Hello, everyone! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the fifth chapter of Sonic Forces 2: Eggman's Revenge! In this chapter, Sonic is kidnapped by the Deadly Six, and the mad scientist, Dr. Starline The Platypus, with Starline using a DNA rewriting device to turn Sonic into a Zeti. Now, it's up to Sonic's friends to save Sonic, and destroy the DNA rewriter before Starline and the Deadly Six turn the entire population of Mobius into Zeti! Will the Freedom Fighters be able to save their friend? Get ready to find out in this newest chapter of SONIC FORCES 2: EGGMAN'S REVENGE!

Chapter 5: The Deadly…Seven!?
It shows Sonic speeding throughout the Green Hill Zone, where we see several Eggman Robots. He sent several Eggman Robots flying. When he arrived, he saw the Deadly Six causing havoc on the city of Mobotropolis.
"Not on my watch!" said Sonic, as he then sped into action. He then spun-dash Zazz square in the gut, knocking the wind out of him, and he then heel-dropped on Zomom's head, knocking him out. He then spundash into Zavok, who then blocked his attack, and smashed him into the ground.
"We have what we needed." said Zavok, as he then opened a ring portal to the Lost Hex. However, Zazz was nailed with a tracking beacon by a Mobian hedgehog with black fur and odd eyes. This was Taranis The Hedgehog, the leader of a group of bounty hunters and heroes-for-hire called Team Enforcer.
"I have Zazz marked, guys." said Taranis in a wrist-communicator, sounding like Galen Marek, AKA Starkiller. He was holding some wanted posters of the Deadly Six.

Later, it shows Sonic handcuffed to a table, where he sees a Mobian duck-billed platypus. This was Doctor Starline, a mad scientist who wanted to rule the world as Eggman's superior replacement. He brainwashed two Mobians and augmented them with superpowers, turning them into the cyborgs, Surge The Tenrec and Kitsunami The Octopus.
"What're you doing here, Star-Lame?" said Sonic. He was then jabbed in the neck by a taser.
"Quiet. You're my latest test subject." said Starline, sounding similar to Miles Edgeworth crossed with Kishio Arima. "What you see here is a device that can rewrite an organism's DNA. And you're going to be its first test subject."
"Not a chance! I'm staying as a Mobian hedgehog, no matter what!" said Sonic, scowling.
"You really don't have a say in this matter, to be frank." said Starline, as he then blasted Sonic with the machine, and turned him into a Zeti.

"Sonic's been kidnapped!?" said Amy, worried for her lover's safety
"By the Deadly Six, to be exact." said Rasna, a Mobian Indian cobra with green scales and yellow eyes. "And they've got Starline working for them."
"Crap." said Silver, shocked by this news.
"We have wanted posters for both the Deadly Six, and Starline, for 600'000 dollars." said a voice similar to Glenn Jacobs, AKA Kane, as Scar the Komodo Dragon, the muscle of Team Enforcer, explained "And both the church and the orphanage really need that money."
"We'll help." said Tails. Even Trevor, Alex, Noah, Grayson, Brad, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Dow, Chance, Bonnie, and Cyo arrived, as well as Knuckles and Amy
"Knuckles." said Scar, scowling at the red echidna
"Scar." said Knuckles, scowling back at Scar. Due to the long-standing feud between the Echidna Tribe and the Komodo Dragon Tribe, Knuckles and Scar have been known for butting heads with one-another.
'Oh lord.' Amy groaned in her head, facepalming.

