|Mizukage's Tower, Kirigakure|

Knock! Knock!

With a grumble Yagura looked up from his paperwork, "What is it?"

A frightened petite looking blonde lady stepped in, "Y-you have a v-visitor Mizukage-sama." She shakily announced.

The Kage gave her a stern gaze, "I recall telling you to dismiss all visitors, right?" He asked, flaring a bit of his killing intent.

The blonde shivered even more, "H-he s-said it w-was urgent-t." She stammered, fearing that she will be executed right there and then.

"…Bring him in." Yagura sighed, letting up his KI.

"H-hai." The poor girl immediately dashed out and the visitor who happened to be wearing a black cloak walked in almost instantly and with confidence too.

That irked the Jinchuriki Kage, "And you are?" He questioned only to receive a few seconds of silence before a cluster of chuckles. Angered Yagura stood up and flared his chakra for an intimidating effect, "You dare chuckle in my presence?"

This action caused the visitor to go dead silent before suddenly reacting. Cracks appeared all over the room's walls and all living things within the office which included the Hidden team of ANBU and their Kage were rendered motionless by the pressure.

'It can't be.' The Mizukage thought in disbelief.

A couple of seconds later the chakra receded with the visitor calmly asking, "Do you now know who I am?"

Yagura nodded shakily, "ANBU leave us." He ordered.

"But sir-"

"LEAVE!" The four shadows immediately vanished from the office.

Seeing that it was only the two of them, the cloaked visitor uncovered his head revealing spiky black hair, pale skin and mismatched eyes. Yagura stepped forward and bowed in respect, "My Lord!"

Said Lord smirked, "Rise my child, we can't discuss with you assuming that position."

The Kage was instantly upright, "What do you wish to discuss my Lord?"

"This village's future of course."

|Training Grounds 11|

14:00

While Kin was busy attempting the second stage of Lightning manipulation which involved manifesting a chain of lightning between her palms and maintaining it for 5 minutes, her handler Atsushi who was a couple of meters away went through some Taijutsu Katas with the aim of incorporating them into the Base Goken (Strong Fist) style that he had learnt from Might Gai during the one month training session for the Chunin Exams.

'Right Punch, Left Punch, Right Kick, Left Kick.' The Kishida chanted as he performed each move, 'Leg sweep, Sidekick, High Kick, Roundhouse-'

BOOM!

Atsushi stumbled for bit before regaining his stance, 'Naruto!' He sighed knowing that the blonde is somehow responsible for the explosion.

"Ugh!" He heard someone fall.

"You okay Kin?"

"Yea," Said girl dusted herself off before straightening up, "So what blew up?" She questioned staring at the dark mushroom cloud not too far from where they currently stood, "It seems pretty large."

"Probably someone training," Atsushi said before facing her, "Continue practicing that Lightning Jutsu while I go check it out."

"But wait-" He was already gone.

Few Minutes Later

Sprinting through the foliage and evading trees roots, Atsushi arrived at the neighboring Training Grounds – Training Grounds 10, just in time to witness his Uchiha teammate avoid a barrage of flaming foxes from a couple of Shadow Clones belonging to a certain blonde Uzumaki.

Hidden behind a tree trunk Atsushi began to think, 'Sasuke was supposed to keep Naruto distracted at TG 7, so what are they doing all the way here at TG 10?' Sasuke elbowed a shadow clone in ribs dispelling it before charging at the remaining one and dropkicking it into white fumes, 'Did their fight migrate through TGs 8 and 9?' He spotted a Shadow Clone sneaking behind the now panting Uchiha and reacted quickly.

POOF!

Sasuke jumped up in shock then whirled around and threw a kick only for it to be caught by Atsushi, the Kishida noticed the look of relief on the Uchiha's face before it turned to one of suspicion, "Prove that you aren't a Shadow Clone under a henge?"

Atsushi thought for a while before responding, "During the second part of the Chunin Exams, you shoved off Orochimaru's killing intent by stabbing yourself with a kunai."

