Okay, so we already at six… If you're reading this, I don't feel so good… I would like to announce that I'm quitting this story permanently. It's getting kind of boring.. (pan smacking sound)

Me: What are you doing? Did you just say that I was... (Grabs Ace Card) Don't let me get there... I'll be back after this chase

The somewhat calm voice of Asura echoed through the office with its owner still standing, arms crossed right in front of the desk. He was still expecting an answer concerning Ozpin's past lives and immortality. Even in this new world he had found himself, there could be a slight chance of more immortal beings existing: unlikely but not impossible since the man in front of him had clearly been embraced by death more than once.

The moment Asura had asked his oddly specific question, Ozpin instantly tightened his grip on his cane and rose from his chair, a visible expression of shock and mild anger on his face. The only people who knew about his secret would have to be among his Inner Circle but here comes a stranger from the sky, who just happened to figure it out within only one meeting. His assistant, noticing his sudden state of panic instantly raised her crop and assumed her stance; ready to attack the stranger if the need arose until Ozpin spoke up

"Stand down, Glynda"

These words, in addition to the grim look Ozpin wore was enough to convince her to do as he said. Ozpin turned his attention back to Asura, his form not wavering even a bit.

"How do you know of this?" He asked in a deep, low voice, now speaking in the same tongue as Asura. He had begun to mentally panic now that Asura suddenly knew of his secret. It was highly unlikely that he would have received the information from any of his other associates so how did he know of Ozpin's immortality? While he was still deep in his train of thought, Asura's voice sounded out again in response

"Hmmph!" Asura scoffed "Your soul tells the story". Ozpin's soul showed several signs of over exhaustion and if that was not enough, the signs of multiple deaths gave away Ozpin's secret. The normal eyes could not see these signs of course, but to Asura, who had seen the results of reincarnation as well as gone through the process himself, it was extremely easy to spot them.

"How many others know of this" Ozpin asked, paranoid that someone else might have heard of this or figured it out as well. His fear was dispelled when Asura answered, stating that he had just figured it out and hence, has not told anyone about this. Asura was not bent on starting a wave of confusion about Ozpin among the strange people so he made a personal choice to keep his secret to himself.

"None. And I plan to keep it that way... unless otherwise" Asura answered in a low voice, crossing his arms as he glared at the now established immortal. Such a secret could not be kept forever and if figured early enough, could be narrated as a legend in the future. "All I demand is an explanation of the reason behind your it", He added

At first, Ozpin felt relieved knowing that Asura would not release his secret to anyone else but his relief was short-lived when he realised that in order to explain his immortality, he would have to tell the demigod about his enemy and rival, Salem. Considering that the tower of a man in front of him was extremely powerful as well as knew his well-guarded secret, he decided that it would be the best thing to do. "It is my curse for failing to stop her...

"Her?" Asura questioned

"The creatures of darkness you fought", He started his narration while raising his head to view his questioner "They are the frontal threat, but there is a larger, yet less evident danger, one that controls them, their queen... Salem"

This piqued Asura's curiosity to the point that he had to ask, "This queen of darkness, Salem, I take it she is immortal too?"

"Correct. Just like me, she can not die. She is immensely powerful, and her plan is to turn humanity on itself so that she may rule or destroy the race"

"And she does so with the help of her dark creatures" Asura added, nodding in understanding to what Ozpin was telling him.

"Yes. That is true" was Ozpin's response. Asura instantly began to go through his thoughts. Having to fight yet another being that threatens humanity and is also immortal must definitely be a part of his curse but nonetheless, Salem had to be defeated for peace to reign. But How?

"If she can not be destroyed, then how do you plan to stop her?" Asura questioned. Surely beating her down could easily be done but she would still come back after it. This time though, unlike his not so good luck would normally have it, the response he received was relieving in a way

Ozpin took a quick upward glance before responding "There is one known way to defeat her: The Silver Eyes" Silver eyes. Where had Asura seen them before, he thought until realisation hit him.. The little girl, Ruby Rose if his memory served him right, had a pair of silver eyes.

"What are special about the eyes?" Asura asked, demanding that Ozpin told him more about Ruby's eyes. "They have a special power hidden deep within them, one that can nullify Salem's invincibility. They are the last hope".

"The little girl's eyes are the key to her defeat. Why not use them now?" This was the only question that Asura had for Ozpin. If the eyes were what would beat Salem, then the best choice of actions would be to groom her to be able to use the power and use it to end their suffering.

Ozpin rose from his chair and took a few steps towards the window in his office. He then glared outside at Beacon before he spoke, "The power is unlocked on its own, not groomed. Moreover, she is not ready to fight Salem. She lacks proper combat training". Asura quickly glanced then stared at Ozpin who was still looking through the window. His sudden movement alerted Glynda, who stood still next to Ozpin, but she held herself back once she remembered Ozpin's command.

