(Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers; just Anwen, Liam and any other OC's scattered across the chapters.)

(Authors Note: Bonjour dearest readers, fellow writers, fangirls, fanboys, and Transformers fans of every size, shape, color and gender! As I mentioned in my last chapter, updates are going to be kinda slow during this month as I am currently assisting my sister and brother-in-law with taking care of their baby and helping them pack for their upcoming move. So far, everything has been going pretty good as my niece is freakin adorable and gets cuter by the day. She's been cooing and squeaking a lot lately and she's trying to laugh, so here's hoping she'll be doing that soon :D However, she's also been having a lot of gas buildup in her little tummy, which means a LOT of crying...like hours and hours of nonstop crying, despite doing everything in the book to try and calm/soothe her. I may have partial hearing loss in my right ear because of how loud she cries.

On a side note, I hope things have been going well for all of you and I hope this story has continued to provide entertainment and smiles :) Thank you all for the continued support and inspiring comments. Until next time, stay safe, stay sane, stay warm, and stay awesome! :) )

Chapter 34

-November-

During the next three weeks, Anwen and the twins grew exceptionally closer as a unit, to where they were now sleeping/recharging together at night. No sex, just sleep/recharge...and maybe some cuddles/make-out sessions. As Sunstreaker and Sideswipe had promised, they were more than willing to wait until she was ready to interphase; however, they mentioned that it would be best to wait until they were sparkbonded. Of course, upon Anwen's request, they needed Liam's blessing first. While both twins wanted to be joined with her now, they knew his approval would mean the world to her, hence why they were currently seeking an audience with him. Thankfully, he was already aware of their relationship to his sister:

-Halloween (Maggie's apartment)-

As the girls were in the bedroom/bathroom area doing their makeup, Liam approached the two Autobot frontliners:

"Puis-je vous demander quelque chose les gars (Can I ask you guys something)?"

"Sure," Sideswipe replied as he poured himself, his brother, and the Major a glass of bourbon.

"How long have you two been dating my sister?"

Both twins froze before Sunstreaker answered, "Our kind does not 'date', we court. However, before I answer your question, we must explain the importance and significance of our relationship with Anwen. Will you allow us to state our case?"

"Go ahead," he neutrally replied as he took a seat at the counter while Sideswipe spoke:

"You see, we Cybertronians have sparks as opposed to hearts; but unlike your human hearts, our sparks are more than just our lifeforce: they're essentially our souls and the source of our emotions. At times, they're an entity of their own and sometimes act without our complete understanding. When I first interacted with your sister, I felt a strange pull on my spark and didn't think much of it until Sunny experienced the same thing."

Sunstreaker then added, "As you might have learned, Sides and I are split-sparked twins, meaning that when we were sparked, or conceived, the original spark divided into two separate sparks, resulting in two beings as opposed to one. In this, we can feel each others emotions and experiences; so when I felt a strange pull on my spark, I knew he was feeling it too; however, I had no idea what it was until I learned the truth: our sparks were reaching out towards your sister because they recognized her as our mate."

"Now, before you judge, let me explain," Sideswipe chimed in. "We Cybertronians can seek relationships with other bots, but when our sparks recognize the one we're meant to be with, we fully dedicate ourselves to that one individual. Now, that doesn't mean everybot will find their sparkmate. For some, they never find the 'one' they're meant to be with and either forgo a permanent relationship, or form a bond with someone whom their sparks don't spiritually connect with, and therefore, never truly feel complete. Others are unfortunately obligated to comply with an arranged bonding as a means to succeed in political or social status; but such a thing hasn't happened in a millennia...or at least not since the war completely overtook our planet."

"That aside," Sunstreaker continued. "We were never fortunate to find someone who was meant for the both of us...until we came here to Earth and met Anwen. Your sister is our light amidst the darkness, and our sparks incarnate. No amount of words can accurately describe how much she means to us, but we love her more than anything in this entire universe. Now, as for how long we've been courting her: it hasn't quite been two months yet, but we're taking our relationship at a reasonable pace and have not done anything without her consent. We first got to know your sister as friends, to which our relationship blossomed from there."

Liam sat quietly for a moment before asking, "Have you engaged in any sexual activities with her yet?"

"No," Sideswipe sincerely replied. "We respect her decision to wait until she's ready."

"Bon (Good)," he sighed in relief. Yes, it was an awkward question to ask and have answered, but he needed assurance that his sister wasn't being taken advantage of. He knew the Autobots were trustworthy and weren't prone to lying, unlike their Decepticon counterparts and most humans.

"Just out of curiosity, how did you come to the conclusion that we were courting your sister?"

