Powerful Thoughts

*Combined POV*

Caulifla finds herself training with Goku, Gohan, Pan, and Piccolo. The hours go by as Caulifla is finds the training to be actually quite enjoyable, and even training with Pan was fun! Simply because Pan reminded Caulifla of herself when she was young. Goku also taught Caulifla and Pan both how to maintain your Ki while going Super Saiyan, Caulifla slowly understood but saw Pan couldn't. Thats when she makes the realization that Pan hasn't even learned how to go super Saiyan yet. She smirks at the thought that she'll be apart of the process that helps her learn to go Super Saiyan. After a good long day the training finishes. The group then starts to separate.

Gohan: "Whew!! I really needed that! Thank you again Piccolo, Dad! I really should take Pan back home to Videl. I'll see you guys later!"

Pan: "Yeah thanks! Bye!!"

The group waves to Gohan and Pan leaving.

Piccolo: "Well, I guess that is my cue to leave as well. Take care of yourself Goku. You as well Caulifla. Goodbye." And he shoots off into the sky

Goku: "Huh.. I guess its just the two of us now.. what would you like to do Caulifla!?"

Caulifla: "Oh umm... im actually pretty tired. Your son is a-lot stronger than he looks."

Goku: "He sure is! Well, then home it is!" He starts getting ready to shoot of in the air

Caulifla: "Whoa! Wait Goku! Actually... do you think we could, just walk home?"

Goku: "Oh? Umm yeah sure! Why not."

The two walk along the grassy planes with the sum just cresting over the horizon, barely above. All the day animals have silenced and the night critters start making sounds.

Caulifla: "Soo.. beautiful sky huh?" 'Beautiful sky??? What was that?!?' She thought to herself.

Goku: "I'll admit, thats one if the things on Earth i'll never get tired of."

Caulifla:'...Just roll with it...' "Sooo... Pan. Thats your granddaughter huh?"

Goku: "Oh, yeah! Its still weird to think about the fact im a Grandpa. It was like yesterday that I had my own and I was just a kid... time flies."

Caulifla: "So Goku if I may.. how old... are you??"

Goku: "Huh.. you know thats actually a good question!"

Caulifla: "It is..?"

Goku: "Well sure.. lets see. I mean technically.. im 52"

Caulifla: she stops walking and is just blankly starring at Goku "fifty... two!?"

Goku: "Well yeah.. but I guess my body is 44 because I was dead for one year, and then dead for 7. Im pretty sure thats right.. heh, not too good at the whole "math" thing."

Caulifla: "Oh, thats.. interesting." 'I know we Saiyans keep a young physique for a long time but I never thought it was like that..'

Goku: "Why'd ya ask?"

Caulifla: snapping back to reality "Huh?? Oh no reason.. I was just curious."

Goku: "Well how old are you?"

Goku is smacked on the top of his head. He jolts in pain from the hit and looks over at Caulifla with a questioned look while rubbing the sore spot.

Goku: "OWWW!!! What was that for!?"

Caulifla: "You don't ask a woman her age Goku!!"

Caulifla looks down for a moment and after sometime she chimes back up.

Caulifla: "22.."

Goku: "Oh you're so young!"

Goku gets smacked in the exact same spot yet again

Goku: "Stop that!! Man... same spot and everything.."

Caulifla: "Serves you right old man!"

Goku: "Sorry!..." he stops rubbing and ponders "Say, Caulifla, why me?"

Caulifla: she looks at him confused "Why what?" She starts walking again

Goku: starts following along "Why'd you pick me to be your teacher??"

Caulifla: "Well.. why not?"

Goku: "I don't know, I mean there's Vegeta, he's pretty good at the whole student thing, and plus once Cabba finishes some of his training he could just share it with you. So yeah.. why me?"

Caulifla: she gets flustered momentarily before gaining some confidence "Well... I think you uhh.. you're pretty strong, so thats a good reason."

Goku: "Well yeah, but again, so is Vegeta, he's only just barely behind me. Something tells me that won't be for very long."

Caulifla: "Oh..." she looks at him with a puzzled look "Why? You not wanna train me?"

Goku: "Oh no! Its not that, I was just curious"

Caulifla: "Then why does it matter?"

Goku: "I don't know.. I just wanted to know.."

