Trying not to think about Dabi was hard for you. Betrayed was just the beginning of all the things you felt about your current situation.
You were angry at Dabi for saying those things to you..he was so mean and cruel and it just didn't make sense because it felt like a complete one eighty of his character. Angry at yourself for falling as hard as you did and letting it cloud your judgement.
You were upset that the love you thought you knew was gone for good. Sad that you finally told him your true feelings and it was literally thrown back into your face. 'He said nothing from before mattered..that would include both of our confessions.'
He convinced you that he would always be there, that he would always come back to you. 'Was it all a lie? Just empty words and broken promises..'
You felt like you did that first day at the apartment when Hawks showed you the news that said you were free; blindsided and completely unprepared.
Your stomach growled loudly and you sat upright on the thin mattress. 'Guess I should figure out what I'm going to do for food..and find a way to fix the pipes..'
Opening the door and stepping onto the porch you breathed in deep loving the scent of fresh mountain air despite the cold temperature. The sun shone off the remnants of snow making everything look shiny and new amongst the bare trees and minimal wildlife.
Seeing as you didn't spend a lot of time outdoors you recalled something that Touya once told you. 'All you really need to survive is a source of fresh water and a weapon; either something sharp or heavy. If you have access to those two things you'll be alright.'
'I'm so hungry..not too many edible things grow in the wild in the middle of winter.. Hell I'll be lucky if I can even find any animals to eat.'
'It took a couple hours to get this far into the woods, if I go back- even if it's just for food-What if I get caught? What if I'm killed in the process? They could still be looking for me.' You shook your head at the idea and decided against it.
Stepping off the front porch you looked at your immediate surroundings and sighed heavily. Walking around the outside of the small cabin you spotted a rack with some already chopped wood.
'I'm lucky I didn't freeze to death last night but I'll need to light the fireplace when I get back.' Grabbing some of the logs you took them inside and sat them in the fireplace.
Back outside you grabbed some more wood and took it inside, this time creating a pile outside the fireplace so that way you didn't have to go back outside when you needed more.
With that taken care of, you stepped off the front porch once more and this time walked in the direction of the stream. It was in a half frozen state but still accessible.
Walking along side the semi flowing water you kept an eye out for anything that could be of nutritious value.
After a few days you started getting used to being hungry. Food was scarce but you made it work despite your constantly rumbling stomach. Honestly you wish you would've watched more survival shows when you had your apartment. Or at least you wish you had more knowledge on this sort of thing. Most of your know how was only useful in a modern house with already working indoor plumbing and electricity.
You eventually did get the water to flow into the cabin, but finding food was still a chore that took up most of your daylight hours. Exhausted from walking you fell to your knees and looked up to the bright white sky. 'Looks like it's going to snow soon..I have to find something that will last me a couple days or I'm done for..'
Maybe you should just go back. No one probably even knows you've-
'Out of the question. I'm dead if I go back-'
And you'll die if you stay out here. We aren't made for this.
Ignoring your inner voice you looked at the vast amount of trees around you. 'This isn't the time to give up.' Standing up you dusted off your pants and readjusted the coat you'd taken claim over, since it was left behind inside the cabin, before continuing forward.
Yet another unsuccessful search. You were tired and very hungry as you starred at the fire in the fireplace of the small cabin. Eyelids feeling heavy they slowly drifted closed and it wasn't long before you fell into a semi unconscious state. What you didn't know was that your body was going into starvation mode and the wood for the fire wouldn't last the rest of the night.
You stood on a stage in a huge auditorium but all the lights were off making it difficult for you to see. Suddenly a bright spot light was turned on and you were blinded by it as it was aimed directly at you. Shielding your eyes with your arm you gave yourself a moment to adjust the brightness.
Dropping your arm you squinted as you looked out at all the empty seats. Literally every chair was unoccupied.
All except for one. At the top of the auditorium in the balcony seats you could clearly make out his white hair even at this distance. 'Touya..'
You both starred at each other in silence and it was deafening in the large space that seemed to grow the longer you looked.
'Was I supposed to be doing something?' You thought to yourself as you looked down at your hands.
