Author's Note: This is an Alternate Version of one of the stories I have created called, "Founding Titan: Past and Future". I have not given up on my previous work. I wanted to make an Alternate version, because I wanted to try it for fun. Think of it as a shortcut or an Alternate route.

Also, I wanted to post this on Birthday of the creator of Attack on Titan. Hajime Iseyama.

In the year, Eight Fifty-Four... Eren Yeager, who had channeled the world's hatred for Eldians toward Paradis Island by attacking Marley. On the day when Marley had attacked Shiganshina District, Eren was running in order to reach and make contact with Zeke Yeager. He ran as fast as he could toward Zeke as Reiner Braun attempted to grab him. Luckily for Eren, Jean Kierstein and Connie Springer attacked Reiner with Thunder Spears.

Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert were currently battling Pieck Finger in her Cart Titan form. Which had a massive tank on her Cart Titan's back. Theo Magath was controlling the tank.

"This way, Eren!" Zeke screamed as he was immobilized. He reached his hand

Eren did not say a word as he ran toward Zeke as fast as he could. He was a few dozen yards away from reaching an injured Zeke, but he then glanced to his right to see a young Gabi Braun holding a large Anti-Titan rifle and aimed it toward him.

When a single tear had fallen from Gabi's face after losing her friends... she pulled the triggered and fired a single bullet. The Anti-Titan gunfire severed Eren Yeager's head-completely erasing his neck from his shoulders.

Zeke gasped in horror as his eyes had grown big when he spotted Eren's severed head flying in the head.

Gabi Braun had been pushed back due to the force of firing an Anti-Titan rifle gun.

For six seconds, Eren Yeager's severed head had flown in midair toward Zeke for six seconds, until his head was caught by Zeke Yeager's right hand. And the moment when Zeke Yeager made contact with Eren's head, something mysterious had happened.

A long blue spinal-like creature had quickly emerged from Eren Yeager's body and had attached to Eren's severed head. The moment it had... Eren's eyes and mouth begun to glow a shining bright color. Within the next ten seconds, a lightning bolt had struck Eren's body. Causing Eren Yeager, himself, to vanish from thin air. Leaving nothing left of Eren.

Zeke Yeager gauged as he couldn't believe what happened. One second, he caught Eren's head. And the next, it was gone. And so was Eren's body and the spinal-like creature.

As the battle within Shiganshina District had pressed on, the Survey Corp. soldiers such Connie Springer and Jean Kierstein, Armin Arlert and Mikasa Ackerman who were battling Marleyean soldiers and Titan Shifters had somewhat witnessed Eren Yeager disappear from thin air. Eren's friends were all left speechless as they witnessed Eren disappear from out of nowhere. They were shocked and speechless from witnessing the event.

Armin and Mikasa were grappled onto the side of the Shiganshina wall with their vertical maneuvering gear. Dozens of meters high.

Mikasa couldn't believe her eyes as she had watched Eren disappear. Her eyes watered a bit in horror. "Eren!" Mikasa screamed.

"Hey, buddy! You okay?"

"Hey!"

A Nineteen-year-old Eren Yeager gasped and opened his green eyes to see three Garrison soldiers standing over him.

"Look, he's awake, now!" One of the Garrison soldiers said.

Eren slowly sat his back up from the cold hard ground, not knowing that he was inside of a city.

"Hey, buddy. Did you fall out of the sky or something?" One of the soldiers asked as Eren continued to lie on the ground.

"Eh?" Eren felt a bit confused as he looked up at the drunken Garrison soldiers. He looked up to see the blue sky is clear as day and the wall over him is completely intact. He looked down at himself and noticed that wore his casual clothing when Marley first attempted to invade Shiganshina. Including Eren's jacket was on his shoulders.

"Excuse me, but. Where... where am I? And... what year is this, again?" Eren asked, carefully as.

The three Garrison soldiers paused, then one of them had decided to laugh. "It looks like this guy is going through some type of amnesia!"

"I guess the poor fellow did hit his head, too hard."

"While you're in Shiganshina, of course! And the year is Eight Forty-Five." One of the Garrison soldiers kindly informed Eren of the date and place he was in, despite being drunk.

Eren lightly gasped. 'Shiganshian. Eight Forty-Five. If what this drunken guy says is true, then... that means...'

Flashback

Eren Yeager and Zeke Yeager were inside of the Paths along with Ymir Fritz. Eren grabbed Ymir when he learned that Zeke wanted her to take away all Eldian's ability to reproduce.

