Chapter 8
EPOV
Once we were in our room, we just sat and planned on we wanted to go about this visit because neither of us really expected to stay. I'm happy for Marcus though because now the times will be changed but we may still have to pretend that Didyme is dead and Marcus has to act like a shadow of himself.
Vision:
With the Cullens and we were all conversing when Didyme finally made her appearance and everyone was shocked besides Char and I.
"Ahhhh, that's right you guys don't know how my darling sister is alive". Aro said with an unnerving amount of excitement. Carlisle spoke up,
"That would be a wonderful story to hear but I also want to know why Bella is here with this man and a vampire at that." Char growled at him for referring to me as my fake name and I put my hand on his arm to calm him down.
End Vision
I looked over at Char,
"We should warn the brothers that it's prudent that Didyme stays a secret because it could effect the future I just saw if they announce she is alive, it may have effects on the future we have yet to know about." I said to him,
"That would be wise my love" with that we quickly went to the throne room just to realize they aren't there. I saw Jane standing in the room so I asked her where they could be,
"Master Aro is in his study, Master Cauis is with his Mate and so is Master Marcus."
"Thank you so much Jane" with that I followed Aro's scent to his office and knocked on his door.
"Enter" he said. We walked in and he looked up from his paperwork,
"Ahhh, what do I owe for this surprise?" Aro asked.
"I feel a warning needs to be said now that Didyme is back, keep her a secret and Marcus has to act like a shell of himself. I know it maybe hard to do so but I have no idea what effects it could have on the future if she is revealed too soon." I said. Aro looked grave,
"I'll let the others know but I can't keep her locked away forever" he said.
"I completely understand, why don't she come back with us and whenever it's safe she can come and visit or Marcus can visit." I said in compromise. Then Char piped in,
"This might be the best solution because then she's not truly locked up and she can still see Marcus whenever time permits, if anything we can pass her off as a long lost cousin of mine." I smiled at him and that's when Marcus, Didyme, and Cauis came in.
"Aro, if my being back could cause issues I'd rather go to Farewell with them that way there's a very small chance of me being discovered as alive." Marcus pulled her closer at this announcement but I could tell he is agreeing with the conversation.
"I don't want to loose you again il mio cuore" Didyme looked at him and smiled,
"You won't loose me again and the best way to assure this is that I go with Char and Ella. We will be able to see each other when time permits, we have eternity." He looked resigned at what she said and reluctantly agreed before kissing her temple.
"When would you guys be leaving?" Cauis asked.
"Not for a couple of days, I wouldn't want to ruin Marcus and Didyme's reunion but If for whatever reason we have to leave before then I'd yell." I said to them. Both Marcus and Didyme gave me a grateful smile and left, Cauis, Aro, Char, and I stayed to talk about our alliance and how we would go about it. After a while it was time to adjur so Char and I could spend time with one another and hunt before the trip back home happens.
Another chapter down, let me know how you liked it and I'm aware it's a very slow build up but I'm thinking of skipping so many years within the next chapter because not going to lie it's a little boring but give me some ideas of what you'd like to see and I can't promise i'd use the ideas but maybe it'll help move this story along to present day.
