Welcome to my first attempt at a fanfiction! I am Asmodeus, a 23yo dude with a mad passion for writing and reading. I have written small stories before, mostly horror, but after reading some Pokemon Fanfictions I had an epiphany, and it is time to write one of my own. This chapter is just an introduction to Ash's Pokemon. No action, not yet. I have 2 chapters ready, but I wanted to start with this. Battling will not be the main part of the story, therefore I want readers to know Ash's arsenal. It is written in the form of an official Aether Foundation Document. As for the fanfiction, the battle style will be a mix between games and anime, with a MASSIVE inspiration from the phenomenal fanfiction called "Traveler" by The Straight Elf. The focus will be mostly intrigue, a bit of drama, a bit of mystery, and yes romance. I mean, the Ash here will be significantly more shitty than other iterations. Not obnoxiously so, he has descended into some bad habits, like smoking and drinking. That was a heads up. Ash will need some form of anchor to help him get back on his feet mentally. Ash right now is insanely strong, and he will prove it in the King's Coronation Tournament, a massive tournament with people from around the world joining and battling each other to decide the strongest trainer in the world, the Pokemon King. I would want to make it Pokemon Legend, but it's already used by LegionZ in his fanfiction "The Chosen One's Wrath", which is also a great fanfiction. Now, to this chapter. Don't think it's just Ash's Pokemon and their moves. Every Pokemon has some sort of notes, and some of them reveal big plot points for the story. What happened in the Rainbow Rocket Incident? What happened after that? What happened with half of his friends? Who are his Elite Four? What is looming in the horizon? Everything will be answered in due time. For now, enjoy getting to know Ash's Pokemon family, with 2 surprise members in the end. Let's begin!

Article 4: The Champion's Pokemon

Compiled and documented by Aether President Lusamine Aether.

Greninja

Gender: Male

Ability:
Battle Bond

Moves:
Hydro Pump - Water Shuriken - Hydro Cannon - Dark Pulse - Hyper Beam - Night Slash - Acrobatics - Aerial Ace - Protect - Double Team - U-Turn - Giga Impact

Combos:
Aqua Shredder (Double Team + Water Shuriken + Aerial Ace / Doesn't throw the Shuriken, uses it as a blade, usable only in Ash-Greninja form)

Important Notes: Greninja's unique ability to transform to Ash-Greninja has replaced other abilities of the species (Torrent/Protean), but that DOES NOT make it weaker. After transformation, Greninja and Ash Ketchum share vision, pain, and thoughts. Has been observed to be particularly strong beyond what it usually shows when Ash Ketchum is in a particularly foul mood. It is also one of the few that can actually calm Ash Ketchum. Do not provoke it's ire.

Lucario/Mega-Lucario

Gender: Male

Ability:
Justified
Mega Ability: Adaptability

Moves:
Aura Sphere - Swords Dance - Close Combat - Agility - Extreme Speed - Reversal - Counter - Flash Cannon - Bone Rush - Meteor Mash - Drain Punch - Dragon Pulse - Double Team - Protect - Bullet Punch - Detect - Laser Focus + Life Dew

Combos:
Mach Crash (Agility + Extreme Speed + Laser Focus + Meteor Mash OR Drain Punch / Very draining normally, easily used if Mega-Evolved)
Tag Destruction (Double Team + Extreme Speed + Close Combat + Agility / Drains a hefty amount of stamina along with the defense drops)
Double Tap (Counter + Reversal after counter)
Aura Pulse (Dragon Pulse + Aura Sphere / Aura infused Dragon Pulse basically)

Important Notes: Shares many traits with Greninja and they have been training together to improve on their bond with Ash Ketchum (There are speculations that the Ash-Greninja form is a result of Ash Ketchum's incredibly high Aura affinity). Can also form an Aura bond with Ash Ketchum, sharing pain, vision and thoughts. He is, however, calmer than Greninja and is more effective in calming him down.

One year after the Rainbow Rocket Incident, or RRI (See Article 2: Rainbow Rocket Incident (RRI) under File 0X: Ashton Hadrian Ketchum), Ash Ketchum along with his Lucario left on a journey to the Kingdom of Rota to receive Aura Guardian training (See File 223C: The Aura Guardians) that lasted for approximately 18 months (January 2018 until July 2019), 6 of which were spent training in Iron Island of the Sinnoh Region under the tutelage of Aura Guardian Riley. Apparently, Riley has stated that both Ash Ketchum and his Lucario have Aura potent enough to feel like "second nature" to them. When they returned to Alola, Lucario was capable of flawless Telepathy, and Ash Ketchum has since then gained the ability to communicate with Pokemon (Poke-speech) through the same telepathic abilities given by Aura (For full analysis of Ashton Hadrian Ketchum's abilities, see Article 1: The First Champion of Alola under File 0X: Ashton Hadrian Ketchum). Lucario's way of speech is heavily influenced by Ash Ketchum, using casual slurs and talking in a relaxed, adult, street style.

Sceptile/Mega-Sceptile

Gender: Male

Ability:
Overgrow
Mega Ability: Lightning Rod

Moves:
Dual Chop - X-Scissor - Giga Drain - Leaf Storm - Screech - Solar Beam - Solar Blade - Sunny Day - Cross Poison - Leaf Blade - Acrobatics - Throat Chop - Dragon Claw - Dragon Dance - Crush Claw - Synthesis

Combos:
Solar Mayhem (Solar Blade that burst in Solar Beam upon impact, extremely draining and leaves Sceptile immobile for a bit)
Poison Blade (Poison Leaf Blade basically)

Important Notes: Has a deep hatred for the Legendary Pokemon Darkrai. Not because of Darkrai in general, but because of a specific Darkrai used by Pokemon Trainer Tobias Takuto during the Lily of The Valley Conference of 2012. Lucario has stated "Sceptile does not hate Darkrai per-se, he rather hates that Father (Ash Ketchum) lost his chance to win his first Conference that year because of a trainer using a Darkrai, as well as a Latios. He considers it, in human terms, bullshit that the use of Legendary Pokemon was allowed in a League sanctioned Tournament". Sceptile was the Pokemon that dealt the finishing blow to Tobias' Darkrai.

Sceptile is either in love with Ash's Meganium, or is in a relationship with Ash's Meganium. While apparently VERY close and attracted to it, neither Ash nor any of his Pokemon have confirmed or denied it.

Pidgeot/Mega-Pidgeot

Gender: Female

Ability:
Keen Eye
Mega Ability: No Guard

Moves:
Hurricane - Air Slash - Brave Bird - Agility - Tailwind - Quick-Attack - Defog - Giga Impact - Steel Wing - Protect - Hyper Beam - Twister - Aerial Ace

Combos:
Crash Landing (Tailwind + Agility + Quick Attack + Giga Impact OR Brave Bird, can use both if fully healthy / Obviously damages user a bit, damages user a lot if it misses, which is VERY unlikely, also leaves user immobile for a bit after use)
Blender (Hurricane OR Twister OR BOTH+ Air Slash / A hurricane of wind blades, don't end up in it)

Important Notes: The fastest member in Ash Ketchum's family of Pokemon. She often roams around the Alola Region in constant vigilance to detect any shady activity. If she notices any minor incident like theft or bullying (usual culprits being irrelevant members of Team Skull) she has clearance to deliver justice on her own. She has a habit of chasing minor thugs away by smacking them with her wings or pinching their ears with her beak. Pidgeot is sometimes too proud of herself for dealing with the minor thugs.

Naganadel

Gender: -

Ability:
Beast Boost

Moves:
Dragon Pulse - Thunderbolt - Poison Jab - Fell Stinger - Venom Drench - Venoshock - Toxic - Nasty Plot - Hyper Beam - Protect - Rest - Hex - Flamethrower - Sleep Talk - Sludge Bomb - Dark Pulse - Draco Meteor

Combos:
Toxic Blast (Toxic OR Sludge Bomb + Flamethrower to blow up the poison)
Dragonbolt (Thunderbolt + Dragon Pulse variant, effectively shapes the Thunderbolt to resemble a dragon, also giving it draconic properties)
Toxic Meteor (Covers the starting meteor with sludge, effectively covering the meteor with poison that gets burned at the fall, releasing toxic gases and amplifying the explosions on impact)

Important Notes: Sometimes, it is spotted leaving through an Ultra Wormhole with the help of a Solgaleo (Raised and named Nebby by Lillie Aether). Only Ash Ketchum and Lusamine Aether know what it is doing when it leaves through a Wormhole for a day.

