The Fairy Godparents Job (s2: ep4)

Eliot sat in his office his head in his hands. He was not sure how to move forward with his part in the con. It was going to be harder than he thought. It did not help that he wanted to punch a child. He could not do that. Nevertheless, he wanted to. Who called their child Skyler?

He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He smiled when Ada's name flashed up on the screen. He flipped it up to open.

"Your Highness," He asked in a cheerful voice.

"Mr Spencer," Ada joked. She sat on her bed, in the Summer Palace, painting her toes wrapped in a towel with one of her family's dogs at her side, her mobile phone on speakerphone. "Are you on a case?" She then laughed as the large dog pushed in to get closer to her. "Stop it, Abbie."

Eliot could hear the dog's wine and Ada's laughter. "We are currently running the Fairy Godparent job on the "Mark's" stepson," Eliot explained. "I am playing Gym teacher to a bunch of rich brats."

"You sound like you are not enjoying it," Ada asked as she put the lid back on her nail polish. "Did you hit a student?" She asked half joking.

"I have not hit a student," he left out the 'yet' part.

"Eliot remember to breathe," Ada said in a calming voice.

"I am breathing, my heart," Eliot took a large breath.

"I am so bored," Ada said in a little girl's voice Eliot laughed at her. "I am. I have been in meetings all day. So, I need my boyfriend to entertain me."

"So, I am your boyfriend now?" Eliot asked in shock.

"Yes, you are," Ada said.

"So, you are my girlfriend?" Eliot asked. "I hate making Parker correct," he said as a joke. "When we have children, we are never going to name them Widmark or Skyler. Promise me."

"Widmark and Skyler are not a name that you hear anymore," Ada said before catching what he had said. "When did we decide that we were going to have children?"

Eliot growled at himself and placed his hands back into his hands.

"Eliot, I'm teasing you," Ada giggled. "I would love to have your future children. But we would have to be married first," Eliot sighed. "What happened?"

He described the fencing lesson. He described how much of an egregious disaster it had been.

"Eliot you are a great teacher. I know you are," Ada said as she pictured him when he taught her to throw a punch and kick correctly.

"Ada these children are something else," Eliot said. "It's like a classroom of rich spoilt Hardison's."

"Your girlfriend is a Princess, Mate," Ada interrupted.

"Yeah, I know but you are normal," Eliot replied.

"I was those children. They are just children. Yes, their parents have money and they have more than most, but they are just children," Ada explained. "We can be bratty but that is because we do not have people to ground us."

"But how?"

"Eliot teaches them the correct way to fight," Ada said. "That it is about defence and protection. You gave Hardison a chance and he annoys you. You gave Parker a chance and you think she is crazy sometimes," she paused. "And you gave me a chance. You are friends with or friendly to members of a European Royal Family."

The bell screamed out for the next period.

"I have to go and get ready for the next bunch of brats," Eliot said standing up and looking out at the corridor as students poured out of classrooms. There was a small pack of young pre-teen girls marching towards the gym.

"I would not call them brats in front of them," Ada said. "Remember to teach what you like. I believe in you."

"Talk to you later," Eliot said. "Honey, please take rests and your meds."

"I will," Ada said. "Call me as soon as you get home. I want to know what is going on."

"Talk later," Eliot and Ada said goodbye ending the call from both ends.

Eliot jumped as a wet hand touched his arm.

"Sir, have you got a girlfriend?" a young preteen girl asked. She looked around eleven, wore her hair in a high ponytail and had braces. He growled in annoyance, rolled his eyes and then breathed deeply.

The Three Days of Hunter Job (s2: ep5)

The team were back at headquarters after the job. Eliot wore his hair back with a headband, and a blue blue apron and had a tea towel across one shoulder. He, Hardison and Nate were teasing Parker when the screens started to ring. Ada's photo and number flashing on the screen.

Hardison smiled, picked up the remote and answered the call. Ada sat in her room in front of her computer at her desk and her video stream appeared on the screen. She was wearing no makeup, and her hair was down.

"Hi guys," Ada started seeing the team appear on her screen.

"Hi Ada," Sophie said as she sat on the sofa.

"I am not interrupting, am I?" Ada asked.

"No, no," Sophie said.

"Ada is the Loch Ness monster real?" Parker asked. "Eliot and Hardison will not tell me."

"Parker it is not real. There is no dinosaur-like creature in a Loch in Scotland," Ada explained. "When I was younger my Great - Granny, who grew up around the Loch told me about the true story. Now she was in her last years. However, she said that she and her friends were walking down one of the beaches around the Loch one late summer's day and they saw a bear rise from the water. The bear was very hairy. The girls watched him walk out of the water and turn into a human man. And they got a look at his full front," Ada giggled as she remembered her Great–granny, a small Scottish Lady who had a small white dog called Nessie. They would sit on her bed, eat cupcakes and speak in Scottish Gaelic. Ada loved to learn languages and now spoke seven languages: German, English, French, Italian, Scottish Gaelic (with some Scots), Japanese and Vulcan. She also could read several other languages.

The Top Hat Job (s2: ep6)

The Summer Palace was a grand palace and a favourite of Ada's family. There was a gothic and rococo-style palace.

Ada knocked on a large oak door of her brother's office. "Come in," She opened the door and stepped into the large light office. It always reminded her of a slightly tidier version of a University Professor's staff office. Three walls of the room were floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcases with large gothic-style windows on the wall. The office had been her father's and passed down to her brother. He sat behind the large walnut wooden desk reading a booklet. Ada curtsied. He looked up and smiled. "Sis."

"I need to talk so please do not stop me, Bertram," Ada started. "I need to go back to the States I can help," They both knew who they were talking about. "I am not doing anything here. I feel like I am stuck. I am not in my condition. I am bored. What the team does is interesting, and I felt alive."

"Ada," Bertram stopped her. "I know. I can see that you were not happy. As your King and brother, I need to know that you are safe."

"I will be safe," Ada whispered.

Bertram reached down and opened one of the drawers. He smiled and handed Ada a cream envelope.

"Open it," Bertram nodded at the envelope. Ada carefully opened the envelope and produced first-class tickets to Boston, USA. Ada stood in stock. "You fly out next week if you want to."

"Danke, Danke," Ada shouted and ran around the desk and hugged Bertram.

(Author Note: The Loch Ness story is based on my own Great Granny who was from the famous loch, and it is a story that she told me when I was a very young child. I have some first memories of her and the old people's home she was living in. I was four or five when she passed away. I am told that as a toddler I would always leave the home with a strong highland accent mixed with my normal Home Countries accent. Moreover, I still will slip into the accent when talking to someone who is Scottish, and I cannot help it.)
