(Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers; just Anwen, Liam and any other OC's)

(Authors Note: Hello my dearest readers, fellow writers, fangirls, fanboys, and TF fans from every corner of the globe! WOW! Can you believe it's now been a year since I first uploaded this story?! It seems like only yesterday I piqued your curiosity and enticed you all with this wholesomely sweet/slightly risque story of mine. I understand some of you are on the edge of your seats wondering when the three of them will sparkbond and consummate their relationship in a blissful night of passionate fornication, but please understand why I'm taking my story at its current pace: 1. Anwen has never experienced such scenarios and is nervous about what to do or what to expect. Yes, she and the twins are figuring things out as they come (don't twist my words there), but it's still a learning process for them nonetheless. 2. Both Sunstreaker and Sideswipe promised her (and Liam) that they would wait until after her 20th birthday to sparkbond and participate in any sexual activity. This whole bonding thing is a big deal to the three of them and what follows afterwards is just as special. And 3. The three of them are taking their relationship at a fairly reasonable pace and have been using this time to strengthen and further develop said relationship. Now, with all that said, I hope you all enjoy the latest chapter and if you'd like, please leave a comment down below :) I really do enjoy your positive feedback and draw inspiration from them. Again, thank you all so much for the continued support :) Until next time, stay safe, stay sane, and stay awesome!)

Chapter 36

-Later-

Upon leaving the cemetery, Liam suggested heading over to the storage facility, to which Anwen was in agreement. Until recently, she was unaware that some of their parents' belongings had been spared from the estate sale, so she was now eager to see what had been saved. For their part, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were also curious to see what sort of things had been stored away.

"So, what do you think is in there, Ani?"

"I'm not sure," she admitted as the four of them entered the building and walked down the long hallway. "My brother hasn't exactly been very forward when it comes to sharing such information," she stated while teasingly poking Liam's (good) arm, to which a slight chuckle was heard from the Major as he led them over to the designated unit:

"That's because it's a surprise."

"Oh vraiment (_ really)?"

"Mhmm," he smirked as he unlocked the climate controlled storage room and flipped the power switch to reveal a beautiful upright piano and nine boxes neatly placed along the floor.

At the sight of the familiar instrument, Anwen's eyes began to tear up, "...L-Liam..is that…"

"Oui, c'est le cas (Yes, it is)," he warmly smiled as she ghosted her fingers along the wooden frame. "It just needs some tuning and a little dusting, but otherwise it's just like we remember it."

She wiped away her tears and nodded before sitting herself at the piano bench, not caring if it was dusty or not, "...I honestly never thought I'd see this piano again."

"Neither did I, until Jean and Annette Basil proved me otherwise."

"Do you have their current address so that I may write to them and properly thank them for keeping these things safe for us?"

"Bien sûr (Of course). I'll give it to you when we return to the Chateau."

"Merci." She then stood up from the bench seat and approached the pile of boxes where she noticed some writing along the top and sides, which listed their contents. The largest box (which came up to her thighs) read: Peintures et oeuvres d'art (Paintings and artwork). The second and third largest boxes were labeled: Fragile! Ornements et décorations de Noël (_! Christmas ornaments and decorations). The forth and fifth boxes: Annuaires, souvenirs et photos (Yearbooks, keepsakes and photos). The sixth: Livres de cuisine et recettes (Cookbooks and recipes). The seventh: Carnets de croquis et fournitures artistiques (Sketchbooks and art supplies). And finally, the eighth and ninth: Livres (Books).

*sigh* "I really want to see what all's inside these boxes, but I don't have any means to seal them back up afterwards."

"Then I guess you'll just have to wait until we're back in Diego Garcia to open them," Liam replied with a slight smirk, to which she turned to face him and asked:

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, we're taking everything back with us; including the piano." Before she could ask, he held up a hand and answered, "The twins and I talked about it earlier while you were still asleep. We're going to rent a small U-Haul truck and drive everything to the states where it'll all fly back with us."

"And Sunny was gonna tune it for you after we brought it up to your apartment," Sideswipe added with a smile. "We wanted to wait until your birthday to tell you, but..," he was suddenly cut off by her arms wrapping around his frame in a tight hug:

"Merci! Merci, merci, merci!" She peppered kisses along his cheeks before doing the same to Sunstreaker and Liam.

