—-- It's my version of the end of the devil summoner timeline. Phantom Society takes over Hirasaki while Rei and Jouhei are in Amami City. They are secretly working for the society without knowing it, and their odd jobs are distractions. Sukeroku has been abandoned, and Jouhei is back in his old identity. Since Phantom could track Rei, there's going to be an explosion at the Detective Office, like some Batman-type situation. The final boss theme is a visualization of millions of Phantom Society members attacking the two, basically destroying Phantom for good and ending all of Devil Summoner. He's in Todoroki, and this is set 5 months before Tsumi. Jouhei is the Devil Summoner protagonist in Soul Hackers and this game. Sukeroku was a disguise to avoid getting caught by Phantom and Algon. Rei is strong, so if she got caught, she could easily beat their faces in. Actually, this happens before Innocent Sin. The Devil Summoner protagonist is just called Jouhei in this timeline, depending on the ending of the original.

Returning characters in Wet Painters: 6 characters return. Since Azama is supposedly still in America with Hitomi, Kumiko has moved on. I think Mary should also return, as they know Victor. Also, some elements of Amami City invade Hirasaki, including terminals, since Phantom built Amami City, and they're still attempting to control it without their leaders, who are all gone. So summoners are struggling to stay alive because their home turf is under the Illuminati. Summoners are doing odd jobs, like it's a 1984 totalitarian regime, and the agency has fewer customers because Phantom is orchestrating Kuzunoha's bankruptcy. But they forget that they are pretty stupid since this makes them suspicious of Phantom, and then a massive genocide happens in the Final Dungeon (Chu-Oh Phantom Property Police Station).

And all of Phantom gets wiped out; it's quite grim. Rei and Jouhei go back to their agency and look at each other in silence as the credits roll. The final thing to note is that Ginko is a party member, Thrill, and finally Victor and Mary, since everyone is under attack after all the odd jobs are done. They all stick together in an all-out attack.

By the way, Hirasaki City was going to blow up like that scene in Fight Club. Phantom was desperate, so depending on how fast you commit genocide on Phantom, the city blows up or it doesn't. The themes are: You should always be skeptical of things that don't seem right; don't accept your reality if it feels off. Let go of the past, and you're never in full control; you're minuscule, no matter how powerful you are.

(Idea) Devil Summoner Wet Painters is a JRPG in the Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner Spin-off, released in 1999 as a Sony PlayStation exclusive.

The game follows the events after Devil Summoner Soul Hackers were taken back to Hirasaki City. Things seem very peaceful, so Jouhei (also known as Sukeroku) seems to be struggling to get clients in the agency. He starts an odd job division for Kuzunohas, secretly just for destroying demon pests and painting houses. The game ends with them fighting the Phantom Society in an artistic summoner fight.

The tone is a lot more chill than the first, and they eventually beat zombie demons of Picasso, Van Gogh, and more.

[ Chapter 1. The Scheme Of A Lifetime]

The night looms as Amami City's lights snuff out, as the airplanes screech in the night sky there is something that's odd. High on top the Amami Monolith is a figure bruised and battered with cuts from head to toe and head sliced like a melon blood drips from the monolith onto Nikamimons streets, suddenly the roof door gets slammed and two people arrive.

"Sukeroku, Quick help me pick him up, we need to resurrect him, Jouhei !! Focus we need to save this man," a feminine voice shouts.

"He seems familiar well it's unfortunate that his death was unavoidable," The figure in blue says.

The two shadowy figures raise the corpse onto their shoulders and drag him through the monolith. The Duo get in a car with a seemingly appearance of a coffin wheeler normally seen at church but there's something different; it has a Clover Logo that reads: "Clover Gym." The vehicle departs as the sound of a trailer passes by with a logo with a snarky ghost and the title "Spookies."

The Duo drive through the roundabout, and the truck disappears heading for the newly renovated airport. The Clover Wagon takes a U-turn into the woods leading to darkness with a sign that says "You are Now Leaving Amami City" visible. As the Wagon drives through the woods, another sign says "Welcome To Hirasaki We Hope You Have A Nice Time" with a logo of a dog eating a cookie as a mascot wearing marbles around its neck. The wagon speeds through the night and comes to a complete stop at a mall that reads "Yaraiginza-Cho Commercial Mall Arcade." The two step out of the car and open the trunk dragging the corpse into the enclosed mall.

"Jouhei, you sure he's gonna survive Necroma?" She asks, "I'm sure he will not worry, Mitsuba Sanpei is a master at his craft, so don't worry he will be just fine. They drag the body to a gym and open the door. Inside there is nothing but an empty hallway and a door. The door opens and we see a bald man wearing a clover eyepatch and a blue dress with dark blue gloves.

"Welcome, welcome, my dear summoners, step inside and I shall resurrect this old poor soul," The man says. The Duo dragged the body inside and put him in a chair.

"So how do you do this exactly?" Jouhei Kuzunoha asks. "Ah, you see, I eat a lot of magnetite in my diet, so I have started developing demon abilities, and I ensure that my diet is regulated so I don't lose my humanity," Mitsuba says with joy.

"Ah, interesting…uhh yeah, how much for 70 mg of magnetite?" Jouhei says interested. "Jouhei, you do realize I already have demon assistance from spiritual training, you don't really need to do this because I know your bladder is getting Kuru Stone, which is worse than kidney stones, by the way, those are the size of marbles and they also have the effect of making your testicular veins rupting, you see Mitsuba is impotent and he's doing this sacrifice for us, so when I say this is not worth it, it really isn't and old Jouhei rotting in hell would not care because he desired to die, but you Jouhei... Sorry I know you don't have a name, I know, but I don't like calling you Sukeroku, uhh, it makes me uncomfortable knowing that you sure kiss a lot of demons you negotiate with, so Jouhei, don't take magnetite, okay?" Rei says with all her strength and real feelings unleashed.

"Rei, I understand but…are you drunk? You are never this honest and, uhh, you do flatter me," Jouhei says.

"Alright, no time to lose, let's revive him," Mitsuba Sanpei says as his hands start glowing, and the roof starts rustling as the wind begins blowing, and an Organ is heard playing the Goumaden Song. His fingers shoot out lightning into the corpse, and the corpse starts reacting. Suddenly the corpse's wounds start healing as his neck wound is wired shut, his blunt eye nowhere to be seen; it is physically reconstructing itself, and his soul and body are starting to glow. Mitsuba's lightning starts to get out of hand, and he accidentally shoots the light and ends the process, leaving the room in pure darkness. Silence breaks… the lights go back on, and the corpse is gone, leaving a trail of dried blood.

"Where'd he go?" Jouhei asks.

"I don't think we have time to answer that; come on, let's go find him," Rei says in distress. The duo starts running through the mall looking for the dead guy. They then enter Hotel Goumaden. The man can be seen sleeping on the sofa. The Duo approaches the man and touches his shoulder, and the man wakes up confused.

"...huh, where am I…wait, is this heaven?" The newly resurrected Spooky asks.

"No, this isn't heaven, we are the Kuzunohas, and we just brought you back to life," Rei says, introducing herself to the man.

"Heh, I see.. wait, I recognize you two, you're Rei Reiho and Sukeroku, right?" Says Spooky.

"Yes, that's right, I'm Jouhei Sukeroku inside Jouhei Kuzunoha's Body, and this is my partner, Rei Reiho."

"Ah, thanks,... now did anyone figure out where the Krypto Chips are manufactured?" Spooky asks.

"Your little friends left Amami City at the same time we left the city, I think they went to the airport," Jouhei says.

"I see… I kinda wish I could see them again…" Spooky mourns.

"Well…, you can't; they've officially disbanded," Rei says.

"Oh… well, I guess we don't have to fret about that, so should I join you or…?" Spooky asks.

"Hmm, I think you could be useful…, ever been a detective?" Jouhei exclaims.

"Oh, I've done my fair share of detective work, but not legally…eh.." Spooky exclaims.

"Alright, here's a comp, and you're officially hired for the Kuzunoha Detective Agency," Jouhei says without a second thought.

"Idiot, are you out of your mind?!" Rei says, frustrated.

"Come on, give him a chance; we've already seen what he's capable of, so why not?" Jouhei makes a good point.

"Ah, whatever, I guess it doesn't hurt," Rei says. They grab Spooky and put him on his toes, and he goes to the bar of the hotel to grab a drink.

"One Tequila Ananta, thank you very much," Spooky says. Out comes a woman with pale skin and a maid dress.

"Coming right up, Sir," the Maid says. Out comes another pale individual with a cane and dressed in fancy clothing, smoking his pipe.

"Ah, welcome to the Goumaden, feel free to order a room because I've heard from my colleagues that you are an undead soul and your home is currently in an airport…now now, I won't be asking for money, but perhaps I could make an exception and offer you free lifetime stay at Hotel Goumaden, what do you say?" Victor asks Spooky as he has a name tag on his shirt.