You were now holding something that was wrapped in a blanket but you couldn't tell what it was. Holding the foreign object close to your chest you moved your arm so that you could lift the cloth and see what was inside.
"What do you think you'r doing?" Dabi questioned from directly behind you, causing you to spin around quickly. His face said it all, he wasn't happy.
Falling back into old habits you stuttered. "..I-uh..I..don't know."
He shook his head while giving you the most condescending look. "Poor naive little Mia."
Eyes snapping open you starred at the dark wood ceiling trying in vain to unpack the crazy dream you'd just had but something else caught your immediate attention. You weren't cold, which was strange due to it being a balmy winter night; instead your body felt warm. Looking toward the fireplace you noted that it was still going, and it was even stronger than it was before you fell asleep. 'I don't remember doing that.'
Not just that, but your overall position and placement had changed. Now you were leaning against something firm on the bed instead of sitting in the chair. Turning around your eyes widened at the sight of yellow eyes and dark blonde hair.
Turns out the thing you were leaning on was none other than the winged hero Hawks. 'No way..this can't be real..maybe I'm still dreaming,' you thought reaching out your hand to gently touch his cheek.
Your hand caressed his surprisingly soft skin and this time your brows shot up. 'He's real and he's here..but..why?' Remembering how he told Dabi about your whereabouts the last time he found you, your eyes widened once more, this time out of fear. "Hawks..Please, please don't tell him where to find me."
A soft smile lit his face as he looked you over "Glad you remember who I am this time dove. But..who am I not supposed to tell?"
"..Dabi."
He raised an eyebrow at your answer. "..Why don't you want him to know?"
'Should I tell him? Probably not..Although..he hasn't really given me a reason not to trust him-'
Um hello? Are you forgetting that he's the reason you were freed in the first place?
'It's not like he single handedly made the law go away, that took government officials and political-'
That's beside the point..I don't trust him.
Hawks was watching you through your internal disagreement as it was taking you longer to respond this time. "..Be-..because..he said everything that happened between us was..meaningless…He told me he was going to..give me away."
"..That doesn't sound like Dabi at all."
'I thought the same thing..but,' "Doesn't make it hurt any less." You said more to yourself as you put your head back on Hawks chest and relaxed into him.
He seemed to mull over what you told him, eyes looking off to the side. "..Well, since you asked so nicely I won't tell him that you're here."
"..Actually..could you not tell anyone where I am?..He'll find out if too many people know.."
"..Sounds like you're going to great lengths to avoid one person. Everyone is worried about ya, you know. Some even think you'r already dead."
"..That's probably for the best.." You mumbled into his shirt.
"Is that really fair? Not letting the people who care about you know that you are at least still alive and well."
"..No one cares about slaves..let alone me."
"That's far from the truth." He said wrapping his arms around you. Your stomach chose this moment to growl very loudly, announcing your hunger and causing you to blush. Hawks continued, "When was the last time you ate something?"
The winged hero returned rather quickly with bags upon bags of non-perishable food. You starred and gawked in awe as his feathers carried everything into the cabin for you. It was very impressive to witness his quirk first hand.
"I had no idea you could control the individual feathers like that." You stated while standing close to the chair.
"There's a lot you don't know about me love."
'..Is he..flirting with me?' "..Were you able to find any of the books I asked for?"
"Yeah, I got a couple different options in one of the bags."
"..Thanks so much for doing this. I don't know how or if I'll ever be able to repay you, for helping me like this." You stated leaning against the back of the lazy boy.
"..Actually..there is something you can do for me." He said taking a step closer.
You raised an eyebrow not expecting him to have a response so quickly. "..What is it?"
He stepped into your personal space and put on his seductive charm. "..A kiss."
You could feel your cheeks heating up. 'I get the feeling that he meant to say something else.' "..That's it? Just, a kiss?"
"Yep. Just one little innocent kiss." The back of his hand caressed your cheek, putting you at ease only slightly before his finger tipped your chin up and he leaned in close to your face. Pausing when your noses where only a centimeter apart.
