[Outside the Sakura Empire Dorm 6pm]
"Shikikan-sama, will you be alright?" Kaga asked with a concerned expression as she leaned into his vision.
"Hm? Yeah, I'll be fine. I'll feel even better once I talk to Nagato and Amagi about it." He said with a smile. "I dont want to ruin the mood tonight, you girls put in alot of effort for this." The raven haired Commander said as took a breath to calm his nerves. "Ok, lets enjoy ourselves shall we?"
The doors to the Sakura dorm slowly swung open as he finished his sentence.
"Shikikan-sama~, we have been awaiting your arrival." A familiar voice said in a respectful tone. He looked at the doorway and saw Atago in a formal kimono. "Your big sister heard you were coming and I wished to look presentable to you." She greeted him with a warm smile, and wrap her arms around his right.
He blushed up a storm as his arm nestled between something soft. "Atago, ease up on your grip just a bit, please." He stuttered out.
The dog girl just smiled, "Does the Master like how big sisters chest feels?" She asked with a tittering giggle. " Kaga-san, Amagi asked for you to change into a formal state as well." Atago adressed the carrier. "Its for the Master after all."
Both Kaga and Kriv both raised an eyebrow. "I shall go see Amagi at once." Kaga responded, as she bowed to Kriv. "I will see you soon, Shikikan-sama."
He waved her down. "Please, Kaga your not required to call me 'sama'. Commander or Kriv will do just fine." He chuckled nervously as she walked away. He immediately turned his head to face Atago. "Master?" A confused tone was dominate in his voice. "Care to explain?"
Atago giggled once more. "You defeated my adorable baby sister, Maya, and now shes besides herself wanting to best you." She started to explain.
"Im always willing to spar with you all at anytime. Atago just say it. I have little patience for games today." He requested her to clarify quickly.
"As you wish. When you rolled my legs and mounted me you asserted your dominance over me." Atago said sporting a blush.
"Im sorry? Mounted you?" Kriv coughed as he choked on something in his throat. They had made their way inside the dorm "I wouldnt call that mounting you Atago-nee I'd call that leverage." He clarified as he let slip the '-nee' honorific.
"Shikikan, call me that again." Atago said in an excited tone. Her excitement lead to her hopping excitedly in place.
After he grabbed a glass of water, he rolled his eyes and gained a smirk. "Whatever do you mean, Atago?" He corrected the slip, and took a drink.
"Mouu, Shikikan your so mean. Getting me all excited, then leaving me." She pouted as he walked away.
Kriv laughed as he walked towards the smell of food. "Mmm, smells good. early compliments to the chefs for their hard work." He said as he passed by the kitchen and made his way to the dinning area.
"Ah, Lady Nagato. Thank you for the invite, and the banquet even though it wasnt required." He said as he entered the room. It was of simple Sakura Empire design with a long table at the center with Nagato sitting at the right end.
"Please, Commander allow us to show you some hopitality." Nagato said with a smile. "Take a seat at the middle you are our guest of honor."
"I guess I can take it easy tonight then." He said as he took his seat.
[7pm]
To say the Sakura destroyers were excited to see the new Commander was an understatement. Mutsuki had lead a welcome 'sneak attack' but she was noticed just before she could intiate. "Mutsuki, I know your excited to meet the new Commander, but must you really attempt to sneak attack?" Amagi asked as she sat down next to him to 'protect' him.
"Mutsuki, bring your friends here. I have a gift for you girls." Kriv said as he took a sip of tea that was offered to him by a returning Kaga.
"Guys! The new Commander got us a gift!" She yelled to get her friends here now. A rumble of tiny footsteps later, one small destroyer became a group of seven or eight small destroyers.
"Good job, Mutsuki." Kriv praise the childish destroyer. "Now, Amagi? I will you assist me in delivering this gift?" the Commander asked as he took another sip of Tea. "All I need for you to do is stay where you are."
"As you wish, Shikikan-sama." The magenta eyed kitsune agreed.
