Hey guys! It is time once again to view the life of Son Milla! Now that she's recovered from her sickness, things are about to be interesting. I know I'm excited, and I hope you are too. Before we begin, let's answer some reviews!

Kitsunefan: We'll just see how long it takes him. You'll just have to wait on who the mysterious Saiyan on Earth is.

Fregreg: I'm glad that you like it! I figured it'd be good to play around with how saiyans work to make for a more original story. Now that is a conversation we'll have to see when or if it happens.

That's all of them, at the posting of this chapter that is. Let's begin! I don't own Dragon Ball in any of its many forms. I do own original characters, concepts, and ideas unless stated otherwise. Action!

Kame House

As Raditz had predicted, Milla was up and running three days after she got sick. She still followed his instructions as she rested for the third day, munching on cold fruits. In fact, she quickly came to like cold strawberries as a result. She was pretty much spoiled throughout her time of being sick, though she definitely wasn't going to repeat the experience to get the same treatment. As soon as she was able to move like normal and wouldn't get winded, it was all training for her.

Milla and Krillin found themselves on similar schedules as they interchanged between milk deliveries and field tilling. Once they were able to do both in half the usual time, Roshi reinstated doing both every day. There were other training methods throughout the day- such as swimming away from hungry sharks, studying up on various subjects, and dodging angry hornets- but the two students quickly got used to it. All of this was on top of being made to wear heavy turtle shells that made things harder. Their ultimate goal before the World Martial Arts Tournament was to push a massive boulder that, before their training began, even Milla could not move.

Of course, Milla had a special training assignment of her own during the night. Master Roshi instructed her to meditate every night under the moon, watching over her to ensure she didn't fall asleep instead. While she wasn't sure about it, she decided to trust the man's judgment. It actually didn't take long for her to get used to meditating instead of sleeping. She did have more weird dreams with the massive beast and the glowing man, but she didn't mind as long as she could actually sleep.

This training went on for two months, the only time Milla didn't meditate was when she begged Master Roshi to not have her be out during the full moon. It made her feel bad to beg like that, but her fear of her grandfather's killer was too much for her to bear. As time went on, in spite of this, both she and Krillin grew exponentially stronger. Milla also found a sense of calm as the meditation gave her a peace of mind. It even made her image of the giant beast in her dream look less frightening and more interesting.

The one other thing that worried her was that Raditz hadn't been on her Scouter's station this entire time. She had so many questions she wanted answered, but she figured the other people he was with weren't giving him any time to be away. It made her sad to hear nothing but static during this time. Thankfully time with her friends made up for this sadness, especially whenever she and Krillin could just hang out. She continued to feel a strange draw towards the boy, his caregiving during her sickness amplifying it.

On this night, she found herself so deep in concentration with her meditation that she could almost make out the beast from her dreams. She could nearly recount every detail of the shadow, including the fact that it seemed to be some form of monkey. It was a worrying sight to say the least, but she figured she could ask Raditz about it when he finally called her back again. The sound of Master Roshi's cane tapping the ground broke her from her concentration. She opened her eyes to see him nodding at her with a small smile. He gave her time for her senses to become in tune with the world around her again before speaking.

"It's near time to head back, so stand up and loosen up," ordered the hermit. "We'll pick up where we left off again tomorrow." Milla nodded as she practically hopped up, revealing that she had grown a bit in the two months she learned from her master. She stretched in order to pop her back, only to quickly notice the phase the moon was in. She sighed in uncertainty as she looked towards her master.

"Master Roshi?" questioned the Saiyan. "Tomorrow looks like it's another full moon. Could we skip again? I know I skipped last time but…" She was shocked as he shook his head in defiance. His beard stopped swaying as he walked a bit closer to her.

"Milla, you cannot skip out tomorrow night. It is mandatory that you meditate on that very night." The monkey girl began to hyperventilate again as she tried her best to remain calm.

"B…but Master! Tomorrow's a full moon! The big scary monster that killed Grandpa will show up! We need to be inside when that happens!" This earned her a sigh from Roshi as he walked past her.

"Milla, the time has come for me to come clean about the goal of this exercise." This had Milla turn towards him, confused by what he meant. The master turned back towards her with a serious frown. "I have been teaching you meditation to face the monster head on." The monkey girl shook in her shoes as she took a step back.

"W…what!? But I'm not ready for that! That thing was strong enough to kill Grandpa! That is the one thing that I will always agree I'm not ready for! I'm not strong enough!" While the pain to her pride hurt, the hit to the top of her head from Roshi's cane hurt more.

"Do not be a fool, child! I have not been training you through tough conditions such as these for you to doubt your true power! You have surpassed what Gohan was capable of at your age! You are more than ready to take on the Beast of the Moon!" Milla blinked, shocked by what her master proclaimed.

Was she… actually strong enough now? The thought of seeing the creature face to face scared her, though it also excited the fighter in her. Seeing her confliction, the elderly master sighed. "Milla, I will make you a promise. I promise that if you cannot handle the monster, I will send it away myself."

The Turtle Hermit patted his chest as he nodded his head. "Gohan has fought me many times in tournaments and in spars, yet he has never been able to best me. This monster will be nothing for me. I ask you to trust me, as you are more than ready for the challenge ahead." Milla thought over these words for a few minutes.

The excitement hit her like a rampaging dinosaur, which she has felt every now and again during training. The thought of avenging her grandfather's death years after his passing and being able to say it to his face with proof made her body twitch with adrenaline. Whatever fear she had seemed to subside as her thirst for battle grew. She was able to breathe to calm herself down, bringing her body to an equilibrium. She finally took another breath as she nodded her head.

"Okay, but you better keep that promise. I won't forgive you or myself if you end up dying on me." This caused Roshi to chuckle as he held onto his stomach.

"Don't worry, Little Monkey. I will be just fine. Let's head home." The man immediately began to speed walk home, knowing exactly what was about to happen. Feeling an increase in her emotions she couldn't explain, Milla suddenly ran after the elderly master.

"I. AM. NOT. LITTLE!" She chased her master back to the house, where she was thankfully calmed down by Launch.

The Next Day

Milla rolled around in her bed, mumbling about a giant creature. In her mind she saw the beast from all of her dreams, only this time the glowing man was not with it. She found that it would repeat any movement she made, as if it were a mirror. She was about to try touching the beast when she rolled straight into the wall. For some reason it caused pain to her chest, making her cry out as she jumped up from the mattress like a cat.

"Yowch!" cried Milla. "That was like having someone jab my chest! What was that!?" She looked at the wall extensively, only to find nothing there. She crossed her arms as she groaned, only for her chest to feel a bit different than she remembered.

It looked like Launch was already downstairs with Puar, so she decided to rub at her chest while no one was looking. She was surprised when she felt some squishy bumps that weren't there before. It shocked her that something new was on her body, something she could feel. She quickly ran for the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. She decided to remove her shirt, looking at the area. She touched them a few times, still surprised by it.

Downstairs, Blue Launch was in the middle of looking at what she could make for breakfast. After the pufferfish fiasco, she decided to get a cookbook and follow the recipes inside it down to the letter. She started off with some simple eggs and fruits, though had quickly risen to foods that would be good for the others' development. She even started making more things that would help Milla with her height, something she would only tell the girl when she eventually starts raising her own kids. Launch immediately began to think about what it would be like to actually have children of her own, imagining kids that had hair colors similar to both of her halves.

Her daydreaming was cut off as she heard a door squeak as it opened. "Hey Launch!? Puar!? Can you come here please! It's a private girl matter!"

The woman immediately ran upstairs, doing her best not to trip on them. She was about to reach the door when Puar flew past her. The feline entered the bathroom with a serious frown.

"I'm here Milla!" cheered the feline. "What's going on!? Do I need to use my tail hairs to make Launch go Blonde!?" Launch shut the door behind them as she rolled her eyes, only to quickly realize that Milla was topless. The monkey girl rubbed at her own chest, making her look a bit uncomfortable.

"My chest grew bumps. Is that normal or should I see a doctor?" Milla had to cover her ears as both her female companions squealed out in joy. "I take it that it's a good thing then!" Launch pulled the young girl's hands away from her ears with a smile.

"Oh Milla, it's completely normal and something to be excited about! You're turning into a young woman! Your bosom is growing and everything." Milla took a moment to think on these words, feeling that the words were on the tip of her tongue. Her eyes widened as she recognized what that meant, her tail wagging as she grinned.

