Sirius in Love

Hermione nodded, surprised at Sirius' words "My brother, Regulus, had named him, hoping to keep him, but my Mom said Begonia was enough. I hope to bring his sister here." Sirius would never look at another witch after that day, worrying Lucius.

Hermione went back to sit by Lucius, amazed. When she turned the kitten belly up, she saw the cross marking, and recognized it. It was her beloved Kneazle, what a gift. She stood, ran to Sirius and kissed him again, both cheeks. James and Remus elbowed Sirius who was floating on a high cloud after the small friendly pecks. Peter grumbled, saying she wasn't so special. Though many were wishing she had kissed them, lucky Gryffindor, many said.

Sebus sat near his niece, keeping his wand ready. Not that he needed it, but all the wolves had them, they enhanced their powers as well. That was why the attackers had frozen their wands. He kept sniffing the air, it smelled odd. His kind, and a few others, could smell demons, they had a peculiar smell. But the smell was faint. He stood up and walked around. The smell was subtle, yet he singled out the origin, it came from the Gryffindor, from the one they didn't like. What if he already had a demon \attached to him?

"Pettigrew can you help me here?" Sebus stood by a table and called him. Remus stood up, noticing Peter's face. He was grumbling and mumbling that he wasn't a House-elf.

"I will help," Remus and several others offered, but Peter stayed sitting. James was furious, and he also stood to help. The help was to distribute small boxes with biscuits and such. They all had a little pin for their satchels, a small blue broom with the couple's initials on the tiny handle. The charmed pin was made with grass that only grew at the Fortress, and the stick was made out of valuable and magical petrified wood.

Sebus could have distributed the boxes with magic, but at the Fortress many things were done manually, to stay fit and improve their manual skills.

"For those who wonder why I chose not to use magic, I will explain. My family was attacked once. The ones who came took our wands away, and we were defenseless, sadly many died that day. Since then, we all trained, not only playing Quidditch and dueling, but also learning to use enhanced Muggle weapons and defense practices. I will be offering instruction on the use of enhanced weapons, and fighting techniques adapted for Magical use. See me to sign up for it." Sebus told them. It was true, at the Fortress they used bows, arrows, swords, knives, and Asian weapons.

Sebum remembered the wolves from Japan, China and Korea; they taught them much. Because of them, they could fight as wolves and as humans. They didn't need wands, but enhanced weapons were as deadly. And if their wolves were frozen, they could kill their enemies with their bare hands. The Japanese wizards also gave them a dragon egg that Lear froze for the time being. He wasn't so sure they wanted a dragon, but maybe it would be useful at a later time. Though they insisted he would accept it; they said it was destined for one special wolf, and they knew it would be one of his. They told him a tale of a Japanese Wizard, and how the egg would wake up, no matter what, when the time was right.

Hermione was remembering an old book she had read at the Hogwarts library. It was about a Japanese hero who had a pure heart. She remembered. Many wizards had tried to kill a demon who murdered and ate young Magical children, feeding on them and their magic. The wizards tried to send it back, but the demon seemed indestructible. The hero trained for a year and a day with a Master Samurai Wizard who gave him a gift, a dragon egg. One day, a couple years later, when the young hero Wizard saw the demon, the hero seemed to fly. He easily decapitated the demon with a sword he had enchanted. The sword burnt the head and body at the same time. Immediately, a magical wind gathered all the ashes and emptied them into a box, prepared just for this. Then the hero summoned his dragon and flew on his pet, to scatter the ashes over the oceans. And the young Dragon breathed its fire on the ashes as they fell. They flew everywhere, all around the world.

The quest took him a long time, and his family worried. Finally, the dragon burned the box into ashes and the ashes were also scattered. It would be millions of years before the demon could be whole again, but the likelihood that ever happen was minimal. The hero and his Dragon rested along the way back to Japan. Some said a friend of the demon found them, cursed the dragon, and turned him into a monster that nobody wanted around, so the dragon had to hide. The hero forever mourned his dragon and died without ever seeing it again. But it was said the dragon was changed into an egg for another chance, when his dead friend interceeded for him. Hermione had read it was a true story with a sad ending, and she used to cry when she read it. She had talked about with the Weasley. And it turned out the older Weasley had read the book.

Thinking about this, she also thought of the Ninja and Asian fighters Muggle movies she had seen, she raised her hand, "Uncle, count me in." Lucius also wanted to learn. When they heard her, many wizards and witches wanted to attend the class.

Lucius teased her, "My warrior witch, so you think you will need to…" he stopped, remembering she had fought a war and had nearly died. "Never mind, I also want to learn."

