The quartet approaches the largest house on the planet. "Ace, did any of them see you earlier?"
"I don't know," Ace looks at the house glad she never got one this size, happy with the smallish two story that is now full of love and is about to get a surprise visit from Ryan. "This house is too big."
"You are someone who always lived in smaller places."
"My place is big, but I only have a house with a few rooms for visitors."
"And Graham now," Tegan teases her friend, staring at the house she hopes contains her daughter.
"We fit well together."
"I say, you and Graham are as fit together as the TARDIS and I are fit together."
"Professor, that is one of the best things you can say to me, but he knows how to drive me."
"Ace, please don't put that image in my head," says the Doctor.
"Don't worry, I am just glad what you guys did to us 4 months ago worked. My relationship with Graham has grown even more."
"I'm glad, and know that the two of you are happy."
"Can you care about my happiness, my daughter needs me." Nyssa takes off Tegan following her glaring at the Doctor and Ace.
"You need to stop distracting me Doctor." They follow as Nyssa opens the front door and walks in, she has been in the house a few times and remembers the location of the room her daughter found that was never talked about by the family. "Can you get in contact with Graham?"
"I can," the Doctor feels a vibration. "That must be him," the Doctor reads it, "the three of them are on the way, they found nothing at the house." Ace relaxes. "Ace as much as I hate to say this but."
"Don't relax too much, anything can still happen."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize, let's go find Tegan and Nyssa." Ace walks away and finds them to see Nyssa hold Neeka and crying. "Is she?"
"She's fine," says Tegan as she brings Nyssa and Neeka into her arms.
"I'm glad, now we need to find Adric, Graham and Yaz," Ace points out.
"Mum, where did they go?"
"To the house?"
"I overheard they had eyes on the house." Before anyone could react to that, Ace was gone.
"Doctor," Tegan says.
"Great, the amount of times I saw Ace react like that, we have to go after her." The Doctor informs the three others in the room wiping a hand across their face. "I hope Ace doesn't get lost."
"Doctor, we can find her and protect my son and our friends," Nyssa tries to calm down the Doctor.
"Nyssa it's not just one person I care about now, it's possibly four people."
"Then let's go, Neeka can you get up?"
"Yeah."
Meanwhile on an uneven terrain Ace is moving as fast as possible following a set of three shoe prints, one of them belongs to Graham's shoes as she recognizes the pattern. As Ace approaches a modest house she watches as a goon walks into the house and one keeps watch. "What do you think you're doing?"
"I was wondering if there were more of you." She feels a pressure against her back. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
"What can someone so small do to me?"
"Ok you asked for it," Ace first swings both of her elbows back, reaches behind her, grabs the arm of the guy, swings him forward to where he is now face down first on the ground. She puts one of her boots to keep him down, "you will get your friends to leave that house, and tell them to leave the family that used to live there forever. They are protected and loved by many." Ace notices the other four she is with coming up. "Tegan, use the skills you learned on your father's farm and tie this man up; I am going inside."
"ACE!"
"Doctor, you can not stop me." As Tegan comes up, Nyssa helps hold the man as Tegan hogties him. The Doctor follows Ace in and watches as she takes her bat out of the bag. The guy freezes as he feels something solid on his back. "You better let them go, one of your friends is currently being hogtied, I don't know where your other friend is, but I have others with me." The Doctor comes in and is taken aback by this side of Ace.
"Ace?"
"There is one more, use your brain and find him."
"Ace," Ace hears the voice she wants to hear the most.
"I got it all covered Graham."
"I know you do, but please."
"Don't worry Graham, trust me."
"I trust you more everyday."
"Oh yuck," the goon says, "why don't you two just kiss already."
"Don't you worry your head, as soon as he is safe, a kiss will happen while brother and sister will probably hug while one decides how she is going to show how happy she is that the other is ok. Now listen to me."
"I don't have to." The Doctor comes up with someone in front of him, he is holding what looks like a gun. Ace's eyes go wide.
"Have you guys ever heard of the Oncoming Storm."
"A little bit."
"That is me, now this amazing woman is going easy on you."
"If you are trying to get with her, she is already taken."
"I know, she is important to me, like everyone on the couch and the two that are about to come in."
"No one is important to someone with that name."
"That is where you are wrong. I have many that are important to me. Now let everyone go or something will happen."
"Like what?"
"Let's just see what happens when I let my two pyro loving friends loose if you don't let them go.
"As in," the one Ace has her bat against voice quivers.
"I have been making explosives since I was a teenager, and when I began a relationship with Graham, we started making them together."
"Fine everyone can go, just never return."
Tegan and Nyssa enter the house, "we left originally with no plans to return. Come on, Adric, Yaz, Doctor, Ace and Graham we need to go." Everyone files out Ace firmly grasps Graham's hand.
"I'm ok Honey."
"I know, I was scared. It isn't often that I am scared."
"I know." They enter the TARDIS, everyone is relaxed. The Doctor flies them somewhere they haven't been since taking River there after she used the rest of his regenerations to save his 11th body.
"We have landed on a hospital planet, I want to make sure Neeka, Graham, Adric and Yaz are ok." They walk on, this planet is very strict, Ace, and Tegan since you are not related, you will not be allowed in the exam room.
"WHAT?!" Ace yells. "I know Ace, but they are much more knowledgeable about anything that could've happened to them. The three of you can wait with me."
