A mysterious island, 3:50 A.M.
On a mysterious island, a group of women step onto the island. They are equipped with weapons of some sort.
The women are Belfast, Taihou, Akagi, Lutzow, Implacable, and Richelieu.
"Hmm, how interesting," Implacable said, looking around with her superior sight. "I don't see any type of life here besides the trees and plants."
"It's dead silent here also," Richelieu said, narrowing her eyes at the fact. "I have a bad feeling about this island."
"Let's hurry and get this over with," Akagi said in an impatient tone. "I want to come back to base with the commander praising me because I'm going to be the one to capture this Jay-Jay~."
Taihou snorts. "Yeah, right skank. Might as well get back in the line because I'm going to be the one to capture Jay-Jay!"
"Care to repeat that?!" Akagi asked angrily, staring her down.
Taihou was about to repeat herself, but Belfast interrupted her.
"That enough, both of you," Belfast chided in a soft, but firm tone. "We're not here to capture Jay-Jay. We are simply here to see if He wants to come with us. We don't know His intentions, but He seems to be on our side."
Akagi and Taihou looked at her and then back at each other before they both huffed and turned away from each other. Belfast and Richelieu sighed at the two while Implacable had an amused expression on her face.
Lutzow wasn't paying them any mind and she taps her comm. "Commander, we have arrived on the island,"
"Excellent!" The commander said over the comm, he tried to hide his excitement, but clearly failed as the ship girls could hear the excitement in his tone. "Any sign of Him yet?"
Lutzow sweatdropped at this. "We just got here commander, but we're going to look for Him now."
"Good, good," The commander said, calming himself down. "Be safe out there. Not much is known about the island so there is no telling what to expect once you and the others venture deeper into the island."
"Relax, Commander. We can handle ourselves just fine," Lutzow assured him.
"Alright, well, keep in touch, and don't forget to report on what you find on the island," The commander reminded her.
Lutzow nods. "We will, commander," Lutzow lets go of her comm and looks back to the others.
"Oh, the commander is always worrying about us. All the more reason to love him~," Taihou blushed and swooned over the commander. She soon snapped out of it as she was smacked upside her head. Letting out a 'yelp' and she turned her head to see who did it. She saw Richelieu looking at her with a stern expression. "Ouch, what was that for?!"
"Pull yourself together," Richelieu sternly said. "We're on an important mission here, so act like it."
Taihou gritted her teeth and was about to retaliate, but stopped herself as Richelieu did have a point.
Belfast started heading to the forest with the rest following her.
'My, this is going to be an interesting,' Implacable thought, amused by the shenanigans. Her expression soon turned serious. 'I don't know why, but I feel like this island isn't safe. I should be on the lookout.'
15 minutes later.
It was eerily silent during their whole journey on the island. Well, besides, the fact that Akagi and Taihou are arguing while Implacable is annoying Richelieu as always.
"I have to say, Belfast," Lutzow said, catching Belfast's attention. "This is quite the group you gather."
Belfast sighs. "I know and so far, they're a handful to deal with, but there is the only people that weren't busy at the time,"
"True," Lutzow said with a yawn. The commander and the ship girls have been very busy as of late as more and more sirens have started to show up and cause mayhem. Not only that, but somehow, the sirens are getting more powerful as each day passes. The group has been hard at work to figure out how the sirens are getting stronger. 'It wasn't like before where we were on equal footing with the sirens.' Lutzow thought solemnly. 'They have us been in every aspect so far. Something huge is going on, but we don't know the scale of it yet.'
"You seem to be deep in thought," Belfast said.
Lutzow snaps out of her thoughts. "I was. Trying to make sense of what has been going on lately."
"So have I," Belfast agreed with a thoughtful expression. "My mind keeps coming up with blanks on how the sirens getting strong. It doesn't help our nation's best research teams have come up with no explanation or made any progress in their journey of figuring out how the sirens are getting more powerful."
"They have figured out the new technology that the sirens have?" Lutzow questioned.
Belfast shook her head. "I'm afraid not. In fact, all the research teams said the same thing...the new technology that the siren has is otherworldly and beyond our understanding,"
Lutzow tilts her head at this. "Otherworldly and beyond our understanding?"
"Yes, exactly what they said," Belfast confirmed with a nod.
'Well, that doesn't ease my worries,' Lutzow thought as she took a deep breath. 'This is a lot to take in. Our research nations have been trying to figure out the sirens' new technology for months now and they still made no progress. Whatever the sirens have going on is not good for this world and we need to find a way to quickly stop them.' "Well, this isn't good news."
Belfast sighed. "I know. However, I still have hope that our research teams will make a breakthrough in their research and find a way to stop this madness."
Lutzow nodded in agreement and it went quiet between the two.
The group continues to venture further into the island, looking everywhere for Jay-Jay.
They continue furthering into the island, but unfortunately for them, they haven't seen any tracks or trances of Jay-Jay.
Implacable sighs in disappointment. "What a boring trip this was," She yawns. "I was hoping to meet Him or at least come across something interesting."
"Commander won't be pleased with this," Akagi said, grimacing at this as she imagined seeing the commander's disappointed expression.
"Oh, well, this was a waste of our time," Taihou said with a hint of sadness in her voice as she wouldn't get what the commander wanted.
"Mission failed then," Richelieu said in a slightly disappointed tone, she was looking forward to meeting Jay-Jay as He sounded interesting and He would be valuable to have the port if the stories and rumors about His power were true.
Lutzow just sighed as there was back to square one. She was hoping to come across Jay-Jay as He might know what was going on with the sirens and how to fight against them. 'What a shame. I was hoping to see if He knows anything about what has been going on and if He knows anything about the technology that the sirens have been using. Oh well, at least, I get to relax for a little while,' The group was about to head back to the port until Lutzow saw tracks at the corner of her. She stops and looks at the ground to make sure she is seeing things right. She stepped closer to the tracks and indeed, it was tracks. 'Hmm, this is not what I imagine His feet would be shaped like.'
