INTRODUCTION
In a reality far removed from both the past and the future, we find ourselves in a world that defies conventional expectations. This world is unlike any era we're familiar with. Here, we enter a realm where extraordinary powers coexist with ordinary beings, each displaying their unique strengths. Our journey takes us beyond the realms of magic and supernatural abilities, delving into the profound impact these powers have on children and the cities and kingdoms scattered across galaxies.
However, not everyone embraces this harmonious coexistence. Jealousy festers in the hearts of some, casting ominous shadows on their minds. These individuals are driven to eliminate those blessed with powers, some of which come from realms beyond our own. Mortals entertain ideas of banishing these gifted beings from traversing different worlds and galaxies.
Yet, the gods intervene, thwarting such irrational notions. It makes sense, after all, for ordinary beings to lead normal lives, free from the influence of magic or supernatural abilities. Some possess these gifts, while others do not. The gods' intervention ignites conflicts, turning peace into war. All living beings become entangled in this turmoil, their motivations ranging from noble to baseless.
In past eras, kingdoms populated by knights, samurais, vikings, pharaohs, spartans, romans, and others celebrated the enlightenment brought by the magic of a new age. However, envy reared its ugly head as some struggled to understand the changes in the new generation, especially among the offspring of kings and queens. This discontent fueled political strife, leading to wars and riots driven by jealousy. The cycle of conflict persisted from one era to the next, except on one world—Earth.
On an ordinary day on Earth, people went about their usual activities. Heroes apprehended villains, upholding justice as agreed upon by nations, or engaged in everyday human tasks like working in office buildings or cooking. However, everything took a dramatic turn when an unexpected portal opened.
News of the portal's appearance spread rapidly, capturing the attention of reporters and even reaching the highest offices, alerting the presidents to the situation. Soldiers were immediately deployed to patrol and stand guard, preparing for whatever might emerge from this enigmatic portal. To their surprise, another portal manifested next to the first one, expanding day by day, appearing on each continent with portals of varying colors.
Until the portal released streams of different lights that spread across various places. Panic engulfed the people as they feared what these strange lights might do, as if they were searching for human hosts. People ran in fear, but they soon realized that these lights were not harmful but rather friendly. Still, not everyone trusted them.
Gradually, the portals disappeared, leaving behind wisps of colorful streams that floated around, each following their own host as if attached to them. People began to chase these wisps, swinging brooms and attempting to hit them, but the wisps skillfully dodged the attacks. Even the police and soldiers fired at them, but their efforts were in vain, until they finally accepted the presence of these mysterious lights.
As the night unfolded, individuals found themselves in an unprecedented situation, as if it were a new chapter in their life's journey. Inside the presidential national building, world leaders engaged in fervent discussions, striving to comprehend the inexplicable phenomenon. Even scientists found themselves stumped, unable to provide an explanation. Each person in the room had wisps attached to them.
This extraordinary situation was broadcast live, yet one president, in a moment of resignation, chose to embrace the wisps' presence. He realized that there was nothing he could do to make them vanish. Then, his Cyan wisp began to glow brilliantly, entering his body. Panic rippled through the room's occupants as they watched in trepidation. However, nothing seemed to happen to the president; he stood there, perfectly composed, surveying his surroundings.
A sudden tingling sensation in his hand seized his attention. He wiggled his fingers, and out of nowhere, an electric beam shot forth, striking the wall and forming ice upon impact. The room's occupants were left aghast, especially when they observed the alteration in the president's eye color. The reporters hastily terminated the live broadcast, but it was too late. People across the globe began to merge with the wisps. Some were eager to do so, while others hesitated, uncertain whether this was an obsession or something entirely different.
It seemed like a dream come true, the ability to wield extraordinary powers brought to life. This fantastical reality was made possible as these wisps, in their entirety, spread across the entire Earth. They brought immense joy to the world, although not everyone shared in this sentiment. The situation had both positive and negative consequences, setting the stage for heroes and villains to emerge. But the true cost and price of this transformation were yet to be unveiled.