Goodra

Gender: Female

Ability:
Hydration

Moves:
Rain Dance, Power Whip, Aqua Tail, Poison Tail, Dragon Pulse, Thunder, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Outrage, Sludge Wave, Endure, Rock Slide

Combos:
Acid Tail (Aqua Tail to coat it with raging water, Poison Tail to infuse toxic sludge into the raging water)

Important Notes: While usually very friendly, Goodra often shows a sadistic nature during fights against particularly obnoxious Pokemon and trainers. Also loves hugging Ash Ketchum.

Tyranitar/Mega-Tyranitar

Gender: Male

Ability
: Sand Stream
Mega Ability: Sand Stream

Moves:
Stone Edge, Earthquake, Hyper Beam, Dark Pulse, Giga Impact, Iron Defense, Ice Fang, Thunder Punch, Shadow Claw, Iron Tail, Superpower, Foul Play, Focus Blast

Combos:
Hyperdark Lance*
Void Cannon (A heavily toned down Hyperdark Lance, effectively acting as a regular Hyper Beam infused with a Dark Pulse. Ash Ketchum's Tyranitar can actually hold and control the Cannon for more than 15 seconds, thanks to it's proficiency with the banned Hyperdark Lance)
Landscape (Earthquake + Stone Edge, tremors that also cause spears of rock to emerge during the earthquake)

Important Notes: Hyperdark Lance is an ultra condenced Hyper Beam infused with absurd amounts of void energy from a supercharged Dark Pulse, the result is a tiny beam of void energy that cleanly erases everything in it's path. It launches with unprecedented speed and power and testing suggests that it goes on for 5+ miles before just evaporating, removing everything in it's path without a sound except the shattering of the sound barrier when it's launches. Ashton Hadrian Ketchum (Creator of the combo technique) refused developing the move further, because anything more than a single small burst endangers his Tyranitar's life and well being due to over-exertion. Ash Ketchum refused to disclose Mega Evolution test results on the move, and destroyed all research on it, as well as put a clause on researching it in any shape or form, stating that anyone trying to research the technique can be jailed indefinitely under the authority of the Champion of Alola, with the offense being "Development of war-weapons of mass destruction". Obviously, the move is banned from any shape of League Regulated battle due to it's destructive and lethal capabilities. Any person caught using the move in underground battles is to be immediately arrested and questioned before delivering sentence. Ash Ketchum is the only person in this world allowed to use the technique outside of regulated battles. Hyperdark Lance has been noted to cause significant damage, irreversible damage to the Legen-

(Data corrupted. Error code: 0X)

Decidueye

Gender: Male

Ability:
Long Reach

Moves:
Spirit Shackle - Phantom Force - Shadow Sneak - Spite - Sucker Punch - Leaf Blade - Feather Dance - Brave Bird - Psycho Cut - Leaf Storm - Solar Beam - Solar Blade - Hyper Beam - Giga Impact - Hex - Steel Wing - Air Slash - Sleep Talk - Snore - Rest - Seed Bomb - Hurricane - Swords Dance - Energy Ball - Synthesis - Sunny Day - Defog - Double Team - Frenzy Plant - Grass Pledge - Giga Drain - Confuse Ray - Dual Wingbeat - Grassy Glide - Imprison (See Important Notes on Imprison)

Combos:
Haunting Invasion (Double Team into Phantom Force, using Spirit Shackle upon exiting the Phantom Force. Nigh impossible to block or evade fully. Not as strong, however because of the split focus)
Frenzy Drain (Frenzy Plant with Giga Drain properties. That's basically it)

Important Notes: Decidueye is a unique case of a Pokemon. It can lull itself to sleep at any point of the day, even during battle. Ash Ketchum is able to immediately wake it up if need be, but he has been considerate to it's love for sleeping, and has developed a fighting pattern that takes advantage of it's sleep. It's able to move and dodge instinctually during sleep, and has developed an oddly accurate ability to use Sleep Talk efficiently. Decidueye's use of Sleep Talk often seems too good to be randomly used. This however does not apply at the full extent if Decidueye is under the effects of Rest, as it is using most of it's energy to heal. Aether scientists speculate that Ash Ketchum's aura powers can actually manipulate Decidueye's dreams to make him use the best option by instinct. Ash Ketchum has denied those claims, stating that it is too dangerous to tap into a Pokemon's thoughts while it is sleeping. Also, Decidueye apparently knows an absurd amount of moves, way more than any other Pokemon observed. Only Psychic types of known brain power (Namely Alakazam) have been documented with knowledge of that many moves. The reason for this is the knowledge of the move Imprison. While Decidueye does not use all of it's moves (It only uses a fraction of them to actual competitive usability, as utilizing that many moves can drive a Pokemon to madness or permanent brain damage), the move Imprison does not need mastery of every move, just the mere knowledge of it. Specifically, Decidueye only utilizes the following moves:

Spirit Shackle - Phantom Force - Double Team - Frenzy Plant - Giga Drain - Brave Bird - Imprison - Defog - Sucker Punch - Leaf Blade - Shadow Sneak - Psycho Cut - Sleep Talk - Rest - Dual Wingbeat.

Also, the most amazing part, Decidueye has never used any of it's "Filler moves" under Sleep Talk, and never used them under a command from Ash Ketchum. It's knowledge of the moves was only exhibited in a span of 31 days, where Ash Ketchum would show a move once a day or once every 2 days, in order to not strain Decidueye's mental capabilities.

Blastoise/Mega-Blastoise

Gender: Male

Ability:
Torrent
Mega Ability: Mega Launcher

Moves:
Flash Cannon - Water Pulse - Skull Bash - Gyro Ball - Protect - Ice Beam - Dragon Pulse - Dark Pulse - Aura Sphere - Hydro Cannon - Rain Dance - Life Dew - Mirror Coat - Earthquake - Hydro Pump

Combos:
Tri-Cannon (A barrage of 3 out of 4 moves. Water Pulse is always used, and the other 2 are between Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse and Dragon Pulse. Blastoise knows when to use what. MEGA EVOLVED ONLY)
Steel Rocket (A Hydro Pump propelled Skull Bash. It feels worse than it sounds. The Hydro Cannon propelled variant is banned from competitive use due to it's destructive capabilities. Has been able to blow a hole on the naturally AND psychically reinforced walls of Alola Coliseum. Doesn't seem to exhibit negative effects on Blastoise, although it always looks a bit dazed for a couple seconds. Ash Ketchum doesn't use the move except absolutely necessary, claiming that Blastoise is "Too hard headed and proud to admit recoil")
Roadroller (Hydro Pump powered Gyro Ball. Often used to roll on the ground in incredible speeds, looking like a overcharged Rollout. Blastoise often, if not always, comes out dizzy after using the move. A Hydro Cannon variant is nigh impossible, the move being strong enough to lift Blastoise in the air instead of boosting a roll on it's opponent)

Important Notes: Blastoise is the chief of the Alola Pokemon Firefighting Squad, founded by Ash Ketchum and Blastoise themselves. Ash Ketchum has stated that Blastoise, as a Squirtle, was incredibly keen in firefighting, and his former pals of the "Squirtle Squad" became firefighters after Squirtle joined Ash in his travels. When the APFS was founded, Ash Ketchum left and returned with 4 Wartortles, which became Blastoise's elite Firefighters and lead the squad when Blastoise is with Ash, which is all the time, except when there are particularly dangerous and uncontrollable fires or disputes within the APFS, in which case, Blastoise visit along with a poker-faced Venusaur belonging to Ash Ketchum (Ash Ketchum commented on this, stating that Venusaur is, quote: "Particularly compliant to Blastoise's need for help regarding leadership, but that does not mean he actually enjoys taking care of yet another group of Pokemon". Venusaur often ends disputes in the APFS within minutes, and lately, things stop the moment Venusaur is sighted. Ash Ketchum believes that eventually disputes will stop with a mere mention of Venusaur.