The others noticed that Lutzow stopped following them and they turned to see she was examining the ground.
"You find anything that would help with our search?" Belfast asked with a raised brow.
Lutzow turns to her. "Maybe, but I don't know if this is Him or not as none of the reports said he had lizard-shaped feet,"
Everyone tilts their head at this and they look at each other for a split second before looking back at Lutzow.
"Lizard-shaped feet?" Richelieu stroked her chin at the information. "Hmm, I wouldn't imagine He would be so small. I don't think that Him."
"This is a different though as the tracks are human-sized," Lutzow informed them.
Now, everybody's brow raised at this.
"How interesting," Implacable said. Maybe this mission wouldn't be such a bore after all.
"I suggest we should follow it to see if it would lead us to Jay-Jay," Taihou said. 'I would get to see the commander's happy face after all!'
"I have no problem with that," Belfast said, looking towards the others. "Any objections?" The group shakes their head. Belfast turns to Lutzow. "Lead the way."
Lutzow nods and she begins to follow the tracks with the others following close behind.
The further they go onto the island, the darker it gets as the trees cover the moonlight.
The group kept going until Lutzow came to a sudden stop at the edge of a cliff. The group halted in their tracks.
"Whoa, announce when you're stopping next time," Akagi snarled, annoyed at Lutzow.
"Calm yourself, Akagi," Richelieu said, looking at the fox girl. "She didn't mean no harm."
Akagi rolls her eyes and scoffs.
"See anything?" Implacable asked.
"...I think it better if y'all see for yourselves," Lutzow said, stunned at the scene.
The ship girls looked at each other and furrowed their brows before walking towards the edge of the cliff. What they see has left them slack-jawed.
They are an army of lizard men standing in a circle, quiet as a mouse as they seem to be in a ritual of some kind as they are letting out low growls and their bodies glow in a light green aura. They are looking at a giant lizard man who is currently in a slumber. The group doesn't know what going but all of them have a pit in their stomach that whatever this lizard man isn't good and they are planning something.
"...What the hell?" Taihou finally broke the silence, confused and in disbelief at what she was seeing.
"This is new," Belfast doesn't know what else to say as this is the most bizarre thing she has ever seen. She knew animals have their own rituals, but these creatures at their seeing is like a weird mix between human and animal and they are gathered around a giant one like they are worshipping a deity. 'We need to take down these lizard men as something tells me if they are not taken off right now...they would become a massive problem in the future.'
"Hmm, this..." Implacable tried to find the words to see what she was seeing, but none seemed to spring into mind. "...I can't accurately describe this situation in words."
"This situation seems suspicious," Richelieu said, catching everyone's attention. "Like, I think our nations would've told us about creatures like them."
"Now that you said it, it is suspicious," Taihou said, looking down at the ground, deep in thought. "Now that I think about it, none of our nations have sent teams to investigate this island which is weird as an island like this would be something to study as this island came out of nowhere when we first heard about it."
"That is strange," Belfast said, frowning at the information. "Since we're here, I think we can investigate it and see if we can find any useful out of this island. Now, stay silent as we don't know anything about these lizard men."
Everyone nods at this and is about to investigate the island. However, when Lutzow turns around, she accidentally kicks a rock and it falls to the ground hard. Causing a loud boom to be heard. Lutzow flinches at this while the others go wide-eyed at this.
"...Maybe they didn't hear it?" Lutzow sheepishly said, hoping that the lizard men didn't hear this at all and they could sneak away.
Sadly for them, the lizard men did hear this as all of them turned and roared at them. Lutzow turned her head slightly to see what the lizard-men doing. The lizard men charged towards the cliff on all fours.
"Run!" Lutzow shouted as she took off at full speed with the others following close to her.
"How hard did you kick the rock, Lutzow?!" Akagi shouted and asked.
"I didn't even kick it!" Lutzow answered while ducking under a tree branch. "I just stepped over it and it hit the ground hard!"
"Hmm, it is strange that the rock managed to shake the island and cause a loud boom," Implacable contemplate on what caused the rock to land on the ground that hard as none were in a rush to leave in the first place.
"Everybody stay calm and focus on escaping!" Belfast commanded. "We don't know what these lizard men are capable of. As much I want to find out what their limits are, the commander gonna need us in our best shape to fight the sirens!"
"Yes ma'am!" They all shouted as they picked up the pace as much as they could.
They continued to run until Lutzow skidded to stop herself as an army of lizard men stood right in their path.
The others stopped in their tracks once they saw the lizard men.
"Damn it, that way is blocked," Taihou snarled, staring daggers at them.
"Let's find another way then!" Richelieu ordered as she turned the other way to make a run for it, but that way was blocked as well. "Never mind then..."
Belfast looked for ways out, but soon, they were trapped as more lizard men showed up.
The ship girls slowly backed away to create some distance between them and the lizard men. They kept backing away until their riggings touched. Now, they are back-to-back with each other.
"These pesky little bastards," Akagi growled, she was ready to unload her cannons on these lizard men.
"What's the plan now, Bel?" Richelieu asked while looking at Belfast.
Belfast looks around to see if their an opening of any kind to escape. Unfortunately for them, there weren't any as thousands of thousands of lizard men surrounded them. 'Looks like we need to create an opening to escape.' "The plan is to take down as many lizard men as we can until either one of us can create an escape route! Unleash everything you have at them and don't let up!" Everybody nodded and they prepared their riggings as they aimed at the lizard men.
Implacable fire the first shot as it hit one of the lizard men. Sending the lizard man flying a good few feet away before landing on the ground. Out cold from the bullet.
The lizard men looked at their comrade for a split second before looking back at the ship girls and letting out a roar of rage as they got on all fours and leaped towards the group.
