A/N: Another fresh crossover between Devil May Cry and Supernatural series which has been in my head for a long time. I recently re-watched Supernatural and Lucifer series that I had this urge to do this crossover.

So basically This is DMC X SPN, but with few characters crossing over from Lucifer series too. All 3 franchise exist in same universe.

This story takes place 5 years after DMC 5, SPN (after Darkness saga to make it work with Lucifer series) and one year after Lucifer series finale. How the 3 stories fit and the events and respective timelines converge will be explained along the way. Hope you all like it.

Disclaimer: I dont own Devil May Cry, Supernatural and Lucifer franchise.

Prologue: "The calm before the eventual storm...?"

Present day...

It was midnight in Los Angeles with no vehicles on the road. Only the night club and bars were open with their blinking neon boards.

When all seemed to look good, Suddenly 6 men in black suit started running at great speed across the alleyway as if running in terror.

"QUICK! LETS SPLIT HERE AND REGROUP" **HEAVY BREATHING**

"Oh my GOD! He is gonna kill us all!"

"Shut up you idiot! keep running!"

The men were barking orders among them as they kept running. Then there was a certain mystery figure in a red jacket and long white hair with piercing blue eyes, holding two hand guns in each hand running at inhuman speed over the roof top keeping an eye on the men leaping from one building to another. He watched the group split up. The man smirked and kept running towards one split group while leaving the rest. As the one half he was chasing were about to reach a van that was parked at the end of the alley, suddenly the red coat man jumped from the rooftop to the ground and landed in front of them.

"NO! I thought we evaded him!" one of the 3 asked.

"Now what shall we do?" The other one asked in fear for the man in red coat. The third one who was silent finally spoke up.

"Do you think you are tough!? We will rip your heart out of your chest!" he yelled at him. Finally the man in red coat decided to talk.

"I thought Crowley was keeping an eye on you pieces of trash" he said.

"You may have got us, but the others have escaped-...ha ha ha **SINISTER LAUGH**"

"Are you sure?" he asked as the three men turned to look back only to see a shadowy entity has flanked the other 3 and cornered them. The other 3 after seeing them regrouped with the ones blocked by the white haired man. The shadowy entity then vanished into him with now having all 6 targets in front of him.

"You think we are afraid of you!? You son of a traitor!" one of them yelled.

"Gotta say, Lucifer kinda did a better job keeping you in a leash. Now that he's retired with a family which is absolutely ridiculous to hear hahaha-..ahem..well looks like someone has to keep you all in line"

"Crowley, Lucifer-..they were all weak! But Hell is about to get a new ruler the one who will unite us all and rule all of heaven, hell and Earth." one of them spoke which piqued the white haired man's interest.

"The terror lord, the prime evil will return!" another spoke.

"Really? C'mon guys! Don't I deserve some retirement? My brother's in Japan practicing Zen and for a fact he is a grand father now and I am a grand uncle, you gotta cut us some slack" he said jestingly.

"SHIT UP FILTH!" one of them yelled and charged towards him. The white haired man calmly lifted his left arm and clicked his finger and all of a sudden everything around them slowed down, almost came to a stop, as if the flow of time has been tampered. The man immediately fired his gun in the right hand and *BAAM*. The bullet hit the guy with force as he flew back and his body started to catch fire and burned him to the crisp with only roasted human body left there.

The others saw this and sweat started to drop down their face. They immediately roared as black mists started to come out of them. The white haired man raised his left arm towards them. Suddenly the mists that came out of their mouths reversed back into their bodies through the same mouths.

"Tsk tsk...not so fast" he said with a maniacal grin. The other 6 men were terrified of what happened as the feeling of entrapment caught them.

"You would not kill a human being would you?" One of them spoke with a smile trying to dissuade him.

"Do you think I am blind? I know those meat suits are just corpses that you filled in" he said as his eyes started to turn pitch black with Iris glowing crimson bright.

"AAHHHHHH-...**BAAM BAAM BAAM BAAM BAAM** those men yelled as bullets flew.

and all that remained was just gun shots. The white haired man after holstering his guns, sat on a strange, odd looking motorcycle and rev'd it to full throttle and took off at high speed on the road.

-.-.-.-

Next morning...

Sam and Dean Winchester were living in their men of letters bunker in Kansas. As the alarm went off, Sam woke up with sleepy eyes.

