Chapter 28: The Trip

|Southern Gate, Konoha|
"Anko is late for someone who seemed excited at the thought of removing her cursed seal." Areku sighed as he watched his charges converse with each other, "Must be great having someone your age around." He muttered turning his gaze to the commuters who were moving back and forth between the gates.
"So what's Arashigakure like?" A curious Kin inquired.
Atsushi gave a nervous smile, "I'm sorry but the last time I visited was 12 years ago."
"12 years? You haven't visited since you were 2?" The brunette calculated.
"Sorry about that." The Chunin apologized.
Kin pouted, "Fine, but you owe me a date." She said crossing her arms.
The boy blinked, "A what?"
"Hello everyone." The three turned towards the voice and were surprised at who they saw.
"Shizune?" Areku identified before staring at her backpack, "Why are you packed up?"
The medic gave a smile, "I'm accompanying you guys."
"Huh? Seriously? Really?" The three voiced.
"Yes."
"May I ask why?" The Jonin continued.
Placing a finger on her chin the older kunoichi adopted a thoughtful expression, "Well I couldn't wait a whole week to continue Lightning Manipulation so I requested a training leave and was granted."
"You can ask for a training leave?" Atsushi directed the question towards his uncle.
Atsushi nodded before resuming his conversation with the medic, "I have nothing against you coming along but is Tsunade-sama okay with this?"
"Initially she was against it but later on she relented."
"Well then welcome aboard," Areku reached into his pouch and grabbed onto a storage scroll, "Seal your supplies in here." He said tossing the scroll.
Done sealing the medic walked over to the two teens and placed a hand on each one's chest startling them a bit.
"It's a medical test," Shizune explained upon receiving their questioning looks.
Areku watched on in curiosity as her hands pulsed with green chakra before it flowed into their recipients, said recipients flinched a bit as the foreign chakra invaded their chakra coils. Some seconds later Shizune withdrew her hands and gave the two a small smile.
"It seems you two are in excellent condition." She said standing up.
"O-okay." The two answered while wondering if they showed any signs of being ill.
"What was that?" Areku quietly asked once the brunette was by his side.
"Nothing," She attempted a fake smile but the Kishida saw through it.
"Shizune," He began softly, "It's upsetting you."
The medic relented, "I was checking how much chakra they have."
"Why?"
She twiddled with her hands, "Seeing your nephew fight yesterday unnerved me a bit."
Understanding came upon the Jonin, "Oh!" He simply said.
"Also the fact that his chakra is nearly the same level as mine doesn't help." She added.
'Wait! Nearly the same! But that's impossible, she's almost twice Atsushi's age unless,' "Shizune how old were you when Tsunade made you her apprentice?" He asked.
Despite her surprise Shizune responded quickly, "Twelve."
'So she's 27, the same age as I' The Jonin mused before nodding, "Okay, under your apprenticeship did Tsunade request any combat missions for you?"
"Well," She looked away sheepishly, "No."
'Damn you Tsunade,' Areku cursed mentally, "What about the Chunin exams?" He then asked.
"Those? I attended one when I was 13 but didn't make it pass the first round of the finals."
"So how were you promoted to chunin then?"
"Oh that was two years later when my skills with medical ninjutsu exceeded Tsunade-sama's expectations."
Areku sighed, "When we have settled down I will arrange some one-on-one duels with special Jonins your age."
Shizune waved both of her hands, "You don't have to go to such lengths." She attempted, not wanting the Kishida to think of her as a burden.
