"Well THAT sucks," Misato noted, drinking a beer.
"The BBC has announced they're putting Top Gear on hold," Maya Ibuki read.
"The three new hosts never DID manage to click with audiences," Ritsuko noted.
"Who were they again?" Misato finished her drink.
"Exactly," Ritsuko nodded.
"And the 'last' Grand Tour season just finished," Maya added.

"HEY BBC! WE'RE READY TO FILL IN AS NEEDED!" Misato offered.
"I heard a rumor they're looking fot younger hosts," Ritsuko noted.
"... you don't mean?" Maya worried.

A darken stage, then a young man was illuminated, "I'm Shinji Ikari."
"I'm Asuka Langley, baka."
"And I'm Rei Ayanami."
"AND WE ARE TOP GEAR," all three chorused.
"OH HELL NO!" Misato roared.

Notes: Yup, BBC has announced they're ending Top Gear, at least for now. And it looks like Grant Tour is ending too, though I doubt THAT will last.
Now if BBC hadn't been so stupid as to fire Clarkson, they wouldn't be in this mess. Anyway...