The battle is on and chaos consumes the island as the lizard men are relentless and quick in their attacks. However, the lizard men were no much for the ship girls' teamwork with each other as the group watched each other backs and covered each other blind spots. The lizardmen didn't give up though as they kept coming and coming and their skin was tough as hell. The ship girls' riggings are state-of-the-art weapons, but even their power couldn't bypass the lizard men's skins as the most it could do was knock them out and slow them down.
It was now 9:23 A.M. as the ship girls kept attacking and taking out lizard men. However, they begin to get tired of this.
"It's been hours now and we still haven't created an opening!" Implacable shouted while firing two shells at a group of lizard men. The shells hit the group, knocking them out cold.
"Their skin is tough!" Lutzow shouted, firing a barrage of torpedos at the lizard men. Hoping to put them down for good, but it was to no avail. "No matter how hard I try, they keep getting up and coming back for more!"
"We better think of something fast!" Akagi yelled, she ducked under a tail strike from one of the lizardmen. She grabs the tail and begins to swing the lizard men around for a good minute before letting him go into a group of lizardmen. Sending them all flying onto the other side of the island.
Taihou summoned all the planes she could, hoping to end this for once and for all. 'Remember what you are fighting for, Taihou! I will make the commander proud and happy!' The planes landed all over the area causing smoke to cover the area. She begins to pant. She hoped that her attack take out the lizard men, but to her shock, it didn't as it did knock out a few, but most of them were still conscious and were getting back up. The lizard men glared at Taihou with rage in their eyes as they snarled before running towards the ship girl. Taihou gritted her teeth. 'What it gonna take for them to go down?!'
Belfast is trying to come up with another plan since this one isn't working as the lizard men are not letting up. 'We need to find a way to get out of this situation,' Unbeknownst to her, a lizard man was behind her and was ready to lunge at her. Luckily for her, Richelieu noticed it and fired a torpedo at him. Sending the lizard man flying into 50 trees. Belfast looks at Richelieu and gives her a nod of gratitude. Richelieu nodded back and was about to fire another torpedo at the lizard man. When suddenly the lizard men stopped in their tracks. Confusing the ship girls.
"Why did they stop?" Richelieu questioned, she kept her rigging fixed on the lizardmen in case they tried anything.
"I don't know why, but at least, we can catch our breath for a little bit," Lutzow said as she fell on her bottom to rest a bit.
Implacable narrowed her eyes at this. 'Something isn't right about this,' She looked at the lizard men's body language and she saw they are slowly starting to cower in fear. 'This is surprising. I never imagined they would cower in fear. It can't be because of us as our riggings couldn't bypass their skin. What it could be then?' Suddenly, they heard a loud roar that shook the island and the ocean. Soon after that roar, the lizard men roared back. However, this time their roars are not out of rage or hatred...it is out of fear and obedience. It dawned on Implacable that the giant lizard from earlier must have awakened. '...Oh, this isn't good.'
The lizard men scattered away as they knew to avoid their god when he had first woken up.
Belfast narrowed her eyes at the situation. "What a peculiar turn of events,"
"I wonder what could have gotten them so shaken up." Akagi wondered with her hand on her chin.
Implacable was about to answer, but the group heard rumbling and the ground shook underneath them.
"What is that?!" Taihou asked in surprise.
Lutzow eyes widen in realization as she realizes what it is. "It's the giant lizard from earlier!"
Everyone (sans Implacable) creased their brow at this.
"Hmm, then we need to run," Belfast said, everyone turned their attention towards her. "We had enough trouble with the smaller ones. We all know that the giant one would give us hell if we stayed here. So let's hurry and get out of here."
Everyone nods as they wasted no time hauling ass. However, they didn't get far as the giant one landed in front of them. Thanks to her size and power, the giant lizard unleashed a shockwave that could be felt throughout the continent and knock the ship girls flat on their asses. The giant lizard drooled as she stared at the ship girls with a malicious glint in her eyes.
"Um...nice reptile?" Lutzow said, hoping to calm down the giant lizard.
The giant lizard growls and raises her tail and slams on the ship girls. Unluckily for her, the group manages to roll out of the way just in time. However, the force she put into the attack managed to send the ship girls flying and they landed on the ground hard.
Taihou rubs her head and regains her bearings. "Ugh, my head," Taihou slowly got up and she was greeted with the sight of an overgrown reptile bull-rushing her. Taihou quickly aims her rigging at the giant lizard and begins to unload what she has at the lizard. Sadly for Taihou, none of her attacks work in the slightest against the giant lizard. The giant lizard raised her hand and brought it down to smash Taihou. Taihou raised her arms to block the attack. The hand made contact with Taihou's body and a crater formed. Taihou coughed up blood as she screamed in pain. The giant lizard raised her hand again and was about to bring it down again, but she stopped as she caught the others getting up at the corner of her eye. The giant lizard snarls and turn her attention to the others. Taihou tries to get up, but a sharp pain hits her. She hissed and lay back down. 'Come on, I can do this! I can't let the commander down!' She grits her teeth and tries to get up again, but a sharp pain hits her again. She groans. 'Damnit!'
Taihou slowly begins to lose consciousness, she tries to fight against it, but it is no use as her eyelids feel heavy and a wave of tiredness goes through her body. 'I'm sorry, Commander,' Tears begin to fill up in Taihou's eyes. 'I have failed you. I was unworthy to receive your affection anyway.' Taihou's eyes are fully closed and she begins to doze off.
Suddenly, Taihou felt a burst of energy coursing through her as she opened her eyes and she was greeted with the sight of Jay-Jay's healing her with the warmest smile she had ever seen.
"You fought a good fight," Jay-Jay said in a genuine tone. "I'm proud of you."
Once He was done, Jay-Jay pulled His hand away from Taihou and stood up. Jay-Jay offered Taihou His hand and she gladly accepted it.
"The name is Jayvon Jayson," Jay-Jay introduced Himself with a slight bow. "But most people called Me Jay-Jay."
"The name is Taihou," Taihou breathed out, she was in disbelief that they finally found Jay-Jay. Well, more like the other way around, but that's not important right now. 'Hmm, He is handsome as they say He is and that smile of His is...no word in any language can accurately describe His smile.'