This was a little surprising since you didn't think someone like Hawks would even be attracted to someone like you. Back when you guys first met he was always helping you and Dabi so you felt you could trust him, but..this? '..Well, you do only live once right?' "..Okay," You whispered right before his lips made contact with yours in a soft chaste kiss.
However the kiss turned heated rapidly. It had been awhile since you'd been touched and now that Hawks was showing an interest in you, you were finding it hard to contain yourself.
Wanting to take things a step further you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him in so that his body was pressed against yours. This time you took control as you used your tongue to lick his lips, asking for entrance. When his lips parted you attacked his tongue with yours and they both began a very intense battle.
Hawks arms went for your legs as he scooped you up effortlessly and walked you to the bed. Using the last of his feathers he closed the door and began to remove his and your clothes.
The blonde was a specimen to behold, hovering above you in all his glory. 'Why does everyone I get with have these god-like physiques?..I feel so second rate compared to them…'
As if reading your mind he leaned in and whispered into your ear, "You really are beautiful."
"..Y-you really think so?"
He looked you in the eye and with a smile replied, "I don't think, I know." His lips kissed your collar and made a trail going up your neck.
'I can't believe this is happening.' Was your last thought before he slid inside your wet folds.
The next day you stood just outside the front door. Thankfully you where able to eat something of substance this morning so you were starting to feel like your old self again.
Hawks walked up behind you and put his hands on your hips and his head on your shoulder. "Sucks that I have to leave so soon."
"..It's okay. I don't want to cause anymore trouble for you then I already have." You confessed, fearing the hero would blame you for such things.
He bit your neck playfully and it made you smile. Last night was amazing and you'd be sad to see him go. But you understood that the lives of many always out weighed the life of one.
"You have never caused me trouble. I do worry about you though."
"..Why?" 'Why worry about something that is easily replaceable?'
"Your living in the woods, by yourself. With no means to defend yourself, how could I not worry."
You shrugged your shoulders. "..I've made it this long."
"True, but still.." He pulled a small feather from his wing and handed it to you. "Take this. If you squeeze it I'll know that you need me and I'll come running-well technically flying, but you know what I mean."
You laughed at his rambling. "Thanks, but I should be okay."
"..I'll come check on you as often as I can." He kissed your cheek and turned to jump off the steps. Wings flapped in the wind and he took to the sky.
It was nice having Hawks to confide in. He would bring you food and provide company every so often so at least you weren't starving anymore; nor were you lonely. But that didn't mean that your thoughts didn't still wonder to Dabi.
At times you wished you could wipe your memory clean of the white haired villain. But even if you did the man was an integral part of your childhood and upbringing. So part of him would remain with you forever.
They say you never forget your first and boy whoever they are, they're always right.
You can still go back. Admit that you made many mistakes-
'What good would that do?.. He said, that I've outlived my usefulness..that everything between us didn't matter…If that's what he really thinks then..what would be the point?'
You started a garden in the backyard, which didn't look like much now but would eventually be the main source of your food. Not wanting to rely on Hawks forever, you had asked him to grab you some books on the subject as well as some seeds to get you going.
While the weather began to warm up you noticed a few sprout-lings taking root. It was exciting seeing your hard work paying off, but you still had a ways to go.
That night you sat in front of the fireplace with a book that you were currently becoming obsessed with. The story was simple. A normal girl living in a normal southern town has to deal with the fact that vampires are real and living among them.
It sucked you in with its fantastical story telling, great characters and over arching story that spanned multiple books. These where some of your only source of entertainment for the time being. With no electricity you wouldn't be able to watch television or even listen to music for awhile.
But that was okay. You were learning so much, mostly about taking care of plants, but also. You were learning a lot about yourself. Like, you enjoy working with your hands. If your hands aren't moving you start to get antsy, then you start feeling anxious and you seem to almost spiral out of control.
But, when you cook, or clean, even something as simple as changing a lightbulb. All those things actually put a smile on your face. Which quickly turns to a frown as you realize that you are still brainwashed.
Sitting upright on the thin mattress you first looked to the fireplace which housed no flames causing you to raise an eyebrow. 'If there's no fire, then how am I..?'