"Oh, I would love that," Spooky says excitedly.

"Ah, I see you've obtained a comp, perhaps I could offer you a visit to the Organ Room?" Victor asks.

"That sounds interesting…" Spooky says, curious. Victor takes Spooky through the Goumaden, up the stairs, and into the Organ Room.

"Now, this is where you fuse demons, two souls combined to make a new one; it is simply rebirth," Victor says.

"Oh, that's useful… yawn, I'm kinda tired right now, can I see my room?" Spooky asks, lighting a cigarette.

"Of course, come, let me show you where it is," Victor says as he grabs Spooky's hand. Victor takes Spooky to room 115 and opens the door. It is revealed that this room looks identical to the truck's interior, the computer, and everything.

"Wow, …uhh, how'd you do that?" Spooky asks.

"You see, my friend, the Goumaden is no ordinary hotel. The Goumaden is simply a place beyond reality; it is submerged in the public unconscious, making it possible to do the impossible. That is why we are able to fuse demons. Without imagination, fusion would be nearly impossible. The same goes for your comp. Long ago, in the dawn of summoning, a princess named Inaruna waltzed into a cornfield, and a deity known as Inanna gifted her a bamboo tube with the light of humanity in it. Inanna told Inaruna to cherish the light and capture the evil demons terrorizing her town and lock them up in the capsule. Inanna swiftly disappeared as Inaruna waltzed and tripped on a rock. Demons got attracted to her, and they wanted to eat her precious flesh. No matter what she did, she was doomed. She tried using the capsules, but it failed, and her dream of becoming a princess was about to crumble, until she started imagining the demons being captured. The capsule started vibrating as Inanna's voice is heard saying 'you have succeeded,' and a green trail of light encapsulated those demons. Inaruna was young but she hadn't realized the full potential of the capsules. She swiftly threw all seven into the river, and they all stranded on a beach where Tokyo was supposed to be. A young child named Jouhei Kuzunoha grabbed them and was curious about their purpose. The child shook the capsules, and the demons escaped. The child started crying until the demons stood still, and the child looked at them, petrified, not knowing what's going on. They had been tamed, and they were his now. He was the first Devil Summoner. You see, our power comes from Inanna's Holy Spirit, allowing us to fuse and summon, that is how it is," Victor says, leaving Spooky's room.

Spooky lays down in the bed and drifts asleep. Rei and Jouhei are sitting on the sofa watching Victor's TV.

"I see you have no place to stay; you actually seem to sleep in your detective office. May I offer you an apartment complex inside the Goumaden?" Victor asks.

"Yeah, sure," the duo says in unison. Victor leads them to their own room, and as he opens the door, it is revealed to be an apartment with a balcony and the night sky pure black and the moon bright as ever. Jouhei doesn't say a word and heads for the bedroom. He takes Rei's hand and takes her to the bedroom.

"Now, have you ever slept with Jouhei?" Jouhei asks.

"Uhh.. umm ... .n-n ... .no," Rei says, weirdly embarrassed for the very first time.

"Well, don't be afraid, it's gonna be just fine," Jouhei says. Rei's cheeks are fully red, and she is very embarrassed. Jouhei starts taking off his clothes and gets under the sheets. Rei is petrified and red as ever.

"Huh… what's wrong, Rei?" Jouhei asks.

"I am not used to Jouhei being this nice to me… and umm I actually kinda… like you," Rei says, getting more flustered.

"It's fine, Rei, it's not anything sexual; it's just we have one bed, and it's very comfy. Come and sleep if you need it," Jouhei says with a smile. Rei turns full tomato and hesitates, but her strong masculine urge resuscitates, and she gets undressed and doesn't say a word and gets in the bed.

"See, that wasn't so hard." Jouhei says smiling as Rei begins to smile. They look at each other hypnotized by their eyes and then they look the other way. Jouhei turns off the lamp and closes his eyes, Rei breathes in and out and closes her eyes.

Rei's dream: we see New York supposedly at midnight, it is a warped memory of the movie Rei watched that Victor had called "Dick Tracy". Rei is walking in an alleyway and she's all alone this is supposedly her greatest fear and insecurity keep that in mind, a couple of thugs start appearing approaching her, one pulls out a butterfly knife, Rei starts throwing jabs but they hit like pillows and the thugs violently beat up Rei, they bruise her neck, crack her back, kick her groin and give her multiple nose bleeds, as the dream begins to get more warped, the thugs start to rip Rei's clothing off and she screams as this is her worst fear the fear of not being strong enough, before they can do anything the alarm clock destroys New York and the dream thankfully ends.

Jouhei's dream: Jouhei is in the Styx River. This isn't a dream Jouhei's soul can't dream so he gets sent here for the night. "Are you developing a thing for Lady?" Charon asks. Jouhei can't speak in the River Styx. "I see, so you want her child?" Charon asks. Jouhei turns completely frozen. "I see you truly love Rei Rei Ho, something original Jouhei never did. He only wanted death for her, I know this since I govern death and I know when someone desires death and or someone else's death, I can see potential in your poor soul." Charon says as Jouhei opens his eyes. Rei springs up and screams. "What's wrong?" Jouhei asks. "Erm.. nothing" Rei says, breathing heavily. "Did you have a bad dream?" Jouhei asks. "I don't want to talk about it." Rei says disturbed. "Alright I'm going to make some breakfast, Mary has some work for us on this beautiful Wednesday, and besides we gotta wake up Sakurai." Jouhei says with a smile. Rei gets up and gets dressed, she checks her closet and gets her rejected outfit. Jouhei starts making an omelet and he flips it at just the right time while humming the Radio Tune from The Innocence Cafe Called "Sing By The Shore" By Mia Takahashi.

He plugs in a radio and, fair enough, that exact song starts playing. Jouhei starts eating the omelet as Rei enters the room and she swings her nunchucks around while making bread. She throws the plate, and it lands perfectly on the table, so does the orange juice. Rei jumps into the air and lands in the chair. She takes a vicious bite out of the Marmalade Toast. Jouhei finishes his omelet, fixes his tie, and heads out. Rei follows as she knocks on Sakurai's door. "Wake up, you've got a job and money to be paid," Rei says. Spooky gets out of bed already clothed and already awake. "Oh, I already knew that, Mary called my cell phone," Spooky says. The two exit the Goumaden and out into Yaraiginza. They walk a couple of meters and go to the Fortune Teller House. They open the door. Mary is not here.

They leave Yaraiginza and head to the Detective Agency. The phone starts to ring. Jouhei takes the phone. "Uhh-yellow," Jouhei says. "Hi Jouhei, this is Madame Ginko. I have some important information, head to Cretaceous," Ginko says as she hangs up. Jouhei gets up and walks. "And where do you think you're going?" Rei says, annoyed. "Ginko has a job for us," Jouhei says. Rei nods, and Spooky follows them. The trio goes back to Yaraiginza and steps into Club Cretaceous. "Ah, you've come, sit down, please," Ginko says. "I have some important information regarding the Phantom Society. They are currently planting bombs all over Hirasaki and are in the midst of taking over everything. One thing is for sure, this is not normal and this is unlike Phantom of doing something so dumb. Their leaders are far gone so is their sanity, but there are 8 figures that are considered elites.

"Royta Kazoku," a 24-year-old psychopath from northern Russia, Leader Of Phantom. "Zucchini Erako," real name Edward Thompson, a 14-year-old American immigrant who specializes in Nano Tech. "Eruna Davis," Sid Davis's only offspring, birthed by Inaruna's possession containing Jouhei's DNA, making it your daughter, Jouhei. "Takashi is back, and he's not possessed by Kyoji anymore, and he's eating more people. "Imam Jebdah," a Jewish Israeli that joined Phantom to escape his sex trafficking scheme in the Yakuza Boss you supposedly killed. Well, Jebdah owns the house he died in. "Tenko Mzumo," a notorious hacker and ex-failed Spookies member. He's highly skilled and joined once Spookies was only 1 person. "Eddie Griffin," a huge Pimp who sells Molotov Cocktails as a product. He must be stopped immediately. "Tearyin Mariko," is a corrupt news reporter who supposedly took his own life and terrorizes people as a ghost, possessing one of Dr. Thrills Stolen Gargantuas. And finally, "Carol Dee J" is back, and he's stronger than ever. You must know you are not safe anywhere, and I know that Edward Thompson planted a bomb in one of our Guts, so please be careful. These are the locations…" Ginko says as her TV screen starts malfunctioning until the Phantom Society Logo is shown and it reads "Illegal Broadcast." Ginko scoffs. "Just know, they're everywhere." The trio goes back to the Detective Agency. Rei is looking at the wall as Jouhei sits down in his chair and smokes a fake bubble pipe.

