Elizabeth Bennet, the best of the CIA's agents, receives a late-night call-back to Langley shortly after returning from a long, exhausting deep-cover mission. She is expected to accept another deep-cover mission and team with CIA agent, Charles Bingley, and an MI-6 agent, Fitzwilliam Darcy. Darcy is MI-6's best — and in the States trailing international terrorist, George Wickham.

We all love ye-olde compromise trope, even though we all suspect the whole scheme is full of logical holes and probably not really a thing. This is an ongoing series of short compromise stories of varying levels of silliness, not to be taken too seriously. Includes people caught in compromising positions, and other compromises like Charlotte marrying an idiot for security.

What if . . . Mrs. Gardiner's Lambton relations had been a little more well-to-do and what if she had stronger and longer ties to them and to Derbyshire? In this variation Elizabeth begins to spend summers with the Gardiners in Derbyshire at a fairly young age. As a result she develops her own ties to that part of the world and its people, including the Darcy's of Pemberley.

Andrea is attempting to sleep only to hear a commotion downstairs. What she finds is a big mess at midnight. Leaving this one marked as in progress just in case anymore come; I can just put them all under one thing rather than multiple listings. A Modern Pride and Prejudice with a twist. Liam Darcy is the Master of Pemberley who has hired historian Lily Bennet to research his family and their history with Pemberley. There is history between the two that could have an adverse effect on the work to be completed. The Ghosts of Pemberley will need to step in to get their story and history back on track.

It is not usually a good idea to escape a guest trying to compromise you by accidentally compromising another guest instead. But in this particular case, Mr. Darcy finds himself not quite minding the unintended result. Canon divergent.

Her sister Jane and her friends Charlotte and Maria Lucas form the group The Meryton Assembly, are Pemberley's opening act. What could possibly go wrong ?

On two Thanksgiving days, Liam Darcy copes with the tragedy of his mom's death, his father's drunkenness and then his father's suicide with some help from Simon and Garfunkel, hardening his heart as inspired by the folk song, "I Am A Rock." While this helps him to cope now, we all know this won't do him any favors later. One shot for now.

29/12/1811 Fitzwilliam Darcy is drunk and alone and he decides to write a letter to Miss Elizabeth Bennet. The next morning he is hungover and visited by Colonel Fitzwilliam, and the butler, while bringing him his morning coffee, informs he posted the letter by express as he asked. The trouble is, her father is the one that reads it.

A 'what if' story. What if Colonel Fitwilliam's comments about marriage and fortune had compelled Elizabeth to think more deeply about her family's situation? How might this affect her response when Mr Darcy offers her his hand in marriage? Rated T for later chapters. (Rating may go up.)

Sometimes the smallest decision or the oddest circumstance may completely alter the fate of many.