"Well well, look who's awake! Its the ray of Sam-shine!" Dean said as he was seated in his brother's bed. Sam was surprised to see his brother in his room wondering what he was doing here.

"Dude! What the hell are you doing in my bedroom!?" Sam asked with a puzzled face.

"Well, have a coffee, take a shower and get ready to hit the mean streets!" Dean said as he was about to leave the room.

"What!? Is this about a new case?" Sam asked though he knew that must have been the only thing Dean must have meant.

"Yep, get ready, I'll explain in the hall" Dean said to which Sam nodded. Sam then brushed his teeth, took a shower and dressed himself and went to the hall where Dean already prepared breakfast for them both.

"Where is Cas?" Sam asked who noticed their missing angel friend.

"Well, Cas said he was going to meet with Claire and one of his brothers today and asked us to call him in case we needed his help with any case" Dean said to which Sam nodded. He walked near the table as he saw the laptop with news page opened that was detailing mystery murders in Los Angeles which reports on 6 bodies burnt to crisp.

"What the hell?" Sam muttered loud enough for Dean to here.

"Thats the one. 6 victims have been Kentucky fried and dumped in the alley last night, in LA. There are reports of some guy in a red trench coat riding a weird bike too, the same time around these murders happened" Dean said.

"So what? Are we dealing with some kinda serial killer arsonist?" Sam tried to figure out who was behind this.

"Since when did arsons torched people? Nah bro, this is our kinda thing" Dean said as he finished his breakfast. Sam was giving a deep thought into this and agreed with his brother.

"Yeah, sounds fishy to me too. Lets see what this is about. But by the time we reach there, they would have moved the bodies" Sam said to which Dean nodded in acknowledged.

"Sammy, this isn't our first rodeo. We will figure something else" Dean said. Both Sam and Dean dressed appropriately and kick started their 67 Chevy Impala and drove the highway. Its going to be almost a day travel from their place to Los Angeles.

A day and a half later...

Sam and Dean were in their cheap suits with tweed and tie, enough to convince they are federal agents. After the brothers reached the LAPD, they waited in the lobby when one of the officers approached them.

"May I help you, Officer Barnes" an LAPD officer shook hands with them.

"I am agent Wilson and this is agent Smith, from the FBI" Dean said as he showed their badges to them to which the officer shrunk his temples in suspicion taking a look at their badges. Sam and Dean maintained a calm composure enough not blow their cover up.

"Hmm, why would the feds even care about a homicide case?" the officer asked.

"Well, the way we see it, this is not a typical run-of-the-mill murder. 6 victims were burned to crisp and there was also an odd looking motorcycle rider identified in the street cameras. Our boss wants to peek into this" Sam said.

"You know just to make, there's nothing weird about this case" Dean added. The officer nodded in agreement as he found their statements convincing.

"Fine, how can the LAPD help?" he asked.

"Can we get to see the bodies, first? We need something to zero in on" Dean said.

"Come in. The coroner's got the bodies for autopsy" the officer said as the 3 moved in.

"Has there been any similar murders, anything weird happened before here?" Sam asked.

"Well, we have our fair share of craziness in the town. But damn! This is too sick, I mean, burning the bodies like that after murder, that too in public display!? All signs points to a maniac" the officer said. They all entered the autopsy room where the tree saw an young woman in early 30s examining the bodies curiously.

"Miss Lopez? We have visitors from the FBI" he said as she turned to look with mild confusion and her eyes fixated upon the two so called agents, with mix of suspicion and wariness.

"Who called the Feds anyway?" she asked.

"They are here on this-...murder business. They would like to talk to you" he said to which she nodded. Then the officer left them alone.

"I'm Ella Lopez, forensic scientist for the LAPD. Soooo-...you guys are the feds huh? Can I see you badges once?" she asked scanning the two brothers curiously. Sam and Dean glanced at each other before taking their badges. She took Dean's badge and alternatively looked at him and Dean for a couple of times and chuckled.

Rrrright! Feds huh? C'mon dudes! Feel free to tell me who you really are. Will be our little secret" she said winking her eye.

"What!? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Sam asked confused wondering if their cover was blown. Dean was tensed too as this would cause a serious problem for them, not even Sheriff Jodie or Donna can fix them.

"Seriously how did you find out?" Dean asked astonished at the fact that their cover was blown in few mins which has never happened before. But the Winchesters didn't feel any hostility from her to their surprise.