-Main Game Opening-

Rei leaves the room and goes to the archival room and gets papers. Spooky leaves the building to go on his adventure; he leaves a note and will return. Rei, with a stack of papers, slams it on the table. "So these are our bills… 9 THOUSAND YEN?!!" Rei yells. Jouhei gets his newspaper out. "Oh no, this is bad. We gotta make money quick, Jouhei! What do we do!?" Rei says, panicking. "We do odd jobs and become painters for this company known as Wet Painters Of Japan National United Workers. It says that we can just retire from detective work and do odd jobs for twice the money," Jouhei says. "Hmm, maybe that's a good idea... y'know, let's do it!" Rei says as she rushes into the cupboard and looks for painting equipment. She then loads her van she bought in 1997 before Soul Hackers. Jouhei gets in the vehicle, and Rei slaps a sticker on the side of the van. It has the Kuzunoha logo covered

in paint with text that reads: "Kuzunoha Artisteé & Co." Rei and Jouhei get a call from a client and drive to the place next to Yaraiginza.

Wet Painters Arc

The car arrives at the destination, and the lights go off as the engine stops. Jouhei and Rei open the car doors and step out. Above them is a neon sign that says "Artisteé ," but the lights flickering are malfunctioning. Jouhei tries to shift the doorknob; it's locked. "Do you have the key?" Jouhei asks. "What key?" Rei says, Rei then kicks the lock and opens the door. Inside is an empty interior, white walls, unfinished floor, and rotting wallpaper. "Huh?, what is going on here?" Rei whimpers to herself. "It's… empty?...Rei, something feels very wrong right now," Jouhei says, clenching his Gump. "Oh, I can sense we're not alone; there's another person here." Rei says terrified. A sound can be heard throughout the building; footsteps aplenty. The footsteps start descending the stairs and getting closer. Rei and Jouhei start to embrace themselves together to hold on for dear life.

(So why is Rei afraid? Well, her demons are asleep inside her, so when it's nighttime she loses her powers and is just a normal human.) Out of the shadows, a figure lies, Rei and Jouhei are shivering as two figures arrive and step out of the light. "Huh, Rei and Sukeroku?, What are yo-...I hope I'm not interrupting anything…erm," a female voice says. "Hitomi, relax, I know what Jouhei is afraid of, but Jouhei it's okay, it's me Sanabaguete from back in Middle school," a male voice says. "Oh…well, that's new." Hitomi says, sticking out her tongue playfully. "KENICHI!??" Jouhei screams.

The male figure comes out of the shadows, and a familiar green jacket appears with a familiar skull shirt. "Aren't you supposed to be in America?" Jouhei asks. "Well, Hitomi was, but I was going to explore Futagamikado Ruins more thoroughly. I heard that Inaruna's cryogenic body is sitting in there, but for some reason, the ruins were blocked by boulders, so the actual elevator worked, but everything was inaccessible. You see, my goal was to find out if I could harness the energy of Inaruna to make her clean my soul. In that process, I will be able to break into the abandoned Algon NS Building and into the Server Room, hack the leftover data to bring back Nemissas Backup. I'd then grab my Level 477 Female Zeed and destroy his soul and give a part of my soul into the zouma and then letting Nemissa possess the Zeed, causing her to gain an actual physical human form. But yeah, now that plan's in the trash. The only way I can bring her back is if I… so I talked to Azuma, and he said that Nemissa is now inside of Hitomi's DNA and… so this sounds crazy but if she gets pregnant we …can raise a newborn Nemissa that grows to an 18-year-old in 2 weeks. It sounds incredibly weird, but like it's the only way," Kenichi says, revealing a suspicious amount of details we didn't need to know.

"Uhhh… I can just bring back Nemissa by negotiating with Charon... oooh, ok… moving on. Hitomi, why aren't you on the plane?" Jouhei asks as he gives Kenichi the weirdest of looks. "Now, Amami Airport suffered a huge blackout, and it meant the plane wasn't done getting fuel, meaning the whole system fell, and everyone left. I, on the other hand, did some digging, and you know who is Royta? I saw a sign in neon lighting up "Royta Kazoku Absolves Your Freedom, Cattle."

The sign then stopped blinking, and the lights came back on, and suddenly Me and Kenichi were the only ones remaining, even the planes disappeared. The reason we stopped at Hirasaki was to go to the amazing spa in Yaraiginza. It is called "Atyor Furt." It's supposedly a German name, not much was written about it, and it seemed it just came into existence yesterday. Wait a minute, guys read it backward." Hitomi says as she notices something. "Turf Royta? Oh, that's most likely a trap, Hitomi, don't bother." Kenichi says as he scratches his head and starts remembering good memories with Nemissa.

"Well, we're here since our detective agency suddenly stopped making money and stopped getting clients… I think someone is messing with our life. Artisteé isn't real, this is an abandoned building, and it's a trap… oh no, it's a demon-infested condemned building. I suggest we run, NOW!" Rei says as she starts running towards the door as millions of footsteps are heard on the 6th floor coming down the stairs. The 4 run as fast as they can to the exit as the demons start nearing their location. They jump out of the building as it suddenly explodes into a billion pieces. The 4 land on the concrete. "Ah, my back," Kenichi says, standing up. "Is everyone okay?" Rei asks as she gets out a soma bean.

"Oh, I think I had a dream about this guy. I remember now, so I dreamt 9 months ago that some evil Russian dude named Royta would cause demon malware across Amami City and jeopardize the life of Nemissa and Hitomi, so we go to Dr. Thrill and ask him to build a submarine, and then that submarine is sent into Hitomi's bloodstream, and at the end, everything ends, and Amami City gets covered in lava," Kenichi reminiscing. "Oh baby, please, that dream is just your stupid fetish. I know what you search on DDS Ask, and I know you like to watch those kinds of videos, so please, a prophecy, honey, don't worry, it's probably just a psychopath we can easily immobilize." Hitomi says, patting the back of Kenichi.

"Well, I guess we'll look for this guy in Yaraiginza Mall. I guess you're joining Kenichi and Hitomi, and by the way, don't tell your real name to anyone there." Jouhei says, taking Hitomi and Kenichi into the van and putting them in the back. The van drives up to the mall, and Rei fiddles her fingers, fearing her life in the night.

[Chapter 2: Detective Work Ensues]

he gang opens the car doors and leaves the car. They look around and see that the parking is empty. They check behind them, and there stands a clock covered in steel matte, making the faintest of ticks. The time is 03:21. The sidewalk is dimly lit by bad streetlights, making it visible to see the grainy white lines to park properly. What is odd is that the mall has no light in any of the windows.

Kenichi walks around to the trunk and grabs his old comp. "Kenichi, why do you need Urabe's comp? Can't you just use the comp Victor gave you?" Hitomi peculiarly says with an attitude. "Honey, Mecchi's are in there, and I can summon demons for practically no cost, and by the way, I maxed up my Mecchi so I can just buy high-level demons." Kenichi says, smirking.

"But Victor gave you an immortality spell you can only use on your old comp. I think it was called 'Compact Operational Running Device For Demons' or Cordefer. You realize the 'Compact Operational Manual Summoning Program Device' can't bring you back to life, and Kinap is gone, so you might wanna save that for fire emergencies." Hitomi says, arguing with Kenichi.

"Ah, whatever. I'll use the Cordefer." Kenichi says. Kenichi opens the box that says "Akumadon Sama" (Mr. Devil's Bowl, basically playfully hinting at the product by naming it after a food ornament). He picks up the Cordefer and feels it, gently touches it. "Wow, this thing is compact and actually kinda comfortable." He says.

The Cordefer is similar to a comp, but the handle is above, and you have to hold it basically upside down. The leather covering is way more compact and comfortable. The shaft is thinner and with many more wires, giving it a much more computer feel. The edge is the same but much more triangle-like in shape. When the Cordefer lights up and turns on, the leather turns blue, and the handle turns into a joystick-like grip. The shaft is put under, and the edge is turned into 3 screens with a tiny keyboard, all with 2 plastic pipes holding them up. The interface is similar but it's way more compact and easier to navigate, and the best part: Summoning is instant. Kenichi starts to fiddle with the Cordefer.

The thing lights up and displays a bright blue light. A white logo pops up, and text reading "Goumaden OS" a loading bar starts to fill up, and when it's done, a bright Polysynth can be heard as a start-up noise. Then the screens fade to a background of a green mountain in Chile. Then all the applications are there. It seems to be built on Persola 98 OS or at least inspired. Kenichi can see 6 default apps:

Frostie: a browser for the internet with an icon of Jack Frost riding a Kelpie. DDS Net Membership forum: with a gray matte icon that says "DDS." Demon Summoning Program: black icon and red pentagram. Fusion: with an icon of a stormy thunder.