"That means I'm growing boobies like you and Bulma!" This had Puar falter a bit as Launch giggled at how scandalous Milla unknowingly sounded. The door was knocked on multiple times, causing Milla to tilt her head.

"Did someone say boobies!?" cried the voice of Master Roshi. "Who's got boobies!?" Launch turned towards the door, growling in anger.

"You have five seconds to leave us alone before I let Blonde out!" roared the bluenette. "Five. Four…" The sound of the elderly master crying out in fear rang throughout the building as he ran away from the bathroom. Puar floated to land on the monkey girl's head as her excited smile returned.

"It seems like only yesterday you were talking like a three year old!" cried the shapeshifting feline. "Now you're standing strong and you're growing up!" Milla smiled sadly as she looked down at the floor.

"Growing up, huh?" questioned the Saiyan. "Grandpa always said he'd wish I never grew up, but it's happening anyways." Her head was tilted upwards as Launch sent her a smile.

"All caregivers say that about their kids, but they usually don't really mean it," revealed the bluenette. "The next time he sees you, you'll show him how beautiful you are." Milla blushed at being called beautiful, playing with her hair a bit. "In fact, since it's a rest day for the most part, we need to go on a shopping trip to celebrate! There are so many things you'll need now that you're growing up!"

Milla tilted her head, confused by this news. "I'm talking pads, training bras, and all other kinds of womanly stuff that are necessary! After breakfast, we'll take a ride out on the Nimbus and head for Metro South. While we're there we could see the tournament stage being set up if they've started early." The monkey girl suddenly grinned as she leapt for joy.

"Yeah! Let's do it!" Milla was about to run out the door, only for Launch to stop her.

"Milla! Shirt!" Milla immediately realized what her friend meant, facepalming as she cried out in embarrassment.

"Right! Sorry Launch!" She immediately threw her shirt back on, running out the door. It didn't take long for breakfast to be served, Milla woofing down her food faster than usual. She nearly choked on some pancake pieces before Krillin patted her on the back.

"Slow down, Milla!" cried the monk. "What's got you all excited?" Milla sent him a toothy grin as she bounced up and down in her seat.

"Launch and Puar are taking me shopping! They said I'm growing up so I need to buy a lot of girly things I need!" This had Oolong and Roshi sending her genuine smiles.

"Well I never thought I'd see the day!" cheered the old hermit. "Why, I remember when my sister first started developing. Oh the terror she caused with her hormones out of whack!" Milla shivered a bit, worried that such an experience would be her own. She and the others suddenly realized something as the people at the table leaned closer to the old man.

"YOU HAVE A SISTER!?" cried the group. Roshi nearly fell out of his chair from how loud they were. He quickly nodded his head to confirm the fact.

"Indeed I do! She went into fortune telling while I stuck with the martial arts, but we were quite the terrible twosome back in my youth. Of course, now she's a greedy old prune. Um… don't tell her I said that if you ever meet her." This caused Milla to giggle as Launch walked over from the kitchen.

"Ready to go, girls?" questioned the bluenette. "This is a girls' trip only, so sorry boys." Only Oolong and Roshi sounded their disappointment as they slumped in their seats. While Milla didn't know what went on in their minds, she figured it was one of those things that made her friends want to hit them so much. She looked to her right as Krillin gave her a nod.

"Well don't let me stop you," stated the monk. "Go do your girly things. We'll be here when you get back." This caused Milla to grin as she hugged the boy close to her chest. This had Krillin blushing and the other guys gawking in shock before she released him and leapt out of her chair.

"I'm ready!" cheered the monkey girl. "Bye guys! Girls out!" Milla ran outside, Puar flying right behind her as Launch walked in their trail. Krillin blinked multiple times as Master Roshi adjusted his sunglasses.

"Give it a few years and keep on making her happy, Krillin my boy, and you'll have a much nicer experience," explained the perverted hermit. "One that very few men get to experience." Krillin nodded his head, still looking dumbfounded. The whole thing made him feel awkward yet attracted to his rival, causing him to walk away to the bathroom. The other guys laughed at his reaction, howling in amusement.

A little while later, the Flying Nimbus could be seen soaring through the air. Launch sat right behind Milla while Puar laid down on her head. The living cloud performed a few maneuvers, causing the girls to cheer in excitement. Milla giggled as she rubbed the top of her companion, causing it to purr in pleasure. The trio soon spotted a landmass down below, Launch pointing towards it.

"There's Metro South!" cheered the bluenette. "We'll hit the pharmacy before going to a clothing store. That way we can have fun while not worrying about losing track of time and not grabbing the essentials. Take us down right there, Milla!" The monkey girl nodded as she leaned forwards a bit.

"You heard her, Nimbus!" cheered the Saiyan. "Mush!" The cloud immediately did as told, flying down in a spiral while avoiding losing its passengers. The group landed on the ground, Launch immediately leading the way. What they did not know was that nearby, a familiar duo were checking out a well-known dojo.

Well, "checking out" was not the right wording. Several men in uniforms went flying as they were effortlessly defeated, one by one. A much larger man went in for the attack, only for a howling sound to go off as he too was sent hurtling into a wall. A lone figure stood on the mat, bouncing up and down as he readied for his next opponent. This figure was Yamcha, the man growling as he looked at the pile of knocked out fighters.

"Come on!" cried the former bandit. "Don't tell me that's all you've got!? And here you talked about your dojo being actually good!" Some cheering was heard nearby, causing Yamcha to turn that way. He blushed a bit as he saw Bulma cheering him on.

"Go Yamcha!" cheered the genius. "You've got this! Teach these guys what a real fighter looks like!" The man nodded his head in response, only to dodge as the burliest of the bunch tried to get a sneak attack on him. The bulky man chuckled as he cracked his knuckles.

"This puny guy really thinks he can wipe the floor with our entire dojo!?" questioned the fighter. He laughed heartily as he clenched his gut. "Once I'm done with him, he'll do nothing but sweep the floor for months! Then I can show his little girlfriend what a real man looks like!" Yamcha growled, his inner wolf joining him.

"I was gonna go easy on you to put on a show, but now you've asked for it!" cried the warrior. He struck at the man's chest a few times, causing him to cry out in pain. He then swept the bulky behemoth off his feet, causing him to fall over. As he was falling, Yamcha stood up from his crouched position. He then moved his hands into his signature stance as his opponent began to imagine a wolf in his place.

All the buff fighter could do was cry out in fear as Yamcha ran straight at him. "Wolf Fang Fist!" He struck the opponent in the gut, causing the man to nearly regurgitate from the attack. The man was sent flying backwards, crashing into his fellow fighters. Yamcha stood up from his ready position as he had well and truly conquered the dojo. He was suddenly hugged from the side as Bulma snuggled up to him.

"That's my big strong boyfriend!" cheered the girl. "There's no one you can't beat!" Yamcha chuckled at this for a moment, only to frown as he looked down.

"I have a feeling that won't be the case much longer. There's no way Milla's gonna miss out on a chance to test her strength, and there's no way she's been lax on her training with a teacher like the great Muten Roshi. Not to mention there will be other strong fighters there to really test my progress." He looked up as Bulma hugged closer to him.

"Don't you dare start putting yourself down now! While I will be rooting for both you and Milla, there is no way some random fighter will be better than you! If you keep this up, you'll be the strongest man in the world." Yamcha couldn't help but chuckle as he put his arm around Bulma's waist. He quickly walked with her towards the exit as the men began to groan nearby.

"Let's go find another dojo before those guys get up. That or we could grab some brunch at the nearby restaurant." Bulma couldn't help but cheer in interest as they walked outside, only for the duo to watch as a familiar golden cloud took off into the sky without its master. "Well look who's here." Bulma immediately let go of her boyfriend as a grin formed on her face.

"Milla!" She quickly ran towards the area the cloud took off from, Yamcha not far behind. "Milla! Wait up!" They reached the area, only to not see their little friend amongst the crowd of people.

"She couldn't have gotten far. Come on!" They quickly ran away from the area, hoping to find her in a spot that would make sense. If they had waited longer, however, they would have seen her walk out of the pharmacy with Launch and Puar. Launch was carrying some bags as Milla looked a bit uncomfortable.

"Are you sure I have to wear some of that?" questioned the Saiyan girl. "Some of it looked and smelled funny." This caused Launch to chuckle at her, the woman rubbing the top of her head.