"True," Areku agreed, "But you definitely need some fighting experience." He affirmed.
The medic relented, "If you say so." She mumbled.
"I see you guys haven't left yet." A familiar voice stated as a couple of persons arrived.
Areku instantly recognized said voice, "Ah Kakashi, I expected you to be late."
The mask wearer gave an eye smile, "Well I'm turning over a new leaf."
The Kishida gave him a bland look, "Or maybe it's because Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke dragged you out of bed." He deadpanned, causing Shizune and the rest to break out in laughter as it was most likely the truth.
"Mah mah," Kakashi casually said taking up the Kishida's left side while his Chunin team swarmed their teammate and Kin, "I'm surprised Anko isn't here yet." He commented.
"Yeah, it's- oh there is she." Areku gestured.
Everyone looked in the particular direction and spotted the snake mistress but something didn't feel quite right.
"Is it just me or is crazy snake lady skipping like a school girl?"A fearful Naruto asked.
"Is not just you Naruto-kun." An equally afraid Hinata answered with Sasuke taking a step back.
"Hey guys, great morning we're having."A cheerful Anko greeted and that simple greeting scared everyone even more because the last time Anko was cheerful…
Without thinking Shizune and Kakashi pushed Areku forward, the Kishida stopping his near tumble glared at the two before giving Anko a nervous smile, "H-hello Anko, you're in high spirits today."
Said lady smiled back, "Of course I'm, Hokage-sama and Jiraiya-hentai are assigning me a very important role on my return."
This revelation caught everyone present by surprise.
"Do you think she finally got Head interrogator?" Shizune whispered to Kakashi.
The male shook his head negatively, "Last time I checked Ibiki is still alive and in good health."
"But enough of that," Anko suddenly said marching towards the gate, "I have a curse mark to be rid off."
Realizing that she won't be waiting, goodbyes were immediately exchanged.
"Safe travels."
"Take lots of pictures."
"Watch out for bandits."
"Bring back a Jutsu scroll or two."
Once the five were out of sight, Sasuke turned towards his remaining male teammate, "A Jutus scroll?"
"Their village is practically overflowing with them." Naruto answered with a star-eyed look.
Hinata giggled while Kakashi watched them interact with a smile on his face until he noticed several ANBU agents escorting a beautiful woman into the village.
He watched them pass by and could have sworn that the woman was looking at him the whole time she was walking.
"Who is that? An important visitor?" Hinata asked also noticing the female, "She's really beautiful." She then added.
"True, but I've seen better." Naruto said staring at Hinata. The Hyuyga went red-faced at the compliment.
Sasuke and Kakashi both rolled their eyes at the two. Ever since the Uzumaki's birthday party he had began to view Hinata as the best the Hidden Leaf has to offer.
Sasuke's gaze went to his sensei who still staring after the woman, "Kakashi you're looking in that direction rather intensely. You interested in that woman?" The Uchiha asked with his trademark smirk. Hinata and Naruto tuned in to the conversation as it could be the perfect opportunity to tease their sensei.
Kakashi shook his head, "No, it's just I think I've met her before but can't quite remember."
The three Chunin went silent until Hinata spoke up, "Then maybe you should talk to her and see if anything happens." The boys nodded their agreement with her suggestion.
Their sensei thought about it, "I will see what I can do." He finally said before vanishing in a body flicker.
The three stared at spot their sensei was before Naruto suddenly sighed, "He isn't going to talk to her right?"
Hinata and Sasuke nodded their reply.