Solitaire: with an icon of a Jack Frost card. Contacts: with a phone icon. There is more, but that's in the toolbar that will be explored later in the story. Kenichi notices that there's no mouse, and that he's stumped. Kenichi touches the screen, and it works. The Cordefer has a touch screen. Kenichi clicks on the Demon Summoning Program, a head of Vishnu pops up as the program loads. The Cordefer starts making a lot more noise than a comp, and suddenly the summoning program is accessed. A blue HUD like the original comp just with 3 more screens: Screen 1 displays the demon, screen 2 displays their attributes and weaknesses, and screen 3 is the default HUD. Kenichi turns off the Cordefer and puts it in his pocket. "Now shall we get going." Kenichi says gleefully. "Sure…" Jouhei says with envy of Kenichi's new toy.

As they step into the mall, the doors close. The air is raspy, almost dry, lights are completely on, and there is not a single soul in sight. In this first sector, there are five closed stores: Clover Gym, Fortune Telling Memoire, Hotel Goumaden, Maruse Real Estate, and Hagurumadou Kiosk. Their labels are neon and still lit. The floor is completely clean, which is odd.

"Hey…Jouhei, isn't this our home?" Rei asks nervously.

"Yeah…something isn't right. Why is there no one here?" Jouhei scratches his chin.

"Well…only one way to find out, let's split up," Kenichi says excitedly.

"Senno-Kun, you are embarrassing yourself. Let's calm down, and…" As Hitomi is about to say her last sentence, Kenichi quickly starts moving.

"Oh, forget about it… eugh," Hitomi says annoyed.

The air begins to get really tight as they move to the next sector since they can't really do much here. They see a tunnel, which is very odd for a mall to have.

"Wait a minute, I don't remember Yaraiginza being this big?!" Rei says worried.

"Oh my god, oh my god, this is bad, very bad, oh no no no," Rei says walking back and forth nervously.

"Rei, relax, we've bested this kind of stuff before. Remember, we defeated Sid Davis. Well, this Royta guy, he could be just as pathetic," Jouhei says. As Jouhei says this, the megaphone speakers turn on, and a familiar tune starts playing.

"Is that... the 'I Can Heal Wounds' song by Satomi Tadashi?" Rei asks.

"Oh, I know what this means. It means Royta is putting us against a death trap of a demon," Kenichi says, pulling an M5 out of his pocket.

"Uhh, Kenichi, what is that? D-d-do you have a real gun on you!!?" Hitomi asks in heat.

"Yeah, I bought it at the Video Store. Wait, you don't remember?" Kenichi says, smirking.

"I thought guns were pretty much useless against demons, and besides Nemissa isn't here anymore, so you're pretty defenseless. Hey, I know, use the Cordefer instead," Hitomi says with irony.

"All right then, it's time."

"It's showtime," Kenichi says playfully.

"Eugh, whatever," Hitomi groans out loud.

The next sector is odd; it resembles the structure of Akane Mall.

"Uhh wha-?" Kenichi dastardly says, confused.

"Umm is this the right place?" Hitomi asks nervously.

"Oh no, oh god, I know where this is going," Jouhei says as he gives a loud facepalm.

"Here we go again, teleporter maze coming up," Rei says, getting her nunchucks out.

The four run into the door and, lo and behold, it's Chinatown.

"NOOOOOO WHYYY," Jouhei screams out loud.

"Figured," Rei says expressionless.

"Oh, I see we're in Chinatown. All right, I can handle this," Kenichi says, walking left.

"NO, DON'T GO THAT WAY, IDIOT!!" Jouhei and Rei tell in unison.

Kenichi is transported all the way to an unknown place in the spacetime continuum, and there's no escaping Chinatown.

"Ah, fuck," Kenichi says as he realizes what he did was very dumb.

Kenichi attempts to walk straight, but he just ends up being thrown back to the three.

"Ow, my head," Kenichi says after getting flung through a wall.

"You are dumber than bread, Senno, you know that?," Rei says with a disapproving expression.

"Eheh…I mean, I'm not dead," Kenichi says nervously.

"TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY," the three yell at Kenichi in unison.

"Sorry," Kenichi says awkwardly.

"Alright, now I know the easy way out is to go south six times and then four times west," Jouhei says confidently.

"That is correct," Rei approves.

The four start to follow Jouhei's directions. They eventually make it out and into the final sector. It's…empty? It's literally filled with a clean floor and some stairs.

"What is going on??" Jouhei asks, confused.

Suddenly, the room starts to break apart, and in the blink of an eye, the room turns into an attic, and Royta is sitting in his chair at a table with cards.

"Wanna play a game, Jouhei Kikuchi and Kenichi Sanagi Senno?" Royta says, proving his dominance by knowing their full names. The two audibly gasp.

"Let's play…hmm, how about Go Fish for your little uneducated brains," Royta says calmly as he shuffles the deck. "Now shall we?" Royta says with a devilish smile.

Royta spreads the cards around the table conveniently, landing perfectly symmetrically.

"G-g…Go fish?!, you've got to be kidding. This has got to be a joke. Jouhei, are you…are you really gonna play…–g-go fish?" Rei says, barely able to contain her laughter with a big grin.

"I mean…it doesn't hurt to try," Jouhei says with a smug attitude. Rei stops laughing.

"Ah…n…nevermind," Rei says, sitting down in an old chair.

"Now, shall we play?" The shadowy figure Royta says.

The game begins, the very first move is from Kenichi as the players are Kenichi, Jouhei, and Royta, mostly males since Royta wants that for some reason. Kenichi starts sweating and asks Royta: "Do you have a 4 of hearts?" Royta denies it, and his eyes glare with evil. Kenichi gulps and then asks Jouhei: "Do you have an ace of spades?" Royta smiles devilishly, meaning the ace of spades is way more important than any other card. Jouhei stutters as his cards go up in flames.

"What The!!?" Jouhei screams. Royta starts to maliciously laugh as all the cards go up in flames. "We will meet again MUHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA," Royta says as the attic disappears and Royta fades like a mist. The attic is gone, and it's just Yaraiginza with people.

"Wait…that was in our head?" Rei asks.

"Hmm, psychological serial killer…interesting," Jouhei says as he notes this down.

"All right…where's Hitomi?" Kenichi asks. Hitomi appears hiding behind a bush, mentally scarred.

"Wha-what happened?" Rei asks.

"Th..-they-he-kill-killed my family. I need to kill–r-royta," Hitomi says, tears flowing and rage growing.

"She seems to have experienced a different vision…does this Royta guy ever give up?" Rei says. The team leaves Yaraiginza and head back to the office or the hideout. Jouhei sits in his chair and gets out a lollipop, Jouhei starts to ponder.

[Chapter 3: Love On The Cruiser]

RRei looks at the table and sees a flyer. "Jouhei, what's that flyer under your documents?" Rei asks.

"I don't know; let's find out," Jouhei says. The two grab the flyer and read from it. It reads: "Kuzunoha Exclusive Invitation To A Private Love Cruise on June 8th, hurry up, it's not gonna stay in Hirasaki forever."

"Oh, well, we should get moving then," Jouhei says, determined. Rei starts to look shy again, whimpering slightly. "What's wrong?" Jouhei asks. Rei suddenly realizes she's acting out of character. "Oh, nothing, heh," Rei says, cracking a forced smile. "Alright, let's go," Jouhei says, grabbing Rei's hand and opening the janitor's closet with already packed luggage for both. "When did you have time for this, Jouhei?" Rei asks. "Huh??, I didn't do this, it was-" Jouhei says, interrupted. "It was me, Mary Shelley. I signed in to work as a janitor at the agency since my father Victor wanted me to get a job," Mary says as she swiftly disappears. "Huh, well, that answers that," Jouhei says as he picks up the luggage and runs out with Rei's tomato-red skin, holding her hand and outside of the agency.

Outside the building, the cruiser is right there. "Wait, Jouhei, when did you order this?" Rei asks. "I ordered it while I was making breakfast in the Goumaden," Jouhei says as they get on the cruiseliner. "There is no one here, the ship is controlled by autopilot, so Rei, there is plenty to do. What do you want to do?" Jouhei asks as the cruise leaves the shore, and Rei starts thinking.

"Maybe we should get the luggage to our room first," Rei says. "Which room, we own all of them," Jouhei says. "Just the first one we find," Rei says. "Alright," Jouhei answers. The two get in the door and down the stairs to room 1.995B. They open the door, and it's a room with

white walls, an Oakwood closet, a queen-size bed, cupboards, a TV, carpeted floor, lamps, and a bathroom. "This is it, put down the luggage. I don't think we need to pack just yet," Rei says as Jouhei drops the luggage on the bed, and the two go back outside. "Now, I wanna have a drink, a rich man drink," Jouhei says, excited. Rei decides to go back to her room and grabs her bikini. She undresses on the deck, puts on her sunglasses, and starts sunbathing.