"Trust me Milla," requested the woman. "You'll wish you had them when you find yourself without them. It's not a pleasant experience." Milla grumbled her compliance under her breath as she stuck her hands in her pockets. Puar suddenly floated in front of her with a huge smile.

"Don't worry, Milla!" cheered the feline. "Now that we have all of this stuff, we can go clothing shopping! It's much more fun to try clothes on!" This had the monkey girl grinning as she nodded her head. Luckily the clothing store was nearby, the group entering it almost as instantly as they had the pharmacy.

Milla smiled as she saw a familiar scene of different outfits hanging around the store, as well as people trying the stuff out. She was about to run straight for the shirts and pants on the girls' side, only to have Launch place a hand on her shoulder.

"Not so fast, Milla!" cried the woman. "We have to start somewhere else first, but it'll be really quick." The monkey girl gulped as she nodded her head, hoping that Launch wasn't thinking what she thought she was thinking. She was quickly led to the undergarments area, thankful that it wasn't the dress aisle.

Launch grabbed several pairs of training bras and panties as she sent Milla a smile. "When you get older, this is the kind of undies you'll really want to wear. A girl's chest is a really painful spot to be hit in and sometimes your bosom will knock together. Bras help to make that not happen, but for now you'll be wearing training bras." Milla hummed as she crossed her arms, tilting her head.

"I think I get it," stated the Saiyan. "I have to wear these before I can wear the real thing, right?" Launch playfully rubbed her hair in response.

"You're almost right, but it's more to get you used to wearing bras while you're still young and growing. Still, you're on the right track. Guess you're really paying attention while Master Roshi is having you read." Milla giggled at this with a blush as she nodded her head. The group immediately made their way towards the section that Milla was excited to look through.

While she had a bad experience with shopping before now, she couldn't deny that she still liked the experience of trying on different outfits. She more blamed herself for what happened rather than the act of shopping itself. She immediately began to dig through the outfits with Puar, finding a few she wanted to try while Launch was off somewhere else. "Hey Milla! Come here for a moment!"

Milla immediately ran over to see what her friend found, only to come face to face with the section she very much dreaded. Dresses of different types and shapes were hung all down the aisle, looking rather tight in her opinion. Launch walked towards her with a pink dress in hand. "Isn't this one so pretty? And it's in your size!" Milla immediately backed up against a shoe display hissing a bit in fear like a cat.

"No! No dresses!" Launch looked completely baffled by the girl's response, quickly pulling the object further away from her. Puar immediately flew over, a concerned look on her face. She sighed in relief before giving Launch an apologetic frown.

"Sorry, Launch, but Milla absolutely hates dresses," revealed the feline. "I don't know why, but she'll run away if you try to put her in one." Launch took a moment to process this, worried that something traumatic happened to the monkey girl. She put the dress back on the rack, watching as Milla made a pouty face as she crossed her arms. The woman then crouched down to be at eye level with her.

"Now Milla, why don't you tell me what's wrong," requested Launch. "I think you'd look so pretty in a dress." Milla's frown grew harder as she looked away.

"Bulma had me put on a dress for a plan of hers, but it was so tight and stuffy that I couldn't fight in it," revealed the Saiyan. Her expression turned into that of a regular frown as she looked down. "If I can't fight, it makes me scared. I don't like the feeling of not being able to do anything in a bad situation. Maybe it's something back where I can't remember, but I just hate the feeling of being useless when others are in danger."

Milla allowed her arms to drop as she let loose a sigh. "Sorry, Launch. I messed up our whole girls' trip. Maybe I'm just not ready to grow up if tight dresses are a grown girl thing." Launch immediately pulled Milla into a hug as she cooed.

"Oh Milla, you didn't ruin everything. I didn't know you had such a strong fear of being confined." She pulled back as she had her hands on the Saiyan's shoulders. "Dresses aren't required for grown up girls, but I think you'd enjoy them if you gave them a try. Dresses are normally very loose, so you could fight in one if you really needed to. They're only tight on you if the design is too small for you or if they are designed to be tight."

Milla looked away with an uncertain expression, only for Launch to turn her head back towards her. "I'll tell you what. We'll find dresses that very active girls like to wear. If you end up not liking them, I promise I'll never try to make you wear one again. I swear that I'll cut my hair off if I go back on my promise." This had Blonde yelling at her from the back of her head as Milla suddenly grabbed hold of her arms.

"No! Not your hair! It's so pretty and wavy!" This had Launch giggling a bit as she rubbed Milla's cheek. She then grinned as she tilted her head a bit.

"We'd both be facing our fears then. I'm always afraid of messing up my hair but being grown up is about facing your fears head on. So please, try this for me?" Milla looked down as she thought over Launch's request. She sighed as she nodded her head.

"Alright, but I'll tell you the same thing I told Bulma about other clothes! Nothing tight and nothing frilly!" This had Launch laughing a bit as she stood up straight.

"Aye-aye, Captain Milla! We'll make this first dress extravaganza the best you've ever had!" Milla finally was back to smiling as she giggled at the woman's goofiness. The trio quickly grabbed different clothes for the Saiyan to try on. Milla wanted to start with the regular clothes before she went to the dresses, running into the first empty changing room.

The first outfit she came out in was a set of girls' exercise clothes, specifically a pink sweatshirt and light gray sweat shorts. Launch smiled as she clapped her hands lightly. "Very nice! That'll be great for training and general exercise!" Milla nodded her head before walking back into the changing room.

She then exited while wearing a pink basketball jersey and some gray cargo shorts, the top straps of a training bra displayed on her shoulders. She tried to mimic the pose she saw the sporty girl in the image in that area, though she didn't have a ball to hold. This time Puar had input as she floated around a bit.

"Nice!" cheered the feline. "You look like you're ready to play ball… which I just realized is a term from a different sport." This had Milla chuckle as she once again bowed back into the booth. She fumbled around a bit inside the room, grunting as if she was having a bit of trouble. The sound of the girl grunting caused Launch to gain a worried expression.

"Milla! Is everything alright in there!" The Saiyan immediately poked her head out, a scared look on her face.

"Um… we've got a problem!" cried the monkey girl. "I can't get in this one! I need help please!" This had Launch sighing in relief as she joined the monkey girl in the room. She immediately recognized the problem as Milla was trying to work her way into a black one piece swimsuit without a tail hole, the girl's tail not wanting to comply.

"Stop, Milla! You're gonna rip a hole in it! If you break it, we'll have to buy it whether you like it or not!" Milla immediately stopped her progress, allowing the outfit to drop to her knees.

"I didn't know! I just thought it looked nice!" Launch nodded her head as she rubbed the Saiyan's hair in order to calm her down.

"I know, sweetheart, but not everything was made for girls with tails. If you like the color then Puar can grab you a pretty two piece I saw that looks almost the same." Milla nodded her head, sniffling in disappointment. "Puar…" The cat popped up above the stall to show that she was smiling.

"I heard you guys!" cried the feline. "Puar to the rescue!" This caused the duo to chuckle as Launch walked backwards a bit.

"Now it's all taken care of. I know that was the last regular outfit, so all that's left are the dresses. Remember what I said about growing up. Part of it is facing your fears." Milla took a deep breath as she nodded her head.

"I know. Just… give me a moment." Launch nodded in understanding as she slowly left the room, closing the door behind her. Milla took a good while in the room, beginning to worry her bluenette friend. She was in the middle of sliding on a dress that Launch picked out, sliding her head through the top as she looked in the mirror.

Her eyes widened as sparkles formed in them. The dress was red in color, having a rose pattern stitched onto it. It only hugged her torso gently, the lower half being extremely loose as it waved with every movement she made. She spun around, revealing that there was a natural tail hole in the back. All of the dresses they picked out were this way, made for animal people that had tails of several kinds.

Milla had used her headband to wrestle her hair into a ponytail, the cloth taking on a ribbon knot. She couldn't help but gasp as she touched her reflection in the mirror, feeling like a completely different person. She heard a knock at the door, causing her to jerk as she looked towards the exit.

"Anytime you're ready, Milla! Just remember to be yourself, and imagine Krillin is watching!" Milla blushed at this notion as Launch's giggle was heard through the door. She quickly rubbed at her face in order to regain her composure. She hopped up and down a bit in an attempt to calm her nerves.

Milla took a deep breath before opening the changing room door. The nervous look on her face was clear to all that laid eyes upon her. She began to feel like this was a mistake, only for her friend to give her a standing ovation. "You look so beautiful! I told you it'd be great!"