Venusaur/Mega-Venusaur

Gender: Male

Ability: Chlorophyll
Mega Ability: Thick Fat

Moves:
Petal Blizzard - Sunny Day - Solar Beam - Synthesis - Power Whip* (Check Notes) - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb - Toxic - Venoshock - Weather Ball - Safeguard - Grassy Terrain - Earth Power - Ingrain - Frenzy Plant

Combos:
Solar Infinity (An odd, and frankly absurd combination of Synthesis and Solar Beam under harsh sunlight. Synthesis is charging sunlight inside Venusaur to heal it, and if it is sufficiently healthy, it can use a never ending Solar Beam that abuses the excess charge from Synthesis, since it has no reason to heal further. It has the normal potency of Solar Beam, if not greater, but it isn't something that to aim properly. It can move the beam, but it's a slow movement and easy to avoid. Ash Ketchum uses it only against extremely bulky or resistant Pokemon that have been immobilized or staggered. If it lands, it does not cease until the opposing Pokemon faints)
Vine Lash (Moves like a whip. Power Whip variant: See Notes)
Vine Crash (Moves like a spear. Power Whip variant: See Notes)
Vine Snatch (Tightly wraps the target. Power Whip variant: See Notes)
Lethal Whiplash (Combination of Vine Lash into Crash into Snatch, ending in repeated pummeling on the ground. Variant of Power Whip: See Notes. MEGA EVOLVED ONLY)
Frenzy Drain (Frenzy Plant + Giga Drain)

Important Notes: Venusaur is recognized and respected as the leader of Ash Ketchum's Pokemon. Strength being irrelevant in that feat, Venusaur, since his days as a Bulbasaur, has been the most mature, serious and level-headed Pokemon in Ash Ketchum's arsenal. During the days of Ash's travels, Venusaur was staying in the ranch of Professor Samuel Oak, where it would maintain peace and order among all Pokemon together with Samuel Oak's Arcanine. It's attitude, mannerisms and intelligence has granted him the title of Peacekeeper among the Champion's Pokemon even during their stay in the Champion Quarters Pokemon Resort (CQPR) of the Aether Foundation. It is highly advised to NEVER provoke Venusaur's ire, and above all, never carry malicious intent to any Pokemon in Venusaur's vicinity, as jail time will prove mercy in a scenario like that. A proud defender of all Pokemon, Venusaur can and HAS inflicted permanent damage and death to individuals that proved malicious against Pokemon (see Article 5: Attempted homicide against Ashton Hadrian Ketchum's Pokemon under File 493D: Aether Raid).

Venusaur, apparently, learned, mastered and perfected Power Whip on it's own during it's tenure in Oak Ranch, around the 5th year of Ash Ketchum's travels (The Unova Journey). It usually used Vine Whip to keep Ranch Pokemon in check, and after it learned Power Whip, it started using that. After continuous use of the move in a span of 10 years, and after having already mastered Vine Whip, it has perfected it to the point of using the energy of Power Whip passively and indefinitely. That has enabled Ash Ketchum to patent moves like Vine Lash, Vine Crash, Vine Snatch and Lethal Whiplash. While Venusaur can usually utilize 2 of the moves in succession, Lethal Whiplash is impossible to execute as intended without Mega-Evolving, as regular Venusaur has 2 vines as opposed to the 4 vines it's Mega Evolution utilizes.

Melmetal

Gender: -

Ability: Iron Fist

Moves: Thunder Punch - Ice Punch - Mega Punch - Double Iron Bash - Acid Armor - Thunder Wave - Brick Break - Darkest Lariat - Giga Impact - Earthquake - Rock Slide - Gyro Ball - Heavy Slam

Combos:
Cryoshock (Double Iron Bash, augmented with one "arm" using Thunder Punch, the other using Ice Punch)
Gyro Lariat (Gyro Ball into Darkest Lariat, taking advantage of the momentum)

Important Notes: The only recorded Melmetal in the world, and in the family of the Champion of Alola. Aether Foundation scouts sent to find Meltan around the world have found 3 colonies of Meltan in the Orre Region, 1 colony in the far north of Sinnoh Region, and a couple of singular sightings in Unova Region (Giant Chasm and Desert Resort) and Kalos Region (Terminus Cave). The colonies are under extreme surveillance in case of Pokemon Poachers or Criminal Organizations attempt to take them (See File 42F: Criminal Organizations). Melmetal feeds on, obviously, metal. But it feeds on insane amounts of metal. It has a weird love for frying pans specifically.

Charizard/Mega-Charizard Y

Gender: Male

Ability: Blaze
Mega Ability: Drought

Moves:
Flamethrower - Inferno - Blast Burn - Air Slash - Solar Beam - Rock Slide - Thunder Punch - Overheat - Dragon Pulse - Hurricane - Dragon Rush - Dragon Claw - Heat Wave - Earthquake

Combos:
Molten Sun (Launches Solar Beam and flaps wings to unleash a Heat Wave at the same time. Way more potent when Mega-Evolved)
Flame Cutter (Heatwave + Air Slash)
Descent of The Dragon God (Dragon Rush + Dragon Claw to hit grounded opponent, into Earthquake the moment of impact. If used against a flying opponent, it tries to smash it to the ground with him)

Important Notes: Do not ever disturb it's nap, only specific Pokemon and Ash Ketchum can wake him up without getting flamed in response. It is rarely seen leaving the Champion's Quarters, flying away towards Kanto or Johto. Many times, instead of it leaving, another Charizard (Named Charla, and it's apparently Charizard's mate) is seen flying into the Champion Quarters Pokemon Resort. Do not disturb it's arrival under any circumstances.

Infernape

Gender: Male

Ability: Blaze* (See Notes)

Moves:
Mach Punch - Flare Blitz - Close Combat - Fire Spin - Acrobatics - Dig - Blast Burn - U-Turn - Fake Out - Thunderpunch - Counter - Earthquake - Power Up Punch - Poison Jab

Combos:
Hell's Advent (By Digging multiple times under the enemy in a specific pattern, Infernape stops in the middle of his underground creation, starts stomping on the ground to apply Earthquake while it explodes in a mighty Blast Burn. The result is the collapse of the whole cave system with his opponent on top, but instead of Infernape being buried, the Blast Burn seeking an escape blows upwards and through the Dig holes, resembling a volcanic eruption. The move often affects the whole field, making it a mess of flames and molted rocks and dirt, which gave it the name Hell's Advent)
Sun God (A very, very intense Flare Blitz under the effects of Infernape's Blaze)
Mach Combat (Continuous applications of Mach Punch during Close Combat)

Important Notes: Being another one of Ash Ketchum's unique Pokemon, Infernape's Blaze is an insanely powerful version of the ability. Testing results show that the Blaze used by Infernape is 2-3 times more potent than common Blaze abilities seen in other starter Fire-types. Infernape, as a Chimchar, was under the ownership of Alola Elite Four Paul, where it was apparently abused. Elite Four Paul has long since reformed, and now it has respect for Infernape, and vice-versa (For more details on Elite Four Paul's history see File 0Z: Paul Shinji)

Incineroar

Gender: Male

Ability: Intimidate

Moves:
Darkest Lariat - Flare Blitz - Brutal Swing - Drain Punch - Cross Chop - Throat Chop - Flamethrower - Thunderpunch - Stomping Tantrum - Bulk Up - Blaze Kick - Power Trip - Fake Out

Combos: -

Important Notes: Incineroar does not favor combination techniques due to it's MMA fighting style. It is, however, more than fast and intelligent enough to follow multiple commands in quick succession, often times not even giving his opponents a chance to breathe before chaining different moves. Often spotted sparring with Hawlucha, Infernape, Sirfetch'd and Lucario. It also has it's own TV in the Champion Quarters Pokemon Resort, where it watches Battle Royal Dome matches together with Lucario, Infernape, Hawlucha, Sirfetch'd and Noivern.

Lycanroc Dusk Form

Gender: Male

Ability: Tough Claws

Moves:
Crush Claw - Accelerock - Giga Impact - Scary Face - Howl - Stone Edge - Reversal - Counter - Outrage* - Double Team - Psychic Fangs - Drill Run - Foul Play - Play Rough - Crunch

Combos:
Accel-Impact (Accelerock infused with Giga Impact)
Double Tap (Counter into Reversal)
Fright Trip (Scary Face + Howl)

Important Notes: Yet another Ash Ketchum exclusive, as this Pokemon is the only documented case of a Dusk Form Lycanroc in the world. No one knows the exact requirements for this specific evolution to happen, but it obviously needs to happen at dusk. It is particularly proud of it's fur, but it is also extremely sensitive about it. If it's fur gets dirty in any way, it goes into fits of rage, and only at this scenario it is able to use the move Outrage.