"Now," he turned to the destroyers and smiled. "When I say go. I need you girls to countdown from five while looking at Amagi-nee." Mutsuki and the rest of the destroyers nodded excitedly. "Alright, ready and go."
"5!"
"4!"
"3!" As if in a instant, Amagi felt something get put in her hidden hands. She looked confused but then immediately realized what it was.
"2!" Kriv smiled and looked ready to give the follow up command.
"1!"
"Amagi, would you please show the destroyers what it is in your hands?" Kriv asked with bright smile.
"My hands? Ooo Shikikan, how much did you buy? This looks like alot." Amagi feigned confusion at the beginning.
"I bought them enough to last a couple days. Candy doesnt exactly grow on treeeeees!" He yelled the end of that sentence, as he was tackled to the ground by the tiny destroyers.
"Thank you Commander!" They said in unison as they got off of him as Houshou rounded them up.
"Just be sure to make it last the week, I'll know if it doesnt." He said as her pat each child on the head.
"How?" One of them asked in a curious tone.
"Kisaragi, I cant tell you, then you'd know my secret." He chuckled with a shake of his head.
"Now children its time for bed, if you behave maybe the Commander will read you a bedtime story before the rest of us celebrate his appointment." Houshou said as she turned to Kriv. "Do you mind?" Her tone was sweet as was her demeanor.
"I dont mind, whats the story?" He asked as he helped her put the children to bed.
[8pm]
After reading the last child a story, he was making his was back to the dinning room. He was lost in thought as he walked into someone and they both fell over.
[Crash]
"Aaah!" a woman yelled.
"Oof." he grunted.
"Apologies, hm? Oh my Commander?! Im so sorry!" She quickly realized who she bumped into, and just as quickly apologized.
He quickly got up, and offered her a hand. "Its fine, Im not hurt. Im not upset either, so please dont be scared."
She hesitantly took his hand, pulled herself up, and straightened her dress out. "Oh no! I spilled the drinks all over you, Commander. You dont happen to have a change of clothes with you?" She panicked as she pat him down to get his outfit dry.
"Miss, please." He sighed as he tried to get her to stop by gently holding her wrists. "Just show me to the closest bathroom and I can change, Miss..." He stalled trying to get her name.
"My names Kashino." Kashino is a munitions ship. To his knowledge, she provided guns, munitions, and overall support to the various Sakura ships. Kashino stands at around 5 foot 9 inches tall, has bright violet eyes, and long brown hair that reaches just below her waist. She wears a standard Sakura officer uniform but instead of primarily gold trimming, she has purple cuffs and a purple skirt that reaches mid thigh, thigh highs(or stockings that reach her lower thigh) adorn her legs, as she wears black dress shoes. "Commander, the nearest bathroom is actually closer to the festivities. I was headed that way to enjoy the night myself." She said with a smile after she calmed down quite a bit.
"Then please, allow me to escort you there, since its on the way to my destination." He offered a hand with a smile, and the duo were lost in convesation until they reached the party.
"Let the others know I'll be quick." He said as he disappeared into the bathroom to change into his gray sweatpants that he brought from his office.
[At the Banquet]
Kashino walked in and greeted everyone. "Everyone, the Commander will be just a bit longer. He had to change, but he'll be quick!"
"You heard her, bust out the good stuff!" A dark skinned Battleship yelled from the back of the room.
"You heard Owari! Lets do it!" Kii yelled from next to the battleship.
"I'm gone for a few extra minutes, and you girls want to drink without me? Im hurt." Kriv said in a mock hurt tone. He smiled as he sat back down. He had changed into a pair of grey sweatpants, and a long sleeve Navy Blue shirt that he kept in the office just incase he needed a quick change.
"Can we Shikikan-sama~?" Akagi, the brown haired fox woman in red asked.
Kriv looked around the room. "As long as I can take the first shot. I dont care."
The room immediately filled with cheers, the openning of Sake and a few other alcohoic beverages, and glasses clanging together in the official celebration.