Some individuals found themselves imbued with newfound strength, while others remained unaltered and vulnerable. Some communities enjoyed unprecedented peace and harmony, while others grappled with emotions ranging from profound sadness to pure happiness, enduring both pain and love in their own unique ways. Beings from diverse realms, encompassing the realms of heaven and hell, the enigmatic unknown, Yokai, as well as creatures of myths and legends, all began to manifest in the world.
The spectacle was so unbelievable that witnesses struggled to comprehend it. Humans, once living in peaceful obscurity, now wielded powers from obscure origins. Even deities from Olympus and Asgardian, along with gods from far-flung domains, stood astounded. Figures like Odin and Zeus found themselves in a state of disbelief, pondering who was responsible for this transformation and who should bear the consequences. However, they found themselves powerless, unable to discern the source of this extraordinary phenomenon.
As humans continued to relish their lives, a truly extraordinary occurrence unfolded. Gods, including Zeus and his divine entourage, as well as Odin and his fellow deities, began to manifest from the very depths of the Earth. Their emergence was fueled by an insatiable curiosity to comprehend the consequences of this upheaval.
The newfound powers that had arisen left everyone in a state of profound shock and disbelief, especially when they beheld gods walking upon the Earth for the very first time. These divine beings were awash with a tumultuous mix of anger and confusion. They demanded answers from those who had been mysteriously bestowed with these extraordinary abilities.
Caught in a quandary, Zeus emitted a heavy sigh of uncertainty. It became increasingly evident that no one could provide a satisfactory explanation for these unfathomable events. Then, a wisp began to close in on Zeus, and he attempted to swat it away. But, to his astonishment, the wisp began to speak, conveying a dire message warning of grave danger to these people.
According to the wisp, the past and future were colliding, wreaking havoc on the very fabric of the timeline. This disturbance imperiled not only their world but also the realm of the gods. The wisp explained that a malevolent force, known as the Hatred Ones, hungered for power and sought to ascend to godhood. The people on this planet played dual roles as both villains and heroes within the galaxy, and this arrangement granted them permanent powers. However, if the people failed to embrace these roles, the Hatred Ones would ruthlessly conquer their realm, showing neither hesitation nor mercy.
The gods remained uncertain and hesitant, pondering whether they could trust this enigmatic being from another world. The wisp also spoke of the Beast Race, a hybrid species of half-human and half-beast animals from a distant place or galaxy. Fortunately, the wisp employed telepathy to ensure their conversation remained private and hidden from the ears of others. It was clear that a delicate balance between life and death, as well as a fight to the death, was now required to confront this looming threat.
The gods were eager to comprehend more about the Hatred Ones and the genesis of this malevolent force. The wisp began to unfold a vision from their world, revealing how it all had its origins. In their realm, there existed a delicate equilibrium, where happiness was shared among beings, and coexistence thrived between villains and heroes, good and bad.
However, this harmony was abruptly disrupted by a being consumed by jealousy. This individual adamantly refused to align with either side, instead opting to obliterate both heroes and villains, deeming neither faction to be in the right. He remained indifferent to their conflicts and showed no mercy. His motivation was rooted in his own powerlessness; having been born without any abilities, he allowed his anger to consume him.
In his pursuit of power, he conducted a dark ritual, summoning malevolent spirits and entities to merge with him. It became evident that this malevolent being had strong family ties, but his bitterness towards them festered until it became unbearable. Ultimately, he transformed into an embodiment of pure chaos, sowing havoc wherever he went.
Regardless of the authenticity of the gods' existence, their narrative takes on a foreboding tone, seemingly originating from the Hatred One. Nevertheless, the gods chose to place their trust in this enigmatic being, granting humans their own powers. However, a condition was set: if the story proved to be entirely false, the wisp would depart, leaving humans in peace and harmony, without concocted tales in their world again. The gods ceased to be concerned and returned to their realms, while humans prepared to confront the Hatred Ones after overhearing the conversation.