"Actually you gave the badge right away when I asked. Real feds dont do that!" she said with a smirk that made them roll their eyes, but not because it was absurd, she was right and she managed to pick on that teeny tiny details.

"Wow! Hah, you really are good at your job!" Sam said with a smile complementing her.

"Okay, I take it you guys are interested in this murders for some weird reason. May I know why?" she asked.

"Do we even have a choice?" Dean asked smugly.

"Yep, walk right through that door and I wont make a scene, capisce!?" Ella said straight to their faces. Sam and Dean didn't have any choice in the matter. Sam gave go ahead to tell her who they truly are.

"Okay, I know you wont believe us, but will still give a try. I am Dean Winchester and this is my brother Sam. We are hunters-..of sorts-.." Dean explained to which Ella's face turned a little despondent. Her forensic intellect knew what they were referring to.

"Like hunting monsters? Ghosts, Vampires, Demons, Werewolves-..!?" Ella asked to which the brothers were wide eyed.

"Wait what? You know those things?" Dean asked.

"Yep, after I saw Angels, Lucifer and God himself with my eyes, I knew every other legend in every lore must be pretty much real" she said casually which turned their faces pale.

"Wait God? You mean Chuck?" Sam asked shrinking his temples.

"Yeah-..thats what he like to refer himself-..Wait, you guys have seen him too?" Ella asked, her eyes widened. Then Sam and Dean gave a briefing about themselves, their job as supernatural hunters and the things they have done with Lucifer, Demons, Chuck and finally the last case involving God's sister Amara.

"WOW! JUST-..WOW! So you guys knew Lucifer before us and he never told us he was a big douche before he moved to L.A. And yeah, that whole end of the world things in the Eastern side and a giant weed growing out of the ground in Connecticut!?...Man they suck! But hey, we all have something in common. We both befriended an angel, ours is Amenadiel and yours is Castiel"

"You seem to be taking things like this easily. Usually people get terrified when they learn all these celestial beings exists" Sam said as he and Dean were both surprised Ella's take.

"Honestly, I never believed them to be walking among us. But I always had faith that the big guy above is watching over me. *SIGH*...Before this, I was kinda in a really dark place. But then one day, God himself showed up to me and I felt something so positive since that day. Then I had this urge to find the truth about Lucifer, Amenadiel and finally there I was...huh...being hit in the face with the truth"

"Well, we all have our inner demons. Can say from our experience" Dean said with a smile to which she returned a warm smile.

"Where is Lucifer now? We thought we lost him after that whole debacle with Amara" Dean asked wondering what the prince of darkness is up to these days and if they have to keep track of his activities to stop him before he made any trouble. Even part of him questioned if these new murders were related to him in any capacity.

"He appeared in L.A. 5 years ago and ran one of the biggest nightclubs in Cal state, the LUX. Damn! the chicks there are truly something else. Anyways, he then offered his services as civilian consultant to our LAPD and started dating our detective Chloe Decker. Now they are-..*SIGH*-...happily married and moved to North Dakota" Ella finished to which Dean and Sam kept a straight deadpanned face. They cant believe

"Pfft...right. Lucifer, club and family!? Our lives are getting weirder and weirder man! But lets stick to the case at hand" Dean said to which she nodded.

"Right, so any clues on who the vic are?" Sam asked as they all were standing side by side near one burnt body.

"Every Vic's a John Doe. No IDs, nothing on them to give them away" she said.

"What about injury marks? Were there any signs of blunt trauma..anything like that?" Dean asked.

"Except the bullet wounds, nothing. But I did find something odd in all these bodies" Ella said to which the brothers paid attention.

"These bodies were burnt but there are no signs of in flammables. The interesting part here is the bullet wounds are fresh from a day before. But the autopsy reports say these poor bastards were already dead a month ago. I mean, someone went so far to kill a corpse and burn it. I would say, he is just not right there in the brain, haha!" Ella said feeling sarcastic with the whole situation.

But for Sam and Dean, they have been in this situation more times than they can remember. They both know what they were dealing with.

"Demonic possession. Thats the only possible explanation" Sam said which stunned Ella.

"Wait demonic what!?-...No!-...no no! You're right. That explains the traces of sulfur I found in all these bodies!" She said to which the brothers raised their eyebrows.

"What!? C'mon ever since I knew everything, I started to dwell a bit into supernatural things too" Ella said to which shrugged simply.