The gang then arrived onto the Lost Hex, where they looked to see Zazz waiting for them. "So, you washouts are here." said Zazz, as he then took out a chainsaw via hammerspace. "It won't matter much, considering the fact you're gonna die!" he lunged at them, only for Chance to blast Zazz with a freeze ray. Zazz attempted to use his technopathy on the cyborg tiger, but to no effect. "WHAT THE HELL!?"
"I'm Zeti-proof, bub." said Chance, smirking. He then socked Zazz square in the face, knocking out several of the crazy Zeti's teeth, and knocking Zazz out cold.
Suddenly, Zavok arrived, alongside Zeena, Zomom, Zik, Zor, and a now Zeti Sonic.
"Meet our newest addition, Zonic." said Zavok, sneering. "Zonic, kill them all."
"With pleasure." said Zonic, as he lunged at the group. Shadow took out a Glock, and pistol-whipped Zonic on the head hard enough to knock him out.
"You're all under arrest." said Shadow, pointing the Glock at the Zeti. "Either you come along willingly, or we'll drag you back to Mobius in handcuffs to stand trial."
"Or else, what?" said Zavok. Suddenly, Shadow then pulled the trigger on his Glock, shooting Zavok's right eye out.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Zavok screamed, clutching a bleeding eye socket. Zomom leapt down, and charged at the heroes, but Brad manifested his psychic energy sword, and stabbed it through the obese Zeti's head. Zomom then collapsed to the ground.
"I didn't kill you, fatso." said Brad, glaring at Zomom, whose eyes were glossed over, with foam oozing from his mouth "But, what I did do, is that I simply short-circuited your brain, and put you out of commission."

Starline was heading to his laboratory in the Lost Hex, until he was suddenly cornered by a Mobian diamondback rattlesnake with odd-eyes, three scratch-like scars on his left eye, and a mechanical tail with a machine gun tail-rattle. This was Randy Rattlesnake, one of the greatest marksmen on Mobius.
"Where do ya think y'all are goin'?" said Randy, sounding like John Marston from Red Dead Redemption.
"To unleash a larger version of my DNA re-writing machine, and turn the entire population of Mobius into Zeti," said Starline, smirking.
"Never gonna happen, bub." said Randy, glaring at Starline. "We're bringing you in either in handcuffs or a gurney. Same goes for the Deadly Six."
"Really now?" said Starline, glancing at Randy. "I'll have you know that I am the intellectually superior Mobian here. Far superior to even that two-tailed freak of nature, Tails."
"Rookie mistake." said Randy, as he then socked Starline in the face, and grabbed the DNA rewriting device. 'He stole the technology to make this from Eggman's lab.' he thought.