At that, he smirked, "Oh please, it wasn't that hard to put two and two together. I see the way she looks at the both of you, with a light in her eyes and that blush on her cheeks. I also see the way you both look at her: your optics take on a softer glow and your facial features are more relaxed. I may not have had much success when it came to my past relationships, but I know love when I see it."

"You're not upset that your sister is being courted by a pair of Cybertronians?"

Liam took a sip of his bourbon and shook his head, "Non (No). Je suis un peu surpris, mais je ne suis pas contrarié (I'm a bit surprised, but I'm not upset). I can tell that you care deeply for Lottie, and that she feels the same about the two of you. You both may not have been what I expected when I learned that she was in a relationship, but I can see that the two of you make her happy. In truth, that's all I ever wanted for her."

-Present-

Sunstreaker and Sideswipe found the Major out on a morning run with Maggie. Both of them had also grown close over the last few weeks and had officially started dating as of last week. As they were about to jog down to the beach, they noticed the pair of Lamborghinis approaching their location. "Bonjour Sunstreaker et Sideswipe, comment allez-vous aujourd'hui (Hello _and_, how are you today)?"

"We're fine, thanks for asking," Sideswipe casually replied as he and his brother transformed before the two humans. "We actually wanted to ask you something important."

"Oh? What's it about?"

"It's personal," Sunstreaker stated as he crossed his arms over his chassis.

Sensing that they wanted to speak to Liam alone, Maggie took the hint, "I'm just gonna pop over to the gym for a bit. Come find me when you're done," she then kissed him on the cheek, to which he gave her a handsome smile:

"I'll see you in a bit." With that, she jogged away, leaving him alone with the two frontliners, "So, what is it you two wanted to talk to me about?"

"Well, Sunstreaker and I are here to properly ask for your blessing and permission to sparkbond with Anwen."

"Well now, that's quite a request." He emitted a sigh and stared down at the ground for a moment before facing them once more, "I will give you my blessing on the condition that the three of you wait until after her birthday to partake in this sparkbond. Alright?"

"That's fair," Sunstreaker noted. "Thank you for your approval and blessing. This means everything to us and to your sister."

"Yea, well, you two mean the world to Lottie and I just want her to be happy." A smile lined his face as he placed his (good) hand on his hip, "So after you two sparkbond with my sister, I guess that'll make you my brothers-in-law, huh?"

"That's the correct human equivalent, yes," the gold twin casually replied.

"Joli (Nice)."

Meanwhile, Anwen was in the lounge room of the recreational center, playing the piano while Ratchet, and Moonracer casually sat nearby and enjoyed the music. Since it was Saturday and the weekend before Thanksgiving, many of the humans were preparing to leave Diego Garcia to visit their families, while others opted to stay on base.

"So, are you looking forward to your trip to Quebec," Ratchet curiously asked the young ginger as she took a moment to rest her fingers.

Anwen turned in her seat and gave the CMO a nod, "Oh oui, but unfortunately we'll have to drive there from New York because Sunstreaker and Sideswipe can't comfortably ride in a standard aircraft if we were to take an adjacent flight."

"Ah yes, I heard they were accompanying you and your brother on the trip," Moonracer noted with a smile. "Just out of curiosity, what sort of activities do you all plan to do while you're away? I've heard about your human 'vacations', but I don't quite understand what it is you do on them."

"Well, it all depends on where you're going and what sort of things you enjoy doing or want to try. Some people take a vacation to get away from the stress back home, or to see new places. But to me, a vacation is mostly about losing yourself in the moment and enjoying life to the fullest...or at least that's my personal opinion. But as to what we're planning to do, I'm not entirely sure since Liam and the twins were the ones who made all the arrangements."

"Well, regardless, we hope you all have fun and enjoy yourselves."

"Merci...but what about you? What will you guys do while we're away?"

"Oh, don't you worry about us, young one," Ratchet stated. "We'll find plenty of things to do for the next few days." He then gently squeezed Moonracer's thigh, to which she emitted a surprised shriek:

"Eep, Ratchet…"

{What? I couldn't resist. You're too...irresistible,} he lustfully growled in her audio receptor before planting a series of kisses along her neck cables.

{Mmm, Ratchet...I love you.}

{And I love you, my dearest Moon.} The two of them then shared a passionate kiss while Anwen just smiled and shook her head before turning back around and resumed her playing.

As she casually began performing Beauty and the Beast from memory, she heard the Autobot-sized door to the lounge *swish* open, to which she glanced into the overhead mirror and saw her twins, Prime and Elita-1 enter the vicinity.

"Good morning, Miss Bleu. Have you finished packing for your upcoming trip," the femme commander curiously inquired, to which she gave her a curt nod:

"Ouais (Yep). I've got both my duffle bag and my backpack all packed and ready to go," she gestured towards the bags propped against the side of the piano.