Two years later, events unfolded. A war erupted, spreading chaos across the land. Even devils and angels found it challenging to contend with the Hatred Ones' army. Difficult moments were experienced by all in the ensuing battles. Notably, Olympus and Asgard were invaded by the Hatred Armies, confirming the truth of the wisp's warnings. Many days of fighting ensued, resulting in the loss of loved ones in exchange for the planet's safety. Simultaneously, villains and heroes negotiated alliances, anticipating the possibility of such an event recurring. To compound matters, the Hatred Ones showed no partiality; their intent was to eliminate all. Both heroes and villains had formidable allies, referred to as saviors and havoc-wreakers.
Nations from around the world, including Russia, China, and the USA, formed alliances to combat this impending threat. Their ambitious plan aimed to extend human civilization beyond Earth, reaching as far as Mars and Pluto. This transformation led to the renaming of Earth as GDI (Galaxy Defender Initiator) and NOD (National Operation for Defense). However, a significant challenge loomed—the scarcity of humanity. In response, the gods permitted the presence of enigmatic beings like the Kitsune, Avian, and Dragoon, for reasons known only to them. It was as if they had breathed life into Japanese folklore, hoping these beings would contribute to harmonious coexistence in a world now reshaped.
As generations passed, the gods remained but imposed several rules. Soldiers carried both melee and ranged weapons, balancing combat techniques from the past, dominated by swords, and the future, featuring guns. Some favored a tank-like approach, relying solely on shields and firearms, or other unconventional combat methods.
However, a significant issue arose as everyone acquired powers. The potential inheritance of these powers by the next generation did not occur as frequently as expected. Nevertheless, this did not diminish the love parents had for their children. There was a silver lining. If a family member perished, the wisp that had once hosted them transferred to another family member, maintaining a delicate equilibrium to prevent jealousy. The same principle applied in their world. If someone did not desire these powers and wished for a normal life, the wisp would protect only the host, even if they did not wish to partake in it.
Humanity and other living beings achieved remarkable accomplishments by conquering the nine planets using portals instead of spaceships. These portals served for solar system exploration and defense against potential threats. Notably, this era brought an unexpected benefit: increased lifespans for humans, attributed to the mysterious presence of wisps.
In this ever-evolving world, marked by both times of war and peace, technological advancements and the evolution of various beings' abilities, including humans, progressed to counter the formidable Hatred Ones. This ongoing conflict persisted across eras, with both heroes and villains grappling with the complexities of life.
As time passed, technological advancements continued, leading to increased challenges. Some villains and heroes even ascended to god-like ranks, shifting their focus from traditional confrontations to competing for dominance. This transformation intensified conflicts between heroes and villains, sparking the gods' interest. However, they hesitated to intervene, recognizing the peril of such involvement, as it could potentially lead to the destruction of the solar system. To address the escalating turmoil, the gods devised a complex system known as the Ranks, facilitating battles between clans, squads, and teams, all with the ultimate goal of quelling the chaos.
The Ranks were categorized into three tiers: Kings, Lords, and Gods. Kings served as protectors of their respective planets, patrolling the atmosphere and engaging in battles against adversaries of comparable power. Lords possessed the ability to traverse the Solar System and explore dimensional realms, including Hell and Heaven. Gods, the highest tier, could visit the realms of other deities, engage in interactions with fellow gods, and embark on journeys to distant galaxies. These Ranks proved invaluable for both heroes and villains, fostering collaboration in their pursuit of resolution. Yet, the gods remained uncertain, recognizing that mere words were insufficient to bring about a solution to the ongoing conflict.
The quest for harmony alone couldn't quell the chaos instigated by the Hatred Ones. Resolute action was imperative, rather than awaiting a peaceful resolution. As time marched forward, the galaxies held secrets yet to be unveiled, and uncertainty shrouded the future, whether one resided alone on a planet or within a bustling society.
