"What did she say about me?" Carlos inquires, intrigued.
"I'm going to say it in her voice. 'Carlos is the most adorable boy I've ever seen,' says the high-pitched voice. He's just a ball of delight and excitement.'
Jesse explains.
"Awesome," Carlos says.
"Kendall she said you're the best hockey player she's ever seen." And she told me to tell you people about it, which I'm not sure you can do, but I promised her I'd ask. Could you maybe perform an Australian tour and bring her on stage to sing her a happy birthday? That would just boggle her mind." Jesse explains.
"Well, we like to make our fans happy, and we don't want your promise to go unfulfilled." Sure, we'll do everything in our power to accomplish her wish." Kendall explains.
"Wow, thank you very much. "I appreciate it very much." Jesse states.
"Where do you want to sit Jesse?" Katie inquires.
"Anywhere you want." Jesse states.
"Wait, wait, wait, you two are sitting together? "Are you okay with this, Kendall?" According to James.
"Relax, James; everything is OK. They'll be just fine." Kendall explains.
"Am I unintentionally stirring up trouble? I genuinely don't want any issues," Jesse frets, his concern showing in his eyes.
"Jesse, you're not causing any trouble at all. James is simply being a tad overprotective, but he'll dial it down to manageable levels. Right, James?" Katie asserts, throwing James a warning glance.
"Absolutely. My apologies, dude. It's just reflexive behavior," James apologizes sincerely.
"I can relate, really. I have an older sister called Jamie who's always anxious about my well-being. I understand exactly what the two of you are experiencing. She actually works at the magnificent San Diego Zoo," Jesse shares.
"That's incredible," James says, his eyes filled with admiration.
They all gather around a lengthy and spacious table, placing their orders. Most opt for indulgent pizzas or juicy burgers, although a few vegetarians opt for a healthier substitute.
