Boston Museum
A large crowd had gathered in the lecture hall of the museum of local, national and international press, staff members and visitors just hoping for a look at the visiting Princess.
"I want to personally thank all the amazing individuals that worked together to return everything back safe. Thank you to the museum team that worked tearlessly to bring the exhibition back better than ever before," Ada spoke to mass of microphones. "The people of Razkavia and my family thank you all. It was not the museum's fault and as a thank you to the people of Boston and the Museum, it is my great pleasure state that my dear friend the Duchess of Hanover, who sadly cannot be here today, has gifted to the museum the recently rediscovered Necklace of the Innocence," there was a long round of appease. Ada looked over at the back of the room where the Leverage team were stood who smiled at her.
She looked around the room and saw the team out of the corner of her eye. She turned to the Museum Director. "Doctor Robertson, it has been a very interesting visit. Thank you. You are a true friend of Razkavia, and we invite you and your family on a well-earned holiday and the invitation is open to any other members of staff," Doctor Robertson looked at the young princess in awe. "To the FBI agents Taggert and McSweeten," some people around them pushed the pair forward. "It is my understanding that it was your hard work and investigative skill that the case was wrapped up so quickly," she smiled at them. "And for this," she nodded to Oda, who stepped forward with two open medal boxes. "I have been asked by my brother the King to award you the highest law enforcement award that my people award. The honour of St Arnulf."
"Thank you," the two agents tried to not look nervous has the medals were pinned to their chests. The audience cheered the agents. Mcsweeten looked out to the audience and smiled when he saw agent Hagen who nodded her support for him. He was stocked when she had turned at the coffee shop that he always got his morning coffee the morning before the theft and told him the plan.
She had told him that she was to go undercover as the master thief "Parker" and that her partner would send over the details to arrest Martel. Who she had explained was a Mastermind behind multiple crimes.
And now he was stood on stage with a beautiful foreign Princess who had helped the FBI take down an international criminal. The biggest fish he and Taggert had ever caught. It was all too much.
"Thank you for the kind words, your highness," Doctor Robertson said. "Does anyone have any questions?"
The press erupted with questions. Ada spent roughly an hour answering questions.
"We should go," Nate said to the team.
"I'm gonna stay," Eliot said he only had eyes for Ada.
"We will see you later," Sophie said as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
The team left the hall.
"Want to take bets on how long she will be away?" Hardison joked as the team stepped out of museum.