Gengar/Mega-Gengar

Gender: Male

Ability: Cursed Body
Mega Ability: Shadow Tag

Moves:
Haze - Shadow Punch - Shadow Ball - Will-O-Wisp - Sludge Wave - Hex - Dazzling Gleam - Ice Punch - Phantom Force - Psychic - Dark Pulse - Spite - Destiny Bond - Night Shade - Confuse Ray - Focus Blast

Combos:
Psychic Manipulation (Generic manipulation of his other moves with the use of Psychic, most notably Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Sludge Wave and Will-O-Wisp)
Shadow Pulse (Shadow Ball covered in rings from Dark Pulse)
Shadow Barrage (Multiple Shadow Balls hurled against an opponent)

Important Notes: Gengar is single-handedly responsible for Ash Ketchum collecting every single Mega Stone, with the help of Champion Steven Stone of Hoenn and Champion Diantha Carne of Kalos. It all started after witnessing Lucario's Mega Evolution, with Gengar constantly begging Ash to Mega Evolve as well. Ash complied, but that led to all his other Pokemon to ask for Mega Evolution, and that led to Ash chasing the Mega Stones. Ash Ketchum has issued an official Alola Champion request to Aether Foundation to acquire a copy of any newly discovered Mega Stone. Apparently, the Champion's Infernape is waiting (kind of) patiently for a potential Mega Evolution on it's species.

Dragonite

Gender: Female

Ability: Multiscale

Moves:
Dragon Rush - Draco Meteor - Dragon Claw - Hurricane - Hyper Beam - Dragon Dance - Rain Dance - Thunder - Ice Beam - Fire Punch - Safeguard - Roost - Agility - Extreme Speed - Water Pulse - Steel Wing

Combos:
Lightspeed Crash (After a couple of Dragon Dances, Dragonite uses an Agility infused Extreme Speed, often accompanied by either Dragon Claw, or worse, Dragon Rush. Dragonite's movement is not visible when it executes Lightspeed Crash, but it's almost immobile after using it)
Draco Meteor Shower (Dragon Rush followed by controlled meteor from a variation of Draco Meteor. The effect is a charge into the opposition, followed by the controlled meteors)

Important Notes: Extremely friendly against anyone getting a minimum of neutral attitude from Ash Ketchum. Vicious hugger, but not dangerously so. It's personality is the reason the Champion's Dragonite cannot learn Outrage.

Sirfetch'd

Gender: Male

Ability: Scrappy

Moves:
First Impression - Iron Defense - Detect - Meteor Assault - Brutal Swing - Leaf Blade - Night Slash - Final Gambit* - Brave Bird - Counter - Knock Off - Poison Jab

Combos: -

Important Notes: Chivalrous and proud, Sirfetch'd does not show any interest in utilizing potential combination techniques, claiming (As always, according to the Telepath Lucario) that they are "unnecessary gimmicks". In reality, it just believes that combos will give him an unnecessary edge, and prefers an honorable fight using normal moves. It also counts the opposition using combination techniques, as "they need the gimmicks to match it's fighting prowess".

Ash Ketchum has never used Final Gambit once, and he stated that if he can avoid using it for the rest of his life, he will die without using it.

Dracovish

Gender: -

Ability: Strong Jaw

Moves:
Fishious Rend - Crunch - Ice Fang - Psychic Fangs - Dragon Rush - Liquidation - Ancient Power - Stomping Tantrum - Iron Head - Outrage

Combos: -

Important Notes: Apparently, Dracovish lacks the mental capabilities to memorize and effectively utilize combination techniques, and it can only learn 10 moves, and that barely. That conclusion comes from the fact that Dracovish sometimes forgets what Liquidation is. Despite it's flaws however, it is a very friendly Pokemon, which is a mighty surprise coming from a fossil. It has a nasty habit of biting the heads of those he likes, a trait shared among a few other of Ash's Pokemon.

Noivern

Gender: Male

Ability: Infiltrator

Moves:
Boomburst - Uproar - Supersonic - Hyper Voice - Screech - Dragon Pulse - Heat Wave - Draco Meteor - Tailwind - Hurricane - Acrobatics - Dark Pulse - Defog - Flying Press*

Combos:
Cacophony of Madness*
Molten Chorus (Heat Wave infused Boomburst. The heat helps the soundwaves travel almost twice as fast, and they are capable of inducing burns)
Draconic Downpour (After launching the singular Draco Meteor, Noivern flies above it's highest point to glide there. The moment the Meteor splits into multiple, a Boomburst breaks the meteors into many, many smaller rocks. The result is a heavy rain of molten, draconic rocks. Although the damage is way less from a single pebble, the sheer amount is extremely hard to avoid, which often results to many more pebbles landing on the opposition)

Important Notes: Noivern was hatched from an Egg and raised mostly by Ash Ketchum and Hawlucha. Noivern recognizes them as Father and Big Brother, respectively. Since the first days of Noivern's life, Hawlucha has been trying to teach it the move Flying Press, which Noivern is INCAPABLE OF LEARNING. After 9 years, however, Noivern SOMEHOW managed to actually USE the move Flying Press. And it can use it ON DEMAND. This specific phenomenon has been driving most Aether Foundation Pokemon experts berserk. Ash Ketchum has been laughing an almost genuine, joyous laugh since he found out. It still sounds a little hollow, but if something good has come out of the impossible phenomenon, is the effect it had on the Champion.

Cacophony of Madness is a disgusting combination of Boomburst, Uproar, Supersonic, Hyper Voice and Screech. Banned from use, this particular combination can potentially cause brain damage not only to the opponent's Pokemon, but all living beings within a half mile radius. It was discovered by accident in a spar between Gengar and Noivern, where Gengar used Confuse Ray on Noivern. After using the combination, Noivern immediately fainted. Further testing proved that upon use of Cacophony of Madness, Noivern gets badly confused and is prone to use Cacophony of Madness again, causing it to faint. Ash Ketchum refused any further attempts to use the technique, fearing for his Noivern's well being. The technique sounds like a pained Exploud using Hyper Voice through the speakers inside the Alola Coliseum. The only thing that has been commented on the matter is that we should feel lucky that Noivern can't use more sound-based attacks. Ash Ketchum has authority as the Champion of Alola to use Cacophony of Madness during anti-criminal operations.

Noivern apparently speaks Spanish fluently if needed, and has a minor Mexican accent. That is most certainly Hawlucha's influence.

Hawlucha

Gender: Male

Ability: Unburden

Moves:
Flying Press - Feather Dance - Submission - Hi Jump Kick - Hone Claws - Detect - Roost - Fire Punch - Thunder Punch - Drain Punch - Payback - Acrobatics - Brave Bird - Cross Chop

Combos: -

Important Notes: It has the same exact train of thought as Incineroar; doesn't favor combination techniques because it is not his fighting style. Has a specific flair for the dramatic and is often spotted wearing a mask and a cape. Often spars with Sirfetch'd. In order to take advantage of it's ability (Unburden) Hawlucha either carries a berry in fights, or goes into fights wearing his mini-outfit. Taking it off mid battle somehow triggers Unburden.

Talonflame

Gender: Female

Ability: Gale Wings

Moves:
Flame Charge - Flare Blitz - Aerial Ace - Brave Bird - Heat Wave - Agility - Tailwind - Roost - U-Turn - Protect

Combos:
Ascending Velocity (Tailwind and Agility augmented Flame Charge. Continuously hits the enemy Pokemon in order to ramp up speed over and over with the effects of Flame Charge)
Flying Comet (With speed maxed and optimally with Tailwind active, a head-on hit with Flare Blitz + Brave Bird. Massive recoil damage)

Important Notes: It is constantly training in order to raise it's body heat enough to maintain flames permanently on it's wings, in an attempt to get as strong, if not stronger than Moltres.

Krookodile

Gender: Male

Ability: Intimidate and a very specifically triggered Anger Point*

Moves:
Power Trip - Bulldoze - Crunch - Foul Play - Stone Edge - Outrage - Dragon Claw - Dig - Payback - Brick Break - Iron Tail - Darkest Lariat - Hone Claws - Lash Out - Scorching Sands

Combos:
Scorching Earth (Bulldoze together with a map wide, 360 degree spread of Scorching Sands. The goal is not to heavily damage, but to severely slow, making the ground obnoxious to stand on as it is burning)

Important Notes: As it is evident, Krookodile doesn't have combination techniques, except a single combination made to heavily impair enemy movement. The reason for that is that Krookodile is already a very dirty and underhanded fighter. With a wide selection of moves like Power Trip and Foul Play, it's understandable that not many combinations are feasible, no matter how capable he is to learn new moves and combinations.