"I take it that you like your birthday gifts," the older twin asked with a fond smile, to which she nodded.

"Oui, I do. Merci."

"Of course."

-November 26th-

As the morning sunlight seeped through the curtains of the Chateau bedroom, Anwen awoke to the warm smell of maple syrup, to which she opened her eyes to see Liam, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe standing at the foot of her bed with various offerings in their hands: Sideswipe held a tray of food that consisted of freshly made pancakes (with a lit candle in the center) and a bowl of mixed fruit. Sunstreaker carried a mug of hot apple cider and a glass of milk. And Liam held a lovely bouquet of flowers that were tied off with a pale blue ribbon.

"Joyeux anniversaire, Lottie (Happy Birthday, _)/Happy Birthday, Anwen," they all said in unison, which brought a warm smile to her freckled face:

"Aww, merci beaucoup," she sat upright in the bed while Sideswipe carefully placed the serving tray across her lap, to which Sunstreaker then set both drinks atop it, while Liam handed her the flowers.

"Now make a wish and blow out your candle," he winked, causing her to emit a soft giggle:

"Bien, bien (Alright, alright)," with a grin, Anwen momentarily closed her golden amber eyes and (mentally) made her wish before blowing out the solitary candle atop her pancakes.

"So, Ani, what did you wish for?"

She shook her head at the younger twin, "I can't tell you or else it won't come true."

"Oh really," Sunstreaker questioned as he and his brother seated themselves alongside her while Liam took a seat at the foot of the bed.

"Oui; wishes are dreams, and a dream is a wish your heart makes."

"Vraiment, Lottie (Really, _)."

At his jovial remark, she playfully narrowed her eyes, "What? Don't judge me. It's my birthday, which means I can make all the Disney references I want."

"Uh-huh. Well regardless, what would you like to do to celebrate your womb eviction day?"

"First off: Eww. Second: I was thinking we'd head over to the cemetery after breakfast, and then maybe pick up some supplies for our drive back to the states tomorrow. Afterwards, maybe we can drive around town before stopping at the bar for a drink and something to eat."

"Cela me semble bien (Sounds good to me)." He then glanced at the two frontliners and asked, "What do you guys think?"

"Seems reasonable," Sunstreaker stated. "Although, we shouldn't stay out too late as we only have limited daylight hours at our disposal."

"That's alright," Anwen replied with a shrug. "I wasn't planning on us staying out any later than 1600. Besides, we'll need our rest for our trip tomorrow. By the way, what time are we supposed to pick up the U-Haul truck?"

"0800," Sideswipe answered. "Once that's done, we'll head over to the storage facility and load it up. I've got some ratchet straps in my subspace, so we can properly secure everything for the drive. Also, because of Liam's broken arm and your recovering injury, Sunny and I will take turns driving the truck."

"Attends, tu peux faire ça (Wait, can you do that)?"

"Of course," he replied with a wink. "When it comes to multitasking, Sunny and I are experts."

At that, Sunstreaker gave a slight nod in agreement before tenderly cupping her cheek and turning her head to face him, "You needn't worry about us, sparklight. We'll be fine."

"Tu promets (You promise)?"

"I do," he softly replied while brushing his thumb across her freckled skin.

Upon finishing her breakfast-in-bed and adorning her clothes, Anwen headed out of the Chateau with Liam and the twins, to which they drove over to the cemetery and pulled alongside the curb closest to the grave. Trudging through the freshly fallen snow, the four of them made their way over to the headstone and knelt before it.

"Bonjour, Maman et Papa," she spoke in a quiet voice while gently rubbing her gloved hand atop the cold ground. "Je sais que c'est mon anniversaire aujourd'hui et que je devrais le célébrer dans un endroit plus joyeux, mais je voulais en passer une partie à vous rendre visite tous les deux pour rattraper le temps perdu (I know it's my birthday today and that I should be celebrating it somewhere more joyous, but I wanted to spend a portion of it visiting the both of you as a means to make up for lost time)." Her lower lip softly started to quiver as tears began rolling down her cheeks, to which both twins placed a hand on her shoulders as a means of comfort while Liam offered his own support.

