the thing that always works! Let's...Go Hero!" Anne exclaimed while pulling out her phone as Dereck nodded, and both of them activated their Omnitrixes as they began circling down through their alien playlist and found the right aliens that they wanted to use as Anne then tossed her phone upwards before she and Dereck grunted as they raised their hands and proceeds to slam down on the core of their devices as dual flashes of green lights covered their bodies.

A flash of green luminescent light travels across the young girl's form as black/purple goo emitted from Anne Boonchuy's Omnitrix arm and crawled up her arm as it reaches her head, and the teenage girl grunted softly as a purple circle appeared from her face was and glowed brightly as the black/purple goo extended to the rest of her body and, once she had fully transformed into her alien form, we see a smirking Upgrade stretching around into multiple shapes before reforming back into her original form as she held out her arms and clenched her fists tightly as Anne began energizing her biomechanical blood and, soon enough, her circle eye started glowing brightly as Upgrade projected a powerful purple plasma blast that strikes the screen and cracks as another flash of green light occurred.

A flash of green luminescent light washed over the young boy's body as Dereck Wyatt floated in the air as he suddenly hugs his arms and legs close to his chest as a huge hexagonal-shaped large light gray turtle shell appeared and swallowed up his body as six big holes appeared on the shell, and they blew a powerful gust of wind that sends the shell flying backwards. After falling down through the air, Dereck had fully transformed into his alien form as Terraspin pulled out his head, flippers, and legs from his shell as he hovered in the air with the help of the holes on his shell that begins projecting multiple streams of air as Terraspin grunted loudly and swung his flipper around as he blasted a wave of air that impacted the readers and cracked the screen as another flash of green light occurred.

Once the flash of green light dies down, we see that Anne has now transformed into a 6-feet-tall, female Galvanic Mechamorph with a humanoid slim hourglass body, a black exterior with purple stripes that travel across her whole body and resemble circuitry, a small purple circle planted right where her face should be as it acts as her eye/mouth and the circle has three purple lines on top of it as it resembles eyelashes, a big jumble of purple/black power cords attached to her head as they act as her hair and were covered with leaves and twigs, four-fingered large arms, her front torso was colored purple with black circuitry, large stump-like feet, and has the Omnitrix symbol planted on her chest. Her name is-

"Upgrade!" The now named Upgrade shouted while speaking out of her eye-circle with a robotic version of Anne's voice as Upgrade grunted and leaped up into the air as she merged with her airborne phone, covering it with purple/black goo as it then expanded and changed in shape as Anne crashed landed on the floor and stood up stoically as the stunned Plantar Family saw that Upgrade had...well, upgraded her phone to be about five-feet-tall with four giant spider-like appendages attached to each side as the screen had a glowing purple circle.

Once the flash of green light dies down, we see that Dereck has now transformed into an 8-feet-tall male Geochelone Aerio as he resembles a humanoid giant turtle-like alien with a small head, pupilless green eyes with thick black stripes, two holes to act as his nose, an 'm'-shaped mouth with no teeth, a huge hexagonal-shaped large light gray turtle shell that has six holes planted on it, large flipper-like arms with the tips of his arms having three holes each which can extend finger-like claws to use as fingers, light green skin, brown spots on his upper legs/toes/shoulders, short stumpy three-toed-clawed legs and has the Omnitrix symbol located on his chest. His name is-

"Terraspin!" The now named Terraspin screamed with a windy deep drowsy voice as he retracted his head into his shell and opened a small hatch for him to be able to see as Dereck then jumped up and twisted himself around in mid-air and his flippers become triangular with his legs combining into a similar shape as Terraspin started rotating his limbs at high speeds and hovered in the air.

"Uh oh..." Sprig mumbled as the Omnitrix Wielders loomed over them and glared down at them threateningly as the Plantar Family screamed in fear.

"Scatter! Scatter!" Hop Pop screamed as his Grandchildren did as he told and separated to run into the cornfield in opposite directions as Upgrade chases after Hop Pop and Polly while Terraspin flew after Sprig as the hallucinated heroes think that the Corn Monster had divided themselves into two and ran away to fight them separately, but neither Anne nor Dereck were afraid to fight them head-on as they were pretty confident that they could defeat the two Corn Monsters on their own.

"In hindsight, maybe I should've stayed at home!" A panicking Polly shouted while still being carried in her Grandfather's arms as a panting Hop Pop runs through the cornfields with Upgrade hot in their trails as she fired multiple purple plasma blasts at them, forcing the Old Frog to run in a zigzag formation as Anne wasn't deterred by this and simply leaped over to land in front of them as she blasted more purple plasma blasts at the Froggy Duo.

"You know, I'm thinking the same, Polly!" A nervous Hop Pop screams while leaping down onto the ground to avoid the lethal energy blasts as he rolled across the floor before jumping back on his feet as he runs off with Upgrade chasing after them as she cuts down the annoying corn stock that was blocking her path.

