Oh, God! What did he do? He was only supposed to drink a little bit! But he… He nearly killed that woman! No… He killed her. She must have died, right? He wasn't sure how much blood he drank from her, but it must have been enough to kill her! At least, he could have tried to take her to the hospital, but instead, he ran away like a coward!

Dipper wiped off the blood on his lips as he paced in his room, holding his head in his hands. No! He must stay positive! He stopped himself in time, he just knew it! By his approximate calculations, he could not have drunk all her blood! Far from it even!

Suddenly, his phone buzzed, startling him out of his paranoid thoughts. He didn't even need to check who messaged him as he remembered the talks earlier that day, and looked out the window. It was night, and this meant…

"Bro Bro! Come on, it's time to go!" Mabel suddenly burst into the room. Thankfully, with his enhanced hearing, he easily picked up her footsteps and wasn't surprised when she stormed in. "Are you alright? You look spooked?" She asked worriedly.

"Y-Yeah! I'm fine! What's up?" Dipper answered nervously.

"The party with the gang, silly! Did you already forget? Here's your bag, let's go!" Mabel shouted excitedly as she threw a backpack at him before running off with one of her own.

Thankfully, Dipper effortlessly caught it with one hand. Usually, his past self wouldn't have had the reflexes and would have embarrassed himself by falling along with the bag. Although, he grew up enough so he would still catch it even without vampire reflexes.

"Wait, a backpack? Why do I need a backpack?" Dipper asked out loud before partially opening it and looking inside. "Oh, come on…" He sighed the moment he noticed what was inside.

He didn't have the opportunity to complain once he heard Thompson's van stopping in front of the Shack, and Mabel running toward it to welcome the gang… As cheerfully as Mabel could do it.

It was better to avoid wasting any more time. He would beat himself up over his mistake later and pray that the other girl was doing okay. For now, he had a more pressing matter to attend: to have a party with the gang… and Wendy.

He quickly got down and joined the others, just in time to see Mabel talking to them. She was probably going to take advantage of the fact he wasn't here yet to tell them about an embarrassing story of his, he thought, so he hurried.

"We were just waiting for you, Dipper!" Mabel exclaimed while waving her hand at him.

"H-Hey! It's been such a long time, guys!" Dipper greeted them.

"Dr. Funtimes! Now this party can really get started!" Nate fist-bumped him excitedly as Dipper arrived, then suddenly leaned toward him. "By the way, does your sister have a boyfriend?" He asked with a chuckle.

"Ha ha, hilarious," Dipper laughed nervously as Lee lightly slapped him on the back.

"Damn, dude! You sure got a growth spurt! You're as tall as I am, now!" Lee pointed out.

While they all grew up and got taller since they were all in their 20s except for the twins, Lee still beat the other young adults in height, albeit barely.

"Nice lenses," Robbie remarked while pointing at Dipper's eyes.

"Uhm, thanks," He replied.

Robbie, who was still wearing his emo attire, had his arm around Tambry's shoulders, holding her close to him while she was boringly looking at her phone. Her style hadn't changed much either since she wore an unzipped purple leather jacket with a white tank top underneath, dark violet shorts, and magenta stockings with black boots. Her clothes nicely matched her semi-long purple hair and pink streak. However, just like with Wendy, Dipper's eyes couldn't help but wander to her chest, which was harder to miss with her jacket open.

It wasn't as ample as Wendy's, but it still wasn't too far off. He never really paid attention to Tambry when he was a kid since he was completely head over heels for Wendy, but now that he was really looking at her, she was gorgeous, too! Staring at her chest like that also allowed him to hear her heartbeat. The sound of her blood pumping… Even if he had a nice meal earlier, he was suddenly getting hungry for more as if her neck was begging him to sink his teeth into it. Fortunately, he was broken out of his thoughts by the girl's voice.