Sasuke's relief came back, "Thank goodness," He heaved before straightening up his posture, "I'm down to 40% Chakra and won't be able to hold back our Stamina freak of a teammate for much long." He revealed.

Recognizing that he was asking for help the Kishida smirked, "What happened to it being a piece of cake?"

The raven-haired frowned, "I didn't expect him to so tough, damn Jinchuriki plus Uzumaki traits." He mumbled.

"Hmm, so where is he now-"

"Wind Style: Vacuum Bullets!"

The two leapt away as barrage of wind spheres impacted their previous position.

"Nevermind." Atsushi added as the grinning Uzumaki revealed himself.

"Ah, I don't know you had Sushi as your backup teme."

Sasuke scowled but kept his silence while Atsushi in a bid to buy time and also satisfy his curiosity spoke up, "Is the dark mushroom cloud your doing?"

This question made the grin on Naruto's face to widen, "Oh just a bunch of Shadow Clones who had explosive tags strapped onto their backs."

The Uchiha's eye twitched, "Are you forgetting that I was dog-piled then nearly killed by them?" He added with a teeth grind.

"But you survived didn't you?" The blonde's question ended up infuriating the Sharingan wielder even more.

"I know I'm going to regret asking this," Atsushi began causing the two to focus on him and not on resuming their fight, "but just how many Suicide bombers did you unleash on our teammate?"

The Uzumaki thought about it, "A little over 10." Sasuke snorted at the answer.

"More like 20." He corrected.

Shrugging Naruto grabbed a kunai and assumed a battle stance, "Now where were we?"

"Sasuke cover me." Atsushi cried as he assumed the Goken stance. The Uchiha hmphed then took a couple of steps back.

This tactic surprised the Uzumaki as he really didn't expect Sasuke to take up a supporting role, but before he could voiced out these thoughts Atsushi was already dashing forward.

"Leaf Hurricane!" Upon arriving within a feet of the Uzumaki, the Kishida unleashed a barrage of circular kicks and jabs. With his gear on reverse Naruto began blocking each punch, kick and leg sweep sent his way until Sasuke interrupted with some thrown Shuriken aimed at his side.

Pulling off a substitution the Uzumaki appeared 6 meters away only to dodge a beam of lightning fired from Atsushi then a salvo of fireballs from his Uchiha teammate, 'How did they know where I will reappear-' Naruto halted that thought process as a Kunai was thrown his way.

"Kunai Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Atsushi called multiplying the thrown kunai into ten.

The birthday boy pulled off another substitution then leapt quickly to the left as Sasuke assaulted him with flaming Fuma Shuriken.

"Dynamic Entry!" Atsushi cried nailing his target with a solid kick to the cheek, said target immediately erupted into smoke frustrating the Ninjutsu specialized Chunin.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Just as the Kishida landed, his feet were swept off by one of the shadow clones as the other descended down with a hammer fist, "Got ya-WHAT!" Naruto cried as his Shadow Clone hammer fisted a log instead of a certain Kishida.

"Rakurai!" An unharmed Atsushi called firing a blast of lightning from his palm.

The Uzumaki had already escaped via substitution with the previously substituted log, "Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He countered back with a multitude of spinning ninja stars.

Atsushi signaled to Sauske to pull back before making a cross hand seal, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" A doppelganger appeared and the two quickly drew their Wakizashi.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

Naruto and his two Shadow Clones had looks of amazement as two Kishidans successfully blocked/ deflected all Shurikens. They were later snapped out of the state when the two together activated their Sankugan and starting making two completely different sets of hand seals.

'Wait, isn't that-' Naruto recognized one of the set.

"Water Style: Wild Water Wave/ Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" The first called forth a wave of water from a neighboring river and sent it forward while the right electrified it with a huge blast of lightning.

"Collaboration: Two Style: Raisunami!"

Naruto along with his shadow clones had their jaws literally kissing the ground at the sight, 'H-he performed a collaboration jutsu with himself!'