"This was a horrible plan!" Sprig screamed comically with his hands flailing around as Terraspin flies after him while using his rapidly rotating limbs to cut through the corn stocks that were placed in front of him as Dereck narrowed his eyes at the panicking Corn Monsters and blew a small gust of wind from out of his holes as it impacted against a grunting Sprig and sends him flying upwards as Terraspin followed after him and stops rotating his limbs to briefly smacked the poisonous Frog with one of his flippers. "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Sprig screamed as he was sent flying away and crashed landed near the entrance of the Planter Home as the small Frog boy groaned in pain.

"Sprig!" Hop Pop and Polly screamed worriedly as they saw Dereck blasting Sprig away and sending him crashing near their house as they ran out of the Plantar Cornfield and made their way over to check on their grandson/brother just as the Omnitrix Wielders emerged out of the cornfield as they let out loud battle cries and ran/flew over to the Plantar Family as Terraspin twists himself in mid-air and his shell stays static and suspended in the air as Dereck rotated his limps rapidly again and sends a massive gust of wind that impacted against the trio as the Omnitrix Wielder slammed them into the wall of their house.

"Good job, Terraspin! Now, hold them steady while I charge up my lasers to take out these monstrous corn thieves!" Upgrade shouted while energizing her biomechanical blood as her circle eye started glowing brightly and Anne was about to project a powerful purple plasma blast to completely incinerate the Corn Monsters but then-

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no! Anne, Dereck, it's us! Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly! Don't shoot! I've learned my lesson! I promise! I'll never manipulate people again! Just don't kill us, please!" Sprig shouted, pleading for not only his life but for his family's lives as well with Hop Pop and Polly begging as well as the Omnitrix Wielders paused in their attacking to share confused looks.

"Uh, Dereck? Do these Corn Thieves kinda sound like Sprig and the others to you?"

"Well, now that you mention it, they do," Terraspin says as both he and Anne stared at the Corn Monsters suspiciously before gasping in shock as their alien high has finally died down and the hazy mist covering their brain and senses finally dissipates as they returned back into the normal world and gasped as the alien shape-shifters saw that they were almost close to killing the Plantar Family.

"Oh my gosh! Guys, we're so sorry!" An apologetic Upgrades says while slowly lowering herself down onto the ground and swiftly unmerged from her phone as it returned back into its regular form.

"Yeah, we thought that you were all the Corn Thieves." A guilty Terraspin says while lowering the Plantar Family down on the ground with his aerokinesis as gently as he can as Dereck stopped rotating his limbs, and they returned back into their regular shape as Terraspin popped his head out of his shell and he landed on the ground with a small grunt.

"Are you guys okay?" Upgrade asked worriedly after morphing back into her regular shape as she and Terraspin walked over to the small family.

"Yeah, we're okay, kids. Just a few bruises, is all." Hop Pop says reassuringly while placing Polly on the ground as he and Sprig stood up from the floor as they dusted off their outfits.

"But what happened to you guys? You two were acting so crazy and attacked us!" Sprig exclaimed while spreading out his hands for emphasis as Anne and Dereck hummed in thought.

"N-Not sure, to be honest, it's a little hazy, but I think that I remembered drinking something, and it made me go cuckoo for coco puffs," Upgrade says while groaning a bit as she rubbed her head to soothe her headache.

"Hey, yeah, I remember that. Anne and I created these special energy drinks to help us stay awake all night, but I guess we didn't factor in that these drinks are only edible to drink by aliens and not humans, and made us suffer through these crazy hallucinations." Terraspin explained.

"Yeah, and I guess that when we transformed into Upgrade and Terraspin, the effects of the drinks must've worn off quicker than expected and cleared up our heads." Upgrade theorize as Terraspin nodded before raising an imaginary eyebrow as he turned to the trio.

"But, wait, I'm confused. Why are all of you awake this late at night? And why are you all at the cornfield?"

"And why are you wearing that get-up, Sprig? Not that I'm complaining, you look badass."

"Oh, thanks." Sprig says while smiling at Anne's compliment as an annoyed Polly elbows him on the gut and the pink-skinned Frog yelps in slight pain before looking down remorsefully as he sighs heavily. "W-Well, the reason that I'm here is...well...I was the one who stole the corn stock."

"What?!/What!?" Upgrade and Terraspin exclaimed in surprise as Sprig nodded nervously.

"Yeah, you see, the reason why I stole the corn stock is because you guys have been arguing a lot lately these past few days, and I was starting to get worried since I don't want my two best friends to break off their relationship, so I came up with this stupid plan to have you think that someone stole Hop Pop's 'prized winning' corns and do a stakeout with each other where you guys will make up and become friends again. When I saw you two fighting again, however, I tried to steal the corn right under your noses so that you will have to do another stakeout again, but Hop Pop and Polly came here to stop, and that's when you guys appeared and started attacking us." Sprig explained as Upgrade and Terraspin were shocked by what he said as they then recovered quickly and gave Sprig stern looks as the little Frog boy sees this and looks down guiltily as he sighs heavily. "Now, that you know what I did, you two would probably stop being friends with me and argue again, huh?" Sprig asked sadly while dropping down onto the ground as the Omnitrix Wielders' features soften, and they gave their friend a sympathetic look as they walked over to sit down beside him.