"Hey," She simply said, though. She didn't even bother waving at Dipper and Mabel, which made the boy narrow his eyes with curiosity.

Mabel regularly texted Tambry, and he talked to her a few times, too, so he knew for a fact that she had gotten better with her cellphone addiction. Wendy herself told him several times that Tambry was spending less time with her eyes glued to her phone. However, it seemed all that progress was lost, and she was back to paying more attention to it than her friends. She didn't even seem to care that the twins were back. He didn't miss Wendy's light lip twitch as she was tempted to frown. It didn't look like she was angry, more like sad if anything else.

Something was wrong with Tambry, and only they realized. Dipper, Wendy, and Mabel, which wasn't surprising coming from his sister since she was good at reading people's feelings when she really wanted to.

He decided it was probably better not to comment on this for now.

"It's a nice reunion and all, but I hope you guys didn't forget I told you to stop punching the roof. Like seriously, this is my new car," Thompson intervened while pointing at his black van. It looked so much more modern than his mother's, which he always used in the past. It was his second van, though, because the first one ended up in a ditch because he tried driving drunk.

"Pfft, who do you take us for, man? Relax! We know how to control ourselves! Right, guys?" Robbie laughed, asking the others as they went to take a seat inside the van.

"Totally!" Nate agreed as he fist-bumped Lee and jumped inside, followed by a snickering Wendy.

Thompson simply sighed, looking exhausted as if he already knew what was about to happen. Figuring he wouldn't say anything else, he just climbed into the driver's seat.

Robbie sat beside him and didn't bother shouting shotgun before doing so, letting Tambry settle on the seats behind them with Nate and Lee. She didn't seem to mind too much since she simply kept looking at her phone.

Just like the first time, Dipper and Mabel sat all the way in the back. His twin sister sat to his right while he settled for the middle, nearly forgetting one person was still not inside the van.

"Hope you don't mind me sitting here, dude," Wendy chuckled before planting herself on Dipper's left.

The boy immediately opened his mouth, ready to nervously answer 'Of course not'. However, he stopped himself before taking a swift and sneaky breath. He knew if he answered too fast, he would just stutter and make a fool of himself again. Moreover, Wendy would realize he was still crushing on her harder than ever. He needed to play it cool.

"Of course not," He grinned while the redhead positioned herself at his side. She smelled good. Alright, it sounded weird like that, but he was a vampire! Of course, a human would smell good… Actually, that just made it sound weirder…

"Thompson! Thompson! Thompson! Thompson!" The others suddenly began chanting while wildly hitting the car's roof as the boy simply sighed.

This time, even Mabel did it, laughing all the way since she was finally tall enough to imitate the others. However, Dipper avoided doing the same since he feared he wouldn't control his strength enough and would just make a hole in the roof.

"It's good to be back," He said in a nostalgic tone.

"Right? Gravity Falls missed you, too. You won't believe how many people have been you'd show up every time something weird happened these past three years. Everyone considers you and your sister belong there," Wendy assured. She really wanted to add that especially she missed him, but left it at the tip of her tongue. She didn't want to lead him on… Even if she actually was getting a crush on him… Which she wasn't!

"Did anything interesting happen?" Dipper asked. A part of him wished the redhead would have added a remark a bit more personal.

"Eh. Only the usual biz. Though there is this new family in town," Wendy replied with a shrug.

"A new family?" The boy arched an eyebrow.

"Yup! They came outta nowhere with a manor and all!" Nate interjected suddenly.

"We saw them in the diner once. They're super gloomy just like their house. Seriously gave me the creeps," Lee added while shivering.

"You probably would have gotten paranoid if you were there, Dip. The daughter's apparently our age but we've never seen her in Gravity Falls College," Wendy explained as laid back as she ever was. Unlike the other two, she didn't really seem scared. Thompson and Tambry were completely indifferent, but Robbie seemed interested. Meanwhile, Mabel looked like she was holding an ecstatic scream. "But, eh, it's nothing out of the ordinary for Gravity Falls, you know? They'll fit right in, here. Unless they're interdimensional demons like Bill, I guess?" She added, and the demon's name was enough to send shivers down Dipper's spine.

