"Is it good?"

"Mmm..."

After Yuta bid his dramatic farewell to the two demon slayers who arrived at his humble abode this morning, he returned to his cabin which was built near the crown of the mountain. It was a small wooden house that Yuta himself made taking the occupants into consideration.

Slowly blowing over the stew, the raven-haired boy served the dish to the only other person in the cabin with a fond smile spread across his lips. Just by his expression and the gentleness he was portraying through the gestures, one could deduce what importance the other person must have for the Curse User.

"My hands work quite fine you know... Yuta doesn't need to bother feeding me like this..."

Despite being said, the person didn't seem she was complaining about being treated like a child at all despite being a year older than Okkotsu. It has already been some time since they have expressed their love for each other yet Yuta shows no sign of getting tired taking care of her at all.

Kanae initially kept on teasing him and tried to pamper Yuta as much as she could after she came to know some of the things related to his past but as they spent time together and the once Flower Hashira began to open herself to him as well, their role seemingly swapped. However, it was not like Kanae was not liking it. This was a new sensation for her, relying on someone else and living like an actual queen. She feels guilty from time to time about the overdose of sugar, however, when Yuta looks at her with those puppy eyes of his, it diminishes Kanae's resistance.

"You don't like it?" With an innocent expression, the Sorcerer tilted his head as the spoon halted mid-air seemingly unsure whether his actions were making her uncomfortable.

But the other one just smiled in amusement and helplessness before shaking her head as she parted her lips and closed her eyes, waiting for the next serving of her lover's cooking.

Yuta smiled at her adorable response before he continued feeding her, taking some spoonfuls for himself in between as well. Though they have already crossed the ultimate line between a man and a woman, the subtle blush at the indirect kiss doesn't remain dormant for either of them.

"But was it really necessary for you to not go and see Shinobu-san?"

Upon hearing the name of her little sister, a glint of guilt and remorse flashed across Kanae's eyes as she reminded herself once again why she couldn't meet her sister and why Kanae was hiding for the past two years now.

It goes without saying that for Kanae her family, her butterflies were everything and she very much desired to see them as soon as she could but right now as she was, Kanae knew she would only become a burden to her sister and nothing else.

Thankfully, after a lot of persuasions from Yuta and the way he convinced her that he would not let Shinobu get burdened because of Kanae's disability made the ex-slayer contemplate her decision.

Kanae believed in Yuta more than she does in herself. He has saved her life, given her another reason to live, and provided her with the warmth she never deserved yet never rejected considering how comfortable she found herself entrapped in his arms. Despite being with the boy for two years she realized her feelings six months ago and from thereon, a new chapter in her life which Kanae never presumed, began.

"I mean I would be meeting her in a month so it's fine..."

Kanae did her best to hide her true emotions but for someone who has seen her, observed her for this long and from this close, Yuta knows what her actual feelings in the matter are.

Placing the emptied bowl to a side, he brought his hand over hers before he spoke in a soft tone.

"Whom are you lying to, Kanae? I know how much you miss your sister. I have seen it and the consideration you preserve for others is what made me feel a-attracted toward you."

Even though he has confessed more than once Yuta still finds it difficult doing it so straight-faced but fortunately from the shift of her expression it seemed he was able to pursue her and maybe lighten up her sorrow as well.

Kanae is a cheerful person is what Yuta first noted when he got to see her after she woke up from her long slumber but once in a while her natural front breaks apart whenever her loved ones are involved. From Yuta's perception, Kanae values those surrounding her, way more than she does her own existence. Selfless, caring, and most important, breathtakingly beautiful.

Hearing Yuta's reasoning and spot-on assumption, the lady felt sighing helplessly since after being with him for such a short yet memorable duration, she couldn't even hide a single thing even though she tries her best. While working as a demon slayer, she never believed to have a normal life like what she wanted her sister to have, yet here she was, all spoiled and loved by her partner while enjoying delicious food and relishing the comfort only Yuta could provide her with.

Kanae remained silent for a long minute, making Yuta slightly nervous if he had crossed his bounds but the smiling face which bloomed on her face soon made his tensed shoulders relaxed.

"Thank you, Yuta. Without you, I would never have seen this day when I have the opportunity to meet Shinobu once again."

The fall of her head on his chest made Yuta startled for a bit but soon he caged her in a gentle hug and didn't reply. The silence which ensued between them was far from awkward and contained a strange tranquility that these two only could comprehend.

These small moments when Yuta only could feel Kanae and the same for the other is something that either of them prayed to retain. The comfort in each other's presence and the belongingness these two souls have found in each other could never be tampered with, nor replaced.

[After some days]

It was the time when the night sky couldn't have been darker than this with the twinkle of the stars illuminating the skies and providing a spectacle to watch for the viewers yet only a sole figure currently stood on the small terrace of the mansion eyeing the sky.

His tall and lean figure was adorned in a formal white shirt and black trousers and the frilly hair hung low over his forehead, providing the man a sense of pure beauty. His pale white skin gave a sensation that he might bleed if touched irresponsibly. A touch of softness in the blend of manly aura made the man enticing to the eyes.

"Honey...let's go back to sleep..."

A lady moaned as she peeked out her head from the inside with her eyes half closed signifying how sleepy she was, yet she came in this windy atmosphere to invite her husband back to the bed who strangely stood under the night sky wordlessly.

"You rest early, dear. I need some breathing space to clear my mind and prepare for tomorrow. "

The woman was told that there was a trading deal to be finalized and for that, her husband must be worked up. She asked him to return soon before she walked back in a daze and plopped down on the bed to reclaim her dreamy sleep.