While Krookodile's ability is very obviously Intimidate, it has been observed to trigger Anger Point as well, but only in the specific scenario where his Black Sunglasses get damaged. The oddity in this scenario is not the Dual Ability of Krookodile, there have been multiple documented cases of Dual Abilities (For example, Ash Ketchum's Snorlax). The oddity is the specific trigger to Anger Point, as damaging it's glasses is the only way to trigger it, whereas Anger Point traditionally triggers upon a Critical Hit suffered.

Gigalith

Gender: Female

Ability: Sand Force

Moves:
Sandstorm - Iron Defense - Protect - Flash Cannon - Sand Tomb - Rock Tomb - Stone Edge - Heavy Slam - Iron Head - Earthquake - Smack Down - Stealth Rock - Gravity

Combos:
Desert Burial (Under Sandstorm and after a successful Sand Tomb, Gigalith follows up with Rock Tomb and Heavy Slam on top)

Important Notes: Gigalith has no real important notes. It's just a mighty tank, nigh immovable and incredibly sturdy. Can dish out surprising amounts of damage if you are not careful enough.

Seismitoad

Gender: Male

Ability: Poison Touch

Moves:
Poison Jab - Drain Punch - Mega-quake* - Hydro Pump - Muddy Water - Liquidation - Aqua Ring - Venoshock - Venom Drench - Grass Knot - Mega Punch - Ice Punch

Combos:
Poison Drain (Basically a Drain Punch coated with poison from Poison Jab)
Venom Shower (A continuous stream of Venoshock followed by Venom Drench for maximum effectiveness)
Acidic Surf (Muddy Water filled with acid liquids from Sludge Wave, surfing on it to drop it on the enemy)

Important Notes: Seismitoad is in fact, a normal Pokemon pushed to new heights under the tutelage of Ash Ketchum. Mastering the use of it's own bodily vibrations, a trait shared among all Seismitoad, it has reached another level of power with his punches, but that is just a simple gain. The greatest breakthrough is the move Mega-quake, an enhanced version of Earthquake. Basically, Seismitoad maximizes the output of his vibrations though his feet, doubling the impact of his stomps that cause the Earthquake, effectively boosting the move's damage and destructiveness.

Leavanny

Gender: Male

Ability: Swarm

Moves:
String Shot - X-Scissor - Leaf Blade - Steel Wing - Aerial Ace - Sticky Web - Electroweb - Synthesis - Giga Drain - Worry Seed - Agility - Swords Dance - Poison Jab - Laser Focus

Combos:
Dance of War (Agility + Swords Dance)
Leaf Scissor (X-Scissor with expanded hand-leaves to apply Leaf Blade)
Joint Slasher (Laser Focus with Agility and Leaf Blade in an attempt to decimate the target's weak spots as fast as possible)

Important Notes: Leavanny is has an interesting talent to weave it's webs in intricate patterns during the span of mere seconds. Definitely once of the greatest terrain manipulators on the Champion's roster, and it is also a very hard physical hitter. Some times, it is seen sewing random clothes like scarfs, hats and socks for the workers of Aether Foundation.

Scrafty

Gender: Male

Ability: Moxie

Moves:
Hi Jump Kick - Head Smash - Focus Blast - Beat Up - Low Kick - Ice Punch - Crunch - Payback - Retaliate - Drain Punch - Revenge - Detect - Fake Out - Foul Play - Dragon Pulse - Dragon Dance

Combos: -

Important Notes: While it knows no combination techniques, Scrafty is very fast and like Incineroar, it can chain multiple moves in succession. It's fighting style also relies on letting the enemy close in and delivering powerful counter attacks like Payback and Revenge. Sometimes Scrafty looks like it got no recoil damage from Head Smash, noticeable when it doesn't even flinch when recoil visibly applies. Like Noivern and Lucario, Scrafty was raised from an Egg and considers Ash Ketchum his Father.

Serperior

Gender: Female

Ability: Contrary

Moves:
Leaf Storm - Dragon Pulse - Giga Drain - Gastro Acid - Torment - Grass Knot - Brutal Swing - Dragon Tail - Iron Tail - Mirror Coat - Aqua Tail - Wrap - Knock Off - Glare - Frenzy Plant

Combos:
Life Drain (Wrap + Giga Drain)
Iron Swing/Dragon Swing/Aqua Swing (Brutal Swing with one of 3 different elemental coatings on Serperior's tail)
Immobilize (If Glare successfully applies, Serperior ties the enemy up with Grass Knot and immediately wraps him with his body)

Important Notes: Serperior absolutely loves repeating Leaf Storm until she get's powered up to unbearable levels. Ash Ketchum often lets Serperior just boost itself up before intervening. Serperior is apparently very attracted to Ash's Venusaur.

Samurott

Gender: Male

Ability: Shell Armor

Moves:
Megahorn - Hydro Pump - Scald - Aqua Jet - Encore - Work Up - Aerial Ace - Smart Strike - Giga Impact - Dragon Tail - Sacred Sword - Liquidation - Superpower - Hydro Cannon

Combos:
Mega-strike (Megahorn + Smart Strike basically)
Blink (Aqua Jet into Aerial Ace, with Sacred Sword primed. In comical fashion, the enemy Pokemon often realizes late that it has been cut)
Liquid Saber (Sacred Sword primed with Liquidation)
Pin-point Impact (Priming Sacred Sword, Samurott uses a variation of Giga Impact that covers his sword instead of his whole body. He strikes the enemy with a thrust of his sword)

Important Notes: Ash Ketchum's Samurott has the weird trait of standing and fighting on it's hind legs, effectively engaging in bipedal combat. Often gets into sword fights with Sirfetch'd to hone his swordsmanship. It gets in a foul mood if the name of Top Coordinator Dawn Berlitz is brought up. Truthfully, the names Dawn Berlitz, May Maple, Max Maple and Serena Yvonne are touchy subjects for Ash Ketchum and his Pokemon. Compiled intel shows that Ash Ketchum had 10 traveling companions in his 7 years of travels, these being:

Brock Harisson
Misty Waterflower
May Maple
Max Maple
Dawn Berlitz
Iris Emerald
Cilan Cray
Serena Yvonne-Gabena
Clermont Ferrand
Bonnie Ferrand

Reportedly, Ash Ketchum has kept contact with Brock, Misty, Cilan, Clermont and Bonnie, as well as minor contact with Iris. This has changed since Iris was announced as Unova League Champion during the Champion Summit of September 2022, 2 days ago. For full analysis see Article 3: Post RRI and Ketchum's Relationships under File 0X: Ashton Hadrian Ketchum.

Emboar

Gender: Male

Ability: Reckless

Moves:
Head Smash - Flare Blitz - Hammer Arm - Heat Crash - Bulk Up - Smack Down - Bulldoze - Scald - Wild Charge - Burn Up - Sucker Punch - Superpower - Grass Knot

Combos:
Tectonic Crash*

Important Notes: Tectonic Crash is utilized when Emboar enters Superpower, but instead of hitting the enemy, it channels all of the Superpower energy into a massive Earthquake. The first time the move was used by Emboar, doomsday sirens started flaring across Aether Paradise, and Lusamine Aether ordered an emergency evacuation order, opening every single exit and activating the evacuation ferries across the numerous piers on the island. When the truth of the "Earthquake" was revealed, Lusamine spent 3 days yelling at Ash Ketchum and was mad at him for a week. While the technique is not banned from use, any and all property damage caused by it is to be paid by the Champion of Alola Ash Ketchum, and Lusamine has banned the use of Tectonic Crash on Aether Paradise. After the incident, Emboar is often caught sneaking around Lusamine's office and causing small tremors centered on her office while giggling. Lusamine always responds by yelling and whining while she throws random harmless stuff at Emboar. Emboar ALWAYS laughs when that happens.

Unfezant

Gender: Female

Ability: Super Luck

Moves:
Air Cutter - Air Slash - Brave Bird - Tailwind - Detect - Feather Dance - Steel Wing - Uproar - Heat Wave - Night Slash - Wish - U-Turn - Attract - Aerial Ace

Combos:
Air Shredder (Air Slash and Air Cutter. The moves are almost identical, and sometimes it uses Air Shredder instead of normal Air Slash or Air Cutter)
Airborne Dance*

Important Notes: Unfezant is an incredibly charismatic flyer and battler. It has incredible finesse and it's mastery of aerial combat is unmatched. It's flying pattern is so beautiful that sometimes it looks like it's not flying even fast, while in reality it looks like a gray blur. It almost never misses and has an incredibly easy time landing critical hits. It's mastery of aerial combat has given Ash Ketchum the chance to develop the technique Airborne Dance, which is basically a rapid use of moves like Steel Wing, Aerial Ace and Night Slash, all aimed at sensitive spots of the enemy Pokemon, resulting in numerous critical hits in quick succession. Most enemies can't even track Unfezant while it's dancing around them. Another name for the technique is, quite literally, Close Combat, without the drawbacks of the move and utilizing different Typings in each hit instead of the simple Fighting-type energy. Unfezant often participates in Flying Races together with Staraptor, Pidgeot, Swellow, Talonflame and Noctowl. While every one of them is very fast, the winner is almost always decided between Swellow and Pidgeot.