20 Minutes Later
(With the Traveling Five)
"Anko," Areku began, "Why are you leading the way?" He calmly asked.
Said female turned around, "Because I want to."
The Jonin nodded, "Then I guess you won't have any problems taking the CORRECT path to Arashigakure right?"
Anko paused then laughed nervously, "On second thought why don't you take the lead."
Areku smiled, "Gladly," He said before turning round and heading back with the other three following suit.
"Oi! Why the U-turn?" The scantily clothed female yelled.
Without turning back Areku answered, "Because three minutes ago you took a left turn instead of a right." The remaining three snickered at the Snake mistress's expression.
Embarrassed Anko quietly caught up.

3 hours later
|Interrogation & Torture Facility, Konoha|
Kakashi arrived in the requested Interrogation room and was instantly met by Inoichi.
"Sorry for the disturbance Kakashi," The blond male began, "But a woman that we captured earlier today has no memories of her past except for a vivid memory of you carrying her on your back talking about clouds." Said Jonin's sole eye widened as the particular memory came to mind.
"Is her name Hanare by any chance?"
The Yamanaka clan head was surprised, "You know her?"
"A bit."
"Okay then," The blonde continued, "We need you to spend time with her and assess her with your Sharingan."
"Okay, I'll do what I can." Sharingan wielder said nonchalantly.
Inoichi nodded and called for Hanare to be brought into the room. Kakashi felt his face grow hot as she was even more stunning up close. He discreetly pulled his mask up a little higher to hide the pink tint on his cheeks when Hanare's expression brightened at the sight of him.
"We'll leave her in your care Kakashi. Show her around the leaf or something." Inoichi said before leaving the room along the ANBU that were guarding Hanare.
Kakashi looked at the female, who looked back at him and smiled.
"Ready to go?" He asked lamely rubbing his hand behind his head.
Hanare simply smiled then responded, "Lead the way."

Same time
|Road to Arashigakure, Southern Fire Country|
"Wait a minute," Kin reread the passage before staring at Atsushi, "Your village fought Sunagakure and won?"
"Actually Suna lost because they were fighting on three fronts." Atsushi explained.
Kin blinked, "Three fronts? Were they mad?"
"No, they were greedy." The Chunin corrected, "Sunagakure started the 2nd Shinobi War by invading River country then the Western part of Fire Country in just two days."
"Two days?"
"They took advantage of the fact that most of Konoha's forces were in Mountain Country dealing with Kagero village for violating a peace pact. Another reason for the rapid take over was the presence of the one-tail Jinchuriki who was spearheading the invasion."
"So what happened next? Did Konoha send out their own Jinchuriki?"
Atsushi chuckled, "Well no, the Sand encountered a small resistance lead by Sakumo Hatake at the Fire Temple. Sakumo's men was outnumbered 1 to 4-"
"Wait, 1 to 4?" Anko asked earning surprised looks from everyone, "What!"
"I understand Kin not knowing but you Anko?" Shizune said.
"Yeah, weren't you taught this in History classes back at the Academy?" Areku added.
The Snake user shrugged, "Never was interested in History."
"Okay," Atsushi continued, "Despite the overwhelming odds Sakumo using his White chakra blade and the Five element seal managed to pull off a victory against the one-tail Jinchuriki, with their trump card defeated Suna withdrew back into River Country to reorganize. This retreat gave Konoha enough time to call back their main force from Mountain country but this ended up dragging Iwagakure into the conflict."
'Wow, he's very accurate.' Shizune thought.
'I knew those home lessons paid off.' Areku smiled at the attention his nephew was holding.
"Iwa?" Kin asked with a head tilt, "How was the Rock village dragged into this?"
"Once the news of the invasion reached the forces in Mountain country, they hurried back home cutting right through Earth Country instead of going round like they normally would. Iwa took this as a declaration of war and mobilized their forces with the intention of getting some payback. As this was going on, the Hidden Sand's war council decided to give up on their original plan which is invading Fire Country and came up with a new one. Their military was split into two battalions and given new commands, one was tasked with the invasion of Rain Country while the other with Elemental Country." The Chunin stopped to take a breath.
"I will take over Ari-kun." The senior Kishida said.
"Hai Oji-chan."
"Now the 3rd Hokage got wind of this strategy and offered Arashigakure some help, but the 2nd Yosokage turned it down saying that Tanigakure – The Hidden Village Of River Country would appreciate the help more. The battalion tasked with invading Elemental Country had barely crossed the Hanguri gulf when their ships came under massive fire from Arashi's-"
"Sorry to disrupt the history lesson," Anko interrupted, "But there's an old man lying in the middle of the path and he looks pretty banged up."
Instincts kicking in Shizune immediately went on head and placed green glowing hands on the elder, "Bruised lips, broken nose and a dislocated shoulder," She mentioned informing them of his injuries.
Areku sighed already knowing what happened to the poor fellow, "Looks like he was robbed by bandits."
The medic nodded, "Seems so."
Anko grinned, "How about we take a break and go bandit-hunting." Her grin grew as Atsushi and Kin nodded in agreement.
Looking at Shizune Areku found that she too wanted in, "I guess we're going bandit-hunting." He announced inducing the three youngest to cheer, "But first let's drop the patient in a nearby village." The three whined as the Kishida pulled out his map.
"Mmm… There is a small farming village a few minutes away, we can stop there and question the village head about these bandits." He rolled back the map and unsealed a stretcher.
Shizune bore a shocked look, "How did you-"
"I make it a habit of always being prepared." The Jonin replied before calling over his nephew, "Atsushi, I need you help transporting him."
"Hai."