The terrace was once again enshrouded in silence but this time the air seemed a bit heavier than before and there was a slight sense of animosity in the atmosphere as well.

The man remained still like he was an ice statue and what moved was only his pale lips, to call out a name.

"Akaza."

"My lord."

Just as the word left his throat, a figure appeared to be kneeling beside the man who was regarded as the lord, or more famously known to be the Progenitor of all demons—Kibutsuji Muzan.

The one who appeared on his master's call was one of the strongest demons, Upper Moon Three—Akaza.

The demon general had an average height that was compensated by his macular body which was shapely fine and modestly carved. His pink hair and eyelashes were not something on which one could judge his personality since to gain the title his eyes were reflecting, Akaza has slaughtered hundreds upon thousands in his path and challenged every being he found worthy to be his opponent.

The tattoo marking all over his body was like how a criminal is branded but to Akaza it was nothing to it his concern about and it only made him look more frightening, coupled with his yellow eyes, one with weak will might tremble in his mere presence.

"Something has been distracting demons near Mount Natagumo and I expect this must be the reason for Rui's demise. Investigate whatever it is and bring it down."

Muzan wasn't restless about it since those amount of demons was something he could recreate in one or maybe two night time but what took his slight curiosity was the reason which caused this unnatural phenomenon.

From the memories of the Lower Moon Five, Muzan wasn't able to attain anything since all it displayed was darkness which was the primary reason why Muzan even bothered sending an upper moon.

Akaza was about to reply with a simple reply of affirmation before he would have jumped off to begin his newly assigned mission other than to gather information about Blue Spider Lily. However, his eyes snapped open, and just on instinct, the Upper Moon launched himself past his master with his fingers tightened like a spearhead as he targeted the chest of the new arrival.

Akaza had no qualms to confirm the said person's identity since he reeked of humans and just walking in the presence of the Demon Supreme gave enough reason for the human to die without a word of retaliation.

However, his hand was suddenly sliced down the wrist, making Akaza halt in his way and look up at the preparation... only to get startled.

'What is that thing... '

The reason for Akaza's reaction stems from the fact that a demon with an overwhelming presence was sneaking from behind the human with its arms circled around the raven-haired, protectively.

The grey-white demon didn't possess any visible eyes yet Akaza felt under the gaze of extreme hatred. The bleeding killing intent made the air around thicker as Akaza reassessed the situation.

"So it's you..."

Akaza immediately backed off after regenerating his arm, since his master chose to step forward without any notable expression on his face but his eyes has adapted to the natural crimson shade.

The only human presence at the place...or was he...stared back at the King of Demons without flinching in his presence and held his stance all so confidently. There was a strange energy radiating from the two fresh appearances or rather that demon was possessing the human to bid in its stead?

Muzan had no connection with this tendrils-backed demon and couldn't find any control over it either. Sensing that the said demon was in no place to talk, Muzan chose to keep his gaze on the human for the time being.

"What are you?"

"Does it matter?" The boy spoke for the first time before he jumped from the railing and dropped to match the line of sight as he continued," I am here to warn you, Kibutsuji. The very moment I come across your real form, nothing in this world would be able to separate my blade from your neck."The speaker held no other emotion rather than pure hatred and anger when he spoke those words.

The amount of killing intent from all these three present on the small terrace was menacing enough to put a human in trauma. However, none of them backed down as Yuta stared at the man he particularly despised in this world.

Every single demon had a reason why they turned into such, but this Demon Lord was the only one who lives for his greed and slaughters for his fun. Yuta loathed such existence. The tears he has seen in those many eyes Yuta has put down...even lady Tamayo was weighed down by her guilt just because of this creature and Yuta has taken the role to put an end to this, once and for all.

"Hmmm? I need this specimen Akaza, alive. Return with what I desire or behead yourself before dawn."

Yuta saw the figure of the middle-aged man walking back into the house but the sorcerer just watched silently since killing this form of kibutsuji wouldn't make much difference.

Rather he chose to stare at the demon standing across from him wordlessly.

"You don't have to do this... I can help you regain your humanity... "

The same phrase Yuta always offers to every demon he comes across and that is to let him heal them.

It all depends on how much blood a demon has ingested from the Muzan. If any newly formed demon gets into Yuat's contact, he can use his reverse-cursed technique to heal them and restore what they have lost. Surely, to cure someone from Upper Rank, Yuta needs to first weaken Muzan before he can help those who are highly infected by his blood.

However, despite his goodwill toward those whom he was supposed to hate, always a similar response a demon mutters out, just like this one:

"Nothing you say holds a single fragment of importance. My master wants you and I would ensure that his command is abide by."

Yuta sighed as he sensed the approaching danger before he leaped away from the terrace. As he thought there was nothing like talking things out so what he would do now is follow Kanae's words and look out for his safety first.

The battle between The Upper Moon Three and the Cursed Slayer, begins!

A/N: - Yuta has reincarnated after living through a decent time in JJK so he already has copied one heck amount of curse techniques minus Gojo's

No logic why he can't but it's just like that.

About Kanae then I always liked her personality and thought that Yuta can bring out the real Kanae from behind the mask. Her dream of creating a world of Demons and Humans side by side...sadly won't be fulfilled and I would provide a detailed explanation about it.

Now some people might say the Reverse cursed technique doesn't work like that, but bruh, this is fanfic.

Yuta is OP but not enough to single-handedly win against Kokushibo without losing an arm or two. He will power up and might learn a breathing technique.

Who knows, for now just drop a review so my motivation refills to write another chapter.