"Nice to meet you, Taihou," Jay-Jay said.
Taihou was about to reply, but she was interrupted by the giant lizard's roar the two turned to see the giant lizard staring at..well, more like glaring at Jay-Jay. However, Taihou noticed that the malicious glint was gone and was replaced by a...jealous glint in her eyes? Strange, but the giant lizard needs to pay for what she did. Taihou prepared her rigging and aimed at the giant lizard. She is about to fire at the giant lizard, but Jay-Jay stops her by raising His hand.
"You have done enough for today, Taihou," Jay-Jay said before turning His attention to the rest of the ship girls. "In fact all of you did, take a rest now, and let me deal with this."
The ship girls stop what they are doing and look at Him with curious looks on their faces. They do want to help Jay-Jay fight this overgrown reptile. but they weren't a match for the giant lizard as it was way too fast and agile for its size and had the strength on destroying two continents if it wanted to. That not even mentioning its durability.
"Let's do what He says," Belfast told them, the ship girls snap their attention towards her. "We are no match for the giant lizard. And this would be a good way to see what He is capable of."
The ship girls nodded as they sat down to watch the fight and to take a rest.
The giant lizard growls before letting a loud roar that can be heard from space in Jay-Jay's face. Hoping to scare Jay-Jay and make Him go away. Jay-Jay is unfazed by the roar as He crossed His arms with a calm expression on His face. The giant lizard snarls as she sent a barrage of punches and slashes at Jay-Jay at sub-relativistic speeds. It continues for about 45 seconds before the giant lizard stops as she saw not only Jay-Jay didn't move in any way, but also, the onslaught didn't damage Him in the slightest. The giant lizard begins to back away in fear. She didn't know what else to do as she was not used to creatures of any kind withstanding her blows and size.
The ship girls had amazement in their eyes at the scene as the stories about Jay-Jay's durability is true as He took the giant lizard blows at full power and with no scratch on Him.
"Hmm, no wonder why the commander wants Him," Implacable said, impressed at the fight, well if you can even call it that. "He would be very useful to have on our side."
"You're telling me," Richelieu agreed, she couldn't stop staring at Jay-Jay. 'I don't know why I'm feeling this, but something tells me that this Jay-Jay is going to change the world.'
The giant lizard roars again as she was about to attack again, but suddenly, she froze in fear. The ship girls furrowed their brows at this as they didn't know what happened. Sweat begins to form on the giant lizard's face as she saw a fierce and glowing white aura around Jay-Jay that went all the way up into the sky. Jay-Jay unleashed a wave of conqueror haki that only target to the giant lizard. Which is why she can only the aura that Jay-Jay has.
"Leave now, if you know what is good for you," Jay-Jay commanded in a firm tone. "There is no need to continue this fight." The aura disappears.
The giant lizard quickly nods before quickly turning and high-tailed it out of there.
The ship girls let out a sigh of relief. They get up to thank and introduce themselves to Jay-Jay.
"We are grateful for saving us," Belfast said in a thankful tone with a bow. "How could we ever repay You?"
Jay-Jay gives a dismissive hand wave. "There is no need to thank Me. I'm doing what any decent person would've done,"
"Oh, no, please, I insist," Belfast said. "We are forever in your debt and it wouldn't be right to repay in any way." The other ship girl nods in agreement. "The name is Belfast, I heard great things about You." Belfast held out her hand to shake His hand.
Jay-Jay accepts and gives her a firm handshake. The two pulled apart.
Akagi grins at this. "Good thing we have finally found You! The commander would be happy to see You," She squealed as she is very excited to get back to base to make her beloved happy and proud of her when she came in with Jay-Jay in tow. "The name is Akagi. I've been looking forward to meeting You."
Jay-Jay smiles at the ship girl's excitement, He loves to see His children happy. "Nice to make your acquaintance and I would love to make your commander happy,"
Implacable looks at Him and down, she loves what she sees as she subtly licks her lips. 'My, they say He was handsome and cute, but that is underselling it. Hmm, I wouldn't mind if He take me right here,'
"You okay, miss?" Jay-Jay asked causing Implacable to snap out of her thoughts. "You're drooling."
Implacable quickly wipes her slob out of her lips. "Oh, where are my manners? The name Implacable, sweetheart. I look forward to working with You." 'And to make You mine.'
Richelieu stares at Implacable with an exasperated look on her face. 'However, I can't blame her about this as Jay-Jay is the most handsome I ever laid my eyes upon,' "The name is Richelieu, it's a pleasure to meet You,"
"The pleasure is all mine," Jay-Jay smiled
"The name is Taihou," Taihou introduced herself. "I hope You join us because that the commander is so happy~." Taihou swooned as she imagines seeing the commander's happy expression.
Jay-Jay nods. "It would be My honor to make your commander happy,"
"The name is Lutzow," Lutzow introduced herself with a yawn. "I look forward to having a cutie like You on board with us as You seem like an interesting person. Although, it would have been nice if You had been here earlier as fighting an army of lizard men was not on my list today."
Jay-Jay slightly laughs at Lutzow's joke. "I know, but I was looking for this," Jay-Jay reaches into His pocket and pulled out a wisdom cube. However, it was no ordinary wisdom cube as it was gold and pulsing with unimaginable power.
The ship girls furrowed their brows at this. They've never seen a wisdom cube like that before and the power that is radiating off it...is unbelievable. If they are more wisdom cubes like that in the world, then they might have a chance to win this war.
"Also, there is something y'all need to know...the dark side of the omniverse has been unsealed," Jay-Jay said with a serious expression.
The kansen all went wide-eyed at this. They have heard tales of the dark side of the omniverse and none of them are pretty in the slightest. The monsters that are sealed (well, now, were) in there are beyond what anyone in the omniverse could handle.
"If what You're saying is true, could that be the reason why the sirens have gotten more powerful?" Belfast questioned, narrowing her eyes at Jay-Jay.