"I understand." Asura said before turning towards the exit. He had begun to take slow steps towards the door. "You prepare her, so that she may end this plague and fix your mistake" He concluded before proceeding to finally make his exit but was halted by the voice of Ozpin. "One more thing, Asura" Ozpin said. Asura did not bother turning back to face Ozpin but he asked "What might it be?".

"I couldn't help but think that we might need some help preparing her as well as protecting her and her fellow students from the threats that lie beyond..." Ozpin would continue but Asura had already predicted what was about to be asked before waving Ozpin off and answering the unasked question. "I do not have much to teach them of these dangers but I will try to protect them from harm." He had aided the people of Gaea before and if the people of this new world require his help, he might as well give it to them. Besides, the girl who would end their danger reminded him of his own daughter back home, he couldn't resist helping her and her oddly named friends.

"Thank you." Ozpin's face had regained its smile which in a way, eased Glynda. Asura finally took his leave, walking through the door and into the elevator where he would descend from the tower.

"What did he say?" Glynda asked, curious to know what Asura said during the conversation

"He agreed to help us." Ozpin went back to take his seat "He can be quite the valuable asset" He added.

Glynda let out an audible sigh before saying "Let's hope we can trust him."

'He may be immortal but he is definitely on the good side' Ozpin might not be the most open of people, but he was trying to protect the people. Asura's thoughts were interrupted when a little ding showed he had completed his descent. What he met on the other side of the door though, was not what he expected. He had expected an empty hall since it was getting late but ran into eight students outside, precisely the eight he met during his brawl with Akuma.

"Asura!" Ruby gleefully yelled throwing her right hand upwards. Beside her was her sister and her friends. Asura couldn't help but mentally smile at the warming sight. It would have been perfect if not for the whole looming threat thing but nothing ever is except it was made to be.

"Calm down, you dolt." Weiss scolded Ruby for screaming which caused her to whimper "Yeah.. It's kind of late and we got classes tomorrow" Jaune added. "Not to mention we aren't supposed to be here at this time" Blake, being another voice of reason spoke up. "Anyways.. So Asura, whatcha talk to Headmaster Ozpin about?" Yang questioned, trying to strike up a conversation.

"Remember he can't understand us?" Pyrrha sarcastically asked. "Allow me" Ren requested before walking up to Asura. Of course, he was a bit nervous talking to Asura but shadowed it with a composed look. "Greetings, Asura" He received a stare in response and a wave to continue before translating Ruby's question. "Your conversation was quite long, would you mind telling us what it was about?".

Surely, Asura could not tell them Ozpin's secret, or tell them about Salem... but he could explain his newest obligation to them. "We talked and decided that I could be of some help around here" Asura gestured around Beacon to illustrate his point before crossing his arms as he walked with the students towards the main exit. "What did he say?" Yang asked. "He said that he is going to help us around Beacon" Ren replied.

"So.. He'll be staying here?" Pyrrha asked followed by a quick translation from Ren beside Asura. "Not quite. I might consider it later" The demigod answered "Well, it's time I leave. Our paths will cross again soon." He added before walking out of the door before getting halted by a small scream. "Nora, don't bug him" Blake said but unexpectedly, Asura walked towards Nora. 'Does everyone here like doing this?' He thought as his exits had been halted far more than once now "What is it?" He asked with a mild frown on his face, one of frustration. "Who is the other guy?" She cheerfully asked. "He was so cool and he looked really strong" Ruby said "But of course Asura was better" She concluded with a smile. "He nearly destroyed the whole forest" Weiss added. "Oh, right" Ruby's smile faded into a worried look that disappeared as quickly as it appeared

"Sorry but she asked who your opponent was. Earlier today." Ren translated his partner's question to the former General. Asura looked into Remnant's night sku, specifically the broken moon "Akuma. His name is Akuma. I know not much of him other than the fact that he is powerful. I have only known him for four years and during that time, we only fought. Nothing more." Asura refocused his sight on the kids before waving "Well, That's it for now. Later!"

"Thank you for your time, Asura" Ren showed his appretiation. The two teams all waved Asura goodbye before witnessing him turn around and jump with a force so much, that it blew them all away.. Literally.

"Goodbye" They all said before turning back and walking back towards their respective dorms. "That sure was something.." Jaune said. "Yeah. Well, there's tomorrrow so..." Yang replied.

"Hey Ren, what did he say about the other fighter?" Nora asked curiously, turning her grin-coated face towards her gentler partner. "His name is Akuma, that was all he could say" Now that he thought about him, didn't akuma mean some kind of demon? That explained his strength and speed and attitude.

At this point, they had reached their dorm doors. "Catch ya tomorrow" "Good night" They said as they entered their rooms, exhausted after such a day.

Oh well, that's 6. Simply all I can do now. Don't forget to review cause I accept criticism and... There you are! I still have to catch him "Catch me if you can..."

Buh Bye!