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Using their shock to his advantage, Sasuke sneaked behind the trio and spat out an enormous fireball.

Thinking quickly the two shadow clones grabbed the original and threw him high into the air before the two overpowered attacks collided.

BOOM!

A few minutes earlier

Hidden within some bushes a couple feet away from the fight was one Ino Yamanaka who happened to watching the heated battle with an awed expression.

"I knew Sasuke-kun and Naruto were strong but not Atsushi." She mumbled as memories of her interactions with the Kishida back at the academy resurfaced, 'Why did I have to ignore him back then.'

"Wow! Atsushi-kun is so strong!"

'Huh?!' Startled by fact that she wasn't alone Ino looked upwards in the direction of the voice and found a slightly older girl pecked upon a tree branch, 'Who is she and how did she get there?'

Feeling that she was watched, said spectator looked downwards and upon sighting the Yamanaka offered a warm smile, "Hello here."

"Erm.. Hi." Ino awkwardly returned, "Have we met before?"

"Not in person," The girl stated before hopping down from the branch, "but I'm Kin… Kin Tsuchi."

Ino gasped as recognition struck home, "Y-you're that Oto girl who lost to Shikamaru during the Preliminaries." She pointed out.

Kin frowned at that remainder, "You lost your preliminary match too."

The blond huffed, "At least it wasn't to a lazy ass."

The brunette narrowed her eyes, "At least I managed to injure him, you couldn't even scratch Sakura." She retorted causing Ino to flinch.

"Well I-"

"Now that I take a good look at you," The brunette interrupted giving the Yamanaka a look over, "You haven't been taking your Shinobi life quite seriously."

"What!" Ino cried out before stomping her way towards the older Kunoichi, "I will have you know that-"

"You're on a diet."

Stopping, the blonde blinked a couple of times, "How?"

"Your figure is leaking 'Meat' in certain areas." Kin gestured to her arms, legs and chest, "Guys like females who are more filled out in these places." She crossed her arms under her bust emphasizing the point which Ino noticed judging by her envious look, "If you want a better figure stop dieting and eat more."

"But I will gain weight."

"You won't if you train like hell."

"But then I will get all sweaty and dirty."

The Kishida ward gave her a skeptical look, "You're a Kunoichi right?"

"Obviously." Ino answered with an eye-roll.

"Then toughened up like Sakura did," Kin commented snarly causing the Yamanaka to freeze.

"Y-you know Sakura?" Ino questioned.

Kin nodded, "We're friends." The blonde screamed internally at this revelation, "Why do you ask?"

'I can't say we were once close friends, she will ask what caused us to split up,' Ino thought frantically, "We were classmates back at the academy."

"Really?" The brunette's curiosity was awaken, "Then that means you were also classmates with those three currently fighting."

Ino nodded, "Yes-"

BOOM!

The blast of an explosion nearly brought them to their feet.

Alarmed the two gazed towards the clearing and found it covered by a thick mist. 'Huh?'

|Within the Treetops|

Shizune stared wide-eyed at the mist covered clearing, "These three are far too talented for newly promoted Chunin."

"Hehe, well I'm pretty at fault for that." Areku chuckled nervously.

The medic stared at the Jonin for a while before asking, "Where will you rank them in terms of strength?"

Areku raised a brow at the question but answered anyway, "I don't know about Sasuke but in terms of Ninjutsu, Atsushi and Naruto are pretty much Jonin level."

'J-jonin!'

"I'm not an expert in Taijutsu or Bukijutsu (Weapons) but I will say Chunin Level," He then took a deep breath before continuing, "Then in Genjutsu they are both dead last."

"What! But why?"

Areku smiled weakly at her, "Atsushi can't perform Genjutsu because of our Bloodline and Naruto just has too much chakra."

"So you're all vulnerable to Genjutsu techniques?" Shizune summed up but was surprised when the Kishida grinned.

"Nope, we Kishidans are actually immune to Genjutsu while Naruto has someone who automatically dispels them for him."

