Gina said goodbye to Ricky and Mr.Bowen and headed into Ashlyn's (her) house, "hey roomie I'm sorry about your flight" Gina hugged her friend "no worries I actually ran into Ricky and he gave me a ride home so" Ashlyn gave her a look she couldn't quite read, E.j popped up from behind Ashlyn "hey Gi!" Gina winced, only Ricky could call her Gi but she didn't want to seem rude "hey" Ashlyn gave her that look again, "I can give you a ride to the airport tomorrow!" He said "sure" Ashlyn put a hand in her shoulder "you ok?" Gina nodded "yeah I just have been spending an entire day at the airport I'm super tired, I'm gonna head to bed" Ashlyn nodded.
As soon as she put her stuff down Gina flopped down on the bed and groaned, god why is she letting Ricky in again he hurt her really hurt her and he didn't even apologize! *knock knock knock* "who is it" Gina didn't want to talk to E.j he would just flirt with her, "Ashlyn" "come on in" Ashlyn walked in and sat on her bed "ok what really is wrong" Gina sighed knowing she can't lie to her "Ricky" "just forget about him" "I can't" Ashlyn laid down beside her "why he hurt you" "because I love him" Ashlyn sat up eyes wide "LOVE!" Gina shushed her "say it louder I don't think china heard you" "ok ok sorry but this is big Gina I mean big" Gina groaned "he wants to be friends again" Ashlyn looked at her with pity god she hated when people pitied her, "do you want that" Gina did she hated not talking with Ricky "I don't know! He said we can talk when I get back so we will see" Ashlyn nodded slowly "you know him and Nini broke up right" "yeah he told me, he was hesitant because I did yell at him for talking about Nini with me" Ashlyn still not knowing the whole situation with Ricky was shocked "so you have talked about your feelings with him?" Gina sighed "not in so many words but I have yelled at him because of said feelings. Ash I will tell you more but I seriously need to sleep my flight is early tomorrow" Ashlyn stood up saying "ok ok. Goodnight." That night Gina fell asleep thinking of Ricky and dreamed of a world where he loved her little did she know that was real.
Ricky was waiting all week to talk to Gina practicing what he was gonna say, he wasn't really sleeping well because his mind was filled with worry's about all of this, remember what mom said he thought take it slow. It was time to pick up Gina, he was at the gate waiting for her, when she appeared Ricky was once again admiring her beauty, I mean seriously how could one person be so beautiful! "Hey Gi" he waved at her and when she saw him she smiled having been waiting all week for this, she walked (more like jogged) over to him and hugged him both holding on a little longer than friends would, "how was seeing your mom?" Gina sighed "odd, I forgot how much she needs everything to be perfect, but other than that it was fun" Ricky knew the pressure Gina's mom put on her but knew not to bring it up as it was a sensitive subject. Once they were in the car Gina could feel Ricky overthinking, "so you said we should talk" he seemed to realize he actually had to do this "yeah yeah" he took a deep breath "I'm sorry for everything I know it will not forgive everything I did but I am so sorry and I will do everything in my power to make it up to you" he said finally looking at her at the last part, her eyes were watery this is all she wanted to hear, "I forgive you" he looked shocked "really?" She laughed a little "yeah I do! How could I not forgive this cute little face" oh good she was back to flirting that was gonna make it harder to wait a little before confessing "well I am quite cute" he flirted back "you know my mom gave me the cookie recipe" the cookie recipe she made for him all those months ago "yes! We are so making them" Gina smiled at his dopey grin "help me unpack and I'll let you help" she knew it was a bad idea to let Ricky Bowen near an oven but he looked so cute how could she not "deal." They sang songs on the way home and laughed it felt like old times, little did they know their show was in jeopardy.
they walked through Gina's (Ashlyn's) door giggling "I was so scared" Gina kept giggling "hey Carlos can be scary" Ashlyn practically bounced up to them a knowing look on her face "hey guys!" She said popping their bubble "hey Ash" Gina and her hugged having missed each other "hey how was Louisiana?" "Humid" the girls laughed walking away leaving Ricky with the bags "I'll get your bags Gi" he said sarcastically and she turned and looked at him with a flirty look "you want those cookies right?" He sighed jokingly and followed her and Ashlyn upstairs, the girls talked while he and Gina unpacked and thanked headed downstairs, she turned to him a wide grin on her face and she was glowing, she's so pretty he thought "ready!" He put his hand up for a high five which she gave as he said "as I'll ever be".