"It all ends, now! I'll go back in time and stop this madness! Lend me your strength! You're not a god-or a slave! You're a regular person! You don't need to listen to anyone! You have the right to choose!" Eren screamed as he held Ymir Fritz.

End Flashback

'It worked. I'm in the past.' Eren thought to himself then looked at the Shiganshina front gate. 'And the walls above my head hadn't been breached, yet. I still have time to fix everything.' Eren grunted and clung onto his right head.

"Hm?"

The drunken Garrison soldiers looked and saw Eren clinging onto his right head. "Hey, buddy. Do you need to see a doctor?"

"Hm?" Eren turned his head to one of the Garrison soldiers. 'That's right. If the Shiganshina Walls are still intact, then, that means dad is here.' Eren thought of his dad, Grisha Yeager. Eren then shook his head. "Uh, yes. I think I do need to see a doctor about this concussion."

"A concussion, eh?"

"What's going on, here?" A man asked as he suddenly walked toward Eren and the Garrison soldiers.

Eren lightly gasped when he recognized a blonde man dressed in a Garrison uniform. His name was... 'Hannes!' Eren then thought of the time when Hannes was defeated and devoured by Dina Yeager-who was a pure Titan in his time.

"Eh?" Hannes saw his Garrison coworkers, then noticed an adult Eren Yeager sitting on the ground. "Who's he?"

"Some guy who's got a concussion. We found him lying passed out on the ground a few minutes ago." One of the drunken soldiers had informed Hannes.

"Really..." Hannes then looked down to Eren. "You have a name?"

"My name? It's..." Eren hesitated for a second. "Kruger." He told Hannes.

"Kruger, eh?" Hannes said as he stared at Eren, making eye contact with him.

"This guy says he needs a doctor to check his concussion."

"Does he?" Hannes said as he continued staring at Eren.

Eren did not make sudden movements as Hannes stared at him for a minute.

"Eh, whatever. I'll take you to a doctor. Come with me." Hannes told Eren.

A Few Minutes Later

Eren Yeager followed Hannes as they roamed through Shiganshina District. Hannes was leading an adult Eren to Grisha Yeager's house for a checkup. THey were currently walking on a tough road.

"Tell me, Kruger. Where you from?" Hannes asked.

'I can't tell Hannes who I am-nor where I'm from.' Eren thought to himself as he followed Hannes to his old house. He then looked up at the sky and thought of the time he had lost his leg within Trost District. "I'm... from Trost."

"Trost? Then, what are you doing down here in Shiganshina?" Hannes asked as he slightly looked back to Eren.

"I'm here to visit family." Eren told Hannes.

"I see. That's nice. Tell me, Kruger. Have you ever heard of Doctor Yeager, before?" Hannes asked.

"I have, by reputation." Eren answered. "My mother was cured from sickness by him." Eren stated, then thought of his mother, Carla Yeager.

"Was she?"

"Yeah." Eren nodded as he walked. "My mom told me a story-that a long time ago... a plague had struck this city and Doctor Yeager did his best to treat and save every last person that was infected." Eren told Hannes.

"Oh, yeah. You're tight. That did happen. I owe Doctor Yeager my life for that. If it weren't for him, then, my wife probably wouldn't be here." Hannes stated as he thought of the plague that occurred in Shiganshina, thirteen years ago. "Well, there's no point in dwelling in the past, if everything's okay, now. And I believe Shiganshina will continue to go the way as it is for a long time."

As Hannes said his last sentence, Eren couldn't help but think of what is to come. Bertoldt Hoover transforming into the Colossus Titan and breaching Shiganshina District. And also, Eren's mom being devoured by Carla by a Titan called, Dina Yeager. "Yeah."

In another minute, Hannes had successfully escorted Eren to the house he used to live in-or technically live in this timeline.

"Well, here we are. This is Doctor Yeager's house." Hannes said.

"Thanks." Eren stared at his house. Remembering when his house had been destroyed by Bertoldt Hoover. And also, remembering the time when the Survey Corp. investigated his dad's basement.

"Is there anything else you need?"

Eren grasped his right head. "No. I think I'll be okay from this point on."

"Oh, okay." Hannes then taken a step back. "Well, if you need anything else, you can always ask me for help." Hannes then turned back, walking away and leaving the adult Eren standing in front of the house that adult Eren was raised in.

"Later." Eren said as he stared at his old home. He raised his left hand, waving goodbye at Hannes without looking back to him.