'The Kyubi.' Shizune realized before continuing with her questions, "How exactly are you immune to Genjutsu?"

"What is the surest way of breaking out of a Genjutsu?"

"By disrupting one's chakra network."

The Jonin nodded, "In most shinobi their chakra remains stagnant unless called upon but in a Kishida it never stops moving and because of this constant movement-"

"You can't be trapped in a genjutsu." The medic finished up before bringing up another point, "But that still doesn't explain why you can't perform Genjutsu."

"You're right it doesn't, but just like how no one knows why Hashirama was the only Senju to have the Wood Style, we ourselves don't even know the exact reason why we can't perform Genjutsu so we just say it's a side effect of the Nisankugan." Areku concluded.

Shizune wanted to ask more question but the mist lifted up drawing their attention back to the clearing.

A bead of sweat tickled down Atsushi's left cheek as he waited for the mist to lift, the Kishida currently stood back to back with his shadow clone who was also alert. On the other side of the clearing stood Sasuke who was cautiously glancing around with his Sharingan in case Naruto attempted a sneak attack.

"Darn it, he escaped!" Atsushi's voice was heard as the mist lifted revealing tattered earth but no Uzumaki.

"Saved by Shadow Clones." Sasuke deduced before his ears picked up a sound, "Do you hear that?"

Atsushi listened carefully, "Yeah, it sounds like something is swirling really fast and coming right towards us from-" The Kishida glanced upwards and immediately blanched.

Curious Sasuke also looked up and bore witness a mass of Narutos freefalling towards them with spiraling orbs of chakra in their right hands.

"Multi Shadow Clone: Rasengan Mega Barrage!"

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! BOOM!

|With the Girls|

"Talk about overkill." A sweat dropping Ino commented with Kin nodding in agreement.

"Birthday boy isn't pulling his punches." The brunette stated.

The Yamanaka's eyes widened at the statement, "Wait! Today's his birthday?" She exclaimed.

Kin gave her a surprised look, "You didn't know?" Ino shook her head negatively, "But you guys were classmates!"

"I kind of ignored him back at the academy." She revealed while avoiding eye contact.

"Well, it isn't late to make it up to him." Kin pointed out.

The blonde instantly brightened up, "You're right," She began, rising up to her feet, "and I know the best thing to do." She turned around and headed towards the exit.

Kin watched her go before returning her attention back to the clearing. 'That girl needs a lot of help.' She absently noted.

|With the Adults|

"We should get back to training." Areku said standing up.

"Huh? But aren't you worried about your nephew?" Shizune asked in surprise.

The Kishida was already walking away, "There's no way Ari-kun would get caught by such an attack." He informed.

The medic stared at his back for a while before suddenly smiling, 'Such confidence,' She thought following after the male.

|Clearing|

THUD!

The boots of one Naruto Uzumaki made as he landed on solid earth after his Shadow clone Rasengan bombardment. Potholes and fractures littered the clearing but no sign of his adversaries.

"Hmm..." Eyes going shut Naruto began to sense for their presence and it wasn't long before he found them, 'Sasuke is on tree 8 meters away while Atsushi is… BELOW!' The Uzumaki instantly leaned his head back as said Kishida popped out from below with a rising uppercut, 'Sorry Sushi,' Naruto thought as his arm rose up for a punch, 'but-'

"Leaf Hurricane!" Whatever was remaining was cut short as Atsushi spun rapidly nailing two solid kicks on the Uzumaki's torso.

The Jinchuriki was sent sideways spitting out saliva as he slammed roughly against a tree trunk, 'Ugh! When did his kicks get so hard?' He thought holding his pained side.

Atsushi flinched as a pang of pain went down his back, 'Even while hidden with Headhunter his Shadow Clone - Rasengan attack still grazed me.' Rustling of leaves from the right informed him of Sasuke's return, "You okay?" He asked the Uchiha.

Sasuke replied with the usual 'Hn' before taking up the Kishida's side, "How much longer are we meant to distract him?" Sasuke whispered.