[Friday Morning 11am]
[Sakura Dorm Krivs Room]
"Commander? It's 11am!" Atago said in a muffled voice as she knocked on his door.
"Huh, Ow." Krivs eyes fluttered open and he immediately regrets letting the near mid day sun into his eyes.
[Knock Knock]
"Come in?" He was confused and kind of hoping it was Belfast with his coffee.
"Shikikan-sama, Onee-san is he- Ara?" Atago started to tease him but stopped mid away through. "Oh my Commander. Your such a playboy." She teased with a flustered look on her face.
"Hm? What do you mea- oh dear." He said as he tried to sit up, but quickly found that he couldnt due to a weight on his arm.
"Im kind of jealous, you partake of my sister after teasing me all evening last night." She said in a huff and a pout.
"What are you talking about Atago? I havent seen Maya since we sparred." Krivs eyes struggled to adjust.
As if on queue, the weight on his right shifted and sat up. As they sat up, the cover fell and revealed Takao. A very naked Takao. "Sister, why are you so loud?" she asked as she tried to block the sun with her hand.
"Gods, Im tired. Takao, your in my bed, naked, and you more than likely have my scent on you." Kriv said bluntly trying to go back to sleep. "Im tired, and theres another mystery woman in my bed." He said in suprise.
"She smells of Foxes, Shikikan." Takao said, and Atago comfirmed. Kriv himself knew of only 4 or 5 foxgirls within the Sakura fleet.
"I pray to the gods its not Nagato." He said as it would be very awkward if he slept with one of the people who appointed him to his current job. He took his trapped hand and gently shook the woman awake. "Hey, its time to wake up." He said gently before they grunted and sat up. The revealed form of a naked Kaga graced the rooms other occupants.
"Ara, Shikikan-sama partaking of the most reserved of us? You truly are a playboy." Atago huffed in a pout but those words held no heat.
"Kriv-sama? what time is it?" Kaga asked wanting to go back to sleep.
"11am."
"I must go back to my room and prepare for todays sortie." She said as she slowly slipped out of his bed.
"Be safe out there Kaga." Kriv said as he watched her change and leave.
"As you wish, Kriv-sama." She said as she left to prepare.
"Takao, go get Maya and wait for Shikikan and I outside." Atago said as she pushed her sister out of Krivs room.
"Sister?"
"Dont interupt, dear sister." Atago said with a 'smile', and shut Krivs door.
"Atago? Why are you looking at me like...? Oh dear." He started to ask in confusion until it hit him like a truck.
"Ara, give Onee-san your love Shikikan-sama!"
"Hey Takaoo." He called from behind his door.
"Shikikan?"
"If uh, I'm tired when I see you, you'll know why." Kriv said, his voice uneven.
She sighed, "Sister, dont hurt him!"
"Shikikan-sama~." She heard her Atago purr.
As she walked away, to get changed and fetch Maya. The door rattled in a rhythm, indicating Atago got her way. Whether Kriv actually put up a fight or not was still a question. But considering him and half of the Sakura fleet drank til 3am. It was safe to say that dealing with a hangover while trying to fend off a horny Atago wasnt an ideal way to start his afternoon.
[Path to the Ironblood dorm- 1pm]
Kriv is dressed in some black jeans and a black t-shirt with the kanji for 'Devil' diagonally across his chest in red. Another outfit that somehow survived.
The scene on the path is as such. Maya stood next to Kriv on his right, a very satisfied Atago clinging to his left, and Takao keeping an eye in front of them.
"So Commander, any reason I can smell my sisters scent on you?" Maya spoke up finally breaking the deafening silence.
"Atago jumped me while I had a hangover , I dont really remember how Takao ended up in my bed." He answered truthfully. "The last thing I remember is kissing her good night, outside of my room, before everything gets very foggy." He spoke a half truth. Maya didnt need to know the details and they were actually pretty fuzzy.
Atago nuzzled her face to his arm. "He's amazing Maya, you should give him a try." Her teasing tone in full swing.
