"Alan." I call his name
He has light skin tone but no hair . He has light brown eyebrows and eyes . His beard around his chin are also brown. He has stripped tattoos on his neck and back of his hand which means that he is a dauntless leader .
"He can't hear you. The simulation makes him friends to enemies ." Jeanine Matthew smirks
She walks away . Leaving me and Alan mean that she wants him to kill me instead putting me in a water tank like she puts tris in. Dauntless soldiers standing around us .
"Alan please sees me . I am Violet ." I try to grab his arm
However he charges at me and punches me in the jaw . I groan so loud and my gun clattering on the floor . I have no weapon now and I know that I can't fight him . Not because he is one of the best fighter in dauntless but because I love him for so many years since I was an initiate
I fall on the floor . He grabs my hair and hitting me on the wall. My vision is going black . He punches me again and I push him away.
I scramble to my feet. I have to stop him. I try to kick him but he grabs my feet and yank me backward . I give up. I can't fight him even I can .
I take the gun and aiming at my own forehead . He charges at me and holds the gun barrier . He will kill me because that is what the computer told him to do
All the dauntless guard aiming their gun at me . I put my hand on his chest. I know that he is there somewhere
"It's okay Alan. I love you Just do it." I am crying
He is staring at me . My hand on his lips . He blinks twice and then three time.
"Violet." He is calling my name as he usually do .
I tilt my head a little to give him a signal that there are traitor . He then turns and shoots at them.
Most of them fall and other drops their weapon and lying on the ground in pain . I take my knife and stab one on their chest . Alan continues to shoot at the soldiers and loaded his gun when it is out of bullet. I punch one of them in the gut.
When Jeanine turns around and tries to start the program again， I throw the knife at her and knife stand on her hand . She screams and takes her hand off the gun with irresistible force .
"You son of bitch." She screams at me
I pursuit to her and she is angry now with me . She tries to reach the serum and sticks with me
"You are for sure more abnegation than anything." She smirks at me
"I am not abnegation and I am not dauntless." I take the serum from her and then ."I am divergent."
I stick the serum into her neck . She goes slump right away. Her eyes blank .
"Shut down the simulation now ."'I command her
I am sure that she is not divergent herself so she is controlled by the simulation now . She turns and press some button on the screens and the whole entire screen shutting down .
"Violet ， the simulation is ended now ." Alan taps some code on the next screen
Jeanine Matthew of course wakes up too. She is so frustrated now and she charges at me but Alan punches her in the gut and she falls.
"However they will come soon so we have to go." Alan grabs my hand ."Where is four and tris ."
Four was taken away when Alan was taken away at the same time .
"I don't even know ." I shake my head
He drags me out of the glass building and I see that my father's body is lying among the dead soldiers
"Alan， my parent both dead for me today." I cry."Or for my sister."
"I know that Violet. They love you guys." Alan kisses me ."I am your family now ."
Tris and four come out from the other side . Tris hugs me and I hug her back.
"Thank god ， you are alive ." Tris sighs ."Welcome back Alan."
"I will not kill your sister ." Alan rolls his eyes ."If I was ever awake ."
"I know that Alan but you know the situation is different." Four pats Alan on his shoulder .
I yawn. I am so tired now .'I haven't sleep for a few days already since Maria's final exam.
"Where is Maria and Sam." I say
"Sam and Maria are hiding in candor . Sam was also from Candor so they are safe there." Alan grabs my shoulder
"You grab the wrong shoulder Alan."I scream
We walk into the elevator . Alan holds me in his arm
"I am sorry Violet." Alan kisses my forehead ."Everything okay?"
"Yeah we shut down the simulation too." Tris shrugs ."By the way， I saw Marcus down there . He comes with us ."
Four stiffens . Alan looks at him weirdly. He doesn't know what happens between four and Marcus?
"It's fine ." Four sighs .