Caulifla: mumbles to herself "you're just everything I want to be..."

Goku: "Whats that?"

Caulifla: with her face "Nothing! Just.. just drop it for now, okay?"

Goku: "Oh.. okay." He looks up at the new found stars in the sky

Goku and Caulifla continue to walk in silence for an hour and Caulilfla looks up over to Goku examining his face and trying to read on his emotions. 'Man.. I can't even get a read on this guy. What is this guy made of??' Thats when Goku notices her stare and looks over at her. Caulifla quickly turns away hiding her face.

Goku: "Hey.. are we okay?"

Caulifla: "Huh..? Oh, yeah of course. Why do you ask?"

Goku: he puts his balled up hand under his and with a pondering look "Well, for awhile now you have been pretty quiet with me and im not the brightest guy around.. I know I can say stuff wrong sometimes, im just hoping I didn't say anything wrong to you. I'd rather not ruin the relationship we have.. ya know?"

Caulifla: blushes lightly "Re-relationship??"

Goku: "Well yeah! You've been a good friend to me, I wouldn't want to lose you as a friend"

Caulifla: Chuckles to herself "Oh yeah right! Haha yeah.. Don't worry Goku, you're a sweetheart, I love being around you."

Goku: "Okay good! I was just worried there for a second. Sorry if im being all weird, but my Wif... my Ex Wife.. made it clear that I wasn't too good with my... emotions." Goku's words get choked up with that last sentence.

Caulifla: with her hand over her heart "Oh Goku.. I understand, but hey..." she puts her hand on his shoulder "You don't have to worry about me, okay? All I want to do is be around you." Her eyes get wide and she sputters to correct herself "I-I-I uhhh I mean you know, cuz you're the one to teach me how to het stronger!" She takes her hand off his shoulder and gives him a solid punch

Goku: rubbing his shoulder "Heh yeah, I know I know. Thank you Caulifla, really."

Caulifla: her cheeks blush ever so slightly "Anytime Goku."

The pair continue all the way home taking in the sights along the way. The pair go inside the home and head to there respective rooms and Caulifla collapses on her bed and puts her arm over her forehead. 'Dammit girl, what is he doing to you.. I feel so weird around him.' She sits up quickly with an epiphany. 'I can swing by where Kale is staying and talk to her about this.' She lays back down and cuddles up in her blanket. Over in Goku's room Goku is getting ready for bed but is stuck in thought. 'Today's training went so well. Gohan and Pan are really picking up. Caulifla is doing really well too! Man I can't wait to see what that girl can do. She'll make a great sparring partner! Goku's face gets red, and he shakes his head. 'She really is great huh.. she is something special.' He lays his head on his pillow and closes his eyes and goes to bed for the night.

*Caulifla's POV*

Caulifla finds herself in a deep sleep, and her mind wanders into what feels like a very realistic dream. She looks around in her dream and finds herself in her old room back on Sadala. She notices a bright light coming from underneath her door. She walks over and opens up the door to an open field, she walks out and glances at the nearby area, to her it seems so familiar. Open field, flowers all around, and the beautiful sky shining down upon her face. She notice something different in her peripherals and see's a group of people but they are silhouetted, not a single feature makes itself apparent to her. She glances closer before a dark aura shrouds the group. It starts to crawl over the ground, killing the grass and flowers. The aura reaches the sky and turns it into a deep red. Her heart starts to race at this point as her nerves feel like they are going to tear her apart. While she races to figure out what is going on her eyes lock on to a figure in the middle of the group taller than the others. The figure steps forward towards her, she goes to back up but her body betray's her mind. The figure walks closer and closer. She looks upon the figure and a red M starts to glow on where his forehead would be. Her eyes widen as the figure is now only a step away. She tries every way possible to move, to run, even to fight back, but for naught. The figure rises his hand and it slowly reaches for her head. Her eyes start to show fear as it inches closer and closer. The figure's hand reaches her cheek and slowly caresses her. Right there and then a surge of dark energy rushing to and through her.

Caulifla shoots out of her bed screaming, she looks around in terror as she finally realizes that she is still in her bedroom. 'Oh god.. it was just a dream.. what was that all about!?' Goku rushes through the door basically breaking the hinges im the process.