Turning your head slowly you noted how empty the cabin looked that is until your eyes landed on him. You eyes widened at the sight of Dabi, his bright blue orbs locked onto yours as you began to move backwards.
His hand quickly grabbed your wrist, stopping your movements, and your frightened eyes gave you away.
"Are you trying to run from me?"
You shook your head 'no' and looked to the floor so as to avoid his stare.
"No? Then what do you call this?" His grip on your arm tightened causing you to wince.
"Pl-please, let me go." You pleaded wanting to get as far away from the flame user as you possibly could.
"Did you really think I wouldn't find you?" He questioned ignoring your pleas and pulling you closer.
You panicked and quickly put your hands on his chest to instead push yourself away from Dabi. 'I can't get close to him, not anymore.' "Please.." 'I'm tired of crying..' You finished in your head as tears fell down your face. "I don't want this."
The man was hard as stone and just as strong so it was proving impossible to fight him off as he wrapped his arms around you and held you against him. With a chuckle he replied, "You think this has ever been about what you wanted? You'r nothing more than property."
'Property..Not even a human..I'm just an object to him.'
"No matter where you go or who you'r with, you will always belong to me. So stop fighting and come home."
Sitting upright you tried to calm your breathing at the nightmare you just endured. With a heavy sigh you rubbed your face with your hand and stood with a stretch so you could get ready for the day.
The garden was coming along very nicely. The watermelons were starting to ripen along with the peppers and grapes. However the strawberries weren't doing so hot so you decided to dig them up and try again.
As you sat in the lazy boy chair eating your dinner a strange feeling started to creep up your abdomen. Thankfully it slowly fizzled away, like nothing was wrong.
However it came back with seemingly more urgency than before. With food still in your mouth you quickly swallowed and immediately realized your mistake as you shot up and almost dropped the bowl as you ran to the tub. Barely making it as you pushed the curtain back and heaved the contents of your stomach into the already stained semi-white bathtub.
Right when you thought it was over another wave of nausea hit you like a ton of bricks causing you to throw up once again.
When your body finally relaxed you sat down on the back of your legs and just starred at the dark wood flooring. 'Must've been the broth..guess that combination is no good.' You thought to yourself, standing to your full height.
Grabbing the last of your meal you quickly threw the rest of it back into the pot, noting that you would need to dispose of it in the morning.
Dabi approached his last resort already in a foul mood. "Did you find anything?"
Skeptic barely glanced at the white haired villain as he continued to type on his computer. "..Man, you have the weirdest obsessions. First your old man and your brother and now this slave gir-"
"Did you find something or not?" Dabi interrupted not trying to deal with the hackers persistent chatter.
"Someones needs to get laid." The long haired villain said still trying to get under the flame users skin.
"My patience is gone so I'm not in the mood for your games Skeptic."
He rolled his eyes underneath his long bangs. "No, I haven't found anything…You should probably just accept the fact that she'd either dead, hiding somewhere with no electricity or she left the country."
"If she's dead, then her body would show up-"
"Unless someone didn't want you to find it."
"We're talking about someone with no enemies-"
"Someone could be trying to get back at you.."
"..If she left the country she would've taken her things and left a paper trail."
"..Not necessarily.." It was like a lightbulb went off in his head. The hacker began typing even more furiously making loud tapping sounds in the otherwise quiet room. "..A while back I noticed smoke coming from this area. Could easily be someone who was just out enjoying the wilderness or-" The hacker turned to see Dabi's reaction but was surprised to see that the flame user was already gone. "Your welcome!" He yelled, as if the fellow villain was still within earshot.
Dabi had a strong case of deja vu happening as he stood on the edge of the clearing in front of a one story cabin. The smoke from the chimney was pouring out letting him know that someone was home.
Stepping onto the small porch he walked towards one of the windows to see inside. The glass was cloudy but he couldn't miss the feminine figure that walked from one side of the room to the other. It had to be her.
Heart rate increasing he made his way to the door and lifted his hand. It slammed open announcing his arrival while he stepped inside.
Your eyes widened and both eyebrows shot up. 'Oh no, no no no way. Not him!'