"An hour or so."

The Uchiha frowned, "This wouldn't be so tough if he wasn't constantly-"

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" The two found themselves surrounded by Narutos.

"Doing that." An eye twitching Sasuke finished.

Atsushi sighed in resignation before suddenly breaking into a grin, "I guess we have no choice but to go wild." His comrade smirked at this.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!/Lightning Style: Thunderbolt Flash!" Two called unleashing their respective barrage of attacks, the Clones attempted to dodge but half of them weren't lucky.

"Shuriken Shadow Clones Jutsu!" Hoping to avenge their fallen comrades, the remaining clones poured all their chakra into the shurikens multiplying them.

Sasuke's Sharingan accurately counted their numbers, "Seventy-two." He informed his teammate who was already busy weaving seals.

"Got it," Atsushi called back before slamming his hands on the ground, "Earth Style: Earth Dome!" The circular defense kicked in and sheltered the two.

Naruto frowned at this before he reached out with his sensory abilities, 'Let's see they're-Wait!' He did a double take, 'Why I'm detecting only Sasuke's chakra- WHOA!' He threw himself out of way as Atsushi popped out of the ground with a rising uppercut.

The Kishida whipped round and threw a kunai, "Kunai Shadow Clone Jutsu!" The blonde escaped via substitution, "Rakurai!" Atsushi looked to his left and fired a blast of lightning. The Jinchuriki barrel rolled to safety, stopping some meters away with his back facing the earth dome, "SASUKE NOW!"

"Chidori!"

BOOM!

'Huh?' Naruto turned round and got launched upwards by a vicious kick to jaw.

"Not done yet!" The Uchiha leapt after the suspended Uzumaki and grabbed on, "Peregrine Falcon Drop!"

BAM!

Atsushi watched as Sasuke jumped out of dust cloud before falling to a knee, "You okay?" He asked the panting raven-haired.

"Yeah." He gasped out before staring at the dust cloud, "Can't believe your plan worked."

Atsushi shrugged, "It worked because he momentarily forgot about you-"

"Ah teme! That hurts."

The two stiffened as a gust of wind blew away the dust cloud revealing a gaping hole but no Uzumaki. Their shock was further heightened when said Uzumaki hopped down from a tree branch in perfectly good condition except for the bruised jaw.

"How?" Sasuke worded out.

Naruto grinned, "Shadow Clone!"

"But they were all taken out." Atsushi pointed out, "And we didn't hear you making new ones."

"True," The blonde nodded, "But I always have at least one on standby and he substituted with me the moment Sasuke launched me midair."

Said Uchiha stared at the Jinchuriki for a bit before releasing a strange chuckle.

"You okay teme?" Naruto asked while Atsushi took a step back.

Wordlessly Sasuke rose up and began to channel chakra to his palm, Atsushi took more steps back as chirping sounds became audible.

"Sasuke?"

"Chidori!" The Uchiha intoned before sprinting forwards the Uzumaki.

"Teme! Teme! TEME!"

|Main Street, Konoha|

15:07 PM

The sextet of Naruto, Sasuke, Atsushi, Kin, Shizune and Areku walked through the now moderately populated street of Konoha, the first three bore tired but satisfied expressions after their recently concluded all-out friendly spar which was ended with no victor or vanquished.

Kin and Atsushi watched on with small smiles as the latter teammates began arguing over who was the best fighter.

"Are they always like?" The 15 year old asked as the two males got into each other's face.

"Yep." Atsushi deadpanned, "One minute they're friends then the next they turn sworn enemies."

Kin chortled, "I think they will make a great couple," The Kishida gave her a horrified look, "If one of them was a girl that is." She added immediately not wanting him to get the wrong idea.

Atsushi sighed in relief, "You're probably right." He said before taking a look at the two adults behind them then turning back with a smile.

"What's with the smile?" The brunette inquired.

"Oji-san seems to be enjoying Shizune's company." He answered.