"The daughter? That means…" Mabel took a deep breath as Dipper quickly put his hands on his ears. "A new potential girlfriend!" She screamed excitedly.

"Well, if anyone can be friends with that chick, then it'd be you," Nate commented with a snicker.

"Where are we going anyway?" Dipper asked as he leaned down and looked out the window, noticing they were driving deeper into the forest. Considering all the bumps on the road and how much they made them jump, it was likely not a road simple cars could take without the risk of getting damaged.

"The place where we'll have our party, but I'm sure you already have a good idea of where we'll be considering what you had to pack," Wendy answered while pointing at his backpack.

"Actually, I packed his things, so he probably doesn't know since I doubt he'd check," Mabel interjected with a snicker, making Dipper blush with embarrassment.

"Well, for your information, I did check what was inside!" Dipper crossed his arms stubbornly, which only made his twin sister roll her eyes.

"We're here!" Thompson suddenly declared as he slowly parked his car right before the vampire boy could argue even more.

The gang excitedly got out of the van, all of them carrying their bags on their backs while making their way to where the party would be held. In addition to their bags, Thompson and Robbie were holding several packs of beer. It wasn't anything strong, but when they partied in the forest, this was a better choice of drink.

And just as he expected when Dipper checked his bag, the gang had driven them to a large lake that reflected the illuminating crescent moon on its surface. It was a beautiful place, to say the least.

"This is amazing!" Mabel exclaimed as she ran up to the edge of the lake.

"Wendy found this place with her brothers a few weeks ago, and we thought this would be the perfect place for a welcome party!" Lee remarked while Robbie was making a pile of wood.

"Getting drunk around a campfire in the forest and jumping in a lake in the middle of the night? That's not a party, dude," Nate interjected looking serious, before grinning like an excited kid. "This is what I call a fiesta!" He shouted before fist-bumping the blonde.

"Doesn't that mean the same thing?" Dipper wondered out loud, only to be ignored by the two boys.

His main issue with this wasn't the fact that they were doing this in the middle of the night. That part was actually a blessing for him. The problem wasn't the drinks either since he and Mabel had drunk alcohol before. No, it was that they would be swimming in the lake! Everyone would see his new body! He would… No… Actually, he was starting to grow tired of getting paranoid. So what if they saw he was more muscular?! They wouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion he's a vampire!

Moreover, he could show off to Wendy… Speaking of her… He would see her in a swimsuit again!

"Booyah!" Robbie celebrated as he lit the wood on fire. "Campfire. Done!"

"Lucky we've got your lighter, huh?" Nate snickered as the other boy jokingly flipped him off.

"That's the best way we could have started our summer, Dipper!" Mabel suddenly jumped near Dipper, embracing him in a hug from behind. "Too bad Grenda, Candy, and Pacifica aren't there to enjoy it with us!" She lamented but still remained cheerful.

They weren't here mainly because the gang wasn't close enough friends with them. They didn't really hang out together without the twins, but Dipper was certain Mabel would run to her girlfriends first thing tomorrow morning.

"You guys ready to jump in soon? Find a spot to change into your swimsuits," Wendy called out to the gang before turning to Tambry. "You can come with me, Tambers, and drop that phone, you won't need it in the water," She said as she led the girl away, who rolled her eyes at the nickname. Wendy sure knew how to get her attention. "Same to you, Mabes," She called out to the girl.

"Coming!" Mabel shouted as she let go of Dipper and followed after the two girls.

"I wouldn't mind coming with you girls!" Robbie shouted with a smirk. "You know, to make sure you're safe,"

"In your dreams!" Wendy replied without even turning around, leaving the boys alone.