"But Dean, who could have killed them? Any hunters in CAL state?" Sam asked.

"As far as we know, Bobby never had any intel on any hunters here. Even Dad's journal-...Wait, what about that strange motorcycle and that rider wearing the red trench coat, captured by surveillance cameras?" Dean asked.

"Yeah! Ella, do we have access to the footage?" Sam asked the forensic expert.

"I do. Come here!" She said as she reached out to her laptop in the desk and opened up the files that had the footage.

The three saw the video footage from a viewpoint across the street that looks at the alley where the bodies were present.

"Actually one more weirdness in this video. At first I thought it was a glitch due to some hardware malfunction or anything. But nothing of that sort. Look at the pamphlet on the road. Its moving normally and then-.." She said after which the pamphlet stopped moving and even the mild mist that was visible from the illumination of street lights stopped flowing as if frozen all of a sudden.

"Maybe you're right, the camera could have stopped working" Dean said sensing nothing special here.

"Thats what I thought. But there was another camera at a certain distance that took the footage at the same time and it didn't freeze. But look at the environment it captured. Everything was rolling except that area. Its as if-..."

"Time-...Time itself has stopped moving in that zone!" Sam finally came to a dreaded conclusion that terrorized them. Who could even possibly do that?

"I knew Amenadiel, Lucifer's brother used to have that mojo. But ever since he became the new god after Chuck retired, he rarely visited us. So we can rule him out" Ella said.

"Could it be Cronos? We ran into him in the past, maybe he returned?" Dean asked running different possibilities.

"No, Cas mentioned that he has never sensed Cronos's avatars in the world ever since that case years ago" Sam replied to which he nodded frustratingly as this was not helping.

"What about that motorcycle rider?" Dean asked as the three were about to see the final clue.

They switched the footage and finally saw the mysterious white haired guy, wearing a wine red colored long trench coat. His face was not so clear due to low resolution. He was riding an oddly looking motorcycle at great speed.

"Who the hell is that guy!?" Dean asked.

"Must be somehow connected to this murders. Could he be one of those hunters you mentioned?" Ella asked curiously.

"Not sure until we find and ask him ourselves! Dean, let's call Cas. We may need his help on this" Sam said determined to see this through.

"No arguments there. Ella, thank you so much! By the way this is our contact number. If you find anything else, please let us know" Dean said handing over a contact card to her which she took few seconds to browse through.

"Seguro amigos!" she said with a smirk.

"By the way, we would like a copy of those footage. I will be easy for us to investigate from our end." Sam said to which Ella handed over a flash drive that had a copy of these media files. Sam took it and put it in his coat's pocket.

Dean and Sam then left the precinct as they called their angel friend Cas who had the auto voice mail enabled.

"Hey Cas, uhhh-...we've got a problem! Come and meet us at Pasadena, in the burger point, thanks" Dean said as he closed his phone.

"Maybe we should summon Crowley to ask if he let his demons run rogue in the streets" Sam said.

"Thats in the cards too. But lets take one step at a time. If Crowley's behind this, then we know what to do" Dean replied.

...

At Devil May Cry agency...
Louisiana...

Dante was seated in his chair leaning back with his legs up on the desk.

"So, what did you learn?" a woman's voice came out as he woke up abruptly only to see his friend Trish.

"Whoa Trish! Cant you just knock? I was having a good nap!" Dante berated her.

"Stop being such a cry baby Dante! I take it you went to L.A then?" she said as she took a seat in the sofa.

"Yep and guess you're right on the money. Some big baddy is gonna blast through the doorway to Earth" he said with a jest.

"That means we have a huge work cut out for us! Anyway did those demons gave any name?" Trish asked curiously.

"Some crappy monikers like-...uhh...yeah, lord of terror, prime evil...yadda yadda..." Dante said recalling what those demons he killed said before dying.

"Hmmm, doesn't ring any bell. I'll keep digging more, check my sources and let you know if anything comes up. See you until then, baby!"

"Take care Trish!" Dante said as he leaned back in his chair only to hear a deep growling voice calling out to him.

"DANTE!"

Dante instantly recognized that voice and he was quite surprised he called out to him. Dante once again sat straight in the chair as he summoned a demonic gauntlet in his left arm that had a serpent eye in the back side of the palm.

"Balrog! Did you just call me out!? I'm surprised man!" Dante said with a smile.]

