A/N: Last Chapter, I said the date in Gero's log was 859. I meant Age 759. Oof. Apparently I was off by a hundred years…

Clockwork Soul

Trampire stood in the wastelands near Dr.Gero's lab, feeling out her new strength. First, she punches a mesa, which crumbles instantly.

A larger than average desert rabbit jumped out in front of her. Without hesitation, she snatched the rabbit out of the air, and bit into its flesh, draining the unfortunate creature of all blood.

Ki surged throughout her body, an aura of blue ki raged around her, as her muscles tensed and expanded. Apparently the new organs Gero gave her also allowed her to take advantage of more Ki than ever before. Trampire knew what ki was, but had never made any effort to learn how to use it. Perhaps now, she can use her powers for more than just trying to survive Mercenary Tao's "training"

"Dodge!" Mercenary Tao screamed, firing a Dodon Ray at Trampire, who got hit in the leg by the energy blast.

Trampire tried moving in to get a hit on Tao, but he effortlessly dodged every single attack she tried to make. For minutes, Tao weaved through every single attack she made, until he finally went in for a knee to her stomach. The blow winded Trampire, but she managed to continue and stick an elbow into Tao's chin after a feint with her knee, knocking tao square onto his butt.

"Well done. Although it would help to dodge instead of tanking every single hit. I know you are ungodly durable, but there is a reason people avoid being hit at all instead of tanking them."

"Thank you master. However, I have one request."

Tao sneered "Yes?" She took his cyborg hand, and raised it to a tree. "Shoot the Tree. I will stand in front of it, I want to try it again. This time, don't hold back."

Trampire jumped in front of the tree, this time sensing the ki charging in his arm, able to see the shot's angle with her cybernetic glass eye, she effortlessly glided out of the way of the dodon ray.

"Well Done, Android 12. Gero told me you were one of the only androids he made that can pick up on combat techniques this quickly. Perhaps next time, I can teach you how to do the dodon ray yourself?"

"I think it's more that pain is a good motivator, you know he shocks me every time I get anything even slightly wrong?" Trampire sneered at him.

"What was that, you whore?" Gero came into the training area just in time to hear that. "Don't make me shock you for talking back to your creator!"

Gero glared daggers at Trampire, who had a serious "bite me" kind of look to her.

"You know, Gero, you can't train someone with pain alone. Sometimes you need a carrot to supplement the stick. Even though I know this, I hate doing it. While I much prefer the pain of discipline, sometimes encouragement can work just as well. Sometimes you don't want to injure your pupils." Tao explained.

Trampire eyes the grisled mercenary, shocked he'd say such a thing. "Thanks for defending me, Tao, even if I have no idea you actually cared about me at all, much less enough to defend me."

"Don't be impressed, you were expensive to the red ribbon army, it is in their best interests to not harm you directly, or risk you turning on them in their weakened state." Tao explained, to the horror of Dr. Gero.

The Doctor's eyes went wide, his mouth agape, broadcasting emotions Trampire never even dreamed of seeing in her master. Maybe she did have hope of escape if her captors were really so weak. All she had to do was train for a while longer, and she'd be free.

Trampire made it into a village, producing clothes with a beam of vampiric magic to put on so she can blend in with the population. As she entered a bar, the people cowered behind the tables, as one of them pokes their heads out, she says "You aren't one of Gero's creations? We barely survived the last attack of the short black one!"

Trampire was taken aback. She had no idea Gero's other creations were this dangerous to their surroundings, they were probably forced into violence by his programming, but even then, the other androids reveling in destruction was worrying to her. "You have nothing to fear. Yes, I was kidnapped by Gero and forced into being one of his abominations, but I believe I have suppressed his mind games enough to not be a threat to you. I will try my best to simply buy a drink and leave."

The woman perked up at this, getting back to the bar. "If you say so, but if you lose control, please do your best to leave. We can't handle another rampaging Android."

"I will definitely keep that in mind." Trampire said, "I know this may come as a very strange request, but do you have Sanguesso? I used to be a vampire, but now I'm not sure what I am. I promise I won't try to bite anyone while I'm here, but surviving off rat's blood is hard on my body."

She looked at her bar, then frowned. "We would gladly serve vampires here, so long as they kept their business to themselves and refrained from drinking people, but we are out of sanguesso. There's some blood pearls growing in barrels across town, perhaps you can eat some of those, we won't look down on you for it."

Trampire was saddened, but continued, "Thank you, I'm sorry I can't give you business another way. It wasn't my fault I'm a vampire after all. Count Drac made sure we all were."

"I'm aware of the stories. The Sanguine Mist affected an entire generation on the East continent four centuries ago. I empathize with your transformation, even if most do not."

"I'm glad you at least trust me. I hated what I had become for so long, yet now I have been transformed again, as you can see from my new eye…" Trampire looked down, sensing the bartender's pity towards her.

Trampire was suddenly wracked with pain, her mind focused on the words Gero had seared into her mind. Falling to the ground, clutching her head, "Get out of here!" She yelled. The five people in the building obliged her warning, making it out through the back door quite quickly.

Her willpower was just barely enough to prevent it from worming into her head for several moments. She succumbed to her rage as an azure aura cloaked her figure, pulsating in and out, on and off as she fought the powerful orders coming into her head. It was more than usual. Much more.

You have failed your master, return at once, 12! So that way I can dismantle your whore body into some kind of a useful scrap heap!

She wasn't able to hold out, and the voice assaulted her mind as it became impossible to ignore, her Ki exploded in a release of energy she had been holding in to prevent the message from worming into her mind. The blast crushed table and chair; bar, and structure alike. Upon regaining her senses, she lit up in fear at her unintentional destructive capability, incidentally destroying most of the bar.

Now that I have your attention, you can do one thing and I may reconsider dismantling you…

She knew what was coming, but braced for the worst.