Main Characters
In this story, the main characters are Lykan and Humphrey. Let me provide you with some information about their weapons, passive abilities, and inherent powers.
Both Lykan and Humphrey possess passive abilities, which have either been granted to them or inherited from their deceased loved ones. However, there's a significant distinction between the two. Lykan hails from the future, while Humphrey is a Beast-Kin from the past. These two characters, originating from different races and backgrounds, unexpectedly find themselves converging across dimensions and through time.
Lykan
Lykan is an exceptionally versatile fighter, effortlessly transitioning between the roles of Fighter, Assassin, and Finisher. His main focus revolves around starting confrontations and managing crowds, relying entirely on his ocular abilities and an ancestral Katana that represents a new chapter in his family's heritage.
Lykan faced challenges in gaining power, but his family never wavered in their love and support. Finally, he received powers from his grandfather, who bequeathed both his eyes and Katana to Lykan before training him until he reached the afterlife.
The Evo Suit, built by Evolution-Life, was designed with the audacious goal of challenging gods or at least keeping up with them. This extraordinary suit harnesses Atomic and Nuclear Energy, providing powerful capabilities while also prioritizing environmental safety by minimizing radiation emissions. Its development spanned about 3543 years, marked by intensive experimentation to master control over its core energy. Eventually, Lykan came to possess this suit in the present era.
Nexus Exodus Eyes: Lykan possesses a unique set of abilities within his eyes, which encompass passive attributes. These abilities grant him the rare capability to discern an enemy's weaknesses, effectively identifying the source of their power. This discernment extends to various aspects, including structures, items, individuals, and other objects. Lykan can effortlessly search and identify these vulnerabilities. Making direct eye contact with Lykan results in an immediate suppression of your powers. The effectiveness of this ability depends on your proximity to Lykan; if you're within its range, your powers will be suppressed. Escaping this ability proves futile. Even if you manage to evade his gaze, a strike from his Katana that draws blood will mark you, rendering you powerless. The decision to reactivate your powers rests entirely at Lykan's discretion.
Moreover, Lykan possesses the remarkable ability to predict his enemies' movements, adeptly avoiding death through near experiences. He can also create illusions through his eyes that affect an opponent's mental state upon eye contact.
However, Lykan's exceptional strength comes with a trade-off. In situations of lower engagement, he assumes the role of a glass cannon, capable of delivering devastating attacks with remarkable speed and agility. Nonetheless, this heightened offensive capability renders him notably vulnerable when subjected to enemy assaults.
Monomolecular Katana: This Katana has a distinctive design. Its blade is straight and colored a deep crimson, with a unique twist – the edge is on the back, and the back is where you find the edge, creating an unconventional look. The back of the blade features a ridge that resembles a zigzagging plateau valley. The guard of the Katana is adorned with a Yin-Yang symbol that takes the form of a dragon. Furthermore, there's a keychain attached to the pommel, featuring the emblem of a clan.
Lykan wields a Katana boasting unique attributes that make it a feared weapon. This Katana can absorb an opponent's attack, modify its speed, pressure, and other attributes before redirecting it back with enhanced damage. This capability results from a lifetime of experience, allowing him to channel it almost endlessly into his attacks.
Another remarkable feature of this Katana is its overwhelming strength, which can affect enemies, inducing paralysis and confusion in others located miles away. One of Lykan's most notable assets in combat is his seemingly infinite capacity to absorb damage and continue fighting relentlessly. Additionally, the Katana can perform a dimension cut from a distance, allowing Lykan to target someone even within a limited line of sight, piercing or chopping them from various angles.
Evo Suit: This suit has a distinctive design, somewhat resembling a warmech. Its head armor stands out with horn-like protrusions, reminiscent of a Spartan helmet but raised in the middle like a rhino's horn. The suit also boasts wings made from crystalline fragments that can change shape. Moreover, it's equipped for underwater operations. It operates as a nano-suit, capable of appearing and disappearing with a simple command from the user via a wristwatch.