The woman then spun her finger around towards the ground. "Give me a turn, please! I'm just dying to bask in your presence!" Recognizing the expression, Milla smiled with a giggle as she turned around. She actually liked the way the fabric tickled her legs as it flowed like it was in the wind.

"I… I love it!" cheered the Saiyan. "It's so flowy and it hugs me!" Launch smiled cheekily as she placed a hand on her cheek.

"And to think, you hated dresses only a moment ago. Didn't I tell you you'd love them!?" Milla blushed in embarrassment as she rubbed the back of her head. "Well don't just stand there, try some more on!" The Saiyan giggled again as she played with the bottom of the outfit a bit.

"Okay. Maybe we could… look for some more afterwards if we have time?" This had Launch smile softly as she nodded her head.

"As long as you'd like." This caused Milla to grin as she ran back into the stall. A world she never knew was basically opened up for her, and she was going to enjoy every moment of it.

Outside, Bulma walked back towards the area she and Yamcha saw Milla's Flying Nimbus take off from, her arms crossed as her cheeks were puffed. They had looked all over town for the girl, finding no trace of her. She wasn't even at any of the restaurants that she could really enjoy. It was beginning to tick the genius off greatly. Yamcha tried to massage her shoulders as a way to calm her down.

"Just breathe, Babe," reassured the fighter. "There aren't many more places she could be." Bulma groaned as she slumped forward a bit.

"I know, but now I'm worried about her," revealed the capsule user. "When I tried to visit her on the old perv's island everything was gone. There was only a trace of where a house once was on the sand. What if some random old man tricked us and is turning Milla into something else?" This had Yamcha chuckling as he shook his head.

"No offense, Bulma, but you sound like an overprotective mother hen or older sister. I know that the old man was Muten Roshi, because no one else could have pulled off that move he used unless he taught them himself. I mean, except for Milla, but we both know she's a different case altogether." This had Bulma chuckle as she nodded her head. They looked like they were about to have a tender moment, only for Bulma to squeal in glee as she saw something.

She ran away from Yamcha towards what she saw, causing him to grin as he followed her. "What is it!? Did you find her!?" He skidded to a stop as he finally saw what Bulma did. His expression fell as she pointed at a purple dress while running in place.

"They're having a dress sale and this one looks so beautiful! Five minute break for clothes shopping, please Yamcha?" The former bandit frowned as he looked away.

"Come on, Bulma! Last time we went clothes shopping you didn't even buy anything!" Bulma growled as she puffed out her cheeks. She suddenly got an idea, gaining a devious smirk as a result. She sauntered up to Yamcha before laying against his chest a bit, causing him to blush as her bosom squished against said area.

"That's too bad. Some dresses I'd definitely need help getting out of. With no other girls around, I was hoping my hunky, strong boyfriend would help me out." She suddenly pulled back with her eyes closed, already knowing that Yamcha was looking at her with a dopey expression. "But if you really don't want to go I can't make you, so…" She was immediately picked up bridal-style by Yamcha, the man blushing as he had a determined smirk on his face.

"Suddenly I think I need a suit for the Tournament coming up! We can totally go shopping! Let's go!" This had Bulma laughing as the man barged into the store with her. His mind didn't even register what he originally knew would happen.

He was swiftly brought back to reality as he walked around with several dresses in his arms. Only a handful of them were the way that Bulma said they'd be in. making him realize that she tricked him. He huffed as he followed Bulma along another aisle. 'At least I get to see her model these.' He giggled like a dork, only for a familiar cry to catch his attention.

"LOOK OUT!" cried Puar. "CAT FLYING BLIND!" He looked towards the origin of the outcry, his eyes widening as he saw his feline friend rocketing straight towards him with the top of a two piece swimsuit covering her eyes. He screamed as a way to get her to stop, but she was too caught up in her own terror as she barreled into him. Bulma ran out of the aisle she was in, looking horrified as her chosen outfits laid sprawled across the ground.

"Oh come on! You beat up like 20 or 30 martial artists but you can't handle a flying… cat?" Her eyes widened as she recognized the dizzy cat that laid on her boyfriend's chest. The fighter chuckled as he did as well, removing the top from Puar's eyes. The shapeshifter suddenly gasped before cheering in delight as she rubbed up against her oldest friend's face.

"Yamcha! I missed you so much!" The man finally stood up as Puar continued to purr and rub her cheek against his.

"Settle down, Puar!" cried Yamcha. "That cheek's reserved for someone!" The cat floated backwards in confusion, only to turn and gasp as she saw the man's companion.

"Bulma! You're both here!" Puar then took a moment to rub her cheek against Bulma's left one, causing the genius to chuckle. "Milla's gonna be so happy to see you!" This declaration had the human couple grin at the cat.

"So she was in here the whole time!" Bulma's face turned dark as she raised a fist in anger. "If Oolong or that old pervert Roshi are trying to corrupt her with skimpy outfits I'll..." This had Puar giggling as she floated down to grab the two piece swimsuit she found. Once she had it, she floated back up to eye level while shaking her head.

"No silly! We'd never let either of them be here on Milla's special day!" The human duo looked at each other, shocked by the declaration.

"Special day?" questioned Yamcha. "We? What's going on? Is it her birthday or something?" Puar shook her head in denial again as she hummed thoughtfully.

"Not that I know of, but Milla's starting to develop into a young woman!" Bulma couldn't help but squeal in excitement, once again running in place. Yamcha looked between the two females as he curled his brow in confusion.

"Um… before I say something stupid, could someone please explain to me what that means? I'm a little lost and would rather not have my head beat with a frying pan." Bulma sent him a deadpanned look as she crossed her arms under her chest.

"Boys." grumbled the genius. "It means her breasts are growing in, Yamcha. It's not a period, otherwise she'd be at the doctor's office instead of here. If you don't know what a period is… I can't help you right now." The man suddenly cried out in understanding as he dropped his fist into his palm.

"I get it now! I guess that would be pretty big for girls." Bulma nodded her head, her face still displaying a frown as if the answer should have been obvious. Puar could only chuckle in embarrassment as she floated away from Yamcha a bit. She quickly shook her head as her grin returned.

"Yup! Miss Launch and I are helping her pick out training bras, panties, and all other kinds of older girl clothes. And get this! Milla actually agreed to try on some dresses!" The atmosphere in the building suddenly broke as Bulma's face turned from an expression of annoyance to one of shock.

"WHAT!? AND I'M MISSING IT!? I NEED PICTURES, OUTFIT INPUT, TO SEE IT WITH MY OWN EYES!" Yamcha backed away a bit out of fear, only for Bulma to grab his arm with a grip like a vice as she pointed at Puar. "Take me to her, now!"

Understanding Bulma's excitement, Puar giggled as she flew as fast as she could with the swimsuit she found in hand. Yamcha was actually being dragged along with a shocked and emasculated expression as Bulma followed as fast as she could. The whole situation left him confused and scared, reminding him to never doubt the power of an excited woman. He almost, almost, began to fear women again because of this. Thankfully Bulma finally stopped as she saw Puar fly towards the changing room with the swimsuit in hand.

"Just a second, Puar," hushed Launch. "You're just in time. Okay Milla! Do I need to come in there again? Remember the pose I taught you!" Her question was answered as the door to the room slammed open.

"Boom baby!" cheered Milla. She had her arms out to her sides as she was wearing a pink dress with black flowers depicted around her waist and at the bottom of the dress. Her hair was once again pulled back in a ponytail, making her look like a different person to those that only now saw her in this kind of outfit. The Saiyan suddenly tilted her head in confusion as she stood normally. "I still don't get why you wanted me to…"

The sound of squealing filled the air, cutting off Puar's own opinion of the outfit. Milla covered her ears, groaning in pain as she shook a bit. Yamcha immediately grabbed Bulma's arm as he shook her.

"Bulma, you're hurting her!" cried the fighter. "Stop!" The genius was immediately brought to her senses as she covered her mouth. Milla took a bit to stumble around a bit as she tried to let her hearing adjust again. She groaned as she rubbed her temples.

"Owie. Bulma, I know it looks pretty but is that a reason to…" Milla's eyes widened as she turned towards the new arrivals. She grinned as she suddenly ran with a sprint. "BULMA!" The genius suddenly began to wave her arms frantically, knowing exactly what was about to happen.