A minute after, as Hannes walked back to his Garrison quarters, alone, he started to think of the person he just escorted to Grisha Yeager's house. 'I don't know why, but... that guy looks kind of familiar.' Hannes thought as he continued walking back to his Garrison quarters.

Meanwhile, Adult Eren Yeager stood in front of his family front door and stared for a moment. He then took a deep breath before knocking on the door. As he waited for someone to respond, memories of what are to happen to Shiganshina flooded his mind.

"Hello? Can I help you?"

Adult Eren had gasped, when he heard a feminine voice. As he snapped back into reality, Adult Eren noticed a woman standing right in front of him. This woman was his mother, Carla Yeager. And she had just opened the door.

For a moment, Eren had made eye contact with tried his best to not hesitate to speak to his mother, Carla. "Hi. My name is... Kruger. And I'm here... to see Doctor Yeager for an appointment." Eren said as he clasped his right head.

"An appointment?" Carla questioned.

"Carla? Who's at the front door?" Grisha asked, while inside the home. He had been dressed in a suit and a hat. He had packed his briefcase with medicine.

"There's a person named Kruger standing in front of the door." Carla informed Grisha as she looked to her husband inside their home.

Grisha gasped when he heard the name, "Kruger". His glasses were shaded by a white color. "Kruger, you say?" Grisha looked at Carla.

"He says he has an appointment with you." Carla said.

"Please, send him in." Grisha asked, nicely.

Carla then looked back to Adult Eren-standing on the front porch and not realizing that he was her adult son. "My husband said you can come in." As she looked at him, she noticed that Eren looked down at the floor and a small blush on his face. "Are you feeling alright?"

Eren lightly gasped, then slowly looked up to Carla. "Sorry. I was just-fazing out, again. I guess it's because of this concussion." Eren said as he palmed his right head.

Carla opened the door wider so Eren can walk in.

Adult Eren slowly walked inside of his old home and inhaled some air. He remembered how the air tasted and the atmosphere felt when he was a kid. He looked around in his home a bit and remembered some things. The family table, the kitchen chimney, dead geese hanging by the window.

"Welcome, Mister Kruger."

Adult Eren paused for a second when his fake name had been called. He then looked to a corner and saw his father, Grisha Yeager looking at him. Grisha also stood by a floor door which led to his basement.

"Follow me, Mister Kruger." Grisha kindly asked.

A Few Minutes Later

Eren and Grisha now stood face-to-face within the cellar.

"Is that really you, Eren?" Grisha asked, letting out his true emotions.

"Yeah, it's me, dad." Eren replied.

"I... I don't believe it. You've grown up, Eren." Grisha palmed his left forehead. "This wasn't what I predicted... but somehow, you're here!"

"I guess you can say that time's changed." Eren shrugged.

"How old are you, anyway?" Grisha asked.

"Nineteen."

"Then, that must mean..."

"I have four years, left." Eren raised four fingers up from his right hand.

"I see. And if you traveled all this way from the past, then, you finally made it to the basement, I assume?" Grisha asked.

"Yeah. It took a little over five years to get here after Wall Maria fell." Eren said.

"I see, now. Wait... where's Zeke?" Grisha questioned.

"Zeke? The one from my timeline?" Eren suddenly remembered his older half-brother, Zeke.

Grisha had nodded.

Eren scratched his right ear with his right index finger. "The truth is... I don't know where he is or what happened to him. He could be here in this timeline... or he could still be in my old timeline. But, I assume that the Zeke in this timeline is still in Marley."

Grisha sighed in relief. "Zeke is safe, then."

"Yeah. But, but I also bad news about him."

"What's wrong?" Grisha asked.

"Zeke inherited the Beast Titan from his mentor, Tom Ksaver." Eren said, which shocked Grisha.

"No. Not Zeke." Grisha felt bad for his eldest son, Zeke. He placed his hands on top of his head and begun to panic a little.

"When I first met Zeke, five years from now... the Survey Corp. had already reclaimed Shiganshina. He tried to convince me that you had brainwashed me and that he said that he and I were both "victims" of you. It was as if he held some type of grudge against you, dad." Eren said as he remembered seeing Zeke for the first time.

"I understand." Grisha then sat at his desk and thought about the times when he acted as a bad and controlling father towards Zeke in Marley. And then he remembered when Zeke had arrested Grisha and his first wife, Dina. "I was a terrible father towards Zeke. I bred him for his royal blood and used him to gain information on Marley for my own satisfaction. I never listened to Zeke as a boy, until it was too late. Because of my foolishness and naivety as a father, many of my Eldian Restorationist comrades, including my first wife, Dina, were sent to Paradis as Pure Titans."