Kin glanced back and caught the medic chuckling to a joke the Kishida Jonin had apparently made, "I think Shizune reciprocates the feeling."

"Yea," Atsushi agreed as he glanced at the older Kunoichi then back at Kin before squinting his eyes, "Now that I think about it," He began leaning in a bit closer analyzing the girl's face, "You two look strikingly alike." The Chunin pointed out.

Kin took another look at Shizune then shook her head, "It's just a coincidence." She dismissed.

Atsushi shrugged, "If you say so." Just as he finished an ANBU appeared before their group.

A few minutes ago

Done arguing with each other, the two frenemies walked on in a comfortable silence until it was broken by one calling the other's name.

"Hey Sasuke," The Uzumaki began, "is there any girl you're interested in?"

Said Uchiha glanced at his teammate, "What brought this on?"

Naruto smiled, "Take a look behind."

Raising a brow, Sasuke did as requested and noticed the Kishidan duo conversing with the raven-haired duo. "Why does it seem like I'm staring at the same couple but from different timelines?"

The blonde saw through the Uchiha's trick, "Don't try to change the subject teme."

Sasuke scowled in displeasure, "Seems like your ninja skills wasn't the only thing you worked on."

"Teme!"

"Fine," The Uchiha sighed, "I'm currently not interested in any girl."

"Currently?" Naruto drawled, "Does that mean-"

"Yes, in future."

The Uzumaki heaved a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness."

Sasuke gave him a pointed look, "Why is that?"

"A good percentage of us thought you were gay." A tick mark formed on the Uchiha's head, "Hey! No need to be angry!"

"Who brought up that theory?" Sasuke growled, "Was it Kiba?"

"Well… yes."

"He's so dead."

|At the Inuzuka's Manor|

Kiba felt a chill go down his spine, "Did the temperature just drop?" He asked those within the same room.

Hana casually flipped a page of the book she's reading, "Must be your imagination." The Chunin answered.

Arf!

"See! Even Akamaru agrees." She added, patting the ninja hound on its head.

"Hmm… I guess you guys are right." With that the Inuzuka male went back to his own business.

Before the blonde could put a stop to his teammate's murderous thoughts, an ANBU appeared before them.

"Naruto Uzumaki?"

Said fellow stepped forward, "Yes ANBU-san."

"Hokage-sama wishes to see you." He/ She informed before disappearing via Body Flicker.

As Naruto pondered why he was being called, the remaining five nodded among themselves, "I guess this is where we split up." Areku placed a hand on the Uzumaki's shoulder, "You shouldn't keep Hokage-sama waiting Naruto-kun."

Said blonde gave a small smile, "I guess you're right," He turned towards his two teammates and gave them a bigger smile, "Thanks for letting me kick your butts' guys." He said before suddenly taking off.

A tick-mark formed on the Uchiha's head, "Why you-"

"Let it go Sasuke, let it go." Atsushi mollified the Uchiha who was seconds away from pursuing the Uzumaki.

"Hmph."

"Okay everyone," Areku suddenly spoke up, "We got two hours to freshen up then about one more hour to head on to the location." The remaining four nodded in agreement, "If by some chance Hokage-sama isn't able to delay our lovable blond any further we…" He took a pause before chuckling nervously, "we will have to cross that bridge when we get there."

With sweat drops manifesting, everyone headed to their respective places of residence.

|Hokage Tower|

The two reappeared in a swirl of leaves, "Naruto Uzumaki as requested, Hokage-sama."

"Thank you Robin, you're free to go now." Said ANBU gave a slight bow before vanishing.

"So," Naruto began, "What's up?"

Hiruzen smiled, "I believe it's time you received your parents' legacy." He informed activating the privacy seals.

The blonde's eyes widened at this, "You mean…"

The Hokage stood up then walked towards the portrait of the 4th Hokage, grabbing it by the sides he took it down revealing a small safe hidden behind, "I need a bit of your blood Naruto-kun." Hiruzen requested pointing towards the Blood seal.