This suit comes with a range of inherent abilities and passive features. It incorporates three amplifiers: the Nuclear Amplifier, Repair Amplifier, and Immune Amplifier. The Nuclear Amplifier dynamically enhances the suit's weaponry in response to inflicted damage, adapting seamlessly to various armaments, be it swords or guns. The Repair Amplifier ensures the suit's continuous self-repair over time, maintaining its structural integrity even during battles. The Immune Amplifier shields the suit against gradual damage, such as heat, poison corrosion, or other environmental hazards.
Additionally, the suit integrates Module Units with permanent active components: the Balance Unit, Cloaking Unit, and Nitro Units. The Balance Unit skillfully maintains equilibrium between resistance and damage, adjusting as the suit absorbs Nuclear and Atomic Energy, ensuring its structural integrity under duress. The Cloaking Unit renders the suit immune to magical and technological tracking, preserving the user's secrecy and stealth capabilities. The Nitro Unit can nullify temporal effects and counter enemy speed manipulation, allowing the user to maintain control of the battlefield pace.
Furthermore, the suit possesses a Last Stand feature, granting the wearer immunity to all damage and doubling the effectiveness of passive abilities and modules upon activation. This triggers three additional modules: Fortifier, Anticontrol, and Battle Born. Fortifier temporarily converts energy into protective shields, including Energy, Aegis, Absorber, and Reflector shields. Anticontrol provides immunity to enemy control, protecting against freezing, stunning, or EMP effects. Finally, Battle Born empowers the suit, enhancing its passive abilities to five times their normal potency, granted it hasn't sustained excessive damage.
Humphrey
Humphrey originates from another world, where he plays the roles of a Tank, Fighter, and Slayer. By a twist of fate, he found himself in a different realm, initially living as a Viking and a Beast-Kin. In contrast to many others in this world, Humphrey was born without any special powers, a situation akin to Lykan's.
Humphrey's life took an unexpected turn when scientists miraculously revived him after a gruesome incident that tore him apart. Adapting to this new world and its culture posed numerous challenges, but thanks to the warm embrace of Lykan's family, he found a sense of belonging. Under Lykan's guidance, Humphrey embarked on a journey of training, seeking to unlock a unique form of power rooted solely in physical strength. This power set him apart from others who relied on different abilities.
Intriguingly, even the Asgardian Wolf gods took notice of Humphrey's presence, marking him as a remarkable figure in this new realm.
Tenacity: This extraordinary passive ability in Humphrey's arsenal enables him to absorb enemy attacks and harness their energy to enhance his own abilities. He excels at tapping into energy directed at him, whether it's swift light attacks or powerful heavy blows. This process fuels his inner strength, boosting his resilience, resistance, and regenerative capabilities. As Humphrey accumulates stacks of Tenacity, he becomes increasingly formidable on the battlefield.
When Humphrey's Tenacity reaches its zenith, he can unleash the stored energy within him. This unleashing results in a surge of rapid healing that revitalizes his body and nullifies any lingering damage. Additionally, this activation bolsters his body's resistance, elevating his defensive capabilities and offering heightened protection against enemy assaults. With each additional stack, his regenerative abilities reach astounding levels, enabling him to endure and recover rapidly from even the most grueling encounters.
Thanks to his profound connection with Tenacity, Humphrey gains the unique ability to convert a portion of the damage inflicted upon him into increased physical and magical defense. This transformation fortifies his overall defenses, granting him remarkable resilience against enemy attacks and allowing him to withstand relentless onslaughts. For every significant blow he endures, Humphrey accumulates energy, empowering him to unleash devastating light and heavy attacks in retaliation. As his rage builds to specific thresholds, his subsequent light and heavy attacks become infused with additional physical damage, referred to as True Damage. This True Damage can penetrate even the most advanced defenses created by gods or humans, rendering shields ineffective. This enhancement further bolsters his offensive capabilities while simultaneously replenishing his regenerative abilities.