|Konoha Marketplace|
While Hanare was engrossed with some jewelry on display, Kakashi took a cautious look around, 'No sign of either my students or the other Jonins,' the 28 year old heaved a sigh of relief, 'So far so good.'
"Is everything okay Kakashi?" Hanare asked in concern, "You seem kind of tensed." She pointed out.
Smiling in an effort to ease her worries the Jonin answered, "I was just checking out the other commodities."
The brunette tilted her head, "But aren't they far away?"
Kakashi eye-smiled, "I have great eye sight."
This earned him a chuckle, "With just one eye?" She playfully asked.
"Yep."
Smiling she reached out and hugged his right arm, "Okay Mr. Magnifier, where to next?"
Thoughts of marshmallow softness were switched for noteworthy locations, "The Hokage Monument." He replied.
"But Kakashi-kun, is that too far away-" Before Hanare could finish, the Jonin was already carrying her bridal style.
"Not if I use the shunshin." Kakashi said with a hidden smile before they both vanished in a twirl of leaves.

|Training Grounds 10|
"Okay Team, take five." The entirety of Team 10 collapsed on their backs heaving sighs of relief before staring at the clear blue sky. Grabbing a cigar from his pocket Asuma chuckled lightly before indulging himself.
'Attending the Chunin exams really changed them,' The Sarutobi thought as his gaze drifted from the trees to his blonde student, 'Especially you Ino.' He added before letting out a puff, 'I'm glad none of you were killed.'
Asuma unlike the rest of Jonins didn't nominate his team for the exams hoping they will get promoted, no he nominated them so that they will experience firsthand how ill prepared they were compared to their mates and it worked perfectly…
Okay not perfectly… Shikamaru did get promoted after all but it still worked out as Ino and Choji had began taking their training seriously especially Ino. No more whining on how muscles will make her manly or how sweaty she will get if she ran stamina drills, Choji had surprisingly stopped eating during training sessions - a miracle Asuma thought to be impossible.
Shikamaru now officially second in command of the team actually motivated his teammates during training sessions further proving to the Jonin-sensei that his decision concerning the exams was actually a good one.
'The downside is that they want to begin Elemental Manipulation as soon as possible,' Asuma sighed recalling how Team 7's use of Elemental Manipulation in the both the preliminaries and finals sparked interest in the other squads. Kurenai and Gai had questioned Kakashi about it during their bi-weekly Jonin meetings until the Silver-haired revealed that Areku was the one who actually exposed Team 7 to the concept.
Any attempt to bring the Kishida to attend the meetings failed as Areku became extremely busy and scarce after the invasion.
'At least they calmed down after finding out what their affinities are.' He took another puff before checking the time, "Ok team break's over.'
Their groans were music to his ears.