"Uh… Hai." Biting his thumb Naruto walked over and smeared a bit over the seal, it glowed white for a second before disappearing. Satisfied the Hokage reached out and opened the safe, revealing a cluster of papers, "What are those?"

"Verification files, marriage certificate, property possession and bank account details." Hiruzen disclosed grabbing each document, "Your parents while wealthy lived a simple life."

"So no mansions, business enterprises or estate buildings," Naruto deduced before nodding, "That's good."

"Oh?" The Sarutobi gave him a surprised look, "Why is that?"

"I'm not used to living extravagantly plus some might throw a fret once I'm seen living in an estate."

Hiruzen chuckled, "They will still throw a tantrum once this is disclosed." He presents the Uzumaki with one of the documents.

Naruto read through then questioned whether his eyes were playing tricks on him, "Hey Jiji I'm not sure if I'm seeing well but does this says I'm the rightful owner of 116,752 square kilometers of land?"

"That's the Land of Whirlpools, your mother was its previous owner and as her son it now belongs to you." The Hokage explained, "Shortly before Uzushiogakure was completely destroyed, its defense mechanisms kicked in and killed off all the invaders preventing your clan's historical artifacts and treasures from being plundered."

The blonde was surprised, "You saying that Kumo and Kiri didn't take a single thing from the village?"

The elder nodded, "Displeased and angered at the lost of many shinobi for what was later deemed a fruitless pursuit, the alliance broke down and the two villages waged war against each other."

'Serves them right.' The Uzumaki thought with Kurama nodding in agreement.

"Your mother was pressured a lot by the council to retrieve her clans' treasures but she declined knowing what their endgame was."

"They weren't too happy about that right?"

Hiruzen nodded, "Some may try to approach you with the same request."

Naruto's expression turned steel, "I will be on the lookout."

"That's all I ask." He reached out for a scroll which had Uzumaki insignia on and presented it to the Jinchuriki, "Kushina also wanted you to have this."

Naruto felt a familiar presence coming from the storage scroll, "What's inside?" He asked, grabbing onto the scroll.

"Your mother's most prized weapon – Akaishi! (Red Death)" The elder revealed as the youngster unsealed the weapon.

Drawing it from its sheath Naruto identified it as a Katana but it wasn't like any Katana he had seen before, its hilt and sheath like most Katana is colored black but the real difference was in the blade which is deep red in color.

"Wow!" The blonde muttered as he felt the blade reacting to both his and Kurama's chakra, 'It's acquainting itself with-'

Hiruzen coughed snapping the teen out of his dazzled look, "Now Akaishi's true capabilities can only be drawn out by an Uzumaki so if by any chance it somehow falls into non-Uzumaki hands," He placed his hand forward and Naruto handed over the sword, "It reverts into a normal Katana like so." He gestured to now silver-bladed sword.

Nodding in understanding Naruto took back the sword, its blade immediately regaining its usual red color, "So what now?" he asked sheathing his new Katana then sealing it back into its scroll.

"Now we head to the bank and claim your parent's belongings." The Sarutobi paused then took a sniff, "But first you should probably shower." He pointed out.

The Uzumaki blinked then smelled his arm, "Eesh… I really do stink." He realized.

"You can make use of the bathroom in the Hokage lodge." Hiruzen offered surprising the blonde, "There are also a couple of clean outfits in the closet which should fit you perfectly."

"Okay," The Jinchuriki replied while wondering what was actually going on today.

|Apartment Complex|

"So what's with the change in venue?" A seated Sasuke asked taking a look around the large room.

Hinata chuckled nervously, "We later realized that Naruto-kun's living room won't house the over 20 guests."

The Uchiha's eyes widened slightly, "I thought we were only 10."

"True," The Hyuga agreed, "But midway into the decorations Ino appeared alongside the rest," She gestured towards their ex-classmates and their Jonin-senseis who were helping out with some last minute decorations.

"That explains it." Sasuke mused.

In the background Kurenai was busy trying to prevent Anko from spiking the drinks.