Jay-Jay nods. "It is true and that is the reason. The sirens have made allies with people and organizations from the dark side of the omniverse. Which is why they have technology beyond this world's understanding and capability to handle them,"
The kansen all looked at each other with worried looks written all over their faces. They finally have an answer for the sirens, but oh, it is so much worse than they could imagine.
"Then, let's hurry up and get back to base," Richelieu said. "The commander and the others girls deserved to know."
The other kansen nods in agreement.
"Consider it done," Jay-Jay said with a calm smile.
The ship girls are confused at this and Lutzow was about to ask something, but they suddenly teleported away.
With Jayron.
Jayron and Goku arrived at their destination and both of them landed on the ground.
"This is the place," Goku said as he walked to the door. "And don't mind Vegeta, he can be a bit grumpy."
"Eh, I'm used to dealing with grumpy people," Jayron said, reminiscing about the times of dealing with his war buddies.
Goku smiles.
The door opens.
"I told you before, we don't have any-" Bulma was about to go off, but she stops herself when she sees it was just Goku with someone new with him. "Oh hey Goku, what brings you here?"
"Hey, Bulma!" Goku cheerfully greeted. "I'm here for Vegeta as this guy," The Saiyan pointed to Jayron. "Wants to meet him."
"I see..." Bulma said she is surprised as Vegeta doesn't have many friends of his anti-socialness. "Does Vegeta know this guy?" 'He does look familiar though, I can't put my finger on it though.'
"No, he doesn't know me," Jayron said, walking up closer to the door. "The name is Jayron Bolden and I cut to the chase, I'm gathering a team of strong warriors to help me seal the negative side of the omniverse back up."
Bulma went slack-jawed at this. She remembers him now as her father used to tell her stories about the legendary war hero who fought in many wars and is known for his unkillable as everything had been tried on him before. His most known was going into the negative side of the omniverse willingly to receive an artifact and came out relatively unscathed by this. "Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you then!" Bulma squealed at this as she bounces up and down. "I'm a hug fan of yours!" Bulma pulled Jayron into a hug. Catching the war hero off-guard, he didn't mind as he is being hugged by a beautiful woman and he returned the hug.
Goku went wide-eyed at this. "Whoa, you're Jayron?! I heard stories about how powerful you is! Let's spar sometime!"
Jayron smirks. "Hmm, I take you up on that offer some time,"
Bulma pulls apart from Jayron and clears her throat. "A-anyway, Vegeta should be in the gravity chamber,"
"Thanks, Bulma," Goku said with a wide grin. "Catch you later." He walked to the gravity chamber.
Jayron gives her a nod of gratitude. "I catch you another time, it was nice to meet you,"
"It was nice meeting you too!" Bulma exclaimed happily.
Jayron catches up with Goku and they headed to the gravity chamber.
Vegeta pants and is heavily sweating. He just finished another intense training session as he is desperately trying to catch up with Kakarot and achieve Super Saiyan 3.
'Damnit,' Vegeta thought with gritted teeth. 'No matter how hard I tried, I can't seem to achieve Super Saiyan 3.' Vegeta fell flat on his ass to catch his breath.
After a couple of minutes, he was about to activate the gravity chamber again when he heard a knock.
"Yo, Vegeta! It's me, Goku!" Goku said loudly from the other side of the door.
Vegeta grunts. What does this clown want? Can't he see that he is training?! 'I guess it couldn't hurt to see what this clown wants,' Vegeta lets out an exasperated sigh before walking towards the door.
He opens the door and was greeted with the sight of Goku grinning and seeing a tall ass stranger with his arms crossed.
"Hey there, best buddy!" Goku cheerfully said. "How have you been lately? It's been a while since we last seen each other."
"I've been training to surpass," Vegeta replied, crossing his arms and looking at Jayron. "Who is this person with you, Kakarot?"
"Oh, this is Jayron Bolden," Goku answered as he put his arm across Jayron's shoulders. "He going to be a new ally of ours."
"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance," Jayron says curtly. 'Hmm, he gives off a vibe of arrogance. Something tells he going to be more than a handful.'
'Jayron Bolden? I swear I heard that name somewhere before...' Vegeta thought as he look into space, contemplating where he could have that name before. Then it dawned on him. It is the legendary war hero that supposedly went to the negative side of the omniverse willingly for seven years straight and is the main reason why the War of Delirium was won. 'So, he does exist?! I thought he was just a myth...' Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Jayron. For all the years he has been with Bulma, the woman can never shut up about him as she was impressed by his feats and is smitten by his handsomeness. She has a celebrity crush on him as the people of Earth like to call it.
"Vegeta, are you still with us?" Goku asked, waving his hand in front of the prince's face. This snaps Prince out of his thoughts. "There you are! I thought we lost you there for a second."
Vegeta rolls his eyes at his fellow Saiyan. "Whatever," Vegeta looks toward Jayron with a raised brow. "Mind telling me why a person like you is doing here? It's not every day to have a person of your status visiting us."
"I'm gathering up a team," Jayron answered plainly. "The negative side of the omniverse has opened and I know I can't take them alone. Would you join me?"
Vegeta's eyes open wide at this, but he quickly regains his composure as he shouldn't be too surprised at this. The negative side of the omniverse doesn't seem like they have beings who would give easily on achieving goals, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to break the seal.
"This is why I don't trust seals," Vegeta sighed and muttered under his breath before looking Jayron in the eye. "I'll join. On one condition though, I want to spare with you, right here and now."
Jayron grins as he quickly enters his horse stance.
Goku's eyes lit up at this. "Oh, I wanna join in this spar too!"
"Stay out of this, Kakarot! This is between me and him!" Vegeta snarled at Goku while shooting him the meanest look.