Goku: "Caulifla! Whats wrong!? What happened!?"

Caulifla: with eyes wide open "Goku!? That door was locked!?" She covers her body up

Goku: "oh well yeah.. I thought you were hurt or something"

Caulifla: "No you idiot!! It was just a bad dream!! Now get out!!!"

Goku: "Okay okay, sheesh, I will." He starts to walk out of the room

Caulifla: "Hey Goku.. wait."

Goku: "Yeah?"

Caulifla: "Umm.. thank you. For you know.. checking up on me."

Goku: "Sure thing Caulifla. Anytime" he smiles and tries to close the door with it heavily cracking as it closes

Caulifla lays back down in bed and she rolls over to her side and closes her eyes. She thinks back on her dream, and as her mind dwells back onto the horrid nightmare, and her mind slowly drifts back to Goku, his face, his personality, his everything. Her eyes slowly open again, and she feels something strange inside of her, something she can't quite comprehend. She puts her finger up to her chin.

Caulifla: "I think its time I go talk to Kale, I can't make sense of anything right now."

She looks outside to see the sky, the sun is barley rising over the sky. And she throws on some of her new clothes and quietly leaves Goku's house. 'I think Kale is with Cabba, and he should be with Vegeta... so Bulma's place. Its best I head out, I need to clear my Head.'

Caulifla touches down outside Capsule Corp. She walks into the main building looking around until she spots Bulma. She quickly runs over and stands beside her. Then Bulma turns toward Caulifla.

Bulma: "HOLY CRAP!! Caulifla!?"

Caulifla: "Hey? You alright?"

Bulma: "Yeah.. just gotta put a bell on you. What can I do for you Caulifla?"

Caulifla: "Well nothing really, I was just wondering if you saw Kale??"

Bulma: "Kale?? Ummm... not sure.. ask Vegeta im sure he'll know where she is."

Caulifla:"Great! Ummm.. so where is Vegeta?"

Bulma: "Where else.. the Gravity Chamber. He's there more than he's with his kids."

Caulifla: "Okay cool!! Thanks Bulma!!" Caulifla runs down the hall to find Vegeta

Bulma: "Yeah sure... Saiyans... wait, is that racist??"

Caulifla runs through the halls trying to find the Gravity Chamber. After some time she finally finds the door to the room. She walks through and finds Vegeta and Cabba. Cabba is breathing heavily with sweat dripping down his face and Vegeta is just scowling at Cabba.

Caulifla: "Uhhh I don't mean to intrude on... whatever this is but im looking for Kale."

Cabba: looking up at Caulifla "Oh hey! Sorry.. Vegeta has been working me like no other."

Vegeta: "I wouldn't have to work so hard if you would act like AN ACTUAL SAIAYN WARRIOR!!"

Caulifla: "Thats cool, just looking for Kale."

Cabba:"Im doing my best master! This Gravity thing is insane!"

Vegeta:"Not my problem! You wanted to learn to be a stronger warrior, and who best to learn it from than the best of the best!?"

Caulifla: increasingly getting irritated "Guys... Kale?"

Cabba:"B-but Sir... I can't handle the gravity at that level!"

Vegeta:"Then you will just have to work harder to make it work huh!?"

Caulifla: "GUYS!!!"

The two squabbling Saiyans turn toward Caulifla as her lid is almost about to blow.

Caulifla: "As much as I'd love to hear about your ego's, I'd really rather like to know where KALE is!"

Cabba: "Oh.. I think Kale is actually Staying with Goku's son.."

Caulifla: "Thank you.. now where can I find Gohan?"

Cabba just shrugs his shoulders while Vegeta just scoffs.

Vegeta: "His place is a few miles East of here, its a big house. You really can't miss it."

Caulifla: "Wow, Vegeta actually being helpful.. huh."

Vegeta: "EXCUSE ME!?"

Caulifla: "Nothing! Gotta go BYE CABBA!!"

Caulifla looks around and see's a wooden patch on the roof and tilts her head, but then turns and runs out the door.

Vegeta: "Yeah.. you better leave hmph.."

Cabba: "Well that was something else huh?"

Vegeta: "YOU! CHAMBER! NOW!"

Cabba: "Awwe... man.." Cabba makes his way back to the Chamber.

