Kyoto, Villain hunter
"The villain hunter has struck again. The heroes are on high alert. If you see this man, please immediately inform the authorities and avoid any confrontation." The image of a young man in his early twenties with green hair, a cold gaze, and a scar on his left eye was spread throughout every corner of the city.
"Damn it," cursed the man in question, finding himself in a remote alley at the other end of the city. His face with the warning was broadcasted on screens, billboards, and in the news all over the city. Sirens blared everywhere, and costumed fools scoured every nook and cranny in search of him. The constant rain and his soaked clothing further soured his mood.
"I wanted to stay inconspicuous," he muttered angrily, trying to recall. He had simply wanted to grab something to eat when suddenly a group of thugs tried to rob him. Without hesitation, he swiftly dealt with them, cutting them apart. But as soon as he turned around, the costumed fools came charging in, some of them seriously injured, but they shouldn't have bothered him in the first place.
It wasn't the first time something like this had happened to him. Somehow, he always found himself in muggings, robberies, or even murders. Each time he dealt with them, he was hunted afterward. Each time he resolved to stay low-key, only to be targeted again.
"Villain hunter, as if," he scoffed with bitterness in his voice. This title they had bestowed upon him was abhorrent. He despised it because it strongly reminded him of another title he detested just as vehemently. However, fate seemed to have other plans, continuously thrusting this role upon him, no matter how hard he tried to escape it, it always emerged to irk him.
Amidst the urban chaos and the relentless pursuit, he continued his path, searching for a place where he could briefly find solace from all the chaos and persecution, perhaps finding dry clothing and something to eat.
UA, Eraserhead
Shota from UA stared in shock at the wanted poster before them. Nezu had gathered them in the dead of night to discuss something urgent. Cold sweat trickled down Shota's forehead as he witnessed the unprecedented brutality in the video. Throughout his career, Shota had seen many things, but never before had it been so effortless or so chilling. It was as if watching an uncontrollable beast.
"It was the tenth time this week that he appeared," Shota caught Nezu's monologue. "Every time, he acts with unparalleled brutality. He makes no distinction between hero or villain. Remarkably, civilians are never harmed. Today, he neutralized Kyoto's best heroes. The media has given him the highly inaccurate name 'Villain Hunter'. The Hero Association has classified him as a Class S villain. Please, keep your eyes open," Nezu concluded his monologue as Present Mic spoke up.
"Sir, why the commotion? He doesn't seem like such a great threat to me," remarked Present Mic.
Shota sighed and glanced over the wanted poster. Present Mic's words struck him like a dagger to the heart. It wasn't just the matter of the "Villain Hunter" that troubled him. It was the fact that the world of heroism and justice was being threatened in a way he hadn't even fathomed in his worst nightmares.
"It's not just about the obvious threat, Present Mic," Shota began in a calm tone. "It's about the fact that someone like him exists at all. His methods are frighteningly effective and simultaneously disturbing. He seems to be playing a game, but we don't know what it is. What's his motive? Why does he choose such paths? These are the questions that concern me."
Shota looked away, reflecting on recent events. The Villain Hunter was no ordinary adversary. His presence was unpredictable, his tactics inscrutable. It was a threat that not only shook the Hero Association but also the people's trust in heroes.
"We must be cautious, Present Mic. This 'Villain Hunter' may not appear to be a great threat at first glance, but we cannot ignore what he has done so far. We need to find a way to stop him before his actions cause even greater damage."
With these words, Shota left the room, his mind filled with thoughts of the opponent's unpredictability and the looming danger. The night was still young, but the threat seemed to be growing relentlessly, and the heroes were faced with a challenge far beyond the ordinary.
UA, Next Day, Class 1A
Early in the morning, the class gathered in their classroom to discuss the next steps. The tension was palpable, as they were all eager to finally begin their hero training. The students were excited, engaging in lively conversations and exchanging contact information. In a secluded corner of the room sat Izuku Midoriya, completely silent. With his dark green hair, he inevitably drew attention to himself, whether intentionally or not. He observed the bustling activity, too shy to participate. Just as he was about to attempt to join in, a loud bang echoed through the room as the door swung open. Their teacher entered and announced, "Today, we will be heading outside to hone our practical skills and apply our theoretical knowledge in the real world. We are visiting the USJ, which stands for 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint,' a training ground designed for aspiring heroes specifically to simulate various disaster scenarios. There, we will not only put theory into practice but also learn how to respond appropriately under pressure and in unexpected situations to ensure the safety and well-being of people." With these words, the teacher left the room as abruptly as he had entered it. The students' excitement grew as they prepared for the impending practical experience and made their way to the training ground.
USJ, class 1A
The class got off the bus as the wheels came to a stop. They were all excited and wondering what would come their way throughout the day. Their homeroom teacher led them into the large building, and they were delighted to see Rescue Hero 13.
"But isn't All Might supposed to participate in this exercise?" Aizawa Sensei asked 13.
"What? All Might?" the students asked excitedly.
"He was detained, he'll join us later," replied 13.
The students let out a disappointed sigh.
"Okay, just the two of us. Time's ticking. We should start," Aizawa Sensei said to 13.
"Excellent. Before we begin, let me just say one thing. Well, maybe two. Possibly three, four, or five," 13 began. The students exclaimed, "We got it!
"Listen carefully. I have a powerful Quirk called 'Black Hole.' I can suck up everything and turn it into dust. Some of you also have powers that can be dangerous. In our superhuman society, all Quirks are certified and strictly regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that your powers can be deadly if you lose focus or make the wrong move, even if you're trying to do something virtuous, like saving someone."
"Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a clear idea of your Quirk's potential. And due to All Might's combat training, you probably know how dangerous your powers can be when used against other people. Apply those lessons to this class. Today, you will learn how to use your Quirks to save lives. You won't use your powers to attack enemies or each other but only to help. After all, being a hero is about ensuring the safety of others."
"Thirteen is so cool!" a student exclaimed. Thirteen finished by saying, "That's all I have to say. Thank you for listening." The students cheered.
Aizawa grunted and ordered, "Alright. Now that's over... Stay together and don't move!" When a threatening situation arose, he instructed Thirteen to protect the students. "Wow, what is that thing?" Izuku gasped. "Wait, has the training already started? I thought we were going to save people," he said, as Aizawa ordered them to stay back. "This is real. Those are villains."
Suddenly, an unexpected jolt hit the environment. A loud bang pierced the air, and a sinister figure appeared. Aizawa, Thirteen, and the students were frozen as the shadows of an impending danger swept over them…