Of course, Peter thought that it was an insult directed to him because he wasn't as fit as his mates. Regardless, he didn't go to help. When he opened the box, he threw the small broom on the ground, breaking it when he thought nobody was looking; he would step on it later. As for the biscuits, he kept them, and ate them in one gulp.

When everyone had their boxes, to include Hagrid, Sebus stood with his wand and said, "Naevi scopas avolavit," meaning, blue brooms fly away, and the little brooms flew above each one of the guests. The names of everyone, written inside a circle with the Malfoy seal, appeared on the air. The broken broom flew in two pieces, and started displaying Peter Pe…, but fell on the ground, turning into dust. Sebus noticed, as well as others did. Others who would take action. He was Mimi's uncle, and nobody would cross them,

"Everyone can present the broom at several establishments in Diagon Alley. You will get the list the moment when you visit the Alley; it will appear in your hand. Present your broom and claim your gifts, you will like them. Keep the broom on you, don't lose it. It is a gift from me in honor of Mimi, my beloved niece and my nephew Lucius," he grinned, and everyone applauded. The brooms would make them be loyal to his niece, plus granting other gifts. The biscuits had a charm of loyalty as well.

Sirius was going to kill Peter; he had seen what Peter had done, though he wasn't the only one who had noticed.

Most of those at the picnic were happy about their good luck; there would be a week of celebrations for the Malfoy heir's wedding for everyone, maybe some for only the Slytherin, plus the Malfoy were teaching at Hogwarts. Most were glad but not Peter; now he was sore because his broom had turned into dust, and he wouldn't be able to claim his gifts. Almost all Slytherin were there except Narcissa and her friends who were invited with everyone else but didn't go.

Lucius wanted to return to their room before his father and her father were back. In his mind he was still at the door with her. "When we leave, let's go to our room before they come back." He whispered.

She nodded, "I was thinking the same thing. But I wonder if my owls will like my baby." She worried, petting Crosshanks that had climbed to stand on her shoulder.

Lucius smiled, "Only one my love, either Mina or Hera, choose. I think they both like you. They get along with all the enemies. None dare to cross them; they have hidden powers."

Hermione twisted her lips and clicked her tongue, "We can share them," she proposed. Her uncle heard and winked at his smart niece; if she were a true Greyback she was planning to keep them both. He remembered the horrible fights with Fenrir. Both wanted the same things, and they would fight as wolves; but Fenrir was the baby, and Sebus was the one punished. He was right, Hermione wasn't planning to share them; as far as she was concerned, let the girls choose.

"We'll see." Lucius answered, best not to fight.

It wasn't long before it started raining, and they went in. James grabbed Peter's robe, "Behave like this once more, and you will not be with us." The demon had to jump out Peter's pocket since he wasn't invited into Hogwarts, but he knew who Peter was. He was glad the charmed broom had turned into dust; it smelled of danger. But why did the young wizard feel different. Sirius caught up with them.

Peter argued, "I am not his house-elf. Why did he call me, because I am poor?"

"Idiot, because he wants to be your friend," Remus offered, "but you blew it." Mild manner Remus also had it.

Sirius was also angry, "You embarrass us once more, and best find other friends. I saw what what you did with the gift. I think we must vote if we should unfriend you right now."

Remus nodded. "Let's, I don't like how you are behaving. Frankly, you behaved boorishly. It embarrassed me. Slytherin noted and were angry. At the very least, stay away from us for a couple of days, apologize to the Professor, and we will see." Remus wanted a father, and maybe he would have none if he stayed friends with Peter.

Sebus was catching up with them. He was irritated at Peter, mostly because he ignored him in front of the students, and the charmed broom bit. "Pettigrew, you will go with me to the headmaster's office before dinner. I will come for you. I wanted you to feel part of the group, after I noticed that you are shy. But if you have a problem with me, let's talk about it with the headmaster. Besides, you should know that rejecting the gift was a personal insult; I bought the gifts." The smell was mostly gone, meaning a demon had hidden in Pettigrew's clothes earlier. He wanted Peter away from his niece; he would talk to Fenrir.

James, Sirius, and Remus walked fast, staying away from Peter. They were furious. Peter was wondering if he had made a mistake and walked looking at the ground, so he didn't see two Slytherin following him as he fell behind. Peter could still change, but it would take a lot from him.

Meanwhile, Lucius and Hermione were walking fast. She claimed to have a headache. When they turned a corner, they saw a ghostly figure. He put a finger to his mouth and pointed at an empty room. "Later, not now, come by our room later."

The ghost nodded and went into a wall. He had an invitation to go into the Slytherin house.

"Who was that?" Lucius asked.