Garchomp/Mega-Garchomp

Gender: Male

Ability: Sand Veil
Mega Ability: Sand Force

Moves:
Sandstorm - Dig - Draco Meteor* - Crunch - Earthquake - Dragon Rush - Dragon Pulse - Hyper Beam - Breaking Swipe - Brutal Swing - Dragon Claw - Shadow Claw - Stone Edge - Iron Head - Poison Jab - Aerial Ace - Scorching Sands - Scale Shot - Dual Chop - Flamethrower

Combos:
Underground Rush (Dragon Rush augmented Dig. To this day, no one has a single idea as to how Garchomp can use Dig with just his head)
Breaking Slingshot (Breaking Swipe with it's tail ending in a Brutal Swing, sling-shoting the opposing Pokemon to straight into a wall at break-neck speeds)
Scorching Scales (Scale Shot with Scorching Sands)

Important Notes: Has a crazy habit of biting down on it's trainer's head, but without applying pressure. Ash has resigned himself to that and no longer panics nor tries to get him off of him. Garchomp is very mischievous, and has retained the ability to eye-smile since the days he was a Gible, which is often a telling sign that Garchomp is up to mischief again. It is able to perform a variation of Draco Meteor, a single sphere of orange draconic energy that instead of getting launched in the air and blowing into the classic Draco Meteor, it is a homing projectile. Apparently, during Ash Ketchum's 5th year of travels (The Sinnoh Journey), Draco Meteor would ALWAYS home in on Dawn Berlitz' Empoleon (Then Piplup). Nowadays, when it is used, it homes in on Aether Branch Chief Faba Sauboh, no matter where Faba is hiding. Garchomp is always eye smiling and silently giggling when Draco Meteor chases Faba. While it is able to Mega Evolve and has done it once, Garchomp does not Mega Evolve because it does not like it's Mega Evolution.

Gliscor

Gender: Female

Ability: Poison Heal

Moves:
Guillotine - Fire Fang - Poison Jab - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Acrobatics - Knock Off - X-Scissor - Giga Impact - Steel Wing - Roost - Brutal Swing - Toxic - Venoshock - Aerial Ace

Combos:
Toxic Swing (Gliscor uses Toxic on it's tail, then Brutal Swings the target)
Toxic Armor (Quite literally covers itself with it's own Toxic. Of course, it gets poisoned always, but with Poison Heal it's a boon instead of a suicidal maneuver)
Sharpshooter (The technique is a disgusting pun used, of course, by Ash Ketchum. Gliscor uses Stone Edge to hit the enemy, but while the opponent is trying to dodge, Gliscor hits the edges of the stone pillars with his tail, trying to snipe his target, effectively SHOOTING many SHARP rocks. Get it? Sharpshooter? The technique itself isn't all that effective, but it's very painful if it lands)

Important Notes: Gliscor usually hangs around Poisoned, denying attempts to heal it. It often gets into Aerial Battles with other flying types in Ash Ketchum's arsenal.

Floatzel

Gender: Male

Ability: Swift Swim

Moves:
Aqua Jet - Ice Beam - Liquidation* - Ice Fang - Crunch - Whirlpool - Rain Dance - Brick Break - Scald - Swagger - Aqua Ring - Soak - Pursuit

Combos:
Ice Jet
(Aqua Jet that is frozen around Floatzel, maximizing the impact of the move)
Aqua Pursuit (Aqua Jet powered Pursuit)

Important Notes: Floatzel has an extreme mastery of Liquidation, being able to shape the move into almost anything it needs. It has been able to roughly copy Ash-Greninja's Water Shuriken, although it isn't nearly as strong. It prefers to make a staff from Liquidation, which it uses in melee combat. Often trains with Lucario, Sirfetch'd and Samurott.

Torterra

Gender: Male

Ability: Shell Armor

Moves:
Earthquake - Wood Hammer - Leaf Storm - Leech Seed - Crunch - Giga Drain - Synthesis - Curse - Sunny Day - Rock Polish - Rock Climb - Heavy Slam - Grassy Terrain - Double-edge - Stone Edge

Combos:
Surge of Nature (Earthquake followed by a Grassy Terrain. Fissures cause from the Earthquake get filled with grass and minor bushes, effectively covering the fissures from the naked eye)
Seed Minefield (Continuous application of Leech Seeds across the field, which act as mines, binding anyone who steps on them)
Freefall (If Torterra manages to lift a target with Rock Climb, it then breaks the pillar with Earthquake or Double-edge causing to target to fall to the ground from great height. If it needs more damage output, it will use Stone Edge to hit a rising pillar under the falling target, causing great damage)

Important Notes: Torterra has a great dislike for it's heavy body because it made it slow and almost immobile. This is the reason Ash has spent a lot of time mastering Rock Polish, which can make Torterra very fast if applied enough. Despite is dislike, Torterra has accepted that it's heavy body might be slow, but it is very durable and a very hard hitter. Capitalizing on that, it can use Curse to be even bulkier, and with Synthesis/Leech Seed/Giga Drain/Grassy Terrain it can be almost immortal if it is able to pull off it's moves.

Staraptor

Gender: Female

Ability: Intimidate

Moves:
Close Combat - Brave Bird - Aerial Ace - Double Team - Steel Wing - Giga Impact - Work Up - Double Edge - Roost - Detect - Revenge - Whirlwind - Endeavor - Final Gambit*

Combos:
Group Beatdown (Double Team into Close Combat)
Iron Combat (Enhancing it's wings with Steel Wing, Staraptor then engages a Close Combat)
Last Second Turnaround (While on it's last legs, Staraptor baits a melee attack, dodging with Detect and hitting Endeavor. It then attempts to finish the job with Aerial Ace. The technique is not guaranteed to succeed because of the fatigue Staraptor is feeling when it is used)

Important Notes: Staraptor is a Battle lover. It is always ready and willing to fight any kind of fight in any scenario. In the heat of the battle, it's extremely difficult to handle. Once, it disobeyed Ash Ketchum and used the move Final Gambit despite the protests of it's trainer. Despite that mishap, Staraptor has never used Final Gambit since then.

Staraptor has a single win in the Flying Races that are conducted between it and the rest of Ash's birds. In order to win that single time, however, it beat up every other bird using Brave Bird and Close Combat, turning the Flying Race into a free-for-all brawl between them. The event gathered a big audience (all of the audience were Ash's Pokemon), and according to Lucario it was one of the best things that have happened in the CQPR. Lucario quoted: "Seeing Brother Noctowl trying to calm down everyone and getting a face full of Hyper Beam for his efforts from Sister Pidgeot was the funniest shit ever". Lucario also said that the spark that cause the Race to blow was "Sister Staraptor's frustration to Sister Pidgeot and Brother Swellow always winning the race". Staraptor was the last bird standing and managed to win the race casually gliding on the sky. Since then, Swellow is seen moving and relaxing way closer to Staraptor than before.

Glalie/Mega-Glalie

Gender: Male

Ability: Ice Body
Mega Ability: Refrigerate

Moves:
Freeze-Dry - Crunch - Sheer Cold - Double Team - Ice Beam - Blizzard - Hyper Beam - Hail - Scary Face - Protect - Gyro Ball - Dark Pulse - Shadow Ball - Disable - Rollout - Steel Roller

Combos:
Chaotic Bowl (Double Team into multiple instances of Rollout. If a Terrain is active, the many Glalies use Steam Roller instead of Rollout)
Freezing Darkness (Ultra-spread Dark Pulse mixed with Blizzard. The Blizzard get's a very dark, almost void-black tint)
Ice Age (After Double Team, the many Glalies start using Gyro Ball without moving, spewing Blizzard at the same time. Within seconds, the battlefield turns into a frozen wasteland)

Important Notes: Glalie is a very friendly and pleasant Pokemon, and it likes making friends. Which is very sad, because it's face is almost impossible to not seem terrifying. Glalie knows this, and Glalie is very sad about it. Ash only Mega Evolves Glalie if absolutely necessary, and Glalie doesn't care in the slightest about Mega Evolving. It's Mega Evolution has only been shown once in an ability showcase infront of Lusamine Aether, for the purpose of completing Article 4 under File 0X.