"Milla, wait!" cried Bulma. "I don't think I can…!" Her cries fell on deaf ears as Milla immediately leapt at her. Yamcha immediately joined her at her side as they both caught the monkey girl. Milla grinned from ear to ear as she hugged the duo.

"And Yamcha! You're both here!" Yamcha laughed as he began to return the gesture, only to suddenly lose his breath as the Saiyan began to tighten her grip on him. He and Bulma both began to gasp for air as their little friend squeezed tighter and tighter. He finally found the air to speak as he lightly patted Milla on her shoulder.

"Milla!" wheezed the warrior. "Air… Please!" Milla immediately gasped as she realized what she was doing. She released her friends as she dropped out of their grasp, allowing them to begin taking in much needed air.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry! It's just been too long and I was so excited! Please be okay!" Yamcha looked incredibly frightened as he took in a huge gulp of air.

'That hug nearly killed me! Taken out, by a little girl's affection! I need to be way stronger before I can ever hope to take her on now!' Bulma was the first to fully recover as she breathed out a sigh of relief. She had a nervous smile on her face as she waved her hands dismissively.

"We're fine!" reassured the genius. "We're excited to see you too! Isn't that right, Yamcha?" She suddenly elbowed her boyfriend in the ribs, causing him to cry out in pain. The concerned and sad look on Milla's face had him quickly nodding his head reassuringly.

Bulma immediately knew to deflect the situation as she immediately gestured to the monkey girl's outfit. "Look at you! All grown up and wearing big girl clothes! What happened to that little girl that would always cry 'NO! NO DRESSES!' when someone brought it up?" Milla had a small frown on her face for a second, knowing that it wasn't really alright, only to smile softly as she curtsied a bit with her dress.

"I kind of did yell that earlier, but Miss Launch told me that the dress you made me wear was just way too small for me," revealed the monkey girl. She then grinned as she fluffed it up a bit. "Now that I'm actually wearing my size, I love them so much! They're all flowy and they tickle my legs! They even came with a hole for my tail!"

She twirled around a bit, earning a coo from Bulma as the girl began taking pictures. All the attention was making Milla blush as she came to a stop. Launch smiled kindly as she nodded her head.

"You must be Bulma and Yamcha," greeted the woman. "Milla talks about you almost every day. I'm Launch. It's so nice to meet you." The newcomers smiled as Bulma nodded her head.

"It's nice to meet you too," greeted the bluenette as her boyfriend waved. "I just can't believe you actually got Milla to try on a dress! I tried before but she was always so stubborn." Milla frowned as she puffed her cheeks, not liking that she was being mentioned like she wasn't even there. Launch only chuckled in response as she shook her head.

"Oh she was no trouble at all. All she needed was to hear that dresses aren't usually tight and a promise to never make her try them on again if she didn't like them. Of course, we can all see how that turned out. Isn't that right, Milla?" The monkey girl smiled again as she scratched her cheek, giggling in embarrassment until she got an idea.

"Oh yeah!" cried Milla. "She should get to say hi too!" Bulma and Yamcha looked at her in confusion only for Launch to wave her hands in dismissal.

"T…that's okay Milla! She can always say hi when she wants to! Milla?" The monkey girl chuckled innocently as she prepared to jump. "Milla please don't…!" The monkey girl jumped up, quickly rubbing her tail across the bluenette's nose.

Launch took a few deep breaths, her expression scaring Bulma and Yamcha a bit. She suddenly stopped as she breathed a sigh of relief, Milla sounding her disappointment as she crossed her arms. "Milla, you can't just…" Blue Launch suddenly sneezed, vibrating as she turned into her blonde counterpart. Bulma and Yamcha jerked backwards in shock.

"What the…!?" cried Yamcha. He quickly stopped himself as he remembered that Milla was right there. "Mother… Hubbard!?" Blonde Launch took a few seconds to breathe as she shook her head. She put her hands on her hips as she glared down at Milla.

"Well that was rude, ya little monkey rat!" cried Launch. "Maybe ask a girl next time before ya make her sneeze? What? Ya think being a big girl means you can be a big meanie now?" Bulma frowned at this change in Launch's demeanor, only to turn that frown at Milla in order to act as the good cop in the situation.

"While I'll talk with Miss Launch about the name calling, Milla, that really was rude," added the genius. "You wouldn't like it if someone sprung that kind of prank on you, would you?" Milla became incredibly sheepish as she rubbed her arm, her frown being one of sadness.

"I'm sorry," apologized the Saiyan. "I just wanted Blonde to be able to say hi. It's not fair that she didn't get to talk." The Blonde woman sighed as she took a moment to breathe. She smiled mischievously as she rubbed the Saiyan atop her head.

"Just don't do it again, Kid!" laughed the woman. "I don't think Krillin would like ya as much if you started doing stuff like that all the time." Milla suddenly jerked a bit, paling as she got a sudden feeling. She slowly turned towards Bulma, quickly noticing that she had a similar smirk to Launch. Her adventure friend turned towards her with her hands on her hips.

"Krillin?" questioned Bulma. "Who's this Krillin, Milla?" The monkey girl tried to find the words to say as a blush formed on her face. The fact that she couldn't even say more about him made the situation even more embarrassing for her. She looked at Launch's wrist, gasping as she found a way to get out of answering.

"L… look at the time!" cried the Saiyan. "Master Roshi wants me back in time for my night time meditation and I wanna learn how to put on all that make-up stuff! I'm gonna get changed! Be right back!" She ran into the changing room, slamming the door safely behind her as she squealed into her hands. The scene actually had Bulma coo once again as she held her hands together.

"Well I thought I'd never see the day! Our little Monkey Princess has a crush! She's growing up before my own eyes! It's so adorable!" Milla ignored the fact that she was called "little" again as she began to change.

Bulma then turned her attention towards Launch as a small frown formed on her face. "So, are you just rude yourself now or are you a different person?" Blonde rolled her eyes as she groaned a bit.

"It's an allergy problem but a heck of a lot more of a headache," grumbled the woman. "Blue and I are basically stuck in the same head, but we both go by Launch. If one of us sneezes, the other takes over. As much as it is a pain, Blue is usually a ditz that scum try to take advantage of and I have to save every single time. And yes, Blue, you're a ditz!"

Bulma and Yamcha took a step back again, only for Blonde to wave them off. "We can hear everything the other hears. Anyway, let's just say before Milla and Krillin came along and found us I had to do some not so good things to get by. Life growing up with parents that wanted everything to be 'proper and normal' made things hard for us, and our condition doesn't usually make for good first impressions on the job, but Old Man Roshi couldn't care less." This had Bulma frown as she crossed her arms.

"So, you're living with that perv. Tell me, how does he treat you and Milla? He hasn't made Puar try to turn into anything indecent, has he?" The third question made Yamcha glare, only for Puar to shake her head with a smile. Blonde added to this as she held her hands behind her head.

"Until he heard Milla cry out about growing boobs he never really tried anything with her. He's a bit of a jerk though, but he did stop after she got sick in the middle of training. He has definitely tried to perv on Blue, but he's either been unsuccessful or I came out in time ta put him in his place. In the end he's not as bad as the life we had before. He actually got me an' Blue a pardon 'cause, like I said, not da best track record with our condition." Yamcha couldn't help but nod as he sent her a small smile.

"Milla has a way of setting people on the path to having a better life, when they want to, that is," stated the former bandit. "I was a bandit living off the land and others' misery before I ended up meeting her. Following her to have a better life got me in a situation where I could get my record clean too. In the end, I think we all have a certain monkey girl to thank for where we are now." The three girls nodded their heads, only for Milla to pop her head out from the changing room.

"Hey guys?" asked the monkey girl. Everyone in her group looked towards her with small smiles. "Can I… wear the dress out of the store? I wanna see what the others think when we get back. Maybe we could even try out the makeup stuff on the way back?" Bulma smiled as she nodded her head.

"That's perfectly fine, Milla," revealed the genius. "You'll just need to hand us the tags for everything you're wearing from here. As far as the makeup thing goes, we'll fly you guys back in my plane so that Launch can apply some for you. That way I get to see where you're training now, and you get to look good for your little friend." Milla blushed at the implications Bulma sent her way, earning a chuckle from Launch as the woman took the swimsuit from Puar.

"We'll also keep da receipt in case you end up not liking these," added the blonde. "That way we can take it back or exchange it later." Milla smiled before dipping back into the room. Inside, she was blushing as she heard everything the others said about her. Having had a moment to reflect on this, she quickly began to work on the tags of her current outfit.