"I don't know, his uniform is from not so long ago, a Ravenclaw. Something looked familiar. We should go to the library, later." Hermione held Lucius' hand, "Hurry up." The shadow that had been following, hurried with them. The tiny Kneazle purred feeling the shadow, sniffing the air, a very nice smell indeed, a nice spicy smell. A second shadow decided, she was the one; it was time to act. His friend deserved a new chance; besides she would need his friend's help to fight the demon and the evil wizard. He was allowed to come and search. The shadow grinned after seeing the scary monster in love with the young witch and thought she was the perfect choice, because she probably was a higher being, and many monsters acted like kittens around them, or like nasty guarding dogs. Poor the imbecil who tried to hurt this witch, or any of the ones she cared for.

Hermione sniffed the air, "It smells like an awful creature who hurt me in the future, but, recently, it licked me. Maybe I am changed and now it likes me?" She shivered, "Anyway, I hope I never see it again."

"When was that?" Lucius was distressed she was seeking danger.

Peter

The two tall Slytherin pulled Peter into an empty classroom; Peter was scared and about to cry. "You better listen, be nasty to the Malfoy once more, and you will not like what happens. Mrs. Malfoy is protected by many of us, so don't even try. We are keeping an eye on you, and we are not alone."

Peter noticed he couldn't see their faces since they were using a concealment charm. One said, "You stink of a nasty something," he sneezed twice and coughed a couple of times.

"Go and remember." One grabbed Peter's arm and pushed him out the room, hard, hurting him. Peter realized he was protected when he was with his friends. Now, he was alone. He wanted to cry, what had he done? He wished he hadn't been so ugly. He lost a chance for nice presents; and now he thought Mrs. Malfoy was a good witch. He could have liked her; he was now sure.

He wondered if he could apologize; if he were given the chance, he would mean it. He already missed his friends. Often, he thought his father was wrong, his uncle had said so. His uncle, his mother's brother, still worked for the Pucey, was doing very well financially, and didn't talk to his brother-in-law. He said Peter's father was lucky the Pucey hadn't sent him to Azkaban. He told Peter not to believe his parents, adding someone else would have sent him to Azkaban. Hmm, maybe the professor would hear him? He had an idea, telling the truth for starters. And he would keep an eye to make sure Mrs. Malfoy was safe.

The Dark Lord and the Horcrux

The Dark Lord thanked them when they came with the Horcrux, "Abraxas, I will tell you later what this is. By tomorrow all the Dark Marks will be nothing more than faded Magical tattoos. Please tell your son's wife that I am working on changing. However, I have a problem since I cannot find things I lost." He despaired; he meant the Horcruxes, "Tell her I am Tom Riddle, not the other name. Also tell everyone nobody should use the other name or call me the Dark Lord."

Abraxas nodded. "We, Fenrir and I, will see what we can do."

"Tom, I want to to be honest did you participate in the raid to my home?" Fenrir asked.

"No, what are you saying? How could you think that? I will take Veritaserum if you want me to." Tom Riddle answered.

"Never mind, you should know what I saw." He told them Albus had done something to Minerva. "Did you use to like Minerva?"

"I did but why?" Tom asked, concerned.

"Something about seeds of Darkness; it seems Albus gave you a cursed candy." Fenrir told him.

Nobody knew that Albus didn't know the candy was cursed, not then.

"We need to have a meeting and call for peace." Abraxas wanted peace.

"I agree. Have you decided about your wife? She keeps trying with me," Tom worried his love might think he was Mrs. Malfoy's lover.

"Yes, come with us. We are going to the Manor." Abraxas said. "We must check on her."

"Please wait for five minutes," Tom Riddle went into his room, pulled his wand, and called the Horcrux onto him. He felt different, like the room was lighter. The last seeds of darkness fell out. He despaired wanting to find the other Horcruxes, maybe someone stole them. He had no idea they were already part of him. He needed to tell Abraxas about Albus and the other professor, today.

"Before we go, I must tell you. There is a Professor in Hogwarts who touched me when I was thirteen. I was upset, for a second, then I told him I would kill him, should he try again." He told them the name. "He was brilliant and taught me much, but he should be stopped. Then Albus did the same and said he loved me. I told him if he tried again everyone would know. That is why he won't stop until I am dead." His shoulders slumped.

"My great grandfather told my grandfather that Albus was madly in love with Gellert when they were in Hogwarts. He also hated him, but for another reason, because Gellert mortally injured Albus'sister." Abraxas explained, Fenrir was going to say more but decided this wasn't the time."

Abraxas hoped to get rid of his wife, once and for all. He suspected Fenrir would want justice, and that would please him.