"Ah, this is the life," Rei says. Jouhei goes to the bar and pours a Tequila Mojito and an Amor de Goumaden for Rei, which is actually very spicy. Jouhei downs the Tequila and breathes joyfully. "Ah, this is the life," Jouhei says as he drinks the whole thing.

Jouhei walks to Rei and gives her the Amor Tequila. Rei drinks it, "Wow, now that's more like it. Mary never gave me something like this; this truly is an aphrodisiac, to be honest," Rei says, beginning to sweat.

"Is it hot, heh?" Jouhei jokingly answers.

"Not as hot as you, Mr. Jouhei Sexual Lethal Weapon," Rei says. Jouhei is flattered but extremely confused. "Rei, that is an interesting name to call me b-" Jouhei says, trying to finish his last sentence as Rei immediately kisses him. Jouhei is dumbfounded and caught off guard, but he knows the techniques he learned from Kumiko. Jouhei gets comfortable and starts tasting the spicy Tequila, and his body starts to heat. Jouhei clicks a button which teleports them to the Goumaden room. They fall into a deep sleep.

[Chapter 4: Kuzunoha Shopping]

The alarm rings, and Rei slams her head into the ceiling out of shock. "UUUUAACK!!" Rei says in pain as she stumbles down to the floor and gets up. Jouhei, naturally, sleeps like a rock. Rei kicks the toaster, and immediately the bread shoots out. She catches it mid-air and viciously bites it. Rei pushes numbers on the wall, and the living room walls open, revealing a training room. Rei enters, which is a part of the apartment with two locker rooms. She opens the door and puts her training bag on the bench. Rei starts to strip for the shower (no need for more detail).

Rei dries herself and puts on the yellow Spandex and a yellow headband. She kicks into the air and slams the ground. She opens the gymnasium door. The gymnasium is vast, and there's no sign of Mitsuba, even though he lives here (in the gym closet). Rei gets out a timer and screams, "Nemissa, activate daily boxing practice," Rei says.

(Nemissa's background: Nemissa's soul fragments flake off when possessing a host, so everyone she met had visible fragments mistaken as dead skin. Rei harvested these so that Nemissa could be saved. She collected nearly every flake and put it into a jar. Victor clearly knew about this, and Rei gave him the soul fragments to use as an assistant. In the Goumaden pocket dimensions, there must always be an assistant to ensure the Inanna fragments don't start digesting the room. So, that's why Nemissa is here. She's not important to Rei or Jouhei, but she is pretty friendly to Rei, and they talk a lot about Hitomi.)

"Oh, you look happy, did you get laid or something?" Nemissa asks in a very playful manner.

"Oh, you betcha, it was the most intense sex ever. Yukine could never even imagine how hard he failed at knocking me up. Jouhei is a literal animal," Rei says, chuckling.

"Hey, hey, relax, Nemissa, it's fine. I will get Hitomi in here, and you will get to become a woman (foreshadowing in the Nemissa chapter), I assure you," Rei says with a smile.

"Awww, you always know how to swoon me. Alright, I'm going to go into the void and do nothing. I'll let you do your thing. Bye-bye," Nemissa says as she disappears into the void. Rei starts to box the bag and kick it for a while.

Jouhei's Morning Routine:

Jouhei gets out of bed slowly, very slowly. He then slugs on the floor to the kitchen. He gets up and lazily opens the fridge and grabs an apple, biting into it. He then gets into the sofa, lies down, and turns on the TV. The channel is NHK, and today's show is some garbage soap opera about a bunch of students obtaining personas and fighting an evil businessman who abuses little children. Jouhei finally starts to chew the apple.

Jouhei slowly swallows the apple, slooooowly. He then takes another bite slooooowly, and the rest is left to the imagination.

Rei's footsteps can be heard as the walls open, and she emerges in a brand new red and blue oil paint-like outfit with unique dark blue shading and polished high heels. "How do I look?" Rei asks Jouhei, who is still eating the apple.

Rei grunts, annoyed, and kicks the apple. "What the hell, Rei!?" Jouhei screams.

"Oh, you look absolutely stunning, I'm still hungry," Jouhei says. "Come, big boy, let's go get some pizza or something on this fine Saturday," Rei says as she undresses Jouhei and channels her inner strength and her chi.

Rei starts shooting like a bullet, as if a laser was being shot. Rei gets the best clothing for Jouhei and gives him a baby blue dress. "What the hell is this?" Jouhei asks.

"Oh, I can feel spirits, so naturally, I know when I'm pregnant, and yes, I'm pregnant," Rei says. Jouhei crashes down in shock and lays on the floor crying, like that scene in Breaking Bad in the Ozymandias episode.

"Oh, brother, Jouhei, relax, you'll be a perfect father. Just relax and enjoy the shopping spree. We're gonna need to buy a lot," Rei grabs Jouhei's lifeless hand, and they exit into the Goumaden.

"Hey Victor, my man, got any cash?" Rei asks.

"Certainly, my dear," Victor says as money appears from absolutely nowhere into Rei's hand. "Thanks, chap," Rei says as she leaves the Goumaden.

"Ah, Yaraiginza, not the place to shop," Rei says. "Huh, where are we going?" Jouhei asks. "Hirasaki Hills," Rei says. "The countryside? Interesting. All right, I heard Persilli Pizza is absolutely delicious," Jouhei ponders.

They get in their car, a golden 1950s-looking bubble car, the kind you'd see in New York with one difference: spy gear, James Bond kind of stuff. They enter the car, and Rei starts the engine. The radio turns on some blues soul record from Akata Singh (relative to Juda Singh), a super popular solo artist.

The car starts, and the two drive to the countryside. They arrive in the town and get to Persilli Pizza. The car stops, and Rei exits the vehicle with Jouhei next. They enter the store, and it's nice. Sweet mozzarella is playing on the radio.

"Ciao, buon giorno, welcome to Persilli Pizza, what can I get for you?" Mr. Lani Persilli says with a smile. Mr. Persilli has a huge hat, wears a chef uniform, and has a cat, just an average summoner foodie (yes, he's a little chubby).

"One Pepperoni Belial Special and Pixiejuice and for Jouhei, Mozzarella Ongyoko with a bottle of IzanagiPop!" Rei says when ordering.

"Anything else, Mia signora?" Persilli asks.

"Jalapeno Grenades and Bread Busters and some Ulto Pepto since Jouhei has a weak stomach," Rei says.

"That will be 500¥, Grazie mille," Persilli says while Rei slams the money on the table.

"Eat here or Fuori?" Persilli asks.

"Eat here, thank you," Rei says.

"Ah, Magnifico sorprendente, thank you so much, Vieni di nuovo!" Persilli says. The two grab their soda and sit down at a table. Persilli comes with the food and puts it on the table. Jouhei takes a massive bite of the grenade.

"AHH AHH hot, hot, holy shit, that's fucking spicy," Jouhei says.

"Oh hahaha, called it," Rei says, taking a bite out of her pepperoni Belial. They start eating faster and drinking.

"Alright, so what's the next stop?" Rei asks.

"Mr. Leanki's Baby Shop," Jouhei says.

"That... that's the shop where my mother bought me my first pacifier. Alright, let's go," Rei says.

"Wait, I want a new grena–" Jouhei says, interrupted and thrown into the car.

The car drives to downtown Hirasaki. "Alright, here we go, Hirasaki Mall of the Sun," Rei says as they exit the vehicle. They buy diapers, paint, baby formula, protein, guns, and all kinds of things. It's been 8 hours, and they're out of the mall.

"Oh god, oh Jesus, oh," Jouhei says, vomiting. Rei grabs his hand and takes him to the grocery store.

Rei grabs a shopping cart and starts walking. (By the way, they didn't buy anything. There's something in the Goumaden that will surprise you. The only store they buy from is the grocery store.)

"Now, what do we need for this week... hmmm," Rei ponders. Jouhei takes a glance at the bread and picks up Maruno Lazy Bread.

"How about some lazy bread for a change?" Jouhei asks enthusiastically.

"No, we are not buying that sugary garbage. Let's get some Moo Moo Bread as usual. It's straight from the cow milk and ripe eggs with the freshest corn from Hirasaki's farms. The wholest of wholest of breads. And Jouhei, you've got to start exercising more. Your Sukeroku behavior is almost hikikimori-like," Rei says.

"Well, I think the baby, whether a boy or girl, I think I can raise it to become a relaxed and well-versed literature bookworm. You might not like that, but I like reading for therapy, and stress gives ulcers anyway," Jouhei says.

"Well, I disagree. A Summoner must know tactics and strength. I already meditate plenty to keep my demons in control (literally), so a bookworm... what if it's twins, what then?" Rei asks, putting the Moo Moo Bread in the shopping cart.