"Well… Guess we should change…" Nate declared before taking off his shirt. It seemed the guys changing into their swimsuits in front of everyone else. Dipper would personally rather avoid it.

"Do we really have to do that? I feel like I'll catch a cold," Thomspon shivered with his shirt off while holding swim shorts.

"Pfft, don't be a baby, dude! Ice-cold water is nothing to guys like us," Robbie commented while flexing his arms, even though, he still hadn't taken off his black sweatshirt.

"I'll change a bit further away if you guys don't mind," Dipper called out to them before walking behind a couple rows of trees.

"No problemo, Dr. Funtimes!" Lee replied while taking off his pants and nearly falling on his butt as he did.

The male Pines twin sighed as he hid behind a tree and opened his backpack, then pulled out Hawaiian-themed swim shorts. Why did he let Mabel pick some of his clothes, again? Rolling his eyes, he simply grumbled and took off his pants first before proceeding to do the same with his underwear, so he could put on those swim trunks quickly. Only then did he notice he wasn't feeling quite cold. No, it wasn't that he didn't feel the cold. It didn't bother him at all. Perhaps, it was because of his vampiric nature.

His transformation changed many things about his physiology and his being overall. Obviously, he was stronger and so much more toned. However, there was something else and he just couldn't, for the life of him, figure out if it was only his imagination or if it really changed. It wasn't like he measured it or anything, but… He could swear his penis was like, at least, an inch longer. Shaking his head at those thoughts, he put on his trunks and took off his shirt before his ears picked up the sound of the girls coming back to the gang.

Before going to meet the others, he allowed himself to stay where he was for a few seconds more to peek from behind the tree he was in to see what they were all wearing. The other boys had swim trunks, of course, but he wasn't interested in those. His eyes wandered more toward the girls.

The boy arched an eyebrow as he noticed Mabel was wearing the swimsuit she bought right before they departed for Gravity Falls. It was a blue bikini with a ruffled top and a swim skirt. Nate and Lee were barely trying to hide that they were ogling her, especially her assets, which weren't hidden by her sweatshirts anymore. Even if he was protective of his sister, he couldn't totally blame them since his own eyes were inspecting Wendy and Tambry from head to toe.

The ginger girl, unfortunately, wasn't wearing a bikini. However, she had a red school swimsuit just like the one she had worn the first time he had seen her at the pool. She had even more curves than that time, that was for sure! She had a larger, but still fit, butt that matched her chest. It was a shame she wasn't wearing a two-piece swimsuit because that was still the most skin he'd seen from her.

Then his eyes moved to Tambry, who was wearing a bikini just like his sister. Hers matched the colors of her hair and the clothes she had previously. She had a violet halter bikini top with a ring in the middle and cheeky bottoms of the same color. Obviously, she wasn't as fit as Wendy was, but she clearly knew how to take care of her body. She was slim, but her thighs seemed a bit thicker than the redhead's even if it wasn't the case for her breasts.

He couldn't deny seeing these two made him quite tingly… down there. Alright, yeah, he had an erection, but it wasn't like anyone could see it since he was wearing swim trunks.

Enough wasting time! They were only waiting for him now!

"Sorry, it took so long!" Dipper shouted as he came running toward them and threw his backpack with all his clothes inside near the campfire, where the others put their stuff.

"About time, Dip-" Wendy started, only to stop herself as she gazed at his body.

All of them, even Tambry who had let go of her phone, were flabbergasted. The scrawny kid with noodle arms was no more. Now that he was only wearing swim trunks, they could see his new body and well-defined muscles. It truly seemed he didn't skip on training any part of his body. Wendy wasn't really interested in muscles, usually, especially if the guy was bulky, but Dipper's looked like they were sculpted. Seriously, it couldn't have been simply the gym, there was no way the supernatural wasn't at play here because those muscles seemed they were made to be attractive, appealing to the eyes.

