"Hey can I talk to you?" Carson asked Santana before she had the chance to put on her rolling skates. She was really looking forward to forgetting about everything and just having fun with her family.
The Latina could tell her son was nervous to talk to her. Whenever Carson has a problem he would always go to Quinn before coming to her.
"Yeah are you okay?" Santana asked him while taking a seat next to him.
Carson didn't know how to apologize to Santana alone by himself he always had his mom with him in case they end up bumping head which they always ended up doing because they are so much alike.
"I'm sorry," Carson finally said after a few minutes had passed. "I never meant anything I said in the last few days and I just want us to be a family again."
The only thing the Latina could do was to hold her son and not say anything to him she doesn't know what the future holds for them but one thing for sure is she gonna keep her kids happy. Everything that happened in the last year she wish she could just take everything back.
"I love you Car Car." Santana said with a kiss to his hair before pulling him."come on let's go have some fun."
"So how you holding with everything that is going on?" Charlie asked her twin sister who was nervous and still on edge about meeting up with Santana tonight over dinner to talk.
The last time they both were alone didn't end up so well and Santana went off bat shit crazy once she found out Quinn was pregnant with Emily baby and the blonde called her a freak.
Quinn still couldn't believe her ex-wife said she was still in love her on live television.
"I'm okay for the most part now that I'm a single mom of three kids and one on the way I really don't know what I'm gonna do." Quinn said but in reality she was lying she was freaking out about the none date with Santana.
Is her fault that Santana moved out and she cheated on her with a girl who turned out to be nothing, she was glad Carson decked her in the face.
While Brittany and the rest of the girls and including Kurt was talking, Charlie could tell something else was bothering her sister but she didn't want to say anything in front of their friends. It was nice that Quinn could get her mind off of Emily leaving her pregnant and alone.
"Q, are you sure you're okay?" Charlie asked once they were alone in the kitchen together.
"I'm fine." The blonde said without looking up at her sister but Charlie knew better than that but she didn't want to force her into talking if she didn't feel like talk.
"I'm gonna get you!" Santana said chasing her kids around the skating rink.
Lauren and Bethany were sitting down on the side of skating together while the Latina was chasing her boys and nephew. She really needed this after what happened less than 24 hours and the only thing that could have made her happy was her family.
After awhile Santana was tried and was ready to sit down she forgot how much her boys had a lot of energy and she was ready to call it a day.
"So are we not gonna talk about Quinn?" Lauren asked the Latina who was out of breath from chasing Carson around.
Santana just blanked her eyes a few times before looking over at her baby girl and her sister in law and gave her a look that said we'll talk about it later. Beth knew what her daddy and aunt was talking about but she didn't want to be all their business like Carson was and end up hating them.
After skating some more and letting the kids spend a hundred dollars each in the game before grabbing some food and heading home.
"I just realized something." Santana said pulling up into her driveway and helping the boys out of their carseat while Lauren was grabbing the food."why are you here Berry?" She said to her nephew while he started to smiling and kissing her cheek. "I may not like you parents but I love you." She said kissing his head.
Quinn hands were shaking she didn't know why the hell she was nervous about having dinner with her ex wife.
She literally been sitting in the car for the past twenty minutes thinking about if she should go in or not. What if Santana wants to get back together or maybe talk about Jordan party or maybe she's pushing up her tour dates or canceling it.
"Well here goes nothing." The blonde said getting out of the car and making her way into the restaurant.
At first Quinn hasn't spotted the Latina yet and she figured she canceled on her.
"Of course she did." She said out loud to herself before her eyes landed on the last person she thought she wouldn't see for awhile.
"Wait don't go." Amber said getting up from her sit and chasing after her. "I knew if I text you from my phone you probably wouldn't came."
"You're damn right." Quinn said staring her down."did Santana put you up to this?" She questioned with her signature eyebrow raised.
"Actually no but we need to talk about her."
"So buddy what are we doing for your party?" Santana asked her son Jordan who she was currently helping him getting ready for bed.
"I dount no."
"Do you know how old you're gonna be?" She asked laying down with him in his small bed.
"Four!" He said very excited and holding up four small fingers which Santana kissed each and every one of them.
"That's right! We can do anything you want buddy it's your day."
"Listen I'm not going keep you long but I have to say this." Amber said getting completely comfortable in her seat. " I like Santana a lot and I care about her but..." the blonde stop to take a deep breath."I don't think we should be together and I don't want to stand in the way."
Quinn was lost for words and she didn't know where this was coming from.
"Did she tell you that?"
"It doesn't matter if she told me or not. She never cheated on you with with Nicole."
"And how the hell do you know that?!" Quinn said feeling her blood pressure going up.
"I'm not stupid okay and Santana is a really good person and she loves you and the kids and she would never do anything to mess it up."
"And why should I believe you and she's dating you?" Quinn said with her arms folded while feeling like her old high school self.
"Because we never had sex and I'm afraid she's gonna call me you." Amber said true fully while leaning back in her chair. " I don't want to calls any problems."
"I wish for daddy to come home." Jordan said catching Santana off guard.
She wish for the same thing every single night just to take back everything that happened to be a family again to be that person Quinn first felt in love with. This just was a bad dream she wish she could wake up from but that's never gonna happen not even in a million years.
