Over the past weeks, Biffy had essentially become a fourth member to Lee's friend group and would often also hang out with Cam and Holger. Each saw Lee as a friend, and, like all friends, would sometimes get a bit pranky.
"How's it going?" Cam asked. "Hi, Cam, listen to Biffy's idea," responded Holger. "I was just thinking that ever since the whole prank fiasco, Lee's the one who has been considered the best prankster. How about we give him a taste of his own medicine," suggested Biffy with a grin across his face.
The trio of friends already knew Lee was innocent, but the idea of messing with him with a prank was too tempting.
RING RING RING
The bell for dismissal rang and quickly students dispersed from their classrooms, "kay guys, see you around," Lee said before heading out to catch the bus home. "Later Lee," Biffy responded, but he knew he was not going home just yet.
The trio decided to meet at Holger's house, because his was the closest to school but also because his parents weren't at home today, leaving the boys to be distraction-free as they worked on their prank.
"Okay for starters we need to know who is gonna make the call. I don't mean to brag, but I think my impression of Barrage is spot on," explained Biffy. "Let me stop you right there hombre," interjected Cam, "Lee this phone call is in regards to your recent 1 year sentence," said Cam in his best Barrage impression.
Both Holger and Biffy were impressed, despite Cam being…well Cam, he was able to mimic the principal's voice, and was surprisingly really good at it.
"Okay, well that settles who's gonna be talking, here you," Holger said as he passed Cam the phone. "Okay guys, I'll put the phone on speaker but make sure you don't make any noise," Cam said before dialing the Ping's residence. Connecting after a few rings.
PHONE CALL
Lee: Hello?
Cam: Hello, this is Principal Barrage. Is this the Ping's residence?
Lee: O-oh, Principal Barrage, yes this is the Ping's residence. This is Lee speaking.
Cam: Lee, just the person I was looking for, I wanted to chat with you about you having to be in detention.
Lee: Oh sure, what did you want to discuss?
Cam: Well I've been thinking, and I'm starting to believe that one year of detention is too harsh, therefore I was thinking of reducing it to just one more week.
Lee: W-wow, just one more week. That sounds great!
Cam: Well it's good to know you're excited about this. I just have one request.
Lee: Sure!
Cam: You need to man up and ask Tina to the prom!
Lee: W-what. T-tina. P-prom.
At this point Biffy and Holger in the back couldn't hold it in any longer and started bursting out laughing. "What's that sound? Biffy? Holger? Cam, are you behind this?" asked a very annoyed Lee. "You littl-" was all he could get out before Cam hung up the phone, having a fit of laughter overwhelm the trio.