Torkoal

Gender: Male

Ability: Drought (Previously locked)

Moves:
Solar Beam - Overheat - Eruption - Flamethrower - Iron Defense - Gyro Ball - Earth Power - Shell Smash - Hyper Beam - Explosion* - Fissure - Inferno

Combos:
Steel Wrecker (Iron Defense 2 times into Gyro Ball)
Overkill (A disgusting combination of Hyper Beam and Overheat. Has dealt significant damage on Maxie Matsubusa's Primal Groudon under Desolate Land. Banned from competitive use, with the clause of being usable during regular weather conditions. Alas, Torkoal has Drought, so unless the weather gets manipulated after Drought application, Ash cannot use the move)

Important Notes: Torkoal is extremely prone to crying. It can cry from happiness, from sadness, surprise, or even without a real reason. During the RRI, however, it did not cry once.

Ash Ketchum has never used Explosion. The only reason we know Torkoal knows Explosion is it's use against Giovanni D'Ignazio's Mega-Mewtwo Y during the RRI. That specific instance of Explosion was an overcharged Explosion which erased one of Mewtwo's arms after it was knocked down by Arceus' Judment. The backlash was so great that Torkoal was in a coma for 5 months after the use Explosion.

Crawdaunt

Gender: Female

Ability: Adaptability

Moves:
Crabhammer - Hammer Arm - Guillotine - Crunch - Night Slash - Payback - Brick Break - Close Combat - Dark Pulse - Liquidation - X-Scissor - Aqua Jet - Knock Off - Ice Beam - Vice Grip

Combos:
Death Sentence (Upon successful Vice Grip, Crawdaunt immediately uses Guillotine with the other pincer)
Crab Rave (Crabhammer infused Close Combat. Looks like it's raving while it delivers blows)

Important Notes: There is nothing crazy about Crawdaunt. It likes comedy skits, and often tries to entertain the other Pokemon with comedy shows. It mostly succeeds.

Swellow

Gender: Male

Ability: Guts

Moves:
Façade - Double Team - Aerial Ace - Quick Guard - Reversal - Brave Bird - Agility - Steel Wing - Boomburst - Sky Attack - Roost - Protect - Giga Impact

Combos:
Max Ace
(After Agility, Sky Attack into Aerial Ace)
Swarm (Overused Double Team into Aerial Ace)
Façade Impact (Agility into Giga Impact infused Façade)

Important Notes: Swellow is tied with Pidgeot for the fasted Pokemon in Ash Ketchum's arsenal. Swellow also has some weird genetic mutation, partly gifting it Electric immunity. No one knows how or why it has this ability. After the Race-turned-brawl, Swellow seems infatuated with Ash's Staraptor.

Tauros x30 (Retired from active roster)

Important Notes: During the first year of his travels, Ash Ketchum apparently caught 30 Tauros in the Kanto Safari Zone. He does not know why he did so, but he loves them all nonetheless. All 30 of them have been given to the Miltank Farm of Whitney of Goldenrod, the purpose being mating and prosperity of the biggest Moomoo Milk farm in the world. Ash Ketchum often visits the Farm to check up on them. Ash Ketchum also has a free life-time supply of Moomoo Milk for his services.

Donphan

Gender: Male

Ability: Sand Veil

Moves:
Sandstorm - Defense Curl - Rollout - Earthquake - Ice Shard - Thunder Fang - Giga Impact - Iron Tail - Rock Polish - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge - Head Smash - Play Rough

Combos:
Desert Chaos (Sandstorm into Defense Curl + Rollout)
Skipping Tank (Def. Curl + Rollout, applying Earthquake every time it slams on the ground. Looks like a skipping stone)
Comet Strike (When Rollout reaches maximum velocity, Donphan becomes enveloped in Giga Impact to deal maximum possible damage in a single combo. Official legality of the move is pending, as the lethal potential of the technique is not yet determined)

Important Notes: The first of Ash's Pokemon to be raised from an Egg. At one point, it was playing with Glalie, Feraligatr and Dragonite, attempting to find out his maximum speed. The Pokemon group had the bright idea to create a frozen platform across the sea towards Kanto, with the help of Glalie's abilities. They proceeded with the plan, but 18 miles later the platform under Donphan broke and he ended up falling in the middle of the ocean. It was saved by Feraligatr and Dragonite. After the near death experience, the Pokemon were all laughing like they were mad, and the shocked Ash just left to HeaHea City for "some drinks". He returned 4 hours later wasted on the back of his Charizard.

Noctowl

Gender: Male

Ability: Tinted Lens

Moves:
Air Slash - Sky Attack - Psychic - Psycho Shift - Extrasensory - Hypnosis - Moonblast - Roost - Uproar - Imprison - Protect - Steel Wing - Amnesia - Dream Eater - Shadow Ball - Work Up - Agility - Hurricane - Double Team - Mean Look - Feather Dance - Night Shade - Supersonic - Stored Power

Combos: -

Important Notes: Noctowl is literally a Psychic without the Psychic typing. Its highly capable brain is able to process and use all the moves it knows. It doesn't have any combination techniques because it doesn't really need them. Noctowl and Ash's strategy in battle mostly revolves around locking down an enemy with no escape while Noctowl slowly gets out of control. On maximum capacity, it can use Stored Power up to 3 times before being too exhausted to move anymore. Noctowl enjoys reading human books in its free time, sometimes it seems like it's reading the books to other Pokemon. Also, Ash Ketchum's Noctowl is a Shiny Pokemon.

Feraligatr

Gender: Male

Ability: Sheer Force

Moves:
Dragon Dance - Crunch - Hydro Pump - Superpower - Ice Fang - Dragon Claw - Aqua Tail - Hyper Beam - Iron Tail - Scald - Bulldoze - Liquidation - Rock Slide - Swords Dance

Combos:
Dance Master
(Dragon Dance + Swords Dance)
Liquid Power (Liquidation infused Superpower)

Important Notes: Feraligatr LOVES dancing. It can be dancing all the time without stopping. It also loves biting his trainer's head without hurting him though. Feraligatr has taught Noivern to play some sort of music (no one understands how). It can slip into fits of rage if you disrupt it's dance. Only Ash Ketchum and his Pokemon Family are allowed to stop his dances.

Typhlosion

Gender: Female

Ability: Flash Fire

Moves:
Flamethrower - Flame Wheel - Lava Plume - Eruption - Burn Up - Sunny Day - Solar Beam - Overheat - Extrasensory - Bulldoze - Focus Blast - Shadow Claw - Blast Burn

Combos:
Uber-heat (Charging Solar Beam, Typhlosion instead channels all the energy into an over-charged Overheat)
Volcanic Incarnation (Eruption into Blast Burn without break. Banned from competitive use due to overly destructive capabilities)

Important Notes: Typhlosion tries to be extremely relaxed all the time. It likes enjoying the sun and the peaceful nature of the CQPR, as it enjoys the quiet sounds of the trees and the running water. Which is also why Typhlosion is almost always seen chasing Feraligatr around with a tree branch, while Feraligatr is cradling a Boom Box.

Meganium

Gender: Female

Ability: Overgrow

Moves:
Aromatherapy - Safeguard - Light Screen - Reflect - Petal Blizzard - Sunny Day - Giga Drain - Grassy Terrain - Leech Seed - Ingrain - Heal Pulse - Attract - Frenzy Plant - Bulldoze - Energy Ball

Combos: -

Important Notes: Meganium is, by every definition of the word, a healer. It's supportive abilities are insane, and it's sustainability is off the charts. It has multiple ways to raise defenses, to restore health, to restore allies health, to erase status conditions, and it can also deal a respectable amount of damage. Ash mostly uses Meganium for Double Battles, usually along with Sceptile or Venusaur (Mostly Sceptile because if it's not Meganium's tag partner it just stays pouting out of jealousy. Venusaur just smacks Sceptile's head for even thinking that absurd notion). Meganium appears to be in some sort of relationship with Sceptile. Intel also shows that in the past Meganium had a mad crush for Ash Ketchum.