"The hell is this?!" He questioned looking around the small cabin. Noticing the pile of food that would've been impossible for you to get there by yourself, his face turned back towards you. To say he was angry was probably an understatement. "So, you had help. Who was it, huh?..Who else knows you'r here?"
"N-no one." You stuttered.
"Bullshit! Don't lie to me." He took a step towards you and you immediately took two steps back. Dabi was very attentive as he lowered his eyes, now giving you a stern glare. "So you are running to get away from me...I figured if I gave you what you wanted you'd happy."
"..Why would I want that?" You wanted to grab the feather Hawks gave you in case of emergencies, but you knew that would piss Dabi off more. 'Hawks would be outmatched anyway since he said his weakness is fire.'
"..So heroes are more you'r style now?" He took another long step towards you and you quickly tried to take three steps back. But the back of your legs hit the bed after one and a half. "Sorry I can't ride in on a white horse and save you every time. Hell don't you get tired of having to rely on everyone for everything?-"
"Of course I do! I know…I know that I'm a burden. Not just to you but everyone I come in contact with..That's why I ran..Hawks found me by accident and..and I should've left when he did, but I didn't..because despite everything he chose to still help me-"
He raised an eyebrow before interrupting you. "And what did you give him in return, hm?"
"That's none of your business-" His hand grabbed your throat and pulled you close to his face, your eyes met and you lost the will to speak. Starring into those bright blue eyes, you saw the real Dabi, the one that everyone else was terrified of; the one you'd hoped to never meet.
"I see that once again you have forgotten you'r place." He interrupted pushing you down onto the small cot. Grabbing your dress with his free hand he activated his quirk and a small flame ignited, quickly spreading to the rest of the material, disintegrating it within seconds. The same was done to your underwear, leaving you completely naked in front of him.
His eyes roamed your body, like he was looking for something, but you were starting to go into panic mode. 'What do I do? What do I do?!'
Fight damnit!
You started to squirm in his grasp and moved your arms to try and cover yourself, but his hand tightened and it cut off your breathing. Struggling to take in air you had no choice but to relax your body.
Once he saw that you were cooperating he loosened his grip on you. "..Pl-Please, Dabi-san-"
"Shut up."
"..M-Master Da-" Your airway was closed once more due to the increased pressure on your throat.
"I told you to shut the fuck up." He angled your chin so that you had no choice but to look at him. Even so you refused to let your eyes wander in his direction. "Look at me." He commanded.
You said nothing and refused to do as he said. Continuing to stare at the wooden floor off to the right of you.
"Damnit Mia, look at me!" His tone was demanding this time.
But you held your ground, even with his hand still around your throat. 'He could've already killed me, but he hasn't.'
An intense, almost indescribable pain reached all the way to your esophagus. Whatever was happening to you would probably do permanent lasting damage as you finally looked up at the only person who could be causing you such pain.
"Hn, look at you, like a cornered rabbit with nowhere to run."
Tears leaked from the corner of your eyes and you wanted to scream but when you opened your mouth, not much in the form of sound came out. And honestly it hurt to even try. 'It burns! I can't scream! He's going to kill me! I need to get away from him, but what can I do?' Realizing the position you were in you knew that you only had two options. Either stay still and just accept it or fight.
You moved your right leg so that it was in between both of his and quickly pushed your knee up. Effectively hitting him in the groin.
His eyes widened in shock and his hand let go of you. Taking in a deep breath you used your arms to push him to the side and bolted towards the door. But you didn't even make it a step away before he grabbed you by the back of the neck. "I'm getting really tired of these games Mia."
'He has some nerve..' You thought feeling angry at the man who refused to let you go. "So am I Master Dabi."
The way you spat out 'master Dabi' did not go unnoticed by him. "Hn, I really did go soft." He slammed you into the floor and you felt dizzy as your head took the majority of the impact. "I will say you did surprise me..I never expected you to fight.. However since you started it, I have no choice but to finish it."
You felt his hand that was around your throat heat up and it wasn't long before you were wailing in pain. Unable to make any noise since your vocal cords were obviously done for you thrashed about, trying in vain to get the stronger villain off of you.
