The wolf nodded and ran like a lightning bolt, all his stats were boosted by soul link and he could also use Issei's talents and skills for his use. All he could use was Issei's active skills and his talents but that was enough to make him a threat with his newfound powers.
When they reached near the castle issei saw 9 glowing light balls coming near him slowly. He didn't know these were foes or friends so he used to observe to check how powerful were they

Issei didn't go to Sun Wukong right away as he thought there might be a possibility of fighting the god and he did not have enough power for it, so he went hunting monsters with useful talents or abilities and he caught a Kraken that had a powerful healing talent. After copying the talent he gave the kraken as the food to the old wolf and frost lion as they obtained the talent after eating it. After that, he went and captured a gorilla copied its strength talent, and gave it to his familiars after all the hunting issei had finally made himself and his familiars survive attacks from gods.