"Wait, I thought you knew?" Jouhei says, surprised.

"Jouhei, seriously, the baby is only an embryo right now. We had sex yesterday, so it's barely an embryo. But because of my demon spiritual connection, there's a growth spurt, meaning the baby will be ready in 6 months. (Kuzunohas have weird biology depending on how they've been affected by demons. There are three types of demon contact: Spiritual (Rei), consumption (Royta), and bodily fluids (Kenichi, yes, he has sex with demons; I mean, what do you expect with the negotiations?). First of all, we need to do a lot of preparation before we do a sex reveal to others," Rei says.

"Why would a sex reveal be a problem?" Jouhei asks.

"You know what, nevermind," Rei says, getting back to the shopping cart and heading for the frozen food aisle.

"Now... do you want some chicken?" Rei asks.

"Oh, that sounds nice," Jouhei says.

"Well, Chua Chicken is my mother's favorite," Rei says.

"Well, I can't wait to meet your family," Jouhei says.

"Hey, no need to rush things. Anyways, I'm gonna buy the Chua Chicken," Rei says as she puts the chicken in the cart. Last stop, milk!

"Now what kind of milk, I'm gonna buy some Oma Milk by Mark Oma. It's British and verified for Japanese bowels," Rei says, not even questioning if Jouhei agrees.

"Well, I agree, I guess," Jouhei says as they get to the cashier and pay for the stuff without saying a word and getting in the car.

The car turns on, and they drive back home.

"Ah, it's been a long day. Jouhei, when you get home, you gotta take a shower," Rei says.

"Well, I do need one," Jouhei says.

As Jouhei finishes the shower, he starts hearing the voice of Royta, "Give me your attention, meet me in Yaraiginza later tomorrow afternoon at 'Mind Over Form Intergalactic Cafe,' touché and don't be late," Royta says.

[Chapter 5: Mind Over Form]

Jouhei gets dressed and heads out without notifying Rei. He runs to Mind Over Form Intergalactic Cafe and it's empty, and Royta left a note that reads: "I was never here, I don't exist, and I'm only metaphysical Orgone Ghost."

"Wait, Royta is just an orgone Ghost that gained sentience!?" Jouhei says, confused, as laughter reverberates in his head. Jouhei heads back to the Goumaden and goes to bed as it's 23 pm.

Jouhei wakes up in the morning and starts to get shivers down his spine, he keeps thinking of how horrific the reveal of the orgone ghost was. He starts thinking about the possibilities that the ghost watched them have sex, eat, or him in the shower. He starts to sweat so much. The shiver prevails, and Jouhei starts to imagine how the ghost can see his thoughts; he starts to think about how the ghost could kill him in this instance. But to no avail. Jouhei thinks the ghost is in his dreams and Jouhei gets even more paranoid. Without saying a word, Jouhei is terrified. Jouhei then drifts to a dreamless sleep.

Jouhei wakes up and tells Rei that they need to go to Ghostly Coco Hunters. Rei is very skeptical at first but they go. "Hmm… seems the Orgone Ghost has been terrorizing some citizens in Hirasaki," Jumbo says as he loads his ghosticular destroyer. "Yeah, it seems to come from the zoo," James adds.

"Well… how much are you gonna pay for our services, miss?" Jona asks. "I'll give you 12 thousand yen," Rei negotiates. "DEAL! Now let's get to work," Jona says.

"Yeah, but the ghost is only in my head," Jouhei says. "Buckle up," James says, pointing the Ghosticular at Jouhei's head. "Now, wait a minute, you're really gonna shoot my partner to unleash the ghost?" Rei protests. "Of course," Jumbo says, smiling.

The Ghosticular goes off, and Jouhei says it tickles as a bowl of smoke bursts out of his ears. "There it is, go catch it, Jona," James says. The two start to violently whip the ghost with their Ghosticulars, and the ghost eventually goes loose. "Ah, damn it," Jona says, kicking the floor.

"Well, at least Jouhei is okay," Rei says. "Yeah, I'm okay," Jouhei says, collapsing out of exhaustion. The team follows the cocos into an abandoned building next to the fire station headquarters the hunters own. "Alright, the ghost must be here," Jona says, blowing up the door.

As they barge in, they find an empty, unfinished apartment. "Yep, pseudoscientists love these kind of places," Jumbo says. "A-Aren't we technically pseudoscientists?" James asks. "Shut up, James, don't group us in with orgone ghost and scientology weirdos," Jona babbles.

Everything goes silent as they hear a scary wind noise, "Leave me aloooooooooooooooone," a windy voice says.

"There it is, guys, shoot it, and remember, no crossing whips," Jona says as they activate the equipment and start destroying the ghost. "NONOONONO AFGH NOOOOOOOO-," the ghost screams as it's sucked into the trap.

"WE GOT HIM, GUYS," the hunters celebrate.

"Well, thanks to you, my headache is gone," Jouhei says. "Muhahha hmaahaha, you fools, I am not just an orgone ghost; I am the spirit of Royta Ivanovich Kazoku. You have suppressed my Russian urge to turn the house into a baba yaga. NOW PAY FOR WHAT

YOU'VE DONE," a voice says very clearly. The building begins to violently shake. "Oh, this is bad," Rei says, kicking the concrete and attempting to escape. She manages to break it and almost falls through it, where the building has legs and is actively running. "Holy crap," Rei says as Jouhei grabs her and takes her back up.

"Now this isn't a big deal; we've dealt with baba yagas before, and the only thing to do is knock out the pilot on the roof, so get walking the stairs," Jona says, storming up the stairs with the other hunters. Jouhei and Rei follow them up, and they make it to the roof, which is empty. "Ah, it's automatic, Jumbo, give me the ghost nuke for 20 seconds (the ghost nuke neutralizes specific atoms with paranormal energy; it can also kill you if you don't run). NOW RUN!" Jona says, jumping off the roof with the other hunters.

Rei gets in a meditative position and prays to Thunderbird to give her American freedom. Rei starts to levitate and grabs Jouhei, flying down to the pavement as the building is sucked by an instant black hole that disappears immediately. The hunters made it by doing parkour. "Here's 12 thousand yen; it's not gone, but this is good enough," Rei says, giving the hunters the money.

"Nah, you can keep the money; I think we found a case. By the way, we'll keep in touch," the hunters say, leaving. "They were nice," Jouhei says as they go back to the Goumaden.

[Mini Chapter Deadly Headache From Orgone Ghost ]

They are back in the Goumaden, and Jouhei is sitting on the sofa, sneezing and having a blanket over him.

"Rei feels his forehead and comes to the conclusion. "Oh, that ghost really cooled down your body heat. You seem to be sick. Honey, do you want me to make some omake ramen for you?" Rei says, being motherly for reasons.

"Oh, I would lo- ACHOO I would love that," Jouhei says, sniffling.

Rei goes to make food in the kitchen. Jouhei turns on the TV and starts watching the baseball game. It's normal at first, but something is off. Jouhei keeps hearing a ringing sound and loud noises. Jouhei starts to physically whimper, writhing on the sofa, and screaming in agony.

Rei hears his cries and rushes to help him. She feels his chest.

"Oh my, that's no cold; that's hypothermia," Rei says, picking up Jouhei and running to Mitsuba's gym, which is closed. Rei continues to the Hirasaki National Hospital.

"Emergency, my hus- my partner is suffering from hypothermia!" Rei screams as the doctors rush to help him.

Rei sits down in the waiting area, twiddling her thumbs, praying to one of her demons that he's safe and survives this.

Jouhei wakes up and sees Charon. "Ah, I see you've returned. So, you do have macca, right?" Charon says, just before Jouhei can answer, he's pulled back to life. "Ah, not my lucky day, I see," Charon says sarcastically.

Jouhei comes out of the operation room, still feeling weak. Rei grabs him and helps him to his feet. Jouhei opens his eyes and looks at Rei for a moment, then he hugs her and says, "Oh my goodness, I thought I was gonna die." Rei sheds a single tear.

They leave the hospital and head back to the Goumaden together, grateful that Jouhei is safe and recovering.

[Chapter 6 Esper Summoners Attack Downtown Hirasaki]

Jouhei sits down back into his sofa and he's feeling a lot better. Jouhei turns on the TV again, but instead of sports, the news comes on. "Hirasaki is facing dire consequences from a giant esper attack near Hirasaki Stadium. The terrorist attack was conducted at 8:04 this morning, only 7 minutes after the city gained its very first special forces unit. Authorities say that the espers were genetically modified Zoma dolls turned human and fused with a gargantua. We cannot understand what these statements mean, but we find it highly unlikely that artificial life exists. Now, onto the weather in Hirasaki, it will be ra-" The news anchor says before Jouhei turns off the TV.

