A/N: And I bring the conclusion to this story. Hope you like it.

OOOOOOOOOOOO

Sesshomaru looked over at Calli as she stretched. She glared at him when she felt him looking at her.

"You are still on my shit list, Mister," she growled, pointing at him.

"It's been a week," Sesshomaru commented, keeping his voice soft. "You should be over this nonsense by now."

"Too. Bad." Calli kept out of his reach. "I'm still mad at you. And I'm not going to stop any time soon."

"Calli."

"I'll stop being mad when you take the choker off of me."

Sesshomaru shook his head. "No."

"You're a jerk." Calli hefted a laundry basket with more ease than she had before. "And I'm not stopping with the anger. You deserve it."

Sesshomaru followed her through the house to the laundry room. His little mate was confusing. How could she be mad at someone she loved just because he did what he could to extend her life?

"You're strange," Sesshomaru decided.

Calli flipped her middle finger at him and then shifted the contents of the basket into a machine. "Go away if you can't deal with it."

Sesshomaru gripped her by the hips and set her on top of the now growling machine. "Behave."

Calli huffed and crossed her arms. "You're double the jerk."

Sesshomaru set himself between her legs. Calli reached out to push him back, but Sesshoamru caught her hand.

"No," he said. "I saved you from a lot of pain. I gave you strength. I extended your life. Do you not want to live a long life with me?"

Calli stared at his pelt. "I have never said that I didn't."

"You're acting like it though," Sesshomaru said, frowning. "You don't act like you want me to enjoy a life with you. Beyond your human life."

"Fuck, Sesshomaru! I want to spend more years with you. But you should have asked me or found some way to get me those years without giving all my personalities demonic powers."

Sesshomaru gripped her thighs. "There were no easier options."

"Sometimes, easy is not always the best…"

Calli put her hands on him – one on his cheek and the other on his shoulder. Sesshomaru leaned into her touch.

"Sesshomaru, you need to take it off."

Sesshomaru closed his eyes. "There…there is a problem with that."

Calli frowned. "Let me guess. I did if you take it off?"

Sesshomaru nodded.

"Fuck."

Calli rested her forehead against his. Sesshomaru could feel her anger move away from her nad shift into sadness. He wished that he could protect her from those emotions.

"If you die…will I be stuck like this? Or…?"

Sesshomaru shook his head. "No one has lasted this long with the choker on."

Calli sighed. "I see…another unknown in my life."

"I'm sorry."

The corner of Calli's lips turned up. "The Great Demon Lord apologizes finally? What did it cost to earn that honor?"

Sesshomaru closed his eyes . "I cannot lose you, Calli. You are a strange creature. Strange in all the ways that you are beautiful. I cannot be without you…no one… no one could replace you."

Calli pressed a kiss to the tip of his nose. "So cute when you're vulnerable like this, my Fluffy-sama."

Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed. "You promised that you would end that name."

"Did I?" Calli's thighs squeezed him. "What does that mean for me, Fluffy-sama?"

Sesshomaru smirked. "Are you ready to find out?"

OOOOOOOOOOOOO

Calli gripped the arm of the couch tightly to keep from falling head first over it as she cried out. Sesshomaru thrust into her from behind, earning loud moans of pleasure until it all built up to a scream of ecstasy. Sesshomaru growled and released inside her quaking body.

Calli giggled as he pulled from her and settled on the couch, arranging his pelt carefully. Calli was pulled onto his lap and he rubbed her back soothingly as she came down from her sex-driven high,

"Bad boy," she teased, smacking him on the chest.

Sesshomaru looked at her patiently. "Am I forgiven?"

"Yes."

"Even though we destroyed several pieces of your furniture?"

Calli hardly glanced at the wrecked living room. "Material things can be replaced."

Sesshomaru nodded. "Then there will be no more arguing about you being in a good state of being now?"

Calli's eyes flickered with annoyance but only briefly. "It's not like I have much choice."

"Calli."

"Lover Boy."

Sesshomaru's hand tightened on her hip. "You could treat me with more respect, you know? I am a Demon Lord."

Calli smiled. "And I am the Queen of Spooky Things. That trumps your stature."

"Queen of Spooky Things is hardly a title. You rule over no one."

She poked his nose. "Says you."

Sesshomaru held her gaze. "You'd be better suited as a demon lord's wife."

Calli blinked. "Are you – are you proposing that I marry you?"

Sesshomaru's eyes hardened. "Yes."

"Can't you do it nicer?" Calli asked, tilting her head to the side. "I am not your enemy. I am not an enemy's whatever. I am the girl you came across oceans of time to see and stay with."

Sesshomaru sighed. "Calli, you are to marry me as I am. I will not seek no other mate. Nor will I allow you to replace me."

Calli settled against him. "I guess I have no choice. Seeing as I love you and you're so demanding…"

Calli interlocked her fingers with his. Sesshomaru held her close and breathed in her scent. Just as strangely pleasant as the rest of her.

"Mother will be pleased."

"That you're settling down?"

"Yes."

"But with a human-turned-something?"

"She will learn to deal with it."

And we're not having children."

"That is her loss."

Calli nuzzled him. "Good boy."

Sesshomaru smirked. "I'll show you good boy…"

Calli cried out and Sesshomaru laughed softly as he touched her once more.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