What she didn't know was that it was exactly the case. Vampires needed to be appealing to humans, after all.

Tambry was madly blushing, without even caring if her boyfriend saw her or not. When did that dweeb get so hot? Don't get her wrong, she didn't dislike him or anything. She thought he and his sister were cute, but they weren't really as close as they were with some of the others in the gang. However, she never thought that this kid of all people would get so hot. For a second there, she wished she had her phone to take a picture. Wendy missed the jackpot! Yeah, she knew Dipper had a crush on the redhead in the past because Robbie told her. Sure he wasn't anything special back then, but right now…

"Damn, dude! You've been hitting the gym, haven't you?" Lee pointed out. He seemed impressed just like Nate was. Robbie tried to stay indifferent while Thomspon sadly looked at his belly and made it shake a few times.

Meanwhile, the twin sister raised an eyebrow suspiciously at him while watching him from head to toe. Dipper couldn't help but sweat nervously while the girl moved closer and closer, inspecting his body.

"I didn't notice the gym worked out so well for you, Bro-Bro… Good for you!" Mabel exclaimed before slapping him on the back like a proud father.

"Thanks," He mumbled.

"Booyah!" Nate suddenly shouted as he jumped into the lake with his knees against his chest, splashing water all around him. This was enough to bring everyone back to reality, and for Lee to jump after him just as his best friend pulled his head out of the water. "Woah, dudes! This water's warm! It's cozy in there!" He remarked while swimming around.

"Really?" Thompson asked skeptically before sticking a finger inside. "Hey, it really is!" He exclaimed in relief.

"Then what are you waiting for, big guy?" Robbie pushed him in, making the larger boy scream in fear as he fell into the lake. The one who pushed him followed soon after.

"Come on, Tambry," Wendy elbowed her friend before jumping in.

The phone-addicted girl simply sighed and slowly entered the lake while Dipper stood on the edge. He didn't jump in right away because he was once again wondering about Tambry's state of mind. There was definitely something wrong with her, but he didn't dare to ask. He didn't think he was close enough with her.

"What are you waiting for, Dipper? Go in or I'm pushing you in!" Someone shouted from behind him, making him widen his eyes.

The boy swiftly turned around to see his sister running full speed toward him with a wide and crazed smile on her face.

"Wait! Wait!" Dipper waved his arms to shield himself, only for his twin sister to jump on him, wrapping her arms and legs around his neck and waist and bringing him into the water with her. Curse her for probably making him swallow gallons of water! Thankfully, she released him nearly immediately after they landed in the water, allowing him to swim up and pull his head out of the lake. "I'm alive? I'm alive!" He shouted with genuine relief.

"This was fun!" Mabel commented after coming out of the water.

"Next time you do that, warn me, okay, Mabel?" He asked in annoyance.

"Where's the fun in that?" Mabel laughed before joining the others.

"The water really is warm, though," Dipper muttered while following his sister.

They had fun by doing the usual shenanigans in the lake, which was trying to drown and splash each other. They even had a chicken fight in the shallow part of the lake. This would have been an amazing opportunity for Dipper to have Wendy on his shoulders since he was finally taller than her and strong enough to carry her. Unfortunately, Mabel decided to step in and make him carry her on his shoulders. In the end, Wendy wasn't even a rider since she held Nate while Robbie carried Tambry. Lee and Thomspon were a team, but the former had been stupid enough to choose Thomspon as the rider, so they just ended up pathetically falling.

They even dared Thomspon to lick a toad's back. He seemed fine, but they would have to see if he needed to go to the hospital the next morning.

At some point, they separated into a few groups, simply discussing with one another. The girls were a bit further away from everyone else while Nate and Robbie talked on the shallow part of the lake. Lee and Thompson looked like they were digging something in the dirt.

What interested Dipper were the girls. Mainly because he wondered why they were so far away from the group. With his curiosity picked, he couldn't really ignore them. He swam a little closer and hid behind large tree roots. He was still pretty far away from them, but with his enhanced hearing, hearing them would be an easy task.