An Hour Later
|Southern Fire Country|
Snapping his spyglass shut Areku hopped down and engaged the newly dubbed team 'Viper'.
"Well there appears to be 50 – 70 bandits present, each one wielding a crude weapon of some sort-"
"Weaklings," Anko muttered before asking, "The boss?"
"Stays in a giant black tent at the middle of the camp, the stolen goods were seen being kept stored in a similar tent but colored white." The Jonin disclosed.
The Snake user grinned, "I call dibs on the boss, you guys can handle the small fry right?" The remaining three nodded not wanting to get in the way of her fun.
"Knock yourself out, just don't damage the storage tent by accident," The Kishida grabbed onto the female's arm just before she could take off, "And one more thing."
"What's that?" Anko asked impatiently.
"Stealthily make your way over to the tent without alerting any of the bandits." Areku said before releasing her arm, "Now battle plans," He gazed towards the remaining females, "The two of you will engage the bandits while Atsushi and I will be your backup."
'Huh?' The remaining three thought before Kin spoke up, "Shouldn't it be the other way round?" She asked.
"Round?"
"What I'm trying to say is," She glanced at Shizune who encouraged her with a nod, "that the two of you are the most formidable out of anyone here."
Both Kishida were taken back by the compliment, coughing to regain his neutral look Areku explained his reason, "The thing is that you girls need battle experience and this is the perfect opportunity."
Realization donned on them, "Oh!"
"But you two against a brunch of bandits aren't that much of a challenge, right Ari-chan?"
"You're right Oji-chan." Atsushi agreed.
Shizune and Kin didn't like where this was going.
"So," Areku turned towards them, "I'm going to place a restriction." He said with a smile.
Gulps were heard, "What kind of restriction?" Shizune inquired.
"You two will be limited to three techniques each which can only be used four times per technique, after the fourth use its out." He told a pause then added, "The Substitution is an exception to this rule so it won't be counted." The females sighed in relief, "Use of weapons, explosive tags and paper bombs is allowed."
Upon hearing the last bit Kin was instantly upon Atsushi, the elders watched as the two conserved in hushed tones before the latter reached into his weapon pouch and threw her a storage scroll. The two continued watching until Kin unsealed…
"Is that an umbrella?" Shizune asked skeptically.
The ex-Oto Shinobi nodded, "It comes with an inbuilt senbon launcher." Kin said walking over to the medic and handing her the contraption.
"Interesting." The elder Kunoichi said on closer inspection.
Now with a closer view Areku recognized the weapon, "This is a mechanical umbrella from Amegakure." He stated before facing the only chunin present, "Where did she get this from?" He asked.
"A couple of days ago we both ventured into the Forest of Death in search of anything useful." Atsushi pointed at the umbrella which Shizune was still analyzing, "That was actually the best find." He answered.
"The range of fire and ammo capacity is superior to mine." Shizune said, handing the weapon back to its owner, "But mine outmatches it in terms of reduced reload time and pinpoint accuracy."
"Still it's an ideal weapon for one who utilizes senbon needles." Kin beamed at the Areku's compliment.
"Well that's true." The medic relented.
"Anyway," The older Kishida started, gazing at the two brunettes, "please list out your selected Jutsu so we can get moving before Anko defeats the boss and decides to around play more." The two began listing their choices.

|Within the Camp|
'Childs play,' A certain scanty clad female thought as she snuck towards the tent, 'These guys aren't really worthy my time,' She sighed sadly, 'Hope their boss is different.' She pulled aside the tent flip and stepped in.
"About time you showed up." A shadowed figure said rising from his make-shift throne, "I've been expecting you."
Anko raised a brow, "You knew I was coming?" She questioned while giving him a look over, 'Hmm… 6 ft tall, dark hair, tanned skin, bulging muscles and a strikethrough Iwa headband.'
The male snorted, "Your presence is quite different from the fools around here." He narrowed his eyes in contempt, "Leaf whore."
The interrogator rolled her eyes at the insult, "Like I haven't heard that before." She yawned before adopting a battle stance, "Anko Mitarashi, Special Jonin of Konohagakure and Self-proclaimed Snake Mistress." She introduced as a pair of Kunai found themselves in her hands.
"Gin the Skull Smasher, Jonin and nuke-nin of Iwagakure." Gin introduced taking a swing of his giant mallet, "Prepare to die Leaf bitch!" He charged with a roar.
"As if!" Anko shot back meeting his charge head-on.
The two once in close proximity leapt into the air oblivious to the sound of an explosion occurring in the background.

