This is a mere one-shot idea of my upcoming War Chronicles series, just to start with something.
Central Park, Manhattan, New York City
It is quite a peaceful afternoon at Central Park, with every person in it enjoying their own fun.
One group in particular were enjoying themselves a "little" too much.
"Man… this is relaxing." Naruto Uzumaki, laying on his back in a large tree, right alongside a sleepy Monkey D. Luffy and Yoh Asakura, on top of a sleeping Blizzard, and a relaxed Pegasus Kouga, sleeping behind the trio on the other side of the tree.
"I agree - no threats. No jobs. Just a simple day-off." Kouga commented, before getting hit lightly in the head by a stray volleyball. The God-slayer became irritated and saw Shoyo Hinata racing to get the ball, playing a little two-on-two with Tetsuya Kuroko, Nagisa Shiota and Izuku Midoriya.
"Sorry, man. Tetsuya-kun was kinda off with his receive." Hinata apologized.
"Oh, please! You did that on purpose!" Kouga exclaimed, not buying that Hinata was trying to be sarcastic.
"That's your fault for not looking." Kuroko warned, politely.
"Now, now, Kuroko-kun." Izuku said, trying to keep the argument from getting worse.
"So basically, Kuroko-san is trying to be in denial that his fault receive from Hinata-san's strong spike hit Kouga in the face." Nagisa thought, having a sweat drop on his forehead.
"Ha! You suck, Kouga." Naruto teased, annoying Kouga more.
Blizzard let out a yawn with an annoyed expression. "Kids I swear."
"HEY, GUYS!" Soma Yukihira called out. "FOOD'S READY!"
The mention of food just woke Luffy from his nap. "First to serve!" He hollered, immediately running to where Soma's group is making lunch.
Yoh stretched his arms to see Luffy running off and chuckled. "Guess it's lunch time."
"Wait for us!" Naruto, Kouga, Blizzard, Hinata, Izuku and Nagisa called out.

At the lunch table enough for about 14 people, Soma was almost done making a large full-course BBQ meal, and just about done with the main meal. Sitting at the table were Manta Oyamada reading a book about the history on Central Park, Happy was dining on his usual fish, and Natsu Dragneel, Ichigo Kurosaki, Korra and Ruby Rose were playing Poker with Ichigo dealing the finishing blow to secure his victory with…
"Royal straight flush - eat that!" Ichigo boasted, showing the royal flush maneuver that got his win.
"C'mon!" Natsu complained, hands on head in total irritation.
"How do you always get the good cards!" Ruby pouted, puffing steam out of her ears.
Korra sighed. "I knew playing cards with you always end up like this."
"That's why you three are terrible at this game." Happy teased, earring glares from Natsu, Ruby and Korra.
"I think it's better than playing with Nagisa and his rotten good luck fortune." Manta commented.
"Hey! We're here!" Naruto called out, showing up with the others for lunch.
"Nagisa. Can you help us beat this lucky streak winner?" Natsu asked, getting a dirty look from Ichigo. Nagisa simply shrugged.
"Lunch is now ready, gang! This is my Yukihira Style BBQ Full-Course Special!" Soma hollered, showing a mixture of American and Japanese BBQ cuisine in meats, vegetables, fries, bread and snacks. He also made a grand dog food course just for Blizzard.
"FOOD~!" Naruto, Luffy, Kouga, Natsu, Happy, Ruby and Hinata shouted in unison.
"Let's eat!" Blizzard, Korra, Yoh, Manta, Izuku, Nagisa and Kuroko hollered in unison.
The 16 gathered at the table and started eating like crazy. The first bite they had enveloped them into a whole other dimension just from the technique and flavor.

"Damn, man! You are to us a world-class chef!" Natsu commented, wolfing down on his triple cheeseburger with bacon and hot sauce.
"So good~!" Happy cheered, being in "heaven" as he bit his fish that is raw, but has a richer favor to it.
"It's like total food heaven!" Blizzard hollered, or barked in a dog's case, eating a piece of meat that he finds challenging.
"As expected of Totsuki's 1st Seat." Ruby praised, eating a bowl of salad.
"Got that right." Soma said.
"Yeah! He even gives Sanji a run for his money sometimes!" Luffy hollered, chewing and talking at the same time.
(A/N: I have no idea how words while eating are used.)
"Manners, idiot!" Korra barked, slapping the back of Luffy's head, making him choke on the large meat he was eating.
Yoh chuckled. "These are fun times."
His Spirit Ally, Amidamaru, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, Lord Yoh. Joyful times among friends are most relaxing."
"Can't argue with that." Manta said, enjoying his lunch without reading his book.
"You wanna play Old Maid?" Nagisa innocently asked, only to get a annoyed expression from Ichigo.
"Not if you're planning another bet, Lucky Bastard. No." Ichigo said.
"You need to eat more so you can grow big, Tetsuya-kun! Midoriya-kun!" Hinata hollered, trying to add more food to Kuroko and Izuku's plates, to their nervousness.
"I-I'm good, Shoyo-kun." Kuroko said, trying to avoid getting picky.
"Y-Yeah! We're kinda full already." Izuku defended.
"This is the best normal day we could ever have." Kouga explained.
"You said it!" Naruto agreed with Kouga.
The sixteen continue to spend their day eating lunch and having fun, feeling relaxed without getting involved in any supervillain, supernatural, or any kind of trouble.
Just one simple day to relax and have fun!
This is a simple one-shot to kick off my new War Chronicles series! This was a little rushed, but really wanted to get back after being off for like a whole month, dealing with the crashed email notification problem before it just returned. But like I said a month ago, I will still be doing the War Chronicles crossover with Naruto, One Piece, Saint Seiya Omega, Fairy Tail, The Legend of Korra, Haikyū!, Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Sōma, Shaman King, My Hero Academia, RWBY, Bleach, Kuroko's Basketball and Assassination Classroom into three separate stories, along with some extra crossovers, movies and 3 separate filler arcs. I'll also be doing Tales of Emblems and Kings with Fire Emblem Engage, Tales of Arise and King's Raid (since I feel very annoyed there's no King's Raid fanfics like EVER) as a side story.