As they all sat in silence for the next few minutes, a soft cry caught their attention, which prompted all four of them to look around to see what it was and where it was coming from. "It seems to be coming from north of our location," Sideswipe stated as they all stood up and followed the sound. Moments later, they came upon a large maple tree with a medium-sized hollow at the base of the trunk. Upon hearing the pitiful sound again, both Anwen and Liam knew exactly what it was. Kneeling down, they peered into the hollow to find a small, skinny puppy huddled in the back and shivering from the cold. Its body was thin looking, and its fur was reddish brown in color around the base with a dark brown muzzle, ears and paws. Its ears were floppy, but looked like they'd point up in due time, and its eyes were chocolate brown and wet with tears.

"Oh mon Dieu, you poor little thing," Anwen removed her gloves and sat across from the hole where she then calmly tried to lure the freezing baby out. With a tiny whimper, the little pup tentatively inched closer and sniffed her offered hand before happily licking it, knowing she posed no threat and was actually there to help. With that, it crawled out of the tree base and eagerly climbed into her lap where she unzipped her coat, picked up the pup and placed it against her chest where she then zipped her coat back up as a means of insulating the small, furry baby. Of course, before she did, she made a quick check to see what gender it was and discovered the pup was a male. "Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, are you both able to detect any other lifeforms in the area? I need to know if this little one is alone or has siblings nearby."

With a nod, both of them set to work scanning their surroundings and (thankfully) found no other life forms other than squirrels and some mice. "I'm not picking up any life signatures matching its size," Sunstreaker casually replied. "As far as I can tell, the only lifeforms within this vicinity are us and the smaller creatures taking shelter underground or in the tops of the trees."

*sigh* "Bien (Good)," she gently hugged the small pup within her coat as a means to keep him warm while Liam handed over her gloves:

"We should head over to the vet and have him examined."

With a nod, she glanced over at the twins and asked, "Do you both mind if we go there now? I want to get this little one out of the cold as soon as possible."

"Sure thing," Sideswipe replied as he and Sunstreaker led them over to their alt forms. Upon slipping into the front seat, Anwen felt the seatbelt slide across her waist before the door closed behind her, to which the silver Lamborghini then took off with his twin (and Liam) following behind them.

During the drive, the young ginger kept the small pup wrapped in her coat while she soothingly spoke to him as he continued to slightly shiver against her chest:

"Là, là, ça ira. Ça va aller. Vous êtes en sécurité maintenant (There, there, it'll be alright. It'll be okay. You're safe now)." Understanding that she meant no harm, the little pup looked up at her with large, hopeful eyes, knowing that he was finally safe.

Upon arriving at the vet's office, Anwen and Sideswipe headed inside while Liam and Sunstreaker remained outside for the time being. It's not that they didn't want to go inside, but rather, they figured it wasn't necessary for all four of them to be inside. That, and the golden mech wanted to keep his sensors on high alert for any suspicious activity. While he hadn't voiced his concerns to Anwen or Liam just yet, he had received a slight ping on his radar earlier that morning during a quick patrol, which indicated that a Decepticon was within the city limits. Of course, he immediately informed Sideswipe of the situation and reminded him to refrain from making any transmissions to Diego Garcia in case they became intercepted by the enemy. For additional security, they also refrained from using their Comm. links and stuck to communicating through their bond. While the chances of them being discovered by the Con were slim, they refused to take any risks, especially when it came to Anwen and Liam's safety.

No. The least thing they wanted was for any sort of harm to befall her (or her brother). She was too precious and important to them to be subjected to such horror and pain. That, and they feared she'd panic at learning of the Con's presence within her hometown. She already lived through one Decepticon attack, and it had left her scarred for life: both physically and mentally. Of course, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe would have to tell her at some point, but right now it was best to keep this information to themselves so as to not invoke panic from their intended sparkmate.

Meanwhile inside, Anwen and Sideswipe approached the front desk/counter where a young brunette was finishing up a call with a patient, to which she then looked up at the pair and asked, "Puis-je vous aider (Can I help you)?"