"This is a birthday party not a night party!" The Genjutsu mistress explained.

"What's the difference?" The Snake user asked pushing her friend aside.

"Now now!" Kakashi intervened snatching away the sake bottle, "We can't have hangovers delaying tomorrow's journey makers."

"I have a high tolerance." Anko shot back with a pout.

The Silver haired Jonin nodded, "True, but the others don't." He informed before sealing away the sake.

As Anko grumbled, Kurenai gave the Jonin-sensei of Team 7 a grateful look, "Thank you! Kakashi."

"Don't mention it." Kakashi waved her off before reaching for the erotic book stored within his vest, "Now to find out what Ayane-chan is up to?" He flipped a page while letting out perverse giggles.

Kurenai scowled at the Jonin and that soon turned into a snarl when Anko peeked over his shoulder, 'These two.' She thought heading towards her team and away from the perverted duo.

"We got the cake." Atsushi announced as Areku wheeled in a giant birthday cake.

Choji's eyes sparkled, "CAKE!"

"Shadow Possession Jutsu!" Shikamaru quickly froze his teammate's movement.

The Kishidans gave the Nara a grateful look, "So where should it go?" Areku asked.

"Set it up at the center." A Tsunade who was fending off a clinging Tenten uttered. Shizune let out a giggle at the sight while the rest watched on in amusement.

"Hey Jiji," Naruto began as the two stepped into the apartment grounds, "Why did the Kyubi festival seem less celebrative this year."

Hiruzen stroked his beard, "Well we just fended off an invasion not too long ago and," He glanced at the youngster and broke out a smile, "Their opinion of a certain Uzumaki has changed for the better."

Naruto smiled then noticed that they weren't heading for the apartment complex, "Ehm Jiji?"

"There's something else I need to show you." The Hokage answered heading towards the back.

Shrugging the Jinchuriki followed suit and the two arrived in what seemed to be a reception hall, "Jiji?" The Uzumaki called as he felt something blocking his sensory abilities.

"It's okay." The Sarutobi assured.

Nodding the blonde went forward and grabbing the door handles, glancing back and receiving a nod he pushed the dual doors open…

"SURPRISE!"

Cried numerous voice as balloons went up, confetti shot out and whistles blown. The poor Uzumaki blinked a couple times as he spotted all his ex-classmates, the Ichiraku's, Konohamaru corps, Team 9, Iruka, Shizune, Tsunade and the all Jonin-senseis along with a couple of friend adults.

"Wha… What is this?"

Hinata came up to him with a party hat, "It's your birthday party Naruto-kun." She answered placing said hat atop his head.

The blonde's right hand reached out and touched the hat, "My birthday party?" The sentence seemed foreign to the teen.

"Indeed," Hiruzen said closing the doors behind, "The rest were setting it up while I, Sasuke and Atsushi kept you occupied."

Naruto adopted a bewildered expression, "So that spar?" He asked facing his male teammates.

"Was Hinata's idea," Sasuke took a pause then continued, "Actually this party is Hinata's doing."

"She suggested it while you were out searching for Tsunade-sama." Atsushi pointed out.

Naruto turned towards the blushing Hyuga, "Is it true?"

Hinata nodded, "I wanted it to be a- Mmph!" The rest was unsaid as Naruto moved in for a kiss.

Everyone was shocked speechless by the move especially Hinata herself. The Uzumaki soon realized what he was doing and immediately backed off, "I'm sorry Hinata-chan I don't know what- Mmph!" He was then interrupted as the Heiress brought him in for another kiss.

The audience immediately broke into cheers and catcalls while Hanabi uttered a surprised 'Nee-chan!' at her sister's bold move.

Breaking up the kiss, both blushed sheepishly as many of their friends were giving them smug looks while money traded hands among the adults.

"Happy birthday Naruto-kun." Hinata said.

"Thanks Hinata-chan." He said with a side hug before addressing the rest of crowd, "Everyone! Let's party!"