"Oh, Sprig, while we are a bit angry that you stole Hop Pop's corn stocks, we understand why you did it."

"You were just simply looking out for us, and we really appreciate it, but you didn't have to come with this big scheme to help us," Terraspin says as Upgrade nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, if our arguing really did upset you that much, you could've just talked with us, you know? Besides, even if Dereck and I were arguing a lot lately, it doesn't mean that we will stop being friends."

"R-Really?" A surprised, hopeful Sprig asked as the Teenage Heroes nodded.

"Of course, Sprig, even if Anne and I are close friends, we still have the tendency to argue about stupid stuff every now and again, and ever since we started sleeping in the same room with each other, things got a little heated, but there's no harm done."

"Dereck and I may get at each other's throats every once in a while, but we will always have each other's backs and continue being friends, no matter what. That I can promise you." Upgrade says firmly/reassuringly as Sprig smiled brightly and cheered.

"Oh, man, what a relief." Sprig says while wiping his forehead as the Omnitrix Wielders smiled down at him before Anne reaches down to place her large hand on Sprig's head as she rubs it.

"Now, Sprig, I want you to know that there will be times that Dereck and I will not see eye to eye and argue, but that's normal. Even friends scream and get angry at each other sometimes, but just know that whatever problems that we have, Dereck and I will be able to fix it ourselves or, if it gets out of hand, you can talk to us about it. How about that?"

"Cool, I like that and got it." Sprig says before turning to his Grandfather and Baby Sister as he smiled at them cheerfully. "Huh, I guess the arguing wasn't as serious as I thought, guys. Who knew that all I have to do is to leave Anne and Dereck alone?"

"Yeah, I wonder why no one has told you that," Polly says sarcastically as Hop Pop narrowed his eyes at Sprig.

"You do realize that you're grounded for a week for destroying my corn stock and for meddling in Anne and Derck's relationship, right?" Hop Pop says rhetorically as Sprig pouted sadly.

"Awww, nuts...oh, well, at least I saw Anne and Dereck kiss each other. How was that, by the way?" Sprig asked the Shape-Shifting Heroes excitedly as they stared at him in surprise.

"W-What?! What are you talking about!? Dereck and I didn't k-kiss!" Upgrade yelled with dual purple tints appearing on her cheeks as if she was blushing.

"Y-Yeah, I mean, I would've remembered if we did that," Terraspin says with his cheeks blushing dark green as Sprig stared at both of them in disbelief/shock.

"What?! But I saw you two kiss during the Stakeout through my telescope in my room!"

"Okay, first off creepy, second, all that Dereck and I did was drink our horrible energy drinks and had a serious talk with each other. The last thing that I remembered was me leaning my head against Dereck's shoulder, but that's about it." Upgrade says with a shrug as both she and Dereck had suffered short-term memory loss due to the hallucinations they have suffered as our young heroes forgot that they shared a kiss ;)

"Yeah, maybe you thought we were kissing because we were sitting close to each other, but we didn't kiss, Sprig. I can assure you of that." Terraspin says as Sprig stared at his friends with his right eye twitching widely as his jaw dropped in pure shock and frustration.

"But...but...but...but..." Sprig repeated before trailing off as his body was hit with extreme exhaustion, and Sprig closed his eyes with a moan as he fell onto the floor, knocked out.

"Oh, Sprig's taking a nap. That sounds like a good idea. I want to take one too since I'm feeling a bit tired as well." Upgrade says while yawning as she closed her eye circle and fell down on the ground as Anne begins sleeping.

"Yeah, same," Terraspin says while closing his eyes as he drops down to the ground and begins snoring as he fell asleep.

"Welp, these three are knocked out. Want to help me lug these idiots back into the house?" Hop Pop asked Polly, who shrugged as she nodded.

"Sure, but first, I'm parched," Polly says while jumping over to grab Anne and Dereck's Energy Drinks that were dropped onto the ground near them.

"Polly, wait, no!" Hop Pop screamed while holding out his hand as Polly ignored her Grandfather's worried scream and begins chugging down both drinks at the same time as the Baby Tadpole smacks her lips...and immediately went spaced out as she got high off the alien drug drinks.

"All right, Boulder-Tron, you ready to roll?" Polly asked while turning to face a giant humanoid rock monster as he nodded.

"Always, my queen," Boulder-Tron says as Polly nodded in satisfaction and leaped onto his shoulder as Boulder-Tron flew up into the air and they went into space as they started having all kinds of amazing cosmic adventures.

"Ugh, I'm getting too old for this." Hop Pop says with a deadpan glare as he watched his Granddaughter hopping around while making whooshing and laser noises as he walks over to grab her and was about to make his way into his home but stopped as Hop Pop noticed that Upgrade was cuddling against Terraspin, who had his giant flippers wrapped around her waist as they snored in unison. "But I'm not too old for that." Hop Pop says with a warm smile as he shakes his head at the lovebirds before taking a grunting Polly into his home as he eventually did the same with a sleeping Sprig, Anne and Dereck.