Goku is bummed out by this but quickly went back to being happy. 'Well, at least this would be a good way to see what Jayron is capable of and a great way to study him. I'm also curious to see if Vegeta has unlocked Super Saiyan 3 or learn any new techniques,'
Vegeta quickly enters his fighting stance and the two stare each other down. They stay still for a couple of seconds before Vegeta flew towards them with a kick aimed at Jayron's face. Jayron uses the high block to stop the attack and he grabs Vegeta's leg and slams the Prince of all Saiyans down to the ground. Shaking the whole corporation. Jayron was about to slam Vegeta again, but Vegeta shot a ki blast into Jayron's eyes. Blinding the war hero as he let Vegeta's leg go to rub his eyes. 'So the super senses about him are correct,' Vegeta thought, he smirked as he fire more ki blasts to keep Jayron blind. 'Excellent, I can use that to my advantage!' He suddenly stops firing when he realized that Jayron isn't in the same spot anymore, greatly confusing the Prince. 'Where did he go?!' He continues to look around until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around before being decked in the face by Jayron. Vegeta flew across the gravity chamber before hitting a wall and dropping to the ground. Vegeta groans as he slowly gets up and sees Jayron looking at him with an impressed look.
"I have to say, that was genius for you to recognize my senses are very sensitive and decided to use that to your advantage," Jayron said in an amazed tone, however, his expression soon turned serious. "However, don't get used to that tactic as I'm used to fighting blind."
Vegeta scoffs at this. "Please, I'm not an imbecile. I know you're a warrior, so you're probably used to fighting blind. However, prepare to face a Super Saiyan," Vegeta quickly transformed into Super Saiyan. The prince of all Saiyans. "I hope you can keep up with me." Vegeta disappeared and reappeared close to Jayron's face in an instant. He sends a jab at the war hero's cheek. Jayron dodged it. Vegeta just tch and followed up with a mean right hook. Jayron dodged that one too. Jayron yawns with a hint of a smug smile on his lips, mocking the Prince. Vegeta growls and he begins to send a barrage of jabs, crosses, and hooks at the war hero. Jayron bobs and weaves the attacks with great ease while giving Vegeta a full smug grin now. Irritated at being mocked, Vegeta begins to ramp up his speed and the power of his attacks as the force of the attacks can now be felt throughout the multiple solar systems. However, it had no effect as he can see that Jayron is not impressed and begins to grow bored of this. Vegeta flew away from Jayron to create some distance and to calm himself.
Goku didn't take his eyes off the whole fight and he has to say, Jayron blow his expectations way out of the water! He knew that Jayron is an impressive figure for a reason, but wow, he didn't expect Jayron to be this powerful as he is not taking his fight with Vegeta seriously at all. 'Man, I can't wait to fight him!' Goku thought with a wide smile, he could barely contain himself as the idea of fighting Jayron is looking more appealing the longer this fight goes on. 'I wonder if he will be willing to train us,'
"This is all you have to offer?" Jayron asked in a disappointed tone, this is not how he thought that this will go. "Man, what a letdown, I was expecting a fight. Not whatever this is."
A vein appeared on Vegeta's forehead and he gritted his teeth as he begins to shake in anger at Jayron's words. "I will make you eat those words!" Vegeta instantly transformed into Super Saiyan 2. He flew at high speeds towards Jayron and cocked his fist back. He launched at Jayron's face with all his might. Jayron didn't budge at this, looking at the Saiyan with an unamused look. Vegeta growls before sending barrages and kicks at the war hero, not holding anything back. Jayron just stood there and take it all, not affected in the slightest by Vegeta's onslaught. Jayron let out a yawn out of sheer boredom. This enrages Vegeta further as he jumped back from Jayron and raises his palm towards Jayron to prepare his attack. "That does it! Prepare to eat those words! BIG BANG ATTACK!" A blue blast of KI formed and the attack hit Jayron. Causing smoke to appear. Jayron leaped out of the smoke and aimed a well-placed tong kick at Vegeta's side. Vegeta stumbles back from the kick and held his side to soothe the pain. Vegeta hissed and tried to retaliate with a punch, but he fell to his knees and went back to his base form as the pain is unbearable for him to continue. Ending the fight.
Jayron lets out a sigh of disappointment. "I was expecting more out of you," Vegeta growls at this. He wanted to sock Jayron in the face for that comment, but he can't as that kick took all the energy out of him. "However, I see you do have great potential in you and you can fight well. You just haven't the right teachers to bring that potential out of you. And you can improve as a fighter as your fighting style seem to be military style as it does enough for you to get by in a fight, but will lose to a fighter that trains in any martial art and is equal to your power." Jayron offers Vegeta his hand.
Vegeta smacks his hand away. "I don't need your help!" Vegeta grunts as a sharp pain hit when he tries to stand up. "I admit, you're the most powerful warrior I ever fought, you have my respect for that, but now, I will work on surpassing you without your help." Vegeta scoffs and he walks out of the gravity chamber to lay down to get some rest. Before he exited the room, he turned around and look at Jayron. "And yes, I will join your team." With that, Vegeta left the room.
Leaving the two alone.
Goku sheepishly grinned at this as he broke the silence. "Classic Vegeta," He then looks at Jayron with amazement in his eyes. "Wow, you are strong! I heard stories of how powerful you are, but you have blown my expectations out of the water! I'm even more excited about our sparring session now!"
Jayron crossed his arms. "I just hope you're not a disappointment like Vegeta," Jayron sighs. "Speaking of that Vegeta guy, he seems like he going to be hard to work with and he doesn't seem that trustworthy."
"Hey now, I know Vegeta isn't all that great to be around at times, but I can assure you that he is a good dude, he just quick to anger," Goku assured Jayron and defended his friend.
"I take your word for it," Jayron said. "Now, what?"
Goku thinks for a second before he got it. "Well, we have another friend that probably would join. Follow me."
Goku exited the gravity chamber with Jayron following close behind him. Once they made it outside, the two quickly took off into the city.
2 minutes later, Krillin's apartment.
The two landed on the ground and they looked at the apartment.