"Rei, it's Monday. I have a case we can solve, and we need to beat up Dr. Thrill," Jouhei screams as Rei is in the shower.

"Alright, finally something to do. Give me 5 more minutes; I need to do my makeup," Rei says, getting out of the shower with her muffled echo. Jouhei sulks, and immediately, Rei is ready for the case. "Now, shall we?" Rei says, walking with Jouhei to the car. The two drive to downtown. When they arrive, the area is full of police tape and is restricted for citizens.

"Here's the permit, and you make sure you find blood to take samples from, and when you're done with that, return it to Victor, OK?" Rei says.

"OK!" Jouhei says. The two split up, and Jouhei sneaks into the sewers, while Rei shows the permit to the cops. "Ah, Rei, oh yeah, yeah, come in, come in." Rei is in the stadium and

starts to analyze the area. Jouhei gets out of the sewers and arrives in the middle of the stadium.

"Hmm, it seems to have been a destructive force, something akin to Megidolaon," Jouhei says, analyzing the grass. "Hey, Jouhei, come here, I found something," Rei says as she holds a piece of Magnetite. "Oh, it is the work of Dr. Thrill. By the way, I didn't find any blood; I find that very odd," Jouhei says. "That is definitely odd. Let's go visit Thrill, hehe," Rei says as they run back to the car.

They arrive at an abandoned warehouse. "There you are, you sly bastard, hahaha, got you now," Rei says playfully. The two sneak near the warehouse, with a sign that says [Amatsukagi Fishing Storage]. The two detectives get closer to the actual warehouse. Rei breaks the door, and it's not a big building. Rei scours the place for Thrill but then accidentally bumps into a lever, and the walls converge to reveal a sizable laboratory. They break in and confront Thrill.

"Ah, you summoners, aren't welcome here, get out," Thrill says. "You, Alexei Ibragimov E. Thrill, are under arrest for acts of terrorism and war crimes," Rei says, pointing a gun at Thrill. "Oh, vuvi on, it's the stupid Kuzunoha detectives. Eh, whatever, ROMERO 2.0, UNLEASH YOURSELF," Thrill screams as a gorilla enters out of a bright tunnel. "Doctor, what can I do for you, ook ook," Romero asks. "KILL THEM."

"Thrill yells. 'Yes Doctor,' Romera says as his eyes blink bright red and his voice animalistic at best. Rei grabs one of her 89 abilities from her psyche. 'BEELZEBUB, I PRAY TO YOU AND ME, I SACRIFICE MY BLOOD FOR ARMAGEDDON,' Rei screams as hellfire rages around her. Her clothing gets ripped off, her skin turns red, she gains a tail, fangs, and grows. She then growls like a demon. Jouhei is terrified, Reimonsta smashes the table, and Thrill trembles in fear as the two beasts start brawling. Rei breaks Romero's teeth. 'That costed ME 888 YEEEEEEEN!' Romero growls as Rei starts ripping his face. Thrill and Jouhei can't help but watch the horror.

Reimonsta smashes Romero's skull, killing him. As her rage disappears, she turns back to normal and shrinks back, fully naked. Thrill is truly terrified and runs to his helicopter as Jouhei grabs Rei and takes her back to the car. Jouhei lays Rei in the seat as he pushes the seats down and gets out of the bed. She's clearly injured, with scars on her hips and bleeding from her wrist. She writhes. 'Thank you for coming to the rescue.'"

"Jouhei, I was about to lose so much blood by laying there and soaking in the demon repellant light, it really hurt my psyche and it hurts to fight now," Rei says, showing vulnerability for the very first time.

Jouhei says, "You're pregnant; I think we need to stop fighting until the baby is born."

" *Cough Cough* I guess you're right," Rei says as she falls asleep in the car.

Jouhei gets out and notices that Thrill hasn't taken off yet. Thrill struggles to get the helicopter running as Rei Monsta cuts herself on the rotor. "Damn it, you piece of junk work!!" Thrill says, struggling.

Jouhei infiltrates the lab and throws natrium and fire together, causing the lab to explode and Thrill to get thrown out of the helicopter. "NOOO, ROMERO, MY GARGANTUA, THE ESPERS, NOOOOOOOO," Thrill screams in agony.

Jouhei picks him up and knocks him out with a single punch. Jouhei, filled with disdain, throws him into the back. Jouhei then drives as he planted a bomb in the lab, causing everything to explode. All the espers jump into the ocean, and Romero is still in there. Jouhei drives away as the building fully explodes, and Romero's guts fly everywhere. But before he can get out of the dock, something happens. An esper army of 5 gargantua turned human blocks the exit. This ticks off Jouhei, and he grabs his gump and gets mad. He uses the cheat from el115 to summon YHVH, using all his magnetite.

"My child, I have been summoned. I see creatures created from the depths of human ego. Dr. Thrill, I have seen your work, and I won't welcome you to my world," YHVH says as the car begins to glow.

"SILENCE!" The gargantua all turn to dust as Jouhei collapses due to using his own life magnetite. YHVH grants Jouhei infinite magnetite, for he knows this important task is important.

"I have served my children well. I must return to heaven, as Raidou has not slayed me no more. I have been reborn," YHVH says as a beam of light appears and he's beamed back to his throne. The world begins to shake as a huge cross appears from the ocean. The people of Hirasaki begin chanting. "HE HAS RETURNED, OUR SAVIOR HAS RETURNED." On the cross, it says in Hebrew that order is restored. God then sends them all back to their homes, sending Thrill with Rei and Jouhei.

[ Mini Chapter Nemissa And Rei's Therapist Session]

Thrill wakes up tied up in a chair in the basement. Around him is literally white space. "Wh-what, What is the meaning of this?" Thrill asks.

"You do the crime you pay the fine, Thrill," Rei sits in a chair next to him as she begins interrogation. "Now why should I say anything to the likes of you!" Thrill protests.

Rei grabs a taser, "Well if you don't want to be shocked by 600 Volts of electricity, I suggest you speak up," Rei says in a threatening voice. "Wait, that could be deadly," Thrill says whimpering.

"Well, if you wanna live, I suggest you spit it out, NOW!" Rei says growing impatient with Thrill. Rei turns on the Taser.

"OK, OK, OK, I'll speak. So it all started when Romero died. I was devastated, and I couldn't waste time whimpering, so I began working on a new design. Eventually, my Gargantua started to malfunction, so I used some of my blood on them, and they suddenly grew skin and turned human. I then moved back to Hirasaki in search for a reason to go on. I found a warehouse and started to build my laboratory. One day my Espers were stolen by someone named Rat…royt. Royt something. Then I watched the news and saw what happened. Someone murdered the special forces, and many other people died after that," Thrill says, crying.

"Please let me go now, I'm innocent," Thrill pleads. Rei unbuckles him and says, "You're staying in this house. If you try to escape, the security guns will vaporize you," Rei says menacingly.

Thrill runs up the stairs and locks himself in a room the Goumaden created. "Wait, that wasn't there before," Jouhei ponders. "If a new member joins, the Goumaden will appeal to their emotions," Rei says. "That room is his room now; he lives here," Rei says irritated.

"Anyways, I'm going to the gym," Rei says, leaving for the locker rooms.

"Welcome back, Madonna hey hey. Hey, what's wrong? Why the long face?" Nemissa asks as Rei enters the sauna.

"Do you ever make a mistake and then think you're an absolute failure," Rei says as she starts to stroke her dead skin off.

"Oh, you harnessed a demon from hell by accident, right?" Nemissa notices.

"I knew you knew that already because you can see through my soul like a television," Rei says.

"Well, one thing for sure is, you don't look too good," Nemissa says. "Now wait, let me heal you," Nemissa says as a beam of light beams into the sauna, and a naked fairy comes to hug the naked Rei in the sauna. "Oh, it's gonna be just fine. Don't worry; you are very strong, and you don't have to give up now. I know pregnancy is hard, but relax; you've got this covered. I know this Royta guy from a dream, and in that dream, he killed us all, multiple times, and then entered my body with some submarine. It's a weird dream," Nemissa says as Rei's body lights up, and her wounds are healed. The two hold hands and look at each other.

"Thank you, Nemissa," Rei says as she hugs her one more time and gets out of the sauna. Jouhei is watching Damiball (Gameshow about people playing football wrong) with Thrill next to him. Rei comes out and says, "You guys wanna grab some ice cream?"

[Chapter 7 14th Visits From The Past]

"Yeah, I could go for some ice cream," Jouhei says, pulling out his wallet. Suddenly, Hirasaki begins shaking as if an earthquake is coming. Electric sparkles fill the air, and an ancient-looking lightning bolt appears to strike, shrouding a figure in light. The figure draws a tube.

"Jouhei Kuzunoha, I challenge you!" Raidou Kuzunoha XVI says. Jouhei gets his COMP ready; he knows this guy is not to mess with and can feel an inheritance in him.