"Atago!" "Sister!"
"What? Takao, you must agree, do you not?" She Atago asked her elder sister.
"I dont remember much either, just the kiss goodnight, and the rest is foggy as well." Takao also said truthfully.
"Follow up question, how close did you two get in one night? Because, sister Kao, you hardly open up to anyone." Maya asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The night was winding down, and I wanted to keep going due to a certain circumstance, and she lent me her ear, and I lent her mine." He said with a shrug. He looked at the sky and sighed. "Last night, I felt at ease. I felt accepted, Granted, I'd didnt expect to get drunk and fuck two of you. I certainly didnt expect to get jumped by a 3rd woman within my first week." He admitted.
Atago simply held his arm closer to her chest.
"I will give you a warning now, Atago." Kriv started in a low voice. "Just because I felt good inside of you, doesnt mean that I have feelings for you. I was hungover and you jumped me. By all means, I should report you to Nagato." In his peripheral he saw she shrunk at every word. "But, Im very forgiving. Your not a bad person, you just wanted my affection right?" She nodded shakily, not wanting to upset her Commander that was talking, not Kriv from last night/this morning. "If want that from me, just be there for me like I asked Takao and Kaga."
"Commander, we have arrived at the Ironblood dorms." Takao said as she tugged his arm free from her sister. "Maya, Atago. Wait here. I'll introduce Kriv to them."
[Ironblood Dorm- Lobby-130pm]
To call the dorms of the Ironblood, 'dorms' is quite the understatment. The 'Grand Peak of Ironblood Ingenuity', as they frequently proclaimed, looked more like a mansion than a dorm building.
"Ah, Kommandant, Miss Takao, what brings you to our dorm?" A voice asked as they noticed the visitors.
"Niimi, its good to see you. My sisters and I are showing Shikikan around the island." Takao said with a smile.
"and since they were doing that I figured I could visit the dorms as see how things are. That reminds me, is Bismarck or Prinz Eugen in?" He asked as her scanned the area.
With perfect timing, slender arms wrapped around his waist and a familiar pair of boobs on his back. "You called for me Kommandant?" The familiar teasing of Eugen reached his ears.
"I did Eugen." He said said as he grasped her hand and twirled her around once.
"My, my Kommnadant seems like you found yourself." She said with a smile.
"I did, with some help, of course."
"How can I help you Kommandant?" She asked her teasing smile never leaving her visage.
"Im asking each faction to set aside a room for me. Since as you know, a certain cat decided to play with explosives." He said while shaking his head.
"Of course we can accomodate you Kommandant! As you can see we have plenty of room, or you could room with a lucky woman." Her sentence ended with her teasing him.
"Come now, Eugen, Im not that desirable." Kriv said waving off the idea of half the fleet wanting to bed him. Eugen sneezed, along with a handful of Ironblood Kansen that happened to be lurking nearby.
"Excuse me, I dont know where that came from." She said dismissively and she laughed nervously.
Kriv and Takao shared a look, and shook their heads. Not believing a single word Eugen said, as she pulled Kriv into her closer into her bust. "Eugen, can you pass my request to Bismarck?" He asked as he gently pulled himself free from her clutches.
"Oi! Eugen where are you at?! I want to go get something for Komman-" An angry voice came from the second floor, that stopped mid sentence.
"and that must be, Admiral Hipper. Glad to be working with you girls, please convey my excitement to the rest of the Ironblood. I hope to see the 'pinnacle of Kansen tech' at work." He said as he gave Eugen a smile and walked back outside the dorm with Takao close behind.
"We'll make you proud, Kommandant, and Bismarck will recieve your request." Eugen said waving goodbye.
[Path to Iris/Vichiya Dorms -230pm]
The atomsphere got a lot lighter around the quartet, as they made their way to the Iris/Vichiya dorm.
Maya finally satsified after another round questons. Takao and Kriv were drunk. He got bold and flirted with her. Takao responded positively to his advances, and when they went back to Krivs room Kaga was already waiting for him; Also drunk. Maya finally dropped the other subject of why he smelled of Ironblood perfume. Apparently somehow Eugen knew they would visit the Ironblood first.
