Chapter 1: Lower her down!
_
Glancing around to find a way out of the predicament, Rose was in hysterics as the lifeboat was lowered down. How would she get out of this now? The one person she could trust was locked down in the depths of a sinking ship, and it entirely her fault. What would she do now? She asked when she had one second to think straight. Then it all clicked. She could jump onto the side of the ship! No one would suspect a thing! It was a simple solution!
Just she was hopping off, Molly, her mother and a plether of other woman held her back. In the middle of getting berated from her mother, Rose realised that she could do nothing for her former lover and that she was doomed to a life of being pregnant, shoeless, and in the kitchen.
"Really Rose! Were you thinking that you could go be the ex fiance of Caldon Hockley and married to a gutter-rat! My Lord, you are so naive! You really can't live with me being happy, can you?!" Rose winced at the bitterness and rage in her mothers voice.
"I'm sorry, Mother, that you set me up for a life of misery and locked me up in a gilded cage! When we get home, I will run away so I can never see you again," Ruth was stunned by this sudden change in her daughter. She used to be able to groom her into the perfect wife, daughter, and mother. Now she was acting like an imbecile, who was just here to embarrass her own mother and fiancé.Well then. What do you expect me to do? Your father left us in a mountain of debts, and..." Before she could finish that sentence, Rose raised her hand and slapped her right on the cheek. There was definitely going to be a bruise later. That's when Rose's temper boiled, and she rambled on about how it wasn't his fault and that if she was just a good mother, he would still be here." Mother, if you were just a better mom, then you could possibly have a chance to still have a husband. If you didn't get in that stupid argument about my ex-fiancé, then daddy wouldn't have to run away to the park to clear his thoughts. HE WOULD STILL BE HERE!" Ruty winced because of the anger in her daughters, voice. "Rose Dewitt Bukater, if you think of bombarding me with your stupid talk of that dummy, you call a father, you will be disowned!" she yelled, and Molly felt as if this was about to get bad. If she stepped in, what would happen. Well, it was best to try, right?"Do it. I dare you. Oh, wait, since you don't have a backbone, you can't, even for the sake of your own blood and flesh, even try to do it, you can't. You're just not strong enough, are you! " Rose just scoffed and shook her head."Alright, little miss spoiled brat! You are hearby disow- " Ruth began but was cut off by Molly.
"Don't you dare Ruth! You can't do that to her. You gave birth to her! You aren't perfect but your her mother and should be happy no matter what she chooses, shouldn't you?" Molly roared and Rose was stunned. Everyone, except her beloved Jack, had stood up for her like that.
Rose was still whimpering for Jack and moaning softly as her crys for her lover intensified. Good God! Why was this happening. She was finally happy and within 3.57 seconds, it was all ruined. Why! Just someone give her an awnser before she goes mad! Molly must have noticed her distress and held her arms out in comfort for the girl. Poor Rose. She had abnored her life until she met her soulmate and now, even she had lost him too! Rose peeled her eyes off her mom and to Margret, jamp into her arms and sobbed her heart out. They had all realized that Rose and her Lover were doomed...