"Speaking of Dina, she's the one who ate mom." Eren said.

"What?" Grisha looked at Eren with shock, as he raised his head.

"When the Warrior Unit-such as Bertoldt and Reiner had breached Shiganshina in my timeline, or is about to breach Shiganshina, soon... Dina, your first wife found our house. Mom was trapped in fallen debris and Dina found her. She crushed and devoured mom right in front of me." Eren then remembered the moment when Dina had devoured Carla.

Grisha's eyes filled with shock. "Oh god..." Grisha then remembered Dina turning into a Pure Titan against her will. "Dina..." Grisha quickly covered his mouth with his right hand as he tried not to vomit.

"Five years afterward, I met Dina again when I was being kidnapped by the same people who breached Wall Maria. I soon came into contact with her, while unknowingly awakened the Power of the Founding Titan. I unintentionally made all the Titans to tear her to shreds for killing mom and Hannes." Eren told Grisha as he remembered himself using the Founder for the first time. "It's thanks to Dina for having royal blood that me, Mikasa and Armin are still alive, today. And also... if Zeke hadn't caught my head when he did, then I would've never made it, here." Eren said as he placed a hand on his neck.

'Royal blood... royal blood...' Grisha thought. "Tell me, Eren. What are your intentions?" Grisha questioned Eren's motives.

"My intentions?"

"Yes. Since you've traveled all this way, you've got to have some kind of plan." Grisha said.

Eren glanced down for a moment. "You're right. I do have a plan." He had taken a moment and thought of his plan. "Tonight, I'm going to visit the Reiss Family, and-"

"The Reiss Family?" Grisha quoted.

Eren nodded. "Yeah. Right now, the current Founder is a young woman named Frieda Reiss. Historia's older sister. She's roughly around Zeke's age in this timeline. I'm going to find her, and-"

Grisha's ears went mute for a moment, and his eyes widened a bit in horror, assuming that Eren would use Frieda's Founding Titan for his own personal gain. Grisha then jumped from his desk and grabbed Adult Eren's shoulders. "Don't tell me. Eren... are you planning... are you planning on using the King's Founder to activate the Rumbling?"

Eren remained silent and closed his eyes.

"Eren! Look at me when I'm talking to you! Are you going to activate the Rumbling, yes or no?" Grisha yelled.

"The truth is... I plan to try and talk to her, before taking action. If I can't find a way to reason with her, then I will have to resort in..." Eren told Grisha.

"Then, please. Don't do it." Grisha begged.

"You don't get it, dad. I have to protect Paradis, somehow." Eren replied.

Grisha sighed and made eye contact with his adult son. "Listen, Eren. As someone who grew up in Marley... I understand better than anyone in the walls that most of the outside world hate and fear us. And I also understand your resolve in wanting to protect Paradis. But committing mass genocide isn't the answer. There are billions of innocent people throughout the world that has nothing to do with us. And if you somehow do activate the rumbling, not just only will the entire world... but everyone within Paradis Island will also see you as a devil, as well.

Eren remained silent.

"Now as your father, who has at least a year left to live... I want you to promise me that you won't activate the rumbling-even after I leave this earth. Man-to-Man.." Grisha demanded.

"Dad..."

"Promise me, Eren!" Grisha yelled.

Eren had thought long and hard, if he should listen to his dad. Ten seconds later, he sighed. "Fine. I'll try to find another way to save Paradis."

"Thank you, Eren. Now, I know that I can trust you." Grisha then hugged Eren.

As Eren was being hugged by Grisha, he glanced at the desk drawer where his novels about Marley were kept hidden. He remembered seeing discovering the books along with Captain Levi, Mikasa and Hange in the year, Eight Fifty.

Later That Night...

The sky was dusk and the stars had shine. Eren Yeager stood outside of a small church which is known as the Reiss Chapel. Eren had traveled all the way from Shiganshina to the Reiss Family Estate-which is east of Orvurd District. A district inside of Wall Sheena. Eren had rode a in big black fancy carriage with two brown-skinned adult horses latched onto a carriage.

Eren looked around and saw no guards or watch dogs around. He knew that he was safe and in the clear. Eren slowly walked to the front doors of the Reiss Chapel and reached for the handles.