Atago stayed quiet and simply held his arm. "Atago? Are you ok?" Kriv looked at the girl in concern. Maybe I was too hard on her. One of the many thoughts he had so far.
"Onee-" she stopped before the first word left her lips.
"Maya, Takao please go ahead so we can talk?" He asked and the sisters nodded.
"Shikikan, Im sorry for this morning. I was jealous, and hurt from what you said last night."
"Last night?"
"Shikikan, call it leverage or something else, but you truly mounted me. You pinned me down, but refused to claim what is rightfully yours." Atago tried to convey this by holding his hand tight.
"Atago, I refuse to force myself upon you, if thats what your wondering. If I were to claim you what then?" He said looking her in the eye.
"I'd be yours and yours alone. You may have others, but to me you are enough." Her eyes were getting misty. She... wholeheartedly believed herself belonging to him and him alone. Besting her in that spar was enough? There had to be more too it.
He sighed finding the whole situation troublesome. "Fine. Atago-nee, I need you to be yourself again. Being sad doesnt suit your pretty face." He said as he gave her a quick peck on the cheek, and caught up to the other sisters. He intentionally used 'nee' this time. He remembered she was excited what he let it slip.
"Shikikan, Shikikan, Shikikan. Say it again, Say it again!" Her mood did a 180 degree turn. She felt like she was on cloud nine hearing him use 'nee'. "Onee-san will guide you on the journey to being the best Shikikan we've ever had." She purred in his ear, after she caught up to him and jumped on his back.
"Easy, Atago-nee." He said as he steadied himself, he clearly didnt expect her to jump on him. "So who wants to introduce me to the Iris girls?" He asked as the group walked up to the Iris dorm.
[Vichiya/Iris Dorm 3pm]
Cats. Was the thought running through Jean Barts head as she was just walking towards the dorm lobby, being followed by an abnormal ammount of cats. The Vichiya woman sighed, another boring day with nothing to do. I wonder what Commandant is up too. I could show him around the base. The thought ran through her head for all of a couple seconds before she noticed 3 figures standing at the gate to the Iris dorm. Nope, 4 figures, 1 male and 3 females.
The group seperated and the male and a single female started walking towards thru the gate.
"Commandant! Good to see you!" Jean called out to the figure as it became clear that it was him. "Bringing your girlfriend to visit us? So many of us Iris girls would be so heartbroken, if you were claimed so fast after a week." Jean teased with a smirk.
"Lucky for you Iris girls, Master isnt dating anyone yet." Atago said with a huff.
"Its ok Atago, shes only teasing. Jean, is Richieliu in? I need to speak with both of you on a matter." Kriv said sitting on the porch of the dorm.
"I believe she is, allow me to go get her." Jean said as she went inside.
Atago sat beside him, and waited for only a few minutes before Jean returned with Richieliu.
"Commandant, when my sister said you asked for my presence, I did not expect it so soon." She said with a smile.
"I didnt expect it to be either, Dame Cardinal. But a certain cat made my quarters go up in smoke. As you know by now." Kriv started off by explaining why he was making this request. "and so Im asking the leaders of each faction to let me have a spare room. Mainly to get to know you ladies better." He said with a smile.
"I dont know, Commandant, having a man in our dorm... it is alot of temptation for these holy women of god." Richieliu said with uncertainty in her voice.
"Thats understandable, Cardinal. But, it would also be a good test for them, to see if they can resist the temptation of a man living with them." Kriv started to point out. "Did the previous Commander...?" He let the question hang.
"No, he was too much of a prude. Even for Richieliu, and thats saying something." Jean Bart cut in. "I think its a great idea, Commandant. How often will you be staying with us?" She asked.
"I will be rotating residences every month. Im currently saying with the Sakura. Hence why, Atago-nee is with me right now. She and her sisters are currently showing me around the base to make sure I can get familiarized with everything a bit qucker." Kriv said as Atago leaned on him.