"I've always wanted to spar with a Kuzunoha who never earned their title. I fought Kyouji only 8 months ago. Now that I've found you, you will not be spared. I will have fun challenging you," Raidou says with raging fighting spirit.

"Raidou, don't we have more important matters?" Gouto asks, coming out from behind his back.

"Oh, you asked for it!" Jouhei says, summoning Metatron. "Go for it, Metatron!" Jouhei yells.

"Summon, Oumitsunu!" Raidou yells as the demon leaves his tube. The demons are summoned.

"Hah, you look like small fry," Oumitsunu says.

"You dare mock your own god!?" Metatron asks, prosecuting Oumitsunu.

"You aren't a god to me. You are the one who ruined our great land of the rising sun!" Oumitsunu says while blowing a hit on Metatron. Metatron doesn't flinch.

"What!? Impossible, that should have hit you!" Oumitsunu says, perplexed.

"Prepare to be vanquished, filth," Metatron says, "FIRE OF SINAI!!" Oumitsunu is vanquished.

Raidou falls to his knees. "Wh-why am I not strong enough?" Raidou says.

"I told you we had more important matters; come on now, let's go find Kiyosho as the Red Cape,"

Gouto says.

"No, I want to stay here for a bit," the 14th said, holding a beer coupon.

"Oh sweet, drinks on you, Raidou?" Jouhei asks.

"Oh yes, at Innocence, drinks are on me," Raidou says. Kyouji downs a bottle of Lahmia

Fragmentá.

"Oh my, I've missed this stuff. Let me call Kenichi on my cell phone," Jouhei says. The call is

entered, and Kenichi picks up.

"Yo, Jouhei, what's cracking?" Kenichi asks.

"Nothing much, just that, you know Raidou from the Corridor of Time, right?" Jouhei asks.

"Oh yeah, him, yeah, he kicked my ass. I haven't recovered from that purification stab wound yet,

hehe," Kenichi says.

"Well, you see, a much weaker Raidou came to Hirasaki to spar with me. I beat his ass with

Metatron," Jouhei says enthusiastically.

"No shit, what??! No way," Kenichi is dumbfounded.

"Took me 78 tries with the Raidou that defeated Shinado and the one that defeated The Lone Marebito," Kenichi says, jealous.

"Oh man, I'm having a drink with him. Perhaps you can bring Nemissa, who just repossessed Hitomi, to Innocence. We're in Yaraiginza-cho, Hirasaki Street 14th."

"Alright, on my way," Kenichi says as he hangs up. Kenichi arrives at Innocence, parking Spooky's trailer. Spooky comes to greet the Spookies.

"Oh my god, it's-" Hitomi says, tearing up. She embraces Spooky. "How we've missed you!" Hitomi says. All the other Spookies embrace Spooky.

"Ah, thanks, guys, but I kinda don't have much time. Mitsuba said that on Christmas my soul will descend into Buddhist heaven, and I will reincarnate into an Abrahamic angel."

Suddenly, Raidou is pulled into his world again by another Raidou.

"JOUHEI KUZUNOHA THE 1ST, I'VE COME TO SPAR," Raidou Reformed 14th.

"That's him, good luck, buddy. That purification sword really will be the end of you," Kenichi says, getting back into the trailer.

"Shall we take this outside, Raidou?" Jouhei asks.

"Gladly," Raidou says, as Gotou nods.

"Summon, Yasoumagatsu!" Raidou says as a giant battleship appears.

"Summon YHVH!" Jouhei says.

"Who dares disturb my overlooking!" YHVH says angrily.

"I, the soulless god, do!" Yasoumagatsu says.

"Well, you're no match for the creator."

"Oh Lord, vanquish the Soulless god!" Jouhei says.

"I will if you start believing in me," YHVH says, as the power of life emanates through him.

"I can't do this," Jouhei says, giving the COMP to Rei.

"Oh, so you're giving up and giving the fight to your girlfriend. Oh, I thought you were much more of a threat. Haha, pathetic," Raidou says.

Jouhei snaps and gets into a priest outfit and says, "I believe in the Lord for salvation. I will inherit His holy name and bring back Sid Davis in His name." Jouhei says, turning fully Catholic.

"JOUHEI NOOOO!" Rei screams as Sid Davis's muscles, organs, and bones are built in an instant, and Raidou is perplexed.

"Oh, it's good to be back. Oh, so you finally decided to submit to the Lord?" Sid Davis asks.

"Holy Yeah!" Jouhei says.

"YHVH, judgment!" Jouhei says. As his body starts emanating light, YHVH starts to bind with his soul as Yasoumagatsu is erased from the plane.

"W—what!!?" Raidou screams as he realizes he lost.

"Oh, praise the Lord," the three say.

Raidou returns back to Taisho. "You are worthy of my amazement. I am proud of you, unfateful Kuzunoha Jouhei," Gouto says, following Raidou.

"Nagi will come next, and you better be ready because she has an edge up her sleeve I don't have. Sayonara, Jouhei, until we spar again," Raidou says, disappearing into the portal. YHVH returns to heaven, and Sid Davis has been reborn.

[ Chapter 8 Nagi Kuzunoha Vs Rei Reiho]

Back at Innocence, Rei asks Jouhei, "Jouhei, wow, I'm impressed! Y'know, how'd you say we get married?"

Jouhei's expression turns from joy into realization. Suddenly, a familiar guy comes into the cafe. "Rei, you son of a bitch, don't marry that guy! I swear he's got nothing to offer. I own the agency," Kyouji the 17th says.

"Oh my, how'd you get your body back?" Rei asks.

"Well, some goofball had to revive Sid Davis, so I used all my spirit energy to manifest a new body out of pure fury. And Jouhei, you're using my body to fuck my partner, and then she's cucking me? What the hell is wrong with you?! Didn't I tell you not to get a single scratch on my body?!" Kyouji asks.

"Uhh, yeah, I can explain. It was while we were both intoxicated, hehe…" Jouhei says nervously. "What does that have to do with anything, you know what I'm taking my body back!" Kyouji says angrily.

Kyouji slams the table and gets close to Jouhei's face with a death stare. "I will castrate you in a match. You, you're stupid YHVH, and me and my awesome Kyouji The 1st," Kyouji says, challenging Jouhei.

"Did you say Kyouji the 1st?" Jouhei asks.

"Now die, Jouhei" Kyouji the 1st says as Kyouji the 17th gets out of bounds to support Kyouji the 1st. Jouhei gets out his comp but drops it. "Oh shit!" Jouhei says reaching for the comp as Chernobog poisons him. "Ack, my arm is injured," Jouhei says. "I need my comp." Jouhei says desperately trying to fight the poison. "Here you go some Posumudi Needles!" Rei says as she throws them into Jouheis arms. Jouhei catches it and instantly stabs his arm. "Now old man.." Jouhei picks up his comp.

"How about I beat your ass first!' Jouhei says Summoning Kuzunoha-Hime. "Founder of this organization and clan, I summon you, KUZUNOHA-HIME!" Jouhei says as a giant fox the size of city hall leaps into motion.

"Wh-?!? JOUHEI YOU ARE DEAD!!' Kyouji screams at the rooftop furiously. "Kuzunoha-Hime use feminine around on 17th!" Jouhei asks. "Another Kuzunoha, Jouhei return me to your comp at once!" The Kuzunoha yells as she's confined back. Suddenly the lightning disappears and Nagi Kuzunoha arrives. "Oh where am I now, did Geirin send me to another country or something?" Nagi asks, confused of her surroundings. "Halt, identify yourself!" Rei yells. "Huh, who are you?" Nagi asks confused. "Oh well you look like you're trouble" Rei says smirking.

"Oh well, ALRAUNE!" Nagi yells. "Hehe oh Nagi you always suprise me." Alraune says smirking. "Well well, SAINT MARY!!" Rei yells as the battle begins. "Oh my Catholic child, sleep for I will adourn yo sins." Mary says. "MARY, MEGIDOLAON!" Rei yells. A light starts eminating on the ground as a giant ball of light eminating into nagis face. "What the hell!" Nagi yells. The ball starts to grow and Nagi feels like the world is slowing down as the ball explodes. "AGHHHH!!" Nagi yells as her clothes get slightly ripped and her tube explodes. "Oh poor Alraune, I must abandon you" Alraune says as she invades the tube with Dionysus. Nagi gets up all covered in bruises and blood. Rei towers over her as the pregnant belly eminates an omen and her eyes filled with death. "You wanna try that again?" Rei says with a deathly hollow like smile. Nagi gets up and looks at Rei, "you are worthy of a true Summoner title, pr–pregn–ant woman" Nagi says as she collapses. Rei takes her body and takes her up to the neighborhood. Rei puts her in the bed and tucks her in and snow starts to fall.