Heracross/Mega-Heracross

Gender: Male

Ability: Moxie
Mega Ability: Skill Link

Moves:
Pin Missile - Rock Blast - Bullet Seed - Megahorn - Close Combat - Aerial Ace - Counter - Smart Strike - Shadow Claw - Bulk Up - Reversal - Throat Chop - Earthquake - Seismic Toss

Combos:
Double Tap
(Counter into Reversal)
Impaler (Smart Strike with Megahorn)

Important Notes: Heracross is one of the few Pokemon Ash Ketchum often Mega Evolves. Probably because Heracross likes feeling that strong. Heracross has an abnormal love for honey and pollen. It still tries to eat from Venusaur's plant to this day. It always ends up with Venusaur smacking him across the Resort. Sometimes, if Venusaur is in a foul mood, it will send Heracross straight into the sleeping Charizard, which results in an angry pseudo-dragon trying to roast Heracross alive.

Snorlax

Gender: Male

Ability: Immunity AND Thick Fat*

Moves:
Hyper Beam - Body Slam - Heavy Slam - Recycle - Belch - Belly Drum - Rest - Snore - Sleep Talk - Giga Impact - Crunch - Hammer Arm - Mega Punch - Earthquake - Psychic - Heat Crash - Darkest Lariat - Curse - Counter

Combos: -*

Important Notes: Snorlax is one of the documented cases of Pokemon with dual abilities. Snorlax is also very intelligent, despite it being a sloth. Snorlax doesn't know combination techniques per se, but it has two passive combinations. One of them is the immediate use of Recycle the moment it consumes his berry, making it extremely effective. The second passive combination is the application of Earthquake in every slam it does (More specifically, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Heat Crash and Giga Impact). Its Earthquakes are particularly nasty. Snorlax is always seen carrying a Sitrus Berry, and when it's hungry it eats it over and over again with continuous use of Recycle. If you spot it not carrying a berry, make it your first priority to provide it with one.

Muk

Gender: Male

Ability: Stench

Moves:
Acid Armor - Minimize - Venom Drench - Venoshock - Toxic - Sludge Wave - Gunk Shot - Shadow Punch - Ice Punch - Disable - Flamethrower - Dark Pulse - Haze - Acid Spray

Combos:
Venom Shower (A continuous stream of Venoshock followed by Venom Drench for maximum effectiveness)
Dragon's Breath (Not the actual move Dragon Breath, it's just a combination of Acid Spray, ignited by Flamethrower. Kind of looks like fireworks)

Important Notes: Muk is extremely friendly. It has a habit of body slamming people under it for a hug. Surprisingly, the Champion's Muk has immaculate control over it's own body, and restricts the overwhelming stench and acidic liquids. While it still smells like a mixture of nuclear waste and rotting flesh, it's not overwhelming to the point of sickness. All human beings can handle being hugged for 5-10 seconds before feeling sick, which Muk knows and keeps its hugs short and simple. Ash Ketchum however seems like he has developed an immunity to Muk, as it can handle it's hugs for more than 15 seconds, but after that he breaks it up because "15 seconds is too long for any kind of hug".

Kingler

Gender: Female

Ability: Shell Armor

Moves:
Crabhammer - Hammer Arm - Guillotine - Mud Shot - Hyper Beam - Protect - Brick Break - Iron Defense - X-Scissor - Ally Switch - Scald - High Horsepower - Liquidation - Knock Off - Brutal Swing

Combos:
Flash Snap (Perfectly timed Ally Switch into a sure Guillotine)
Sideswipe (Brutal Swing + Knock Off)

Important Notes: Kingler is probably the most mischievous Pokemon in Ash Ketchum's family, and that only happened after it became great friends with Garchomp and Crawdaunt. It runs around the CQPR pranking other Pokemon. It avoids the ones that won't have fun with the pranks.

Kartana

Gender: -

Ability: Beast Boost

Moves:
Swords Dance - Sacred Sword - Leaf Blade - Night Slash - Laser Focus - Psycho Cut - Solar Blade - Aerial Ace - Smart Strike - X-Scissor - Fury Cutter - Detect

Combos:
Fury Barrage
(Continuous, nonstop hits with Fury Cutter)

Important notes: One of the 2 captures made by the Alola Champion after the RRI. Kartana is a fun, easygoing Ultra Beast. After it entered our world through an Ultra Wormhole in October of 2019, it was always following Ash Ketchum, very intrigued with the power of the young man. Kartana was sneaking around Ash the whole time, watching him and his Pokemon in the CQPR. Ash spent 2 weeks searching for it, until Kartana decided to appear to Ash and expressed it's wish to join him. Since joining him, it has been training non-stop with his other Pokemon. Kartana speaks in reversed Human language and apparently, whenever it knocks out a Pokemon, it says "Paper cuts hurt, be careful" while giggling to itself. Kartana is the second Shiny Pokemon in Ash's family.

Latias/Mega-Latias

Gender: Female

Ability: Levitate
Mega Ability: Levitate

Moves:
Mist Ball - Dragon Pulse - Psychic - Psycho Shift - Healing Wish - Tailwind - Recover - Heal Pulse - Draco Meteor - Reflect - Light Screen - Hyper Beam - Safeguard - Protect - Mystical Fire - Psycho Cut - Shadow Claw - Air Slash - Surf - Ice Beam - Thunderbolt - Agility - Earth Power - Tri Attack - Shadow Ball - Calm Mind - Dragon Dance - Aura Sphere - Stored Power - Energy Ball - Ally Switch - Water Pulse - Flash - Thunder Wave - Giga Impact - Baton Pass

Combos: -

Important Notes: Latias is the only Legendary Pokemon captured by Ash Ketchum. Being a Psychic-type Legendary, it is capable of Telepathy and it has an insane move pool. Thanks to it's move pool it doesn't need any real combinations, because it's versatility is more than enough. In the eyes of the Champion though, Latias has no combination techniques because he does not intent to use it in any battle. Latias however wants to be very well versed in Pokemon combat, so it is training overtime with the rest of Ash Ketchum's Pokemon since the day it was captured in March of 2020. When Ash returned from his wild goose chase of every Mega Stone in existance, he announced to Lusamine that he will be going to Altomare for a week. Finding out that there is a Latiasite (And Latiosite as well), gave him motivation to go see the Latias he helped during the second year of his travels. Apparently, there was an incident in Altomare where Latias' brother Latios died while they were both trying to save everyone. Ash harbored feeling of guilt for a long time about Latios' death, which was completely illogical. It seems that with both Latias and Ash developing Telepathy, Latias has convinced Ash to capture her. Latias has friendly relationships with all of Ash's Pokemon. It also seems that it has a crush on the Champion.

All of Ash Ketchum's Pokemon are mostly self trained after getting the basics from Ash. The older members of the family are training the new members and when they catch up, they all help the ones falling behind. They are constantly training without Ash's input, perfecting their moves and combinations. The only time Ash Ketchum steps up to personally train a Pokemon is to either teach it a move that none of his Pokemon know, or to teach it a new combination he came up with. Other than that, Ash's family trains each other in power, endurance, stamina, speed and other aspects of battling. They all know what they are doing and are implementing Ash's lessons in their training sessions. His most experienced Pokemon are also able to teach other Pokemon new moves (That's how Venusaur taught Grassy Terrain to most of Ash's Grass Types).

Ash's Pokemon are insanely loyal to their trainer/brother/father. They have been through hell and back with him, and as Lucario says, "If we fight for Father, we know he will do the same for every single one of us. He always has been fighting for all of us. He trusts his life with us, and we do the same with him and each other". They never try to be lethal or cause serious damage during fights, but that is not the case when there is actual life-threatening danger. All of Ash's Pokemon are more than ready to end a threat to their trainer or the world immediately, either by incapacitating or in the worst case, ending lives. Most notably, Venusaur has killed 29 Neo-Galactic agents in the span of a minute during the Aether Raid by gutting them with it's vines.

All of Ash's Pokemon are also capable of using Z-Moves, and Ash Ketchum himself had no idea of this fact. Reportedly, lessons started from his Alola Pokemon, teaching the most experienced of Ash's Pokemon the requirements for different types of Z-Moves, and then the lessons were passed to other Pokemon, in a natural cycle of teaching and training. His Pokemon are efficient, intelligent, powerful and could be considered independent. Ash Ketchum must be protected at all costs. In the event of his unjust death, everyone is in danger. Without a doubt, his Pokemon family, his army; There are more than capable to lay waste in the entire region of Alola in search of revenge for their trainer's death. And if they don't find it in Alola, I honestly believe that they are capable of travelling to other regions and starting a full blown war there.
