"Miss Collins I think you wrote the wrong state. It's suppose to say Miami, Florida." One of the three Jennifers in the class says.
"I agree with her." The second one adds.
"So do I." The third one chimes in.
"Girls what gave you the idea this vacation would be in Florida?" Miss Collins asks confused.
"In the last week of October you told all of us the winter break class trip would be at a luxurious resort in November." The first Jennifer explains.
"You do know Florida isn't the only state with resorts right?" Camille says, puzzled the three same named girls believe that.
"Miami has the best and there's beautiful beaches." The second Jennifer says rolling her eyes.
"Yeah look at a map." The third Jennifer snobbishly suggests.
Camille, irritated by their arrogant demeanor, asserts that she is not the person who lacks geographical knowledge.
"Ok, calm down girls. This trip is a special reward for all of you in the class. So please behave yourselves." Miss Collins says as she passes out the itinerary.
Later that day when school ends, Camille makes her way to Palm Woods Park. Logan follows her concerned.
"Wait up Cami!" He says getting closer.
"What is it?" Camille asks and sits down on bench.
"You ok from earlier?" Logan says, sitting next to her.
"You mean that spat I had with the Jennifers? Yeah I'm fine." Camille says, obviously not feeling how she claims to be.
"You know how they can be. They annoy everyone." Logan says.
"I know that's the problem. They're so entitled and spoiled and make me want to strangle them!" Camille says.
"Relax Cami, you're scaring me." Logan says half-jokingly.
"Sorry. I try not to let them bother me but it's really hard." Camille says, feeling ashamed.
"It's ok Cami. It takes all my mental energy to restrain myself from strangling James sometimes." Logan admits.
"What about Kendall and Carlos?" Camille asks.
"Don't they get on your nerves too?"
"Yes daily." Logan answers.
"Each of them is different in ways of stressing me out. I don't get super mad at Carlos very often because he's so sweet and sensitive. Kendall is calm and understanding but still has flaws. James just says whatever pops in his brain even if it isn't nice." Logan explains.
"Makes sense to me." Camille says.
The arrival of the weekend has brought about a flurry of activity as everyone diligently prepares for the upcoming field trip. Within the confines of Apartment 2J, the boys and Katie are meticulously gathering the necessary items for their journey.
Logan, with an air of utmost organization, diligently checks off each item on his list. Books? Check. Medicine? Check. Neck pillow? Check. Headphones, blanket, and phone charger? Check, check, and check. Holding a piece of paper with the items neatly listed, he ensures that nothing is overlooked.
Curiosity piqued, Kendall inquires about Logan's purposeful actions. Logan, ever the considerate friend, offers to create a checklist for Kendall as well. However, Kendall politely declines the offer, expressing confidence in his own preparedness.
Eager to engage in conversation, Logan then turns his attention to Kendall's packing progress. Kendall, a passionate enthusiast of the sport of hockey, reveals his selection of hockey magazines, hockey shirts, and his trusty hockey gear.
Logan and Kendall were discussing their upcoming trip to Colorado. Kendall reassured Logan that he was prepared for the change in environment and mentioned the possibility of there not being an ice rink. Logan then decided to check on Katie, his younger sister, to see if she needed any assistance with packing. He entered her room and asked if she needed help, to which she replied that she was good, except for figuring out where to place her beloved stuffed toy, Giggles. Katie expressed her attachment to Giggles, explaining that bringing him along would provide a sense of comfort and security. She questioned whether this made her childish, but Logan quickly assured her that it did not. In fact, he kneeled down to her level and emphasized that there was no shame in bringing Giggles along on the trip. He even mentioned that he believed Tyler, their friend, would be bringing his own stuffed toy, Freddy. This reassurance made Katie feel much better, prompting her to hug Logan in gratitude. Logan returned the affection and continued to offer his support, suggesting that Katie could pack Giggles in her suitcase. However, Katie worried that he might suffocate inside. Logan chuckled at her adorable imagination and proposed the idea of placing Giggles in her backpack instead. Katie agreed, realizing that it was a genius solution. She thanked Logan once again for his assistance, and he expressed his happiness in helping her.