Knuckles was facing off against Zonic, who was scowling at the red Echidna. "What can you do, you miserable red nobody!?" said Zonic.
"THIS!" said Knuckles, as he focused Chaos Energy into his fist, and smashed it into Zonic's jaw. Zonic then got to his feet, as Randy arrived with the DNA rewriting device.
"Thanks." said Tails, as he then reprogrammed it, and blasted Sonic with the device, turning him back to normal.
"NO! NO NO NO NO!" Zavok ranted, angrily. "We were this close to victory! You hero types are all the same! You claim to save the world, but all you do is take people's hope away!" a menacing scowl spread across the Zeti's face. "Now, I'll take yours, along with your lives." Zavok then grabbed a ray-gun on Starline's person, but then suddenly…Sonic reacted faster, and broke Zavok's entire right arm with a single attack.
(BGM: "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace)
Zavok screamed in pain, clutching his destroyed limb. The others turned to see that Sonic was enveloped in a dark aura, and his body had darkened, with featureless eyes. This was Dark Sonic.
"If you mess with my friends, or my planet, then you're messing with me." said Dark Sonic. The fact that Sonic was turned against his own friends had pushed Sonic past the brink of rage.
"Don't stand there, you stupid idiots! DESTROY THEM!" said Zavok. Zazz then rushed Dark Sonic, only for the Hedgehog to crack Zazz in the jaw hard enough to dislocate it. Zavok then threw a punch at Dark Sonic with his left arm, but the limb was snapped in Dark Sonic's grip.
"In this form…I hold nothing back towards anyone who so much as dares to harm my friends and loved ones." said Dark Sonic, as he then grabbed Zavok by the throat, and folded him in half, breaking his spine. Zomom had come to, and rushed Dark Sonic, only to have his fist grabbed.
"Please don't break mah arm." Zomom gulped.
"No." said Dark Sonic, as he then crushed Zomom's arm between his knee and elbow, causing a compound fracture with Zomom's arm-bone poking out of his skin. Zomom let out a gut-wrenching scream of pain, as Dark Sonic then knocked him out. He then turned to glare at Zeena
"Start running, before I completely lose all control." said Dark Sonic. Zeena nodded, and made a run for it.
"Oh god…" Starline gasped, he then tried to make a break for it, but Dark Sonic grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him up.
"Give me a reason…and I swear I will." said Dark Sonic, glaring at the mad scientist platypus. "I will turn you, and the Deadly Six, into rotting piles of torn flesh, shattered bones, and spilt blood."
"P…Please…" Starline got out, tears flowing from his eyes. "I'm begging you…have mercy…!"
"Sorry…all out of mercy." said Dark Sonic, as he got ready to snap Starline's neck in his grip.
"Sonic, wait!" said Amy, scared. "This isn't like you! You don't have to do this! You're scaring us!"
Dark Sonic then turned back to normal, and started crying.
"This was my plan, all along!" said Starline, grinning sadistically. "To prove once and for all that even the great Sonic The Hedgehog will have no other options than to become a killer!"
"Your plan failed miserably, Doctor Whackjob." said Rasna, as she then bit Starline, injecting him with her Fear Venom.
(BGM: "Hill Act One" from the OST plays)
Starline then started hallucinating everyone as .EXE versions of themselves, with red eyes that had black sclera, and blood for "tears"
"Wh-what the bloody hell is going on?!" Starline exclaimed, horrified.
"What's the matter, Starline? Scared?" said Rasna, scowling. "I highly recommend pissing yourself. Followed by a course of praying to God."
Starline then hallucinated Rasna unhinging her jaw and opening her face, like what Pennywise did in the 2017 and 2019 film adaptations of Stephen King's IT.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Starline screamed at the top of his lungs. He then tried to get away, only to be knocked out by Scar.
"Let's get these washouts back to Mobius to stand trial," said Taranis, as the gang dragged the Deadly Six and Starline through a Ring Portal back to Mobius.

Later, it shows Sonic in his personal quarters, recovering from the fact that Starline nearly pushed him into taking a person's life. Sonic had trouble sleeping, and refused to have anything to eat or drink, let alone eat any chili-dogs.
"Sonic? There's someone who wants to see you." said Amy. Sonic then looked to see his former lover, Sally. Sally had ended up becoming a little pudgy due to stress, sporting a pot-belly.
"Hiya, Sonic." said Sally, smiling at her old boyfriend.
"Hiya, Sal. Long time no see." said Sonic, smiling a little, and hugging his former lover.
"Yeah…I've seen better days." said Sally, admittedly. "The pressure from trying to be the ideal princess of Knothole Village, and the fact I was forced to retire from the Freedom Fighters caused me to stress-eat, and I've kinda…let myself go a little."
"How come you aren't back at Knothole?" said Sonic, curious.
"I stood up to my father, and as a result…my title as Princess of Knothole was forfeit." said Sally, revealing that she was no longer a princess.
"Damn…" said Sonic, hugging his former lover turned friend.
"I'm back on the Freedom Fighters, for good this time." said Sally, smiling a little. "But, I'm gonna need some help in getting back into shape."
"We'll be more than happy to help." said Sonic, smiling at the former princess of Knothole.

Next time, on Sonic Forces 2: Eggman's Revenge: Sonic and his friends are helping Sally get back into fighting shape. Meanwhile, Eggman has an encounter with Vile, a Reploid working for the former Maverick Buster, Sigma, as well as a whole slew of Maverick Reploids. So, Sonic and his friends team up with the Maverick Hunters, X, Zero and Axl. Will the Freedom Fighters be able to send Sigma's plans for world destruction to the scrap-heap?