Fists and feet connected with his arms, legs and torso but it didn't have any affect on him. All you succeeded in doing was making yourself tired. Not used to fighting or trying this hard to get someone off of your person you stilled to catch your breath as breathing was becoming hard for you to.
He released you and you quickly moved to crawl away, but once agin he grabbed you, this time by the ankle.
Pulling you backwards your nails scratched at the wood floor trying to find purchase on something, anything. Everything you tried just reinforced how weak you truly were.
He flipped you over and grabbed both of your wrists in one hand while pinning down your knees with his own.
"You started this fight, not me!" You yelled in his face, finally frustrated at it all. 'I can't believe he's blaming me for this.'
Dabi moved his free hand to his pants and you began to thrash about again to try and stop him. You watched as his already hard cock fell from the zipper and made its way closer to your center.
"No s-stop, ple-" His hand came up to cover your mouth as he forced himself inside you. The tears kept falling and you silently screamed. 'Not like this..'
His body slammed into you and for the first time in a very, very long time you felt no pleasure from it. Yes your body was responding, but it was more from the act itself not because it actually felt good.
Looking up at him only made you feel small and insignificant as he continued to use your body. His hand still covered your mouth so anything you could possibly say would be muffled regardless.
With all hope lost you looked off to the side and let your whole body go limp. It was like your soul floated out of your body and instead watched from the other side of the room as he ravaged you.
It was disturbing to watch him thrust in and out of you while your eyes looked so lifeless. In that moment you wanted to die. This had to be your rock bottom.
He finished inside you, leaving your body to feel unclean and tainted. And as he pulled out he said, "Stay here or run, it doesn't matter anymore..I'm done with you."
Once he readjusted his clothes he stood to his full height and looked down his nose at you. Refusing to look at him you closed your eyes and even though you'd been crying the whole time this was the first time you let it consume you.
The sadness washed over you like a warm blanket and actually made you feel safe as you let your mouth fall open. The sound was so low it was impossible for any human to hear. But it was obvious to anyone who looked at you.
You were hurt.
Devastated even as you laid there, on the floor. In the same place he left you. The sound of his footsteps making their way to the door, and eventually retreating to the point of nothing didn't bring you any type of comfort.
You didn't move from that spot on the floor. Unable to come to grips with reality your mind raced with so many thoughts that you couldn't keep any of them straight. 'He's going to come back back. Yeah to kill me. Maybe that was his messed up way of saying goodbye. Nope, I've been wrong about everything else. Something still doesn't seem right. He made it very clear. He did say he was done with me this time..' Eventually you drifted off to sleep. Still naked, on the floor.
A loud knock on the door announced Hawks arrival as he pushed open the door. Silence followed as he stepped inside and looked around. He finally spotted you still in bed and decided to join you.
Lifting the thin blanket he almost sat down before you turned around and yelled at him. "The hell are you doing?"
"Woah.. what's wrong?" He stopped mid motion and instead remained standing as he looked you over.
"Nothings wrong..I'm fine..I just.." You refused to look at the hero, instead letting your eyes stay fixated on the wall next to you.
"You don't look fine." He said taking note of the bruises on your wrists and neck.
"..Well I am. And I don't need your help anymore. So..go away." You said with finality.
But Hawks was having non of that as he raised an eyebrow. "Mia you kno-"
"I said get out! I don't want to see you anymore!"
"..But I can see the burn on your neck and I'm concerned-"
"Well don't be…Just leave, please." You pleaded still not willing to look at the blonde behind you.
He backed away from the bed and watched as you laid down and wrapped yourself up in the blanket. Hawks could tell that someone had assaulted you and he had a pretty good idea who. Knowing that he had to respect your privacy he turned and left the small cabin. But he'd be back to at least check in on you.
You stood in a vast space of black nothingness. Spinning around in the dark you began to panic internally at the physical manifestation of your loneliness. Running forwards you tried to see just how far you could go before it would end.
Dropping to your knees after a few minutes you realized that there was no getting out of this place. Drops of water landed on your hands and you let out a scream of frustration.
Listening to the sound of your voice echo gave you a better understanding of just how big of a space you were in.
Suddenly you noticed something.