Jayron whistles at the apartment, impressed at the architecture of it. "Whew, this looks like a nice place,"
"Oh, wait till you see the inside," Goku said with a smile. "Any, let's not waste any more time." The two walked into the apartment.
The two made it to the apartment and Goku knocked on the door.
A couple of seconds have past and there was no answer. The two give each other a confused look as Goku did feel Krillin's power level in there while Jayron hears...moaning in there. Goku knocked a little louder this time to make sure it is heard.
"Who is it?!" Krillin asked from the other side of the door as Jayron hears shuffling in there.
After a couple of seconds, Krillin opened the door. Looking like a hot mess. "Oh hi, Goku," Krillin greeted between his pants. "I wasn't expecting you here today."
"Hi, Krillin!" Goku happily greeted back. "Man, you look like you went through an intense training session. I hope I didn't disturb with you that."
'...Lord, he seems to be naive,' Jayron thought, shaking his head at this.
Krillin gives him a dismissive wave. "Oh, no, you're fine. Besides, it's not like you to come here unexpectedly so what's up?" Krillin notices Jayron standing next to him. 'Oh, Kami! That guy is almost a foot taller than Goku!' "And who is your new friend, Goku?"
"The name is Jayron Bolden," Jayron introduced himself. "I'm the reason he is here."
Krillin furrowed his brow at this. 'Jayron Bolden? I swear that name is familiar...' Krillin stroked his chin in thought. It dawned on him that he is the legendary hero. "Oh holy moly!" Krillin exclaimed in shock, his eyes nearly bulging out his sockets. "I never thought I would meet you! And Kami, you're way taller than I expected."
"Nice to meet you," Jayron said. "May come we in?"
"S-sure," Krillin stammered out.
Goku grins and Jayron gives the short police officer a nod of gratitude as the two entered the apartment.
Jayron looks around the apartment and is awed by the beauty of the apartment. 'Man, I wouldn't mind living here,' Jayron cracked a small smile. 'Although my maids would complain about how small the apartment would be for all of us.' Jayron silently giggled to himself.
Krillin is in disbelief at this. He has Jayron himself in his apartment?! He has been on crazy adventures and faced strange and powerful beings in the universe, but this is the most surreal moment in his life. There is a lot of questions he wants to ask the veteran. Like what the most difficult war he has ever been in, is there a limit to his regeneration abilities, or what the negative side of the omniverse is like? He doesn't even know where to start as they will be here all day with Krillin asking Jayron questions and Jayron answering them.
"Who was it, babe?" Android 18 asked.
Everyone turned and saw Android 18 leaning against the wall with her arms crossed and wearing a dark blue bathrobe. Slightly looking annoyed that her and Krillin's love session was interrupted.
"Oh hi 18," Goku waved at the android. "Long time no see."
"Oh, hi, Goku," 18 plainly greeted, seeing who the culprit is now. "Fancy seeing you here."
"Yeah, I know I don't come here often as I used to as work got in the way," Goku said while sheepishly scratching his head.
"Eh, don't worry about it," 18 shrugged. "Life happens. What brings you by here?"
"It's because of me," Jayron spoke up, stepping closer to 18. 18's eyes slightly widened at this as she instantly recognized who he is. "The name is-"
"I already know who you are," 18 cut the war hero off. She looks at Jayron with disbelief. "Hmm, I have to say, I'm impressed with your feats, and you're taller than I expected. The name is 18."
"Well, you flattered me miss," Jayron grinned before his expression soon turned serious. "I cut to the chase, the negative side of the Omniverse is unsealed.'
Krillin and 18's eyes went wide at this. The negative side of the omniverse? The place where the worst of criminals and being reside. A place where war and chaos are normal and where it is a dog-eat-dog world there has been unsealed?!
"...I need to sit down," Krillin plopped down on the couch, processing the news as a nuclear bomb dropped on him.
18 is silent at this as a lot of thoughts are running through her head. Mainly about her child, Marron, safety in this world.
"I know it is a lot to process and I hate that this is happening, but it is and something must be done about this," Jayron said, breaking the two out of their thoughts and they looked at him with a curious look. "I'm gathering a team of strong warriors. And Goku led me to you two. What do you say? Are you in or do you want to live in a miserable and shitty existence for the rest of your lives?"
Krillin and 18 turned to each other. Like all the others, they have faced threats that could threaten the entire solar system or multiple of them. But this event is beyond anything they have faced. They are dealing with beings that could wipe out entire universes, multiverses, or omniverses from existence. If not that, they have beings with brilliant minds that could or have come up with weapons that can destroy an omniverse. The two know they are out of their league with this new adventure that is about to begin, but their lives are on the line and so is everyone else. There is only one correct answer to the war hero's question...
"We're in," 18 said with a determined expression and her arms crossed. "I have heard stories of what beings from that side are capable of or how low they could go in morality."
Jayron smiles. "Good then. I promise you that we will send those bastards packing."
"However, I have some questions for you," Krilin said.
Jayron turns his attention to him. "Ask away,"
"What was it like in there?" Krillin asked. There is only one person in the omniverse who has escaped from that side of existence and it's Jayron. He needs to get all the information he can on what they are going against because this going to be the hardest fight of their lives.
Jayron slightly shivers at the memories which Krillin notices and he begins to worry that he might have struck a nerve in Jayron. He was about to say something, but Jayron cut him off. "It was surreal and terrifying if I'm being frank with you. The things I have come across there were...I can't even find the perfect words to describe them. Every day, I was constantly fighting with no breaks and I love fighting, but even I was getting tired of it when I got closer to the artifact. They are ruthless as hell as the methods they used to hurt was unlike any other pain I ever felt," Jayron winces at the memories as it was still fresh on his body. Krillin got goosebumps all over his body. Jayron is well-known for his immense tolerance of pain and to hear the legend himself talking about the beings that give the worst pain he ever felt. "And that is only the surface of the negative omniverse I explored, there is no telling what kind of horrors we will come across during our crusade against them and I'm not going to sugarcoat it...our side is woefully underprepared for an invasion against the negative side of the omniverse and it doesn't help that majority of the omniverse is unaware of this. However, we can spread the word, because we're going to need all the help we can get because I don't plan on living under the negative side of the omniverse control."
