Percy Jackson is Voldemort's grandson.
I don't own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter
Chapter 1
Percys pov,
I can't believe this; I'm going to have to tell my mum that I got kicked out yet again for a school bus explosion like seriously? I've said my goodbyes to Grover as I doubt, I'll ever see him again considering I'm going to another school next year- if one accepts me. The bus pulls up in front of my house, not looking forward to meeting smelly Gabe. As I get into the house I'm shocked by my mum, accompanied with a guest, holding a piece of parchment paper addressed to me.
The guest was tall and thin, with long silver hair, that looks long enough to tuck into his belt and a long beard. He also has twinkling blue eyes and was wearing half-moon glasses. "At last, young Perseus has joined us, please take a seat we have a lot to catch you up with." He stated, as I took a seat, he began the introduction "I'm Dumbledore, headmaster of a school called Hogwarts in England, it's a school for witches and wizards like yourself." That caught me off guard of all the things I was expecting, wizardry wasn't one of them. "Wizards don't exist and if they did, I'm definitely not one" I blankly stated. At that Dumbledore brought out a wooden stick and said "Lumos" a little light shone brightly from the end of the stick he then said "wingardium leviosa" and the cup which was filled with water started to fly. I sat their absolutely baffled what the actual fu-. My mouth dropped and the look on my face made Dumbledore chuckle.
"We would like you to attend Hogwarts the school for witches and wizards so that you can learn to do all those things as well, your mother is a squib which means she comes from a hereditary magical family but doesn't have magic herself." He went on to explain that they have detected magic in me and that I should attend this magic school to heighten my magical ability.
"But" he stated the glint in his eye darkened "your grandfather was an evil man he had the view that only wizards should exist and was planning to kill all the muggles, which means none magical people, Voldemort's obsession with blood purity signifies his aim to rid the wizarding world of Muggle (non-magical) heritage and to conquer both worlds, Muggle and wizarding, to achieve pure-blood dominance. lucky he was stopped by a young boy named harry potter, who will be in your year."
"You know my track record with schools isn't good right?"
"Yes, but hopefully we will be able to change that record now."
Sally who had been quite for the most part of this whole life changing dump of information asked, "isn't there a school in USA that caters for magical people that could take Percy, England is quite a flight away was we don't really do planes."
"Yes, there is but they didn't accept Percy based on his heritage, we don't cater such discrimination in England so this is why he must go to England, as for the flight there are other ways of getting to England that don't include flights."
"Like what?" both mum and I said at the same time, "like port keying, go and pack your things and when your done touch this mirror. 2 days from now at exactly 3:04pm" He pulled out a pocket mirror out of his pocket. "And you will be teleported to diagon alley the cobblestoned wizarding alley and shopping area located in London."
Chapter 2
Percy's POV
2 days later at exactly 3:04 we held the little mirror and zap! Just like that we were teleported to the leaky cauldron. With the wizarding letter that had instructions on what to get as well as a short stay booked in the leaky cauldron until the 1st of September when school starts.
As we stepped out into the street Percy wished he had 2 more sets of eyes There were shops selling robes, shops selling telescopes and strange silver instruments Percy had never seen before, windows stacked with barrels of bat spleens and eels' eyes, tottering piles of spell books, quills, and rolls of parchment, potion bottles, globes of the moon… so much to see so little time, only 2 days ago he found out he's a wizard and now on his way to a wizarding school he almost couldn't believe it.
"I think wizards use a different currency, the leaky cauldron being the exception. We should exchange our money first." Mom said.
Pointing at a sign that looked very banky-esk I said "Gringotts?!" they had reached a snowy white building that towered over the other little shops. Standing beside its burnished bronze doors, wearing a uniform of scarlet and gold, was a goblin? The goblin was about a head shorter than Percy. He had a swarthy, clever face, a pointed beard and very long fingers and feet. He bowed as they walked inside. A pair of goblins bowed them through the silver doors, and they were in a vast marble hall. About a hundred more goblins were sitting on high stools behind a long counter, scribbling in large ledgers, weighing coins on brass scales, examining precious stones through eyeglasses. There were too many doors to count leading off the hall, and yet more goblins were showing people in and out of these. Sally pulled out 700 dollars and in exchange she was given 110 golden galleons, 15 silver sickles and 26 bronze knuts we opened an account with Gringotts to safely be able to store money with them and then left shortly after.
After that ordeal they travelled around diagon alley collecting all the different supplies needed for the next academic term with their newfound galleons. But no shop gave them as much trouble as Oleanders'. "The wand chooses the wizard" handing Percy the fist wand to try
"Lacewood 7 inches werewolf fang core" but just as quickly as it was put into his hand it was taken out.
"Redwood 13 inches with a Fwooper's feather" as the wand touched his hand it started vibrating as though trying to get out of his hand. Olivander seemed to think this was the case so he took the wand out of his hand
"Linden wood 10 inches erumpent hide core" the wand started to heat up in his hand, clearly a bad sign, before it combusted Olivander took it out "definitely not"
"Madrona wood 9 inches kelpie hair inside" this time the wand did absolutely nothing "give it a wave" so he did, and a bunch of stored wands flew out of the shelves into a messy pill on the floor "never mind, repairo" he said hastily, and the wands went back to their original position as though nothing had happened.
A little while later after 30 or so other tries of which I wont bore you the details of, lets just say there was a lot of repairo spells to happen
"Alder, Phoenix feather, 12 1/2 inches" the tip of the wand glowed a blue sea colour streaks of which started coming out of the wand "yes! Finally!" Olivander seemed more relived then percy was, "that will be 5 galleons thank you".
"Alder is a wood that never gives up, but I've found that the ideal owner of that wand isn't often obstinate or stubborn—rather, they're usually kind, courteous, and incredibly likeable. But alder is exceptional in that it seems to crave a nature that is, if not completely opposite to its own, then certainly of a significantly different sort; other wand woods seek resemblance in the characteristics of those they would best serve. An alder wand becomes a wonderful, devoted companion when it is planted with happiness. Because alder is the most appropriate wand kind for nonverbal spell work out of all of others, it has earned the reputation of being reserved for the most skilled witches and wizards. It is uncommon for a first-year student to be accepted by it.
The rarest core kind is this one. The largest spectrum of magic can be found in phoenix feathers, though it may take them longer to show this than in dragon or unicorn cores. They take the most initiative and occasionally act on their own initiative, which is a trait that many wizards and witches find objectionable. Given that the creature from which they are taken is among the most autonomous and unattached in the universe, phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to possible owners. These are the most difficult wands to control and customise, and gaining their loyalty usually requires some effort, I'm shocked it chose you!"
After that monologue we left the store and went back into to Leakey cauldron with all the Hogwarts supplies in hand ready for September.