"Come on, Tambry. It's Mabel, you can tell her," Wendy seemed to be trying to convince her friend of something while his twin sister was standing beside them.

"Just so she can blabber to her brother?" The emo girl huffed in dismissal.

"I won't! I swear! If it's something serious, I'll take it seriously, okay?" Mabel quickly defended herself. It was true. The girl had still changed, even if she didn't show it. She was more mature than before. "Besides, I noticed you weren't feeling well. I bet it's Romance problems, right?" She asked. Somehow, she always knew about those things.

"Mabel will totally understand. She has nearly as much experience as me for failed romances," Wendy assured Tambry, who looked away for a brief moment and sighed resolutely.

"Alright… I guess you aren't a kid anymore. None of us are, so I should stop judging you on who you were at 13 or 14," She said, instantly putting a smile on Mabel's face. "Yeah, you were right. It's about romance. It's not going so well with Robbie," She sighed in defeat.

"What? Why?" Mabel questioned in shock.

"I don't know… It's like… The love just faded away," Tambry shrugged, making both Dipper and Mabel widen their eyes in realization. "It's like I've been loving him less and less every day, and… It's weird. I'm grossed out, too. He just feels like a friend again, and we always fight. Oh, God, the fights are so annoying," She rubbed the bridge of her nose. "It's not like I'm the only one feeling this way. He sure doesn't love me anymore either! He hasn't even touched tried to touch me for months," She complained.

"Oh…" Mabel looked down in shame. She already knew what the problem might have been. Robbie and Tambry weren't a normal couple as she and Dipper knew. Did the love potion have a time limit? Did the love fade if it wasn't true love?

On one hand, Dipper was kind of happy to have been proven right since he had said at the start this potion was bad news. On the other hand, he felt bad about the couple. He had an idea of what fading love felt like considering his ruined relationships, but it must have been even worse for them.

"Robbie is an idiot, but I doubt it's totally his fault in this case," Wendy remarked.

"He's still a dumbass, though. I get he doesn't love me anymore, but he doesn't have to be an ass about it," Tambry grumbled while Mabel nervously rubbed the back of her head.

"Sorry to say this, but… Have you considered breaking up? If neither of you is happy, then it would be better, probably," She suggested, only for Tambry to sigh.

"I know, but I can't just give up on this. There must be a solution! We've dated for like 5 years. That's the longest relationship I ever had," She retorted.

"Yeah, five years is serious. My longest lasted like four months," Wendy added with a shrug.

"I just… I have no idea what to do…" Tambry shook her head miserably.

Before Mabel could say anything, Dipper moved away from his spot, distancing himself away from the girls. He had heard enough. Now he knew what plagued Tambry's mind, but he wondered if there was anything he could do. Still, he had his own problems to take care of. Maybe he could help Tambry after he solved some of his current issues. He and Mabel kind of became the town's heroes, after all. The least they could do was help their friends.

"Hey, where were you, Dip?" Lee asked as he joined the other boys, who had regrouped while he eavesdropped the girls.

"Nature called," Dipper shrugged while chuckling nervously.

"Oh, yeah, I always get that when I step into the water. But since it happens in a pool most of the time, I can't just do it in the water, ya know," Thompson grinned innocently before realizing what he just said and looking around nervously as the other boys backed away in disgust. "Aww, man,"

"You guys ready to get out?" Wendy asked while swimming closer to the group, followed by the two other girls. "I'm startin' to get a little thirsty," She added, obviously referring to the beers they brought.

"Finally! Let's get wasted!" Nate shouted excitedly before swiftly swimming to the shore. The rest of the gang followed soon after.

"Shit, it's so cold out of the water!" Lee commented while hugging himself and shivering.

"Beer will warm ya up," Robbie retorted after coming out of the lake.