"I see..." Krillin said. This situation is a lot to process for him as this is going to be the biggest fight of their lives as a whole Omniverse is at stake. 'This is a lot to take in and I don't know if I feel too comfortable on a whole omniverse counting on us, but...' Krillin looks at his wife then at Goku and thinks about his daughter. 'However, I can't let them win as my family and friends are counting on me. And besides with Jayron on our side, I'm sure we can seal them back up.' Krillin
"Well, thanks for the info," Android 18 thanked Jayron. "Did you have any hideouts for us to discuss this further in the future?"
"My palace," Jayron said, he reached into his pocket and gave it to 18. "My address is written in there."
"Thanks, Jayron!" Krillin thanked with a smile. "We will meet you there!"
Jayron smiles. "Alright then. Catch you two later, we're going to have much to discuss when I get done recruiting," Jayron said, the two nodded. Jayron looked at Goku. "Come on, Goku, let's not waste any more time." Goku nodded and the two exited the apartment and flew off with Goku leading the way.
After 20 minutes had passed, the two arrived in an empty tundra and the two landed on the ground.
Jayron looked around and saw nobody around and his senses didn't pick up on anyone around either.
"Why are we here Goku?" Jayron asked, narrowing his eyes at the Saiyan as he was on guard in case Goku tried anything
Goku sheepishly scratches his head. "Well, I know this is rude to see that you are in a rush to recruit to your cause, but I just couldn't contain myself! Seeing how easily you defeated Vegeta with one attack made me more excited to fight you!"
Jayron drops his guard a bit. "Huh, you must really love fighting," Jayron has met a lot of battle maniacs in his lifetime, but during his short time with Goku, the Saiyan is showing the war hero that Goku is the biggest one he has met which is saying a lot about Goku. 'Then again, I think Ausog may have him beat if my memory recalls correctly.' "Fine, it wouldn't hurt to kill some time and I do need a little excitement. And this would be a good way of testing you out and see how well you can handle yourself." Jayron enters a front stance.
Goku grins and closes his eyes as he begins to jump up and down to warm himself up. After a couple of seconds, he opens his eyes with an excited glint and enters his fighting stance. The two looked at each other for a couple of seconds before Goku flew and sent a jab at the war hero's jaw. Jayron caught the punch and pushed the Saiyan back. Goku uses his momentum to his favor as he flies at Jayron at full speed and he sends a hard kick at Jayron's neck. Jayron caught the kick and pushed the Saiyan back. Goku stops himself from going any farther by planting his left foot on the ground. Goku looks at Jayron with amazement in his eyes. 'Whoa, his reflexes are on point! And there are no flaws in his stance at all! He exceeded my expectations!' "Stop holding me back and show me what you are really capable of!" Jayron suddenly orders, snapping the Saiyan out of his thoughts. "I know you aren't using your full power against me which I understand as you've trying to get a read of your opponent, but don't do it against me! I can take whatever you can dish against me."
Goku looks at Jayron for a second before his expression turns serious. "You ask for it! I show what I am fully capable of!" With that, Goku begins to clench his fists, and a golden aura with electricity sparkles. Goku lets out a warrior yell as his hair begins to turn golden and begin to grow. Also, his eyebrows disappear, which is weird to Jayron. After a couple of seconds, the Saiyan finished transforming and Goku looked at Jayron with a proud smile on his face. "Say hello to Super Saiyan 3."
Jayron whistles. "Whoa, I have to admit, that is badass transformation you have!" Jayron narrowed his eyes at Saiyan. "However, there is one thing bothering me about the transformation...where the fuck is your eyebrows?"
"...That's what you worry about?" Goku asked, sweatdroping at this.
Jayron sighs. "I mean you don't question where your eyebrows go when you transform?"
"No, not really," Goku answered.
Jayron shakes his head. "Enough chit-chat, show me if that transformation deserves that badass appearance,"
"With pleasure," Goku grins as he disappears and reappears behind Jayron. He elbowed Jayron in his back, but Jayron dodged the attack and swept Goku's legs. Jayron cocked his fist back and send a mean left hook, the attack didn't connect as Goku aims his palm at Jayron's face and fired a ki blast. Catching the war hero off guard. Goku jumps back to create some distance. 'Damn, he is keeping with Super Saiyan 3! I shouldn't be surprised seeing how easily he dispatched Vegeta, but I underestimated Jayron. This guy is a monster!' Goku thought he knew this sparring match wasn't going to last any longer as he now knew he couldn't take Jayron head-on or in a fair fight as Jayron is way out of his class. However, this sparring match just made him more excited to work with Jayron. 'Man, it going to be exciting to train under him and the opponents we're going to come across during this journey are going to be awesome!'
"Pay attention," Goku was lost in his head as Jayron landed a hard vertical punch in Goku's abdomen, causing the Saiyan to cough up saliva, fall to his knees, and exit Super Saiyan 3. Jayron stands over him with his arms crossed and an unimpressed look on his face. "I have to say, you're an excellent martial artist and your potential is extraordinary! However, you're too relaxed in fights and can get too excited in fights. I say you need to work on both of them or else, it will cost you greatly in the future."
"Noted..." Goku managed to grunt out, The punch did a number on him as he tried to get up, but a sharp pain hit him when he did that. Forcing him back to the ground.
Jayron winces at this and decides to help Goku up as he puts Goku's arm over his shoulders. "Sorry about that, I might have put too much force into the punch," Jayron sheepishly scratched his head.
"Oh, you're...fine," Goku grumbled, trying to wave it off, but his legs wobbled. "I'll...be...good as new...if we get some senzu beans."
Jayron raised his brow at this. "Senzu beans? What is that?"
Goku didn't answer, instead, he grinned and put two fingers on the middle of his forehead and the two disappeared.