Back at Kame House, Krillin was doing some personal exercises while wearing the Turtle School shell. Today was supposed to be a day of rest, though he couldn't help but do these small things on his own time. He felt like he was still falling behind Milla when it came to their training, meaning he had to take in every small moment he could without undoing his improvements from Master Roshi's training. He was currently doing push-ups, imagining Milla's smiling face as he continued to push his current record.

"Oh, hey Milla!" greeted the voice of Oolong. Krillin suddenly gasped as he tried to get up, only to fall onto his front. He rapidly moved his arms and legs to try and find a good stance to push himself up with, earning a bout of laughter from Oolong. The monk growled as he finally found the right moment to sit up as he growled.

"Very funny, Porky!" growled Krillin. "I bet you'd be a shoo-in for a comedy act." Oolong walked over with his hands in his pockets, a nonchalant smirk on his face.

"Hey, it gets boring when the girls aren't around and there's only so many exercise videos a guy can enjoy," began the pig. "Figured I'd mess with you some, especially since you're trying to buff up for my little friend." Krillin blushed as he looked away with a huff.

"It's called trying not to be left in the dust by my rival. It's something that I don't need a walking party trick commenting on." Krillin was about to get back to working out some more, only for Oolong to laugh even harder.

"No matter what species a guy is, we're always the same! You're just trying to work out long enough for her to get back and catch you doing it! It makes sense though, seeing as she likes strong guys. It'd probably work to get her eyes on you." Krillin suddenly grinned at the pig as he leaned forwards a bit.

"Really!? You think so!?" He suddenly cleared his throat as he looked away. "I mean…" Oolong grinned evilly as he crossed his arms.

"I wonder, though, what she'll do if she sees someone much stronger than you." This caused Krillin to glare at him, the pig not caring as he actually took out a cigar to smoke. "When she sees that compared to these guys at the tournament yer nothing more than a player that thinks he's in the big leagues, will she still like you or will she drop you like a bad habit? Let me make one thing clear to you, Acorn Boy. Even in my time at shapeshifter school, I saw many guys that are ten times more than you are right now."

Oolong threw the cigarette onto the ground and stomped it before turning his attention back towards the monk. "They're even a hundred times worth more than me, as much as I hate to admit it. If you think you've got a shot with the girl that made a stubborn pig like me start looking at his life in a new way, you better be strong in body, soul, and character. And if you hurt her… let's just say this piggie ain't no angel."

Oolong shapeshifted into his dragon form, towering over Krillin as the boy scooted backwards a bit. "The others won't be able to get to you first. I think you can guess the rest. We got an understanding, boy?" Krillin slowly nodded his head, gulping as sweat poured down his body.

"I… I understand." Satisfied with this answer, Oolong turned back to normal as he did a little stretch. He walked away from Krillin, allowing the boy to breathe as he was holding it all in. The monk took a few more breaths before frowning in thought. He began to reflect on his life leading up to today, holding his hand over his face.

He sighed as he rubbed his palm down his face. His self-loathing was cut off by the sound of an arriving air vehicle. He became wary of it as he stood up, only to see Launch doing something in the back window. Putting what Oolong said to him in the back of his mind for now, he quickly ran over to meet with the others. "Hey Milla! How was your…"

The boy skidded to a halt as the door to the vehicle opened. His heart nearly leaped out of his chest as he saw Milla in the pink dress she wore at the end of her shopping spree. She was also wearing a light red blush, bubblegum pink lipstick, and light red eyeshadow. The way her face was on full display made Krillin naturally blush as he grabbed at his chest. Milla suddenly gasped as she jumped down from the vehicle, running to meet up with the boy.

"Are you okay, Krillin!?" cried the Saiyan. "Are you having a heart attack!? I can get you the medicine from the house if it'll help!" Krillin tried to think of something to say, even more aroused by how close the girl was to him. His eyes widened as a thought replayed in his head.

'If you think you've got a shot with the girl that made a stubborn pig like me start looking at his life in a new way, you better be strong in body, soul, and character,' replayed the voice of Oolong in his head. While it was a memory that made him feel a bit somber, it did bring him back to his senses. He quickly shook his head as he sent her a smile.

"I… I'm good!" cried the monk. "It's just… you look… whoa." He mentally kicked himself for not thinking of more to say, only to watch as Milla blushed as she rubbed her arm.

"Thanks. Launch talked me into wearing dresses and I really like it. I…" Milla stopped in her tracks, something that actually began to scare Krillin. That was until he felt a familiar warmth around his waist.

He looked down to see that her tail had wrapped around him again. It had become a bit of a normal sight for him ever since they found time to hang out together. He smiled as he placed a hand on Milla's shoulder.

"Looks like your tail wants to say hi. Ever find out what that…" His words died once again as Milla began to blush some more.

"Krillin, please tell me you have a pocket with something stiff in it." The boy looked confused by the question, only to pale as he realized that her tail was bumped out a bit more than usual. Terrified by being caught in this state, he gently removed her tail from him as he patted it lightly.

"I'm… going inside to wash up. You really do… look nice." Krillin awkwardly walked back towards Kame House, feeling that he had no dignity left. Milla lightly held the area the boy had patted, biting her lip a bit as that was the action that brought about her own odd feeling. The others were out of the vehicle as Bulma podded it up, Yamcha rubbing Milla's head.

"Hey," called Yamcha. "You good, kid?" Milla suddenly jerked as she released her tail, turning towards Yamcha as she chuckled with her hands behind her back.

"I'm good!" cried the Saiyan. "I just… haven't heard him call me pretty before!" She chuckled nervously again, rubbing her legs together a bit like she was doing a childish dance. Yamcha looked at her a bit, making her worried that he didn't buy her story. His sudden teasing face didn't help anything, only for him to rub the top of her head.

"So Bulma was right! You do have a crush on the kid! That's kinda adorable!" Milla laughed awkwardly as she noticed Launch and Bulma walking towards her. Thankfully for her, Master Roshi walked out of the house.

"Hey there!" cried the old master. "Is that Bulma I see!? We should be having lunch soon so come on in! Wait… Is that dolled up girl Milla!?" The monkey girl turned around, doing her best not to show her current situation as she waved at the master.

"Hey Master Roshi!" cheered the monkey girl. "It's me!" The old man chuckled as he shook his head.

"I barely recognized you! You really are becoming a young lady! I'd go ahead and get ready for meditation tonight so…" Milla immediately grabbed the clothes bag from Launch as she ran for Kame House, nearly causing her master to fall over as she slammed the door. Bulma and Launch crossed their arms, Bulma having a small smile on her face.

"I think we both know why she's so eager to get inside," commented the genius. "She must be becoming a young woman in the other way too." Launch nodded her head, only for Yamcha to turn towards them with his head tilted in confusion.

"What?" questioned the warrior. "Am I missing something again?" This caused the human girls to laugh at him while Puar rolled her eyes. "What? It's a serious question guys?"

Inside, Milla groaned inside the bathroom. She was thankful that Krillin had found his way out of there in the midst of her conversation with the others, meaning that there was hopefully no one to hear her in this state. She found that nothing Launch told her about would help her feel better, sometimes even making it worse. She had finally found her solution, however, when she brushed her tail in the midst of throwing one of her new feminine products across the room. It was only after rubbing her tail for a short time that she finally relieved herself of that feeling.

She finally flushed the toilet as she left the restroom, wearing her new exercise outfit. She was also wearing her turtle shell in preparation for if the master made her fight the moon monster with it on. As much as she trusted the old man, she wouldn't put it past him to do something like that. She was about to go downstairs when she heard a buzzing in her ear. She grinned from ear to ear as she heard a familiar voice materialize.

"Keira!" cried the hushed voice of Raditz. "She better not have broken it!" The monkey girl quickly ran to her room and silently closed the door, looking through the crack to make sure no one saw her. She fumbled the scouter a bit as she moved it to her ear. She gave herself time to adjust to a high pitch noise before she nodded her head.

"I'm here, Raditz!" silently cheered the monkey girl. "I missed you! You didn't answer me for two whole months! Where were you!?" This earned her a subdued hearty laugh from her elder brother.

"Oh great, you sound like Mother now. The pod put me in cryo-sleep for the journey to the closest outpost. I then couldn't find time to contact you again until we got settled in. I should be able to keep regular contact for a while longer." Milla grinned from ear to ear at this news.