A glow seemingly from nowhere appeared a couple few in front of you. It started off really tiny but slowly grew into an even bigger and brighter ball of light.
It got so bright that you had to look away and cover your eyes.
Cautiously you dropped your arm and opened your eyes. Before you stood Master Dabi and he had a glow around his body, similar to a halo effect.
You starred at his god-like image and crawled toward the divine being. Only he never got any closer. It was as if some invisible force was keeping you two apart.
"Please..This isn't what I wanted."
He didn't say anything.
"I don't want to be alone. I want to be with you..no matter the cost, please!"
"Say something Master, please?"
"Maybe now you'll understand why you and I can never be."
"No! I'll never understand when you were the one making me believe that we could be more..so much more…You lied to me!"
"Hold your tongue!" The force of his hand somehow sent you flying even though his hand never physically touched you. "You telling me that I was wrong? You chose to believe what you wanted because you needed it to survive. Making up a love story in your head for the sake of your sanity. Ha, I feel sorry for you and that's as far as my feelings go when it comes to you."
Pushing yourself upright you felt the familiar wetness on your face that signaled you were crying. Wiping your eyes with the back of your hand you sniffed trying to remain calm. However shiny silver metal cuffs attached to chains appeared around your wrists and neck. The chain at your wrist connected your hands so their movement was restricted.
Following the length of the chain on your neck you saw that it ended in Dabis hand. Looking at his face you saw his smile transform into an evil grin that left you speechless.
He tugged on the metal and you had no choice but to stand quickly and stumble back to your Master. 'I hate this.'
You noted that this time you were able to bypass the invisible barrier and stand directly in front of Dabi.
"Now that you understand your place, let's go home."
"..What if..I don't want to?"
A frown overtook his features. He was obviously not happy with your answer. "If that's what you want then fine, learn the hard way."
The blackness around your feet started to move up and over your body, sucking you into the ground below. Panic consumed you once more as your eyes widened. "No!" You screamed before being completely consumed by the floor.
Eyes snapping open you quickly closed them again and took in a deep breath through your nose before exhaling it through your mouth. 'Guess it's time to get up and stop wallowing in self pity.' You sat up and swung your legs over the edge.
'..But what's the point? What am I living for?..I'm barely existing at this rate..'
You stretched your tired limbs and felt a slight pressure on your lower back. Looking down at yourself your eyes couldn't help but to widen 'What the..when the hell did this happen?'
Apparently you'd put on more weight than you initially thought, which was surprising considering you where eating significantly less since coming to the cabin. You chalked it up to the fact that you were still getting used to things in a new environment, along with a diet that consisted of a decent amount of instant ramen and other junk food. Initially you figured you had put on a few pounds but once you started gardening you really thought your body would snap back to normal.
'I never had a problem with my weight before..'
Still starring at your bulging stomach you were unsure what to make of it. 'This doesn't make any sense. Am I constipated?..No..is it swollen due to my lack of nutrition?..Maybe it's just me being stressed.'
You poked at your oversized gut and was shocked when you saw and felt something inside your body move. '..Please tell me it's gas.' When your stomach morphed into another shape before resuming its overly plumpness your mouth fell open and your thoughts began to race. 'Holy..is this? Am I…pregnant?!…No, I can't be, right?! Not after all this time, and all the different men, why now?'
Don't overreact, you don't know for sure if you'r actually pregnant.
'Actually..If you think about it, it all adds up. The nausea, the strong sense of smell, being forgetful and the bulging stomach. I may have never been pregnant before but even I know the symptoms..'
Say you are pregnant. What are you going to do?
'..I..don't know..But I know my options are limited.'
Wouldn't it be wise to go back to your apartment? If you tell them what happened maybe they can help-
'No! There's no one I can trust right now..andI 'm tired of people tell me what to do…If my belly continues to grow..if it turns out that I am pregnant. I will have this baby and raise it by myself. I helped with Shoto when he was born so I already have an idea of what I'm getting into.'
How do you expect to be a decent mother when you never even had a good example yourself?
'..I will already be a better mother then mine ever was, because I'll be there for my kid. I'll be there every step of the way.'