"THE MONIKERS THOSE DEMONS USED ARE NOT SOME BLABBER. THERE WAS ONCE A POWERFUL EVIL BEING IN THE UNDERWORLD THAT TERRORIZED EVERYTHING THAT EXISTED" the king of the fire hell stated.

"Really!? well well, Looks like this wont be a total waste of time after all!" Dante said, now curious to learn what the demon has to say.

"HUNDREDS OF MILLENNIA AGO, LUCIFER ENLISTED ME AND YOUR FATHER'S HELP TO BRING DOWN THAT DEMON AND SEAL HIM AWAY. BUT-...IT SEEMS SOMEONE IS TRYING TO BRING ONE OF THE PRIME EVILS BACK. WE NEED TO STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING!" Balrog said.

"Tell me everything about it. Coming all this way to wake me up and say this, must be something important. I'm all ears" Dante surmised as he was ready to hear the story out.

"LET ME TELL YOU THE STORY-..." Balrog said as Dante was listening carefully.

...

At the burger point
Pasadena...

Sam and Dean ordered a ham burger and Dean was loving the taste of it judging by the way he ate it.

"Dude, its not the end of the world! Take it slow man!" Sam said smirking at his brother

"Its been a while since I tasted this and I'm going all in, Sammy!" Dean gave a smug response to which Sam nodded and sighed.

Thats when they were greeted by the sight of their old friend, an angel, Castiel.

"Cas!" Dean called out from the entrance as he waved his hands to them and approached their table.

"I got your voice mail about something important. What happened?" Cas asked in his usual monotonic voice.

"First, how did it go with Claire? She still pissed off?" Dean asked.

"Well, she asked me to take to a theme park. Said, she always wanted to go there for a long time. Then helped take down a wendigo, she has been tracking in Arkansas" Cas replied.

"Haha, talk about family bonding time!" Dean chuckled.

"Ahem, Either way, about the reason we called you. We heard about some weird murders here in Los Angeles. So we came here and checked the bodies confiscated by the LAPD. The victims were possessed by demons" Sam said which got Cas's attention.

"Demons!?" he asked.

"Yes and we think a new unknown mysterious hunter or angel or demon, God knows what could have been involved" Dean said.

"Why do you say it like that?" Cas asked confused at Dean's statement.

"Because look at this" Sam said as he took out his laptop from the bag, turned it on and inserted the flash drive. Then he opened the video files that had the street camera footage. Cas watched the footage and was quite shocked at what he witnessed.

"Is that-...did someone stop time there? That cant be possible! I checked thoroughly and didn't find any traces of Cronos's activities" Cas said running all possible scenarios.

"We also heard your big brother named Amenadiel' has that mojo. Someone you missed to mentioned before maybe!?" Dean asked sarcastically that took Cas back.

"Well, he has that power, true. But now he is the new God, replaced our father. He no longer involve in these earthly matters" Cas said.

"Did you know Lucifer has been spending 5 years in L.A running a night club and working a civilian consultant to LAPD!?" Sam asked wondering if Cas hid any info from the brothers. Cas couldn't deny them and felt a bit guilty for not telling the Winchesters about this already.

"Yes, me and Amenadiel were keeping an eye on him. But he has changed-...a lot. Maybe that last encounter with Amara really took a toll on him. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this before. But we wanted to keep this under tables so as not to raise too much suspicion and drag unwanted attention" Cas justified his actions. Sam and Dean though understood his motives and didn't feel angry at him. After all these years together, the brothers consider him family.

"Thanks! By the way is there anything else in the footage?" Cas asked.

"Keep watching" Sam said to which Cas continued to look at the footage. Then he saw a strange white haired guy in a long red trench coat coming out of the same alley that froze for few minutes. The Cas watched as he rode his bike towards the camera's path and the angel managed to get a peek into the rider's low resolution face though he almost quite figured it out. Cas was stunned to see the bike rider, wide eyed which didn't escape the Winchester's attention.

"Could it possibly be him? I didn't know he could be involved" Cas said to which Sam and Dean were confused.

"Who's involved?" Dean asked. Cas sighed as he glanced at the brothers and spoke.

"We need to go to Louisiana. I will come with you in the car. I think I know who that is..." Cas said to which the Winchesters shared a look at one another.

...-...

A/N: Thats the first chapter. This story will follow episodic story telling like the Supernatural series. Hope you enjoyed it and let me know your thoughts.