"Yay! I had so many questions that I wanted answered!" She heard a hum of acknowledgement from him, only to take a few breaths.

"You sound short of breath, Keira. I can only assume that this master of yours has been working you to the bone like our last conversation." Milla shook her head in denial, blushing a bit at being called out.

"Nah. He gave me time to adjust so I wouldn't get sick again. Let's just say my training pal, Krillin, accidentally brushed my tail. Since I'm finally growing into a young woman, at least that's how Launch keeps saying it, it made me feel all awkward." She suddenly heard a much louder laugh from her brother, causing her to shush him as she looked back towards the door to her room.

"You let a mere lower species touch your tail and it aroused you! That's the most hilarious thing I've ever heard!" Milla scowled as she looked in the direction of the scouter, her tail wagging violently.

"Krillin is NOT a lower species! I don't know exactly what that means, but don't insult him!" This earned her silence from her brother, as if he were thinking on her words. She began to worry that he was mad at her or that she hurt his feelings. She heard an annoyed groan from her brother, breaking the silence.

"Keira, you have begun evaluating this 'Kuririn' as a potential mating candidate, haven't you?" Milla tilted her head, confused about what he meant. "If your caretaker has truly left you that daft, I'm asking if you're thinking about producing offspring with him." This Milla had a better understanding of, blushing as she remembered Launch's "Birds and Bees'' talk. Believing that she could trust Raditz, she slowly nodded her head.

"M…maybe. He was a bit mean at first but he takes training very seriously. He's also really nice to me and he's one of the closest friends I ever had. This whole romance love thing just leaves me confused." This earned her a hard huff from her brother.

"So it's one of those 'romance' species. Keira, it makes complete sense why it would confuse you. Saiyans do not usually feel the same kind of love and romance as such a species. You literally described our method of finding a mate, ensuring that they are strong in the ways that count and that they can be depended on not to stab us in the back. As a female saiyan, you are looking for a male that can protect you when you are vulnerable and is potentially stronger than yourself unless you are the dominating type."

Milla thought about this process before nodding her head. "Romance, as other species describe it, is a choice that saiyans can make in their relationships, though we are still unable to feel it. The only outliers are our mother and yourself, but even then you cannot entirely feel what other species can more easily comprehend when it comes to such emotions. For Saiyans as a whole, romance and love are a learned emotion, one that those who desire it must use our instincts to fill the gaps." Milla nodded her head again, actually getting it this time.

"I think I actually get it. I was raised by Grandpa to love others so I guess love just comes easier to me." This earned her a hum of understanding from Raditz.

"Good. However, I will advise you to not get attached to this fling of yours." Milla's eyes widened at this, her scowl returning once again.

"Okay, I know what that word means. What makes you think it'll be just a fling?" This earned her a sigh.

"Keira, you have no guarantee if you are even biologically compatible with this Kuririn. Whatever the dominant species of that planet is, it is highly possible a hybrid is not even possible. It could very well be a dead end. Usually Saiyans would let each other fall for this kind of thing when they're young but, as we are related and I have unfortunately picked up your and Mother's learned trait of familial attachment, I am trying to save you from such a fate." Milla huffed as she leaned up a bit.

"If this stupid species thing is a problem, I'll just fix it! It should be easy." This earned her a groan from the other side of the system.

"Keira, please tell me I don't have to explain what a species is to you. This is basic inter…" Her brother was cut off as a knocking was heard at the door.

"Milla!" cried the voice of Puar. "Come on down for lunch! Launch made something special!" Milla gasped, not realizing how long her talk with Raditz had gone on for. She nodded her head in response.

"I'll be down in a second!" cried the Saiyan girl. She waited for Puar to leave before putting the scouter back up to her ear. "Gotta go, Raditz! Love you!" Her brother tried to stop her from hanging up, but she quickly put the scouter back in the shoe box before sliding it into its hiding spot.

She then ran downstairs, thankful that she had time to calm herself down. She was nearly at the bottom step, only for her eyes to widen as she saw Grandpa Gohan standing by the kitchen table. On said table was a small gift box wrapped in rice paper. It was clear that her development since his departure surprised him, especially since she had neglected to remove her makeup. He smiled nonetheless as he held out his arms.

"There's my little granddaughter!" cried the elderly man. "Come give yer grandpa a hug!" Milla grinned from ear to ear as she leapt towards the man.

"Grandpa!" Gohan caught her as best as he could, but it was clear that old age and her own growth made it much harder for him as he spun her around to try and lessen the strain. He set her down, surprised as she was nearly at the level of his mustache in height.

"Yer growing up way too fast for my liking! I miss the days where I could carry you in my arms!" Milla giggled, unaware of the small glare Roshi was sending his former student.

"I'm so glad you could stop by! What's going on!?" Gohan huffed in surprise as he gestured to the gift on the table.

"Why, don't tell me you've forgotten! It's your birthday! My little girl is now 12 years old… or was it 13?" Milla giggled as she walked over to her present, waiting for the go ahead. "Well don't wait on me! Go for it!"

The Saiyan immediately tore off the paper before pulling the lid off the box. She gasped as she immediately reached inside. She pulled out a near exact replica of her original gi, only it was slightly bigger than before.

"My gi! You made a new one!" Gohan scratched the back of his head as he chuckled in embarrassment.

"It might be a bit small on you since I didn't expect you to grow so much! You were always such a tiny thing!" Milla growled as a vein popped up on her head.

"I may have been tiny when I was a baby, but I am not little now. I'm becoming a young woman, Grandpa. My friends helped me find nice dresses that I ACTUALLY like, I'm wearing makeup right now, and I'm even growing boobies and need training bras. I'm not little." Gohan looked like he was about to continue the conversation in a way that would go south, only for Roshi to tap his staff against the ground.

"We can ALL see that, Milla," reassured the Turtle Hermit. "Why not dress into something more appropriate for nightly meditation? It's supposed to be rather chilly tonight and I don't want you getting sick again." Milla took a deep breath in order to control her anger, carefully folding the gi under her arm as she stomped up the stairs. As soon as she slammed the door shut, which nearly sent a glass cup on the counter falling onto the ground, Gohan sent an inquisitive and judgmental look towards his master.

"It appears that we are having a late lunch on this fine afternoon," observed the man. "Can I inquire as to where and when you plan on training MY granddaughter?" Roshi tightened his grip on his cane as he leveled a glare at the Son Patriarch.

"I am giving her the training she needs, in the place she very much needs it. I have been helping her to meditate and focus on herself, and she has been doing wonders under the moonlight." The tension thickened as Gohan tensed.

"Seems like a dreadful time to have her training at night, being her birthday and all. Perhaps if you let her sleep on this, the 12th year of her life." Bulma suddenly stood up from her place on the nearby couch, glaring at the old man as she crossed her arms under her bosom.

"And you were so unsure of her age only a few moments ago," commented the genius. "Sounds to me like you tease her about her age and appearance every chance you get." Krillin walked out from the other side of the counter, still not tall enough to reach the top to be visible.

"Not to mention it confuses her on how old she actually is," added the monk. "Sounds to me like she doesn't even know what year she was born." Gohan let loose a rare growl as he began to walk towards the boy.

"You stay out of this child," threatened the recluse. "This is a private matter that none of you should even be…" Roshi immediately stood between his former student and his current one, shocking Krillin by how fast he moved with his shell still on.

"Do not lose yourself, Gohan," threatened Roshi. "Must I remind you that I will do anything, anything, to ensure the safety of my students and everyone in this very building? The same can be said for their development. Let's just say someone told me of a development you've been keeping Milla from making." Gohan glared towards Puar and Oolong, the pig of the duo making rude gestures while sticking his tongue out, before turning his attention back towards Roshi.

"What have you done? What have you been making my little girl do!?" Roshi slammed his staff hard into the ground, the force pushing both Gohan and Krillin away from him. Krillin thankfully didn't go very far while Gohan was able to catch himself. The Turtle Hermit's sunglasses were also busted by the move, the old man removing the object to reveal a glare that made everyone uncomfortable.

"Weigh the consequences of your next words very carefully, Son Gohan. Milla is not your little girl anymore. She's becoming more capable than you could ever imagine, surpassing you when you were her age by far. That is why… I have been teaching her meditation in preparation to control the beast inside of her." The fury in Gohan's eyes could not compete with the cold threat in Roshi's, though it was clear he would not back down.