"You didn't forget anything, did you," Sideswipe asked with a fond smirk lining his handsome face, to which she playfully rolled her golden amber eyes.

"Non, mon cher (No, my dear), I triple checked my list before I came over here. But now you've inadvertently triggered my inner paranoia, so now I have to check my list again."

"Sorry about that," he sincerely replied while his brother shook his helm in disapproval of his prior question.

Anwen just shrugged and waved it off while a smile appeared across her cheeks, "Pas de soucis (No worries). It's better to quadruple check than to triple check and completely oversee a flaw that hadn't previously been accounted for." She then casually stood up from the piano bench and seated herself onto the floor across from her bags.

"Need I ask what you're bringing on your trip that would require such a large rucksack," Moonracer inquired while gesturing to her duffel bag.

"Oh, well, I'm bringing my winter clothes and my snow boots as I expect we'll be in for some freezing weather while we're in Quebec. Ah, that reminds me...Ratchet, do you still have the items I asked you to subspace?"

"I do," he replied while reaching into his personal storage dimension and retrieving two large cylinder bags, to which he stood up and presented them to the two frontliners.

"What's this," Sunstreaker inquired with a raised brow.

"They're gifts for the both of you," Anwen replied with a blush.

"Aw, sweetspark, you didn't have to get us anything."

"I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. Besides, you'll need these for our upcoming journey; especially during this time of year."

Opening them up, both twins were surprised to discover a pair of custom Lamborghini car covers with elastic front and rear hems (for a snug fit), six layers of weatherproof material (with fleece lining), and adjustable wind straps. As part of the customization, Sideswipe's cover was silver and black in color while Sunstreaker's was black and gold.

"Sparklight...I don't even know what to say," the golden frontliner stated as he examined the fine material.

With a smile she shook her head, "Then don't say anything. The look on your faces says it all."

"Sweetspark, these are the most thoughtful and practical gifts we've ever received. Thank you."

"De rien (You're welcome). I'm just glad you like them."

"Like them? We love them! Right Sunny?"

"Indeed. I'm tempted to try mine on now to see how well it fits."

"I won't stop you if you do," Anwen winked, which brought knowing smiles to both twins' faces.

With that, Sunstreaker transformed into his alt mode and simultaneously slipped on his new cover. :It fits perfectly, and it's really warm.:

"I'm glad to hear that. They're also scratch resistant and are reinforced around the front and back windshield areas."

He transformed back into his bipedal mode and folded the cover up to return it to the tote, "Very nice. I'm sure Sides and I will get plenty of use out of these while we're visiting your homeland."

"That was my intention when I ordered them for you. I honestly don't know how often you two will be able to walk around as you are now, so I figured I'd get you both something you'd be able to use whenever you're stationary."

"Well we greatly appreciate the thought that was put into these gifts. Thank you, Anwen."

"De rien (You're welcome)."

-1300-

Upon saying her temporary goodbyes to Optimus, Elita, Mama Rosita and Maggie, Anwen was now saying her farewells to Ratchet and Moonracer while the twins patiently waited nearby.

"Contact us as soon as you land, alright," Moonracer stated in a motherly way before kneeling down and gently hugging the small redhead, to which she graciously returned the loving gesture:

"Je le ferai (I will)."

With a sigh, the medic stood back up and faced the twins, "I know you two will keep her and Liam safe, but if either of you pick up on any Decepticon signatures out there, avoid confrontation and evacuate the area."

"Understood," Sideswipe curtly replied while Sunstreaker gave a nod in agreement.

::And don't attempt anything spark related while you're out there. If anything were to happen, neither of us would be around to help,:: Ratchet sternly warned the two frontliners, via Comm. link.

::Upon our sparks, no such actions will take place during our voyage,:: the golden twin sincerely replied.

He raised a brow, but gave a nod before kneeling across from the young ginger, "Take care of those two lug nuts for us, alright?"

"Don't worry, I will." She then hugged him while he reciprocated the kind gesture, "Au revoir (Goodbye), Ratchet."

"Be safe, young one," he kindly replied while softly rubbing the top of her curly head.

With a sigh, Anwen parted from Ratchet's warm, fatherly embrace before following her brother and the twins onto the plane. Looking back, she waved goodbye to her human and Autobot friends, knowing she'd see them again in a week's time.

(Another Authors Note: Hello again everybody! I apologize if this chapter was a bit shorter than the others, but mind you that I haven't had much time to write as I'm dedicating most of my time to caring for my niece and assisting with some housework and packing for my sister and brother-in-laws upcoming move. Also, despite its slightly shorter length, I think this chapter turned out alright and left things on a good note for the time being :) I hope to post another chapter before the end of this month, but we'll see if I have time to do so, seeing as how caring for a baby is a very time-consuming job that leaves little room for writing. Ah well. Until next time, stay awesome!)