With a nod, Anwen unzipped her coat, revealing the small, skinny puppy, "Oui; mon fiancé et moi étions en train de visiter le cimetière quand nous avons trouvé ce petit chiot grelottant de froid. Pouvez-vous l'examiner s'il vous plaît et voir s'il va bien (Yes; my fiance and I were visiting the cemetery when we found this little puppy shivering in the cold. Can you please examine him and see if he's going to be alright)?"

"Bien sûr. Aimeriez-vous être dans la pièce avec lui pendant que le vétérinaire fait son examen (Of course. Would you like to be in the room with him while the vet does his examination)?"

"Oui, merci (Yes, thank you)."

"Bien sûr. Maintenant, avant de le reprendre, pourriez-vous le placer sur la balance pour que nous puissions voir combien il pèse (Of course. Now, before we take him back, would you mind placing him on the scale so we can see how much he weighs)?"

Anwen gave her a nod before gently removing the furry baby from his cozy coat nest and placing him on the scale. Once his weight came through, she noted that it read 13lbs (5.8967kg), which was (obviously) less than what he should have weighed. Picking him up again, she carefully returned him to the warmth of her coat and body heat.

-One Hour Later-

After a thorough examination from the veterinarian, Anwen was informed that the puppy (while underweight) was going to be alright and should make a full recovery within a matter of weeks, provided that he received the proper diet and care. While there, the vet gave him his DHPP and rabies vaccines, fed him, trimmed his nails, checked him over for fleas (which thankfully, he had none), and ran a blood test (and stool test) to make sure he had no underlying parasites or illnesses. Fortunately, he didn't. The vet also determined that the pup was a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever/Labrador mix and was roughly two months old, despite his smaller size as a result of his undernourishment and the fact that he was likely the runt of his litter.

He also wasn't implanted with a microchip, which led everyone to believe that he was deliberately dumped off at the cemetery, rather than being someone's lost puppy. Of course, when the doctor asked if she wanted to surrender him over to be placed up for adoption, Anwen looked over at Sideswipe who in turn, gave her a knowing smile:

"I think you've already made your decision," he winked, to which she kissed his cheek and happily answered:

"On va le garder (We're going to keep him)." With a joyful grin lining her freckled face, she then glanced down at the little pup, "Tu rentres chez nous (You're coming home with us)." At her response, the puppy happily wagged his tail and began licking her cheek, making her giggle.

::Hey Sunny, looks like our little family just got a new member.::

::I somehow knew it would turn out that way,:: he replied with a faint chuckle. ::From the moment she found that furry thing, I knew Anwen would grow attached to it.::

::Well, I can't really blame her. He is rather cute and affectionate towards her.:: He was currently holding the furry baby while she dealt with the medical fees and paperwork, while also purchasing a medium-sized bag of Hills puppy food. Meanwhile, the pup was looking up at the frontliner with big, trusting eyes while he cocked his head to the left in a curious manner. "Okay, I'll admit it: you're cute."

With a happy wiggle, the puppy emitted an adorable *awoo*, to which Sideswipe couldn't help but chuckle. Of course, Anwen and the veterinary staff present were also finding it hard not to laugh at such a cute display. It was just so sweet and wholesome.

Upon finishing her payment, the young ginger placed her wallet back inside her backpack before the pup was presented to her once more, to which she happily took him into her arms and zipped him back into her coat, leaving his head poking out while she cradled him against her chest.

"Alors comment allez-vous l'appeler (So what are you going to name him)," the receptionist curiously asked as she finished printing off a copy of the medical file and placing it inside a folder for them to take home.

Glancing down at the furry baby, Anwen smiled and answered, "...Kenobi." Approving of his new name, the pup happily wagged his tail from underneath the jacket and licked her chin, causing her to giggle.

After leaving the vet's office, Anwen rode with Sunstreaker over to the local pet supply shop to obtain some items for Kenobi while Liam and Sideswipe headed to the supermarket to pick up supplies for the road trip back to New York.

"Somehow I had a feeling you'd name your K9 familiar after a Star Wars character," a small, knowing smirk lined the holoform's face as he kept his gaze on the road while she glanced over at him and shrugged:

"What can I say: the force is strong with this one," she gestured to her (now) sleeping fur baby, to which Sunstreaker playfully rolled his eyes as he pulled into the pet store parking lot.

"I'm glad you were able to rescue that small creature."

