Brooke felt started to take deep breaths. As she began to review what to expect based off classes and what she recently experienced witnessing Peyton give birth.

Early labor and active stages of labor. The first stage of labor is usually the longest

Early labor could last between 12 to 24 hours with first babies.

She reached for her cellphone and dialed the number of the person she needed.

After a ride to the hospital. Brooke found herself in a wheelchair.

Going through the Labor and Delivery wing of the hospital.

Karen found herself by Brooke's side as they entered the delivery room.

There was no need to wait around. Brooke was in active labor.

Brooke's face was flushed. Her hair everywhere. She grabbed onto to Karen. Who encouraged her and motivated her to breath and focus.

"Push Brooke. You can do this." Karen said.

"I can't. It's too painful." Brooke replied.

"The minute you meet these babies. Nothing will ever be the same. in the most perfect way possible."

"I'm right here. I'm not leaving you." Karen assured her.

Brooke barred down. Feeling her body be torn apart.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Brooke exclaimed.

Her body laying back in pure exhaustion.

Cries soon filled the room. Strong healthy cries.

Brooke locked eyes with her babies.

Her son and daughter were beautiful.

"Momma's here. I love the both of you so much." Brooke stated matter of fact.

Full cheeks. Red faces. Wide eyes.

They looked like their father. A mirror image.

Brooke's heart nearly burst at the sight.