2 Minutes Earlier
"Are you ready for this?" Shizune asked as they approached the entrance.
"Hai."
The older glanced at the youngster, "Have you taken a life before?" She asked in a quiet voice.
Kin nodded, "It wasn't pleasant." She whispered.
The medic smiled a bit as her right hand went into her left sleeve, "At least you know the feeling," She retrieved a kunai which had an explosive tag strapped on and threw it into the entrance, "Prepare yourself!"
"Hai."
A single hand seal began the madness, "Katsu!"
BOOM!
"Ahhhh!"
"What da hell?!"
"Intruders!"
"There they are!"
Within seconds the two found themselves surrounded by bandits.
"Ooooo."
"A pair of pretty lassies"
"and civilian too." The two smiled inwardly as some of the bandits pulled down their weapons, the absence of headbands causing the men to let down their guards.
Unfortunately the next words that came turned those mental smiles upside down.
"Looks like we'll be having fun tonight," A particular one said with a leer, "I call dips on the little one, pretty sure she's a screamer-"
"Rakurai!" Kin interrupted, nailing the bandit in between the legs causing him to cry out in agonizing pain.
The rest froze up in shock, a shock which Shizune utilized effectively, "Ninja Art: Poison Fog!" A good number of them got engulfed in the toxic cloud.
"Ugh! It burns!"
"Can't breathe."
"Take this." The medic ordered palming her partner with a pill, "It's an antidote for the poison." That said, Shizune activated her chakra scalpels and dashed into the fog which was soon filled with sounds of slashing and cries of pain.
Wasting no time Kin ingested the pill and joined in.

(With the Kishida duo)
"… pretty sure you didn't have that in mind when teaching Kin your version of the Rakurai." Areku said to his nephew, the two were perched on tree branch watching over the entire fight.
"Kin has a strong dislike for open perverts."
"So we're safe then?"
"Yeah," Atsushi answered before the cries of pain ceased, "Something is happened."
Areku turned his attention back to the cloud just in time for two shadows to dash out in opposing directions, "Looks like we're splitting up too."
"I got Kin." The younger announced sprinting after said person.
The elder chuckled, "Of course you do." He said before going after Shizune.

|Main Street, Konoha|
'There's a philosophy behind every blade eh?' Naruto thought recalling the word of Hayate his new appointed Kenjutsu instructor, 'Wonder what that means.' He added, patting Akaishi which is strapped to his left hip, 'Maybe Areku would know but he isn't around-'
"Hey it's Naruto-kun!"
"He's so cute!"
"I bet those whiskers are real!"
"I'm going to find out!"
"No I am!"
The Uzumaki immediately stiffened as he felt several footsteps approaching, 'Not this again.' He began to pick up pace, 'Why are they are so interested in me anyway?'
"Well you did save the village." His tenant supplied.
'True, but that can't be the only reason why a third of the girls my age suddenly take an interest in me?'
"Hmm… I think you aura has something to do with that." Kurama said.
'Aura?'
"Yes, your aura when compared to the Uchiha is far more warm and inviting. Your change in appearance especially clothing increased your appeal."
Naruto frowned, 'If that were true, I should have gained this attention before the exams because that when these changes occurred.'
"Ah but you seem to be forgetting something."
'What thing?'
"The one thing most girls find appealing in a handsome male."
Naruto blinked, 'Huh?'
"Come on its easy."
'Well… wealth?'
The giant fox shook his head, "If that was it, then would you currently be stalked by 20 girls?"
'No- wait! Did you say 20?'
"Please stay focused."
'Okay,' The demon carrier thought about it for a while, 'Strength?' He answered unsurely.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The noise went off in the Uzumaki's head surprising him, "Yes, the reason why no girl paid attention to you back at the academy was because of your hideous jumpsuit and your overwhelming lack of strength."
"I thought that was because their parents told them not to."
"True but that would have given you a bad boy image and if I remember correctly certain females are attracted by that image but said image didn't manifest because of the flaws that I mentioned."
The Jinchuriki couldn't believe how much sense it made, 'And here I was thinking that the reason Sasuke had girls after him because of his cold attitude and wealth.' He laughed at his own foolishness, 'I can't believe my appeal was tarnished by the jumpsuit.'
"If it's any conciliation," The Biju began in a mild tone, "The vixen was attracted to you despite the glaring flaws."
That brought a smile to Naruto's face, "She really is an angel." He said dreamily, unfortunately certain members of his fanclub heard the statement and erupted into shrieks.
"Did you hear that?"
"Yes, he called me an angel!"
"No way, it was clearly aimed at me!"
"No, it was definitely me!"
The Uzumaki adopted a horrified look, 'Did I say that aloud?'
"Nice going partner," The sarcasm wasn't missed, "Now they're encouraged."
'I better scram!' With that thought Naruto quickly vanished.
"Hey! Where did Whisker-kun go?"