At the peak of his Tenacity, Humphrey reaches a level of mastery that allows him to unleash True Damage—an unstoppable force capable of bypassing enemy resistance and defenses. This solidifies his status as an indomitable warrior, capable of triumphing over any opposition and emerging victorious in the most challenging battles. With Tenacity as his arsenal, Humphrey stands as a formidable and awe-inspiring presence on the battlefield, causing his enemies to tremble at the sight of his radiant eyes and the unstoppable power he wields.
Tenacity also possesses a unique passive ability, enabling Humphrey to harness a healing factor. This factor allows him to regenerate himself in a unique way, transforming into an unknown state if he sustains only minor scratches or wounds.
Asgardian Divines: Humphrey's weapons are inspired by the gods Fenrir, Garm, Skoll, and Hati, and they incorporate elements reminiscent of knightly armor.
The gauntlets and vambraces are influenced by Fenrir and feature extensions that resemble razor-sharp claws. The upper part of the gauntlets displays intricately carved snarling faces of Fenrir, giving off an aura of power and ferocity. The vambraces depict Fenrir's majestic mane, symbolizing dominance and creating a strong connection between Humphrey and his weapons. When activated, the mane generates a whirlwind of energy, significantly enhancing Humphrey's physical abilities. The poleyns, greaves, and sabatons draw inspiration from Garm. The poleyns resemble Garm's head, while the sabatons incorporate Garm's claws. The greaves bear tribal symbols representing Garm's wild nature, granting increased speed and agility, especially in wilderness environments.
Skoll and Hati infuse their creations with a radiant, otherworldly glow. The chains have a collar connecting to Humphrey's biceps (rerebrace) and two heads on his shoulders (pauldrons). The half chains feature intricately crafted wolf heads that possess a supernatural ability to adapt to different situations.
As the forging process nears completion, the Linked Chains become extraordinary and formidable weapons. When the wolf heads detach, their eyes ignite with an ethereal glow, signaling their readiness to pursue targets with unwavering determination. The chains can track and engage enemies with exceptional agility, adapting to the dynamics of battle effortlessly. They can even split to engage multiple targets simultaneously, delivering precise and powerful strikes.
Another weapon that was crafted is an amulet representing Fafnir, Nidhogg, and Jormungandr. This amulet can transform into one-handed weapons, bestowing the wearer with unique abilities tied to the gods. It can function effectively in both long-range and close-range combat, offering versatility in different situations. The abilities of the three scaled gods can also be harnessed by the Wolves, connecting to the crafted weapon and creating a synergistic effect.
The passive ability of Asgardian Divines allows all the creators to share their passives and abilities with the weapons they've crafted. This enables the weapons to be dynamically adjusted with different passives, providing a significant advantage when facing various enemies in different situations.
Inner Wolf Extinct: Humphrey, being a Beast, underwent intense training led by Aamon to unlock his inner physical strength. This training ranged from moderate to highly challenging, shaping his muscle structure while retaining his wolf-like attributes.
Under this transformation, Humphrey's eyes take on a wolf symbol appearance. When an opponent meets his gaze, they are designated as a target. Escaping this marking becomes nearly impossible, as Humphrey can instantaneously teleport in front of or behind the marked target and execute automatic dodges should the enemy attempt an attack. Regardless of how much an adversary tries to distance themselves or evade, Humphrey will swiftly reposition himself in an inexplicable state.
Moreover, part of Humphrey's innate abilities involves the capability to induce bone fractures within his opponents. These fractures occur upon delivering both light and heavy blows. Intriguingly, these strikes do not puncture the skin but instead affect the bones inside the flesh, potentially immobilizing or paralyzing his foes.
Another facet of his extinct abilities allows him to access Blood Rage Lost. Humphrey can deliberately or accidentally inflict wounds upon himself, triggering an intense rage within his body. This rage significantly enhances his damage output but reduces his resistance. However, it intensifies his healing abilities to an extraordinary degree, as if he willingly subjects himself to corrosion or mitigation for a specific purpose.