"Master, is very a very gentle man; please consider this request, Cardinal Richieliu." Atago said as she respectfully bowed to the sisters.
"Atago, you called Commandant. 'Master' why?" Jean Bart asked as Atago sat back down.
Atago just gave Jean a smirk.
"Fair enough." Jean said with a smirk of her own.
Kriv shook his head, and Richieliu was confused.
"Jean, make sure your sister stays pure. I dont know, what we'd do if she wasnt." Kriv said with a laugh as he and Atago got up.
"Commandant?"
"Dont worry about it Richieliu. My way of life wont bleed into my professional." He said as he gave each sister a hug.
"I'll be on my way, Atagos sister are waiting for us to continue the guided tour. Thank you for your time, Richieliu." He called back as he and his companion walked back to the Iris gate.
Jean Bart and Richieliu waved the duo goodbye and went back to doing whatever they were doing.
[Sakura Dorms -Krivs room- 10pm]
The rest of his day, he asked the same of the Northern Parliment, the Royal Navy, and the Sardegna Empire. They all agreed but, Queen Elizabeth made it difficult.
"Well, thats done. I should go to the kitchen and get some food." He mused as he stared at the ceiling.
[Knock Knock Knock]
"Shikikan-dono, I brought you some food." An unfamiliar voice that sounded partially alseep.
"I didnt ask for food though." He mused as he moved to open the door.
A woman, with white hair, and white kitsune features, was on the otherside. He immediately knelt and bowed his head. "Shinano? You should'nt be serving me food, or at all. What compels you here?" He asked as she seemed to glide past him and set a tray of food on his personal desk.
"You are aware of This One?" She asked in suprise.
"By name alone, Milady." He said as he brought his tired body up to stand.
"Please, refer to This One as such, Shikikan-dono." She requested as she sleepily stared at him.
"As you wish, however... I doubt you came here just to feed me. Is something wrong?" He agreed but also noticed Shinano had a concern.
"This One does have a minor concern. Were you able to Summon a plane?" She sleepy appearence turned serious.
"One of Kagas Carrier planes, but I havent talked to Nagato or Amagi about it." He answered and immediately clarified. "I dont know, if it was because I was connected to Kaga on the way here, or what. But could that one time." He said as he sat down at his desk.
"Shikikan-dono, when I sleep, I traverse dreams."
"Thats an interesting ability. What did you see?" Kriv asked as he took a quick bite of the food she brought him.
"In one dream when you found this power, you begged the gods to give you more, for selfish gains, to rule. They rejected your plea, so you took it by force." Her visage turned sad, and full of worry.
"Who was I with when I discovered this... ability?" He asked trying to take it all in. Thinking of what that version of him would do.
"Someone with the visage of Akagi." She said her visage and tone left unchanged.
"So, A Siren." He made the next logical conclusion.
Shinano silently nodded.
"I learned of it, while walking here with Kaga. So we already know Im in a different situation." He stated as he leaned back in the chair. "Im not about to go running to the shrine, that Yamashiro and Fuso tend to everyday, and deface it." He said plainly and bluntly.
[Outside the open door]
"Mmm, Milord cares about our hard work sister." Yamashiro said to Fuso as they walked by.
[Back inside Krivs Room]
"I swear, I closed that..." He muttered, then shrugged as he continued his conversation.
"This One is glad to see you stray from that path. Please let Amagi and Nagato know of that summoning." She said as she plopped on his bed. "I must sleep." She said before quickly falling asleep.
"I'll just sleep on the couch then." He said as he quickly said a prayer over his food and ate quietly.
With tomorrow over the horizon, he had one more trip to make before work called for him the next day.

This chapter took a while to even put to paper. I wanted to get it right, and what was planned was changed. I wanted this done in one week, this took at least three weeks, mostly due to wanting it to flow correctly. Hopefully it did that. Personalities are slightly OoC. But, I hope I nailed some of them.