When we get out of the elevator ， Caleb comes and hugs us
"Who is it?" Caleb narrowing his eyes at alan
"This is Alan Davis . One of the leader of the dauntless . My boyfriend ." I giggle."Or husband soon to be ."
"Aren't you too old for my sister?" Caleb raises his eyebrows
Alan stares at him for a second and laughs .
"She is elder than you Caleb ." Alan shakes his head
Four stiffens again when Marcus hugs him. Tris pushes him away
"Don't touch him. The only reason why I am not killing you because he should do it." Tris screams
"What hell is that?" Caleb frowns
"You don't know the truth so don't mind the business." I grab his arm.
Alan is quiet beside me . Four holds this into his arms
"It's fine tris . We have to go." Four sighs . "Alan what is the plan."
"We should go to amity first." Alan nods at four .
We exist the compound . Alan carries me with him. My legs are in pain now .
"Violet, I almost kill you. Why you don't shoot me ?" Alan kisses my forehead
"I love you Alan for so many years . For more than 5 or ten years . I love you." I cry. "You are like my husband now ."
"Why don't you guys married before?" Tris raises her eyebrows at me
Alan looks at me in silence . Four folds his arms
"Your sister was waiting for all of you to finish choosing now . Then everything changed after Maria's initiation." Alan rolls his eyes
"When everything over , you should make up for my sister." Tris giggles
"Yeah I will. I will give her a big wedding for sure ." Alan kisses my lips
I am blushing. Even we have been together a long time , I still feel shy when he shows affection in public .
"Stop kissing two love birds." Marcus says
"We are dauntless . We are not stiffs."Alan spits at him. "Mind your own business."
The train is coming toward us . Alan starts jogging and he jumps into the car and next drags me in . I rest my head on his chest
"I have no family now ." I sigh.
"I am your family now . Tris and Maria and Caleb are still here ." Alan brushes my face
"Aren't you worry about Sasha ?" I narrow my eyes at him
Sasha is Alan's sister . She is no where to be found .
"I believe that she is in Candor now ." Alan says
"I hope so ."'I lower my head. "I am sorry that i didn't find her."
"It's fine . Violet, you did what you have to do ." Alan kisses me . "Next time if anyone threaten your life , please kill them even it's me okay? I want you to be safe."
I cover up his mouth. He kisses my fingers.
"I can't do that Alan . Killing you is like killing myself." I cry. "I love you."
We finally reach the fence . We jump off the train. Caleb landed on his feet and Marcus hardly landed on his knees and brings Peter down with him
"Do you remember the code?" Alan asks four .
"Yeah I hope they don't change the combination ." Four taps a series of numbers on the screen
The door opens and we walk cross it. Caleb sighs
"Lucky." Caleb snorts.
"Nothing to do with luck. I worked in the control room because I wanted to come out ." Four grabs tris's hand
"All the leader know the code toi including me ." Alan nods at four . "Four is right."
We walk toward the orchard and Marcus walks in the front. We find Johanna Reyes sitting below the trunk .
"Hey Marcus ." Johanna waves at us
"Hello Johanna ." Marcus smiles
"You are finally here . Your people have arrived a few minute earlier ." Johanna says
She looks at Alan and me to tris and four . Her eyes stop at Peter and tris's shoulder
"Oh my , I can grant you guys to stay for a night. However tomorrow , we will discuss together ." Johanna sighs . "We will not like dauntless presence here . I urge you guys to hand in any weaponry you guys have ."
Alan and I hand in our gun and four hands in his . However I saw four's hand laces with tris . It is smart for him to hide a gun as an alternative .
"My name is Johanna Reyes ." She stretches out her hand for Alan and me to shake
"Alan Davis , this is my wife soon to be Violet prior and her sister tris and brother Caleb . This is my best friend four and his father Marcus ." Alan introduces all of us . He even hide four's real name
"How matching you guys are ." Johanna raises an eyebrows at me . "Welcome to amity."
We follow her to the cafeteria to meet our people