"I forbid it! I gave you my one rule, Roshi!" Yamcha stood up beside Bulma, also making sure he was close to her just in case.

"A rule that has clearly made her scared of her own shadow when it comes to the Full Moon!" cried the former bandit. "She can't live like this forever!" Launch immediately pulled out two of her machine guns as she aimed them around the room.

"Someone better start explaining what the HFLL is going on!" roared the blonde. "What's this about Milla being a monster or something!? And you're telling me none of you told her!" She aimed one of her weapons at Oolong and Puar, causing them to hold up their hands in defense. "DID YOU TWO KNOW?!" Oolong squealed in fear before pointing towards Roshi.

"He told us to wait until he had her prepared for the real training!" cried the little pig. "He was probably gonna tell her tonight!" Krillin pushed past Roshi, a growl deep in his throat.

"How could you keep this from her without even trying to help her learn to control it!?" cried the monk. "Even at the Orin Temple we're taught to control our emotions in order to think through any situation logically! Apparently that's too much for an old has-been like you to even think about! You need to stop treating her like a toddler when she's clearly ready to move on without you!" The fury in Gohan's eyes grew stronger, his age addled mind making him see red as his body began to move on its own. Roshi reached out to try and stop the man.

"GOHAN!" cried the Turtle Hermit. "STOP BEFORE YOU CANNOT GO BACK!" Krillin realized too late that he made a grave mistake. His life flashed before his eyes, every lie he told and cheat he ever performed appearing like red stains on his conscience. He was brought back to the present as Gohan threw a speeding hook.

"YOU BRAT!" The sound of a resounding smack and cracking bone filled the air. Bulma held her hands to her mouth as Launch actually dropped her weapons. Krillin blinked multiple times, watching as a familiar blue headband stained red flew by his face. Milla stood in between him and Gohan, the outcome of the attack that hit her straight in the head unclear as blood also hit her rather tight fitting gi. Krillin's pupils narrowed in utter shock.

"MILLA!" cried the acorn boy. A cry of pain followed, but it was neither of Roshi's current students. Gohan took a few steps back, grabbing his hand as it was contorted in a way that was unnatural and wrong. Yamcha grabbed at his mouth, doing his best not to vomit at the scene. Milla growled as her eyes had a tint of red, her famous red lightning beginning to crackle around her fists.

"You… YOU LIED TO ME!" roared the Saiyan. The lightning flowed around her like a barrier, causing the electronics in the immediate room to go haywire. "YOU TOLD ME THAT I WAS KNOCKED OUT BY THE MOON MONSTER! I… I KILLED YOU!" Gohan tried to find the strength to fire back at her, only her pressure actually put the fear of Kami into him.

"W…What was I supposed to do!?" cried the old man. "You would never listen to me when I tried to teach you discipline on that front!" Oolong raised his fist as he growled.

"That's no excuse!" cried the pig. Milla suddenly threw her fist to the side, nearly hitting his hooved hand as the force of her attack put a precise hole in the wall. She glared at him, as well as everyone in that area in the room.

"SHUT UP!" roared the enraged Saiyan. "YOU'RE NO BETTER, HAM! ALL OF YOU KNEW THE TRUTH AFTER THE NIGHT IN THE DUNGEON, AND YOU LIED TO MY FACE! HAS EVERYTHING I'VE EVER KNOWN BEEN A LIE!? TELL ME!"

She turned her furious eyes towards Roshi, only to falter slightly. "WERE YOU ACTUALLY GOING TO TELL ME TONIGHT!?" Roshi was about to speak, only to notice that Gohan was glaring again. He tried to gesture a hidden hand at the man to shut his mouth, fearing what would happen if Milla were to hear the whole truth. Gohan had clearly gone off the deep end, however, as his fury returned.

"Do not believe a word he says!" roared the old coot. "He lost most of my trust years ago! It was clear the last time I saw him that he was planning to give up the search for your real…" Gohan was stopped in the middle of his sentence as a red lightning bolt rose from Milla, tearing a hole in the roof and setting it on fire. She slowly turned towards him, her pupils nearly gone.

"REAL... WHAT?" growled the now frightening girl. She stomped towards him, her feet leaving burn marks on the floor like when she was sick. "TELL ME THE TRUTH! NOW! HAS MY WHOLE LIFE BEEN A LIE!?" Gohan, under the immense weight of his guilt, slowly caved.

"I… I found a little girl in the woods 8 years ago. I raised her as my own, using the day I found her as her birthday. I found a large round machine that had many things in it, including what looked like weaponry. I couldn't let the little girl who I had come to love, the one who had no memory of who she was, become a monster. I used much of my power to destroy the evidence, including the armor I found her in, to where I lowered my life span."

Milla's eyes widened even further than before, flashbacks of watching a man's blurred face working on something. The face became clearer as her little body was kept from seeing what it was. By the time she was old enough to stand in the flashbacks, the man's face was clear as day. It was her father, the man who her mind wanted to scream "Papa" to. The armor was one of the last things he had ever given her before… before…

Milla grabbed at her head, pain coursing through it as the lightning changed hue to an even darker red. Gohan, not seeing the danger, tried to reach out for her. "Milla, everything I did was to protect you! The only kind of people who would send their child to fight a war with a peaceful world like ours are…" Milla finally looked up, her tears looking like magma from the glow that now turned her entire body different hues of red.

"MONSTERS!? GO AHEAD AND SAY IT! YOU ONLY SEE ME AS THE MONSTER INSIDE, DON'T YOU!? YOU DESTROYED EVERYTHING THAT I HAD LEFT, TO KEEP ME WEAK AND CONFUSED, AND YOU CLAIM MY FAMILY TO BE MONSTERS!?" Bulma reached out a shaking hand, trying to reach out to her like before.

"Milla, please calm down," requested the genius. "We can still talk about this…" Milla didn't even bother looking at Bulma, her mind being made up in her rage filled state.

"NO! NEVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN! SON MILLA WAS A LIE! I KNOW WHO I AM NOW, EVEN IF I DON'T REMEMBER EVERYTHING! SON MILLA IS DEAD, AND YOU ALL KILLED HER!"

The outfit that represented 8 years of her life burned away as she was left almost in the nude, her white undershirt and pink gi pants being all that remained as it threatened to turn to ashes. "I AM KEIRA, WARRIOR OF THE SAIYANS! DAUGHTER OF BARDOCK AND GINE! MY BROTHER WAS RIGHT ABOUT ALL OF YOU WHEN I FOUND OUT THE SCOUTER WORKS! THE PEOPLES OF EARTH ARE ALL LOWER SPECIES THAT WILL LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL TO GET WHATEVER THEY WANT!"

The others around her began to become even more frightened, only those who had been there for sick days being able to connect the name Raditz with when she asked for "Ditz." "AS SOON AS HE FINDS HIS WAY HERE, I AM LEAVING THIS MISERABLE MUDBALL TO WHATEVER FATE BEFALLS IT! I… I HATE YOU ALL!" She suddenly shot her fist towards the wall to her right, vaporizing it with a ball of pure energy. She stomped towards the new opening as a storm began to brew, Krillin being the only one able to move as he got as close as he could with the pressure his rival was giving off.

"WAIT!" cried the boy. "STOP!" Milla… No… Keira stopped as she looked back at the boy, Krillin grunting as he looked her in the eye. "Please." Her energy faltered a bit, revealing teal eyes as her tears also had the same color.

"Krillin… goodbye." She suddenly leapt away from the building, creating a shockwave that broke every glass object on this floor. The Saiyan almost looked like she was traveling through the clouds as a lightning bolt before landing in the forest. Rain began to pour as the night began to set in. For the first time in his life, Krillin let tears roll down his face without a care who would see them.

"MILLA!"

…Even I didn't expect how hard this chapter would go. And I'm the one who wrote the chapter. I can't even give a breakdown of the chapter at this point. This story might need a new name depending on how things progress from here. Sadly, what happens next will have to wait until March as the update period has closed for now.

I'll ask you to please bear with me as I put this system in place to avoid burnout in my stories and better time management. When this story does come back, things will get back on track after this event is over. Now that I've done this, I have to see it through to its end. It's like I'm a reader of my own story, the possibilities exciting me further. Please look forward to what I come up with for the story when it returns in 2024.

What did you think about the chapter? Do you think the others will be able to find her in time? Will anything be the same? Let me know what you think down below and I'll try to respond ASAP. This is Inkaliber, signing out.