27 minutes later
|Bandit Camp, Southern Fire Country|
"Ugh!" A bandit voiced as he was body-slammed against a pole, the attacker who happened to be Kin ducked down avoiding a sword slice and rotated quickly sweeping the assaulter off his feet before bashing him across the face knocking him out.
"It even functions as a club." The brunette mused taking a look at her umbrella.
"Die!"
She looked up and spotted three men charging her all at once, "Ninja Art: Senbon Shower!" The bandits went down with senbon sticking out of their bodies like porcupines, "That's the second use." She gazed around at the surrounding bodies, some dead while some not, "19," Kin counted before working some maths, "That added with the ones at the entrance makes 31." Her ears picked up a noise and she immediately leapt into the air as her previous position was pierced with kunai.
"Hmm… you're good." Landing elsewhere Kin stared at figure donned in a grey top with matching pants.
"Who are you?" She asked pointing her umbrella at the new adversary.
The white-haired grinned, "I'm Yu, Special Jonin and nuke-nin of Kirigakure." The 18 year old took a mock bow, "Nice to meet you."
The girl's bore a surprised look, 'S-special Jonin?' She took a calming breath much to her opponent's amusement, 'Can I beat him?'
"What's your name or do I call you sweetheart?" Yu jumped to the right avoiding a paper bomb, "Wow, that's hot!" He commented the explosion.
Kin gritted her teeth, "Don't call me that!"
"Then tell me your name sweetheart."
The brunette frowned but answered anyway, "Kin Tsuchi, Genin and nuke-nin of Otogakure."
"Oto, Otogakure," Yu repeated, "Isn't that the village who teamed up with Suna to attack Konoha a few weeks ago?"
"It is."
"No wonder you left." The white-haired said with a laugh, "Stats say they lost 70% of their forces in that gamble, their leader must be incredibly stupid to have done that."
Kin briefly pondered telling him that he had just insulted Orochimaru, an S-rank criminal who performs inhuman experiments but decided against it.

'A special Jonin and nuke-nin from Kiri,' The Chunin frowned as he thought of what to do, 'Oji-chan did say to interfere in case of emergencies and this definitely counts as one.' He took a step forward then shook his head, 'No, Kin needs this experience so I will step in when she's overwhelmed.' The Kishida took a step back and continued watching the two.

'I wonder how Kin is doing.' Shizune thought, drawing her chakra scalpel from a bandit's chest, said bandit was graphically listing all the things he and the rest would do to her if she was caught so the medic have no regrets ending his life.
"So you're the one making all this ruckus."
The kunoichi whipped round chakra scalpels blazing, "Show yourself!"
"Very well." Said person walked out of shadow revealing a 30 something year old with brown hair, desert like clothing and a large package on his back.
"You're a nuke-nin from Suna." Shizune pointed out after taking a look at his headband.
"Hai, I fled after the invasion was lost." His eyes roamed the medic looking for something, "May I know the name and village of my foe?" He settled for asking.
'So he was looking for my headband,' Shizune thought before answering, "Shizune Kato, Special Jonin of Konohagakure."
The male's eyes narrowed, "Ren of the arachnid, Jonin and nuke-nin of Sunagakure." He reached for the package on his back and placed it in front of him, "Since you're from Konoha I have no choice." Ren took some steps back then made a hand seal, "Rise!"