Coincidentally, the last ones to leave were Dipper and Wendy.

"You sure you wanna drink, Dip?" The redhead asked in amusement.

"Uhm, yeah? Why are you asking?" He answered hesitantly.

"From what Mabel told me, your last party didn't go so well with your mother," She laughed much to Dipper's confusion, to which Wendy raised an eyebrow as she noticed. "You know? Getting him totally drunk?"

"Oh! You're talking about that night! Right! Ha ha! I just had more than I can chew, it'll be fine!" Dipper responded nervously with a fake laugh, finally understanding what she meant.

"It's okay. It happens to everyone, you know?" The redhead reassured him as they slowly got out of the lake. What neither of them noticed was the tree root protruding out of the ground, in which Wendy stuck her foot and tripped toward the muddy floor.

Dipper widened his eyes, quickly reacting to the girl's yelp as he outstretched his hand to catch her fall, only to fall after her. It wasn't that he lost his balance. No, his instincts simply told him to follow her down and save her. He immediately noticed why once he felt what was under one of his hands: a stone that would have hurt the back of Wendy's head if he hadn't moved it out of the way at the last second.

"Oof, a close one, right, Dipper?" Wendy asked in relief while looking at the stone, then turned her gaze on the boy. "This… You okay?" She questioned with red cheeks. Wait, why was she blushing.

Dipper suddenly grasped the situation they were in. She was resting on the ground, her head between his palms, and he was directly above her. As the redhead's legs nestled between his, his knees had slipped to the earth. It looked like a scene in those romance animes Mabel watched.

He immediately blushed, his eyes staring into Wendy's. Suddenly, nothing around them remained as if only the two of them existed in the world. Being stuck in her gorgeous viridian eyes was already an amazing experience, but he still couldn't stop himself from lowering his gaze. Her chest and cleavage were much more visible, and the water droplets running down her body certainly didn't help ease his rising arousal. Wait… Arousal?

"You… Uhm… Look happy there, Dip," Wendy commented in amusement while looking down as the boy widened his eyes in terror and realization.

Meanwhile, Tambry turned back to check what the two were doing right when Dipper leaned back, distancing himself away from the redhead with a panicked look on his face. This prompted her to look down, only to have her jaw drop as the male twin hid the bulge in his swim trunks.

"I-I didn't mean to! I swear!" Dipper quickly shouted while hiding his crotch behind his hands and standing up. Why the hell was it so visible?! The trunks weren't skintight, so there was no reason an erection would be so hard to hide!

"It's fine, dude. Really," Wendy reassured him while standing up.

"It happened on its own! I can't control it! It's just… It's a natural reaction!" The vampire hurriedly made excuses, his face somehow even redder than earlier.

"Dipper, it's okay. I understand," Wendy snickered with her hands raised to calm him down.

"It's… I can't help it! We were so close… and you're… Well, you're gorgeous…" Dipper continued to justify himself, making the redhead blush again.

"Dipper," The lumberjack put her hands on his shoulders, finally bringing him back to reality. "I told you, it's fine. I understand. This happens sometimes. It's okay," She reassured him, and thankfully, it seemed to work as he slowly nodded in relief. "Oh, and… Thank you. The others must be waiting for us now," She added before encouraging him to walk with the others.

"Yeah, sorry. I didn't mean to make a big deal out of this," Dipper gulped before walking away while Wendy remained a few meters behind. The vampire even passed by Tambry, whose mouth was still open in astonishment.

"No problem," Wendy said until her fake calmness suddenly faded away, leaving her sweating and breathless instead.

"Holy shit, since when was he packing so much?" Both she and Tambry whispered to themselves while holding their foreheads.

"Calm down, Wendy. Just… Let's try… To forget about this. I seriously need a drink," The lumberjack redhead mumbled under her breath before joining the others, along with Tambry who hurried off the moment she noticed Wendy approaching.