Caulifla leaves the main building and takes off towards the sky going East, off to find Gohan's house. 'I wonder why Kale is staying with Gohan.. sounds weird.. I guess I'll get that figured out when I get there..' Caulifla continues her flight with both confusion and intrigue. After about 20 minutes she finally finds a big house a little bit outside of town. ' "A few miles east of here" my ass Vegeta..' She touches down outside of the big house as she looks on in amazement. This sure was one big house.. nothing like Goku's for sure. She walks around a good bit taking im the full magnitude of this house. Her amazement is cut off when something in her peripherals catches her eye. She turns as she see's Videl waving her over.

Videl: "Hey Cauli!! What brings you here!?"

Caulifla: "Videl? What are you doing here??"

Videl: "Me?? I live here, this is my house.."

Caulifla: smacks her forehead with her hand "Thats right, I forgot you're mated to Gohan.."

Videl: "uhh, yeah mated is a word for it" she giggles "You okay Cauli??"

Caulifla: "Oh yeah, just lost in thought a little bit.. actually do you know where I can find Kale? I was told she was here."

Videl: "Oh of course, she is staying in our guest room, i'll bring you inside! You must be hungry!"

Caulifla: her stomach rumbles a little bit "Well if you are offering."

Videl: she giggles at Caulifla "Of course, follow me i'll take you inside"

Videl takes Caulifla's hand and begins to lead her to the house. They go through the front door and sits Caulifla down in the dining room.

Videl: "Alrighty! You just wait right here and i'll go grab Kale!"

Caulifla: "Okay! Thank you Videl!"

Videl leaves the room leaving Caulifla with her thoughts. She looks around at the lavish room she is sitting in. She has only seen rooms like this in palaces and court rooms that housed the wealthy people of her home world, and her she is sitting in one right now, and not as a gang leader raiding one, she's in one as a guest of a friend.. how the tables have turned. Her gazing ends when a door opens up with Kale coming through with Videl. Caulifla shoots up and runs over to Kale im excitement.

Caulifla: "Kale!!! I have so much to talk to you abo-"

Her words are cut off as she gazes down at Kale and her clothes, and she has an apron hanging over her clothes.

Caulifla: "Uhhh... Kale? What the hell are you wearing??"

Kale: "Oh.. I-I have been.. Cooking.."

Videl: "Oh yeah Caulifla! Why didn't you tell me your friend was such an excellent cook!?"

Caulifla: "Thats because she's not!? Or I thought she wasn't.. i've never seen her cook."

Videl: "Are you kidding?? Give this girl a cookbook and she is a Chef!"

Kale giggles and blushes a bit from embarrassment, and nods her head. Caulifla just stands there dumbfounded for a few moments.

Caulifla: "Huh.. well I guess you never know someone huh? Well anyway Kale i've been meaning to talk to you.. i've had some weird stuff happening of late!"

Kale: "W-weird..? A-are you okay..?"

Caulifla: "Yeah of course I am, I think.. thats what I came here for I just gotta clear my head, so I thought of you!"

Videl: "Hey! Why don't we all talk after we eat some delicious food huh??"

Caulifla: "Well that actually sounds good.. it would be nice to talk to you guys.. I feel like im going crazy."

Videl: "Don't worry Kale her cooked up some crazy stuff! I'll go get it set up and i'll see you in a bit!"

Kale: "Okay Videl.."

Caulifla: "Sounds good!"

The two Saiyans sit down at the dining table and Kale looks at Caulifla intently waiting to hear her out. Caulifla takes a deep breath as she goes to speak. Then the door opens back up and its Videl with a rolling tray full of food. She sets up the table and sits in the middle chair between Caulifla and Kale.

Videl: "Alright girls! Lets eat and we'll gossip our hearts out!"

The two Saiyans nod and start digging into the food with as much manners as a Saiyan can possibly muster.

Hello again folks!!

I know I know!! I missed a whole week!! And I can explain!... Uhhhh.. writers block??? Im not sure what to call it but I just wanted to make sure I knew where this story was going and im 100% sure I know what im going to write with this story now. I didn't want to give y'all crap, and I didn't want to put out what felt like was crap.

This now means that I SHOULD be back on schedule so if there was any of you looking forward to last weeks story I am deeply sorry and I hope what you got here was worth!