"Pareil ici (Same here). Although I can't take all the credit for rescuing him. You, Sideswipe and Liam helped too. If none of us were there, he wouldn't have survived another night huddled in that cold tree base." She gently stroked Kenobi's soft fur, to which the little pup emitted a yawn and stretched out across her lap, causing both her and Sunstreaker to smirk.

"While I'm not the biggest fan of organics in general, I will admit that this creature is rather amusing…despite the tank-churning messes it will make in the near future."

At his remark, Anwen couldn't help but chuckle, "Quoi (What)? It's just a natural part of expelling waste. I know your kind experiences similar functions as well."

"While that may be so, it's not exactly what you might think. Besides, organic waste is absolutely deplorable."

"Now that I agree with you on," she fondly replied while unfastening her seatbelt and stepping out of his alt form with Kenobi in her arms, to which she then donned her backpack across one of her shoulders and walked alongside her Autobot frontliner as they made their way inside the large shop.

"So what exactly does your K9 familiar need at this time," Sunstreaker asked as he grabbed a buggy (cart) and followed her over to the first aisle.

"Well, he'll need a harness and a leash for his bathroom walks, and I should also include some waste bags so as to properly dispose of his messes while on said walks," she stated as she selected an adjustable blue harness and matching leash while Kenobi happily sniffed them. Stepping over to the next aisle, Anwen picked up a box of compostable poop bags (with an included holder), some training treats, and a nylabone puppy dental chew before stopping by the adjacent aisle and kneeling down to place Kenobi on the floor so he was level with the toys.

"Might I ask what you're doing?"

She smiled up at him and stated, "I'm letting him pick out his first toy. Until we rescued him this morning, he's probably never had anything of his own before; so I want to give him the choice of selecting a special toy that's all his."

At that, Sunstreaker fondly glanced down at her, "You have a kind heart my dearest sparklight. This creature is indeed fortunate to have you as its primary caretaker."

"Merci," she tearfully replied before turning her attention back to her furry baby. At the moment, he was eagerly sniffing all of the toys until he found one he seemed to really like: it was a large gray, blue and tan colored triceratops that was soft to the touch and was made of chew guard material, which was practical for a teething puppy (or any dog for that matter). With a loud *SQUEAK, SQUEAK, SQUEAK* Kenobi happily began wagging his tail as he looked up at the two of them with those big puppy eyes as if to say 'Can I have this one? Pwease?'.

With a smile, Anwen lovingly rubbed the top of his head and smiled at his adorable gesture, "Oui, mon petit, tu peux avoir ce jouet (Yes, my little one, you may have this toy)."

His tail continued to fiercely wag in excitement as she gently picked him back up (with the toy still in his mouth) and warmly held him in her arms as they headed over to the next aisle where she selected two medium-sized collapsible bowls (with clips for convenient attachments) and placed them inside the cart with the other items. "Là, ça devrait le faire pour le moment (There, that should do it for the time being)."

"Is that everything?"

She nodded and gave him a smile, "Je le pense (I think so)...at least for now."

(Another Authors Note: Hello again dear readers! First of all, I hope you all enjoyed that chapter because I certainly enjoyed writing it. Quick awareness note: please don't leave your pets out in the freezing cold or blazing heat as their lives are just as precious as any child's. Also, don't adopt an animal and then abandon it when you realize that it actually takes time, patience, love and commitment to care for it. if you do plan to bring a new pet into your family, please consider adopting from your local shelters first as there are so many pets waiting to find their forever homes. Thank you.)

(On a side note: What do you all think of Kenobi? At first I was going to have him be a bit older, but then I thought 'How would Anwen be able to sneak him into the Chateau for their last night in town?' Sure, a smaller breed would obviously work out well enough, but I wanted something that would suit her lifestyle. Plus, I love the idea of a big dog growing up thinking he's a small lap dog. I also thought this would be a great learning/bonding experience for Anwen, Sunny and Sides because it's kinda like practice parenthood. I mean, yes, obviously Kenobi will always be her 'fur baby', but for the twins it's good practice (don't jump to conclusions just yet). Finally, another thanks to all of you for the continued support :) Until next time, may the force be with you ;) And remember to stay awesome!)
