This is a story about a boy from Vermilion City named Lonzo. Lonzo is the son of Pokémon World Champion Ash Ketchum and his wife Serena. He was in his bedroom.

Hw was inside his bedroom with a bed, dresser, and a chair placed in the room. The bed is situated against a wall with a window, allowing for plenty of natural light to fill the space.

On the bed, there is a cushion, and multiple pillows are also visible. A couple of his Pokémon books can be found on the bed, adding a touch of coziness to the room. Additionally, an alarm clock is positioned near the bed, and a red backpack is placed close by, there was a desk with a gaming PC and MacBook Pro. Above the bed were a few of his hats, and on the floor next to his door was his skateboard and basketball.

Vermillion City has a park with a basketball court nearby his apartment complex, so he can go and play whenever he wants. His parents are always on trips, so he's home alone a lot.

Lonzo also participates in the Vermillion City Basketball Team. And he also loves Pokémon as much as his father does. He would like to catch a Pokémon one day. He looked at his Rotom Phone and saw the time.

"I gotta go meet up with the guys!" he said, walking to the door and grabbing his skateboard and basketball. He was ready to go a few minutes ago. He wore a pair of blue shorts, a black Gengar tank top, he grabbed his headphones and his backpack. He walked out of the room.

He walked through a bright and spacious living room with white walls, a wooden floor, and a large window that provides ample natural light and it has a beautiful view of Vermillion City. The room is furnished with a comfortable sectional sofa positioned along the left side of the space, and a dining table placed towards the right side

The room also features multiple chairs scattered around the space, with one chair located near the sofa, another one near the dining table, and a third chair positioned on the opposite end of the room. There are two vases placed on the table, adding a touch of elegance to the setting.

In Addition to the furniture, there is a kitchen area on the left side, showcasing a white countertop with a vein design, refrigerator and a sink inside the countertop. A cupboard is also visible on the right side of the room,containing various items.

Lonzo walked to the door where his Poké Ball Jordan's were, he put them on and tied his shoes. Grabbing his basketball, he walked out the door. Picking up his basketball and skateboard. He grabbed his keys and he locked the door.

The boy walked to the elevator, A young woman was seen, maybe in her mid twenties with her Pokémon, Eevee. The woman smiled at him. "Hello, Lonzo. Where are you off too?"

"I'm going to the park with my friends. You remember Jayden, Leo and Ezra. do you?" he asked.

"Oh, yeah I do." she said, almost dropping a plastic bag full of Pokémon food. He saw that she was struggling. Lonzo walked toward her and helped her. "Gracias, Lonzo." she said.

"No problem, Maria," he said.

Maria is his neighbor, she moved from Paldea a month ago and she's still adjusting to her new life in Vermilion City. Lonzo has been a lot of help to her and Pokémon sitting her Eevee while she attended University.

Lonzo and Maria both set the last of the groceries down.

"Gracias again, Lonzo, tell your mamá y papáI said hi." Lonzo grinned.

"No problem, Maria. And I will!"and with that, Lonzo left for the elevator. He pressed the Lobby and waited for it to go down. Lonzo took out his Rotom Phone and connected his headphones and put on a song.

With his Pikachu skateboard under his arm, Lonzo walked out of the elevator and into the lobby.

A large, brightly lit apartment complex lobby features a reception desk with two modern chairs placed in front of it. The room is decorated with a beautiful floral arrangement on a stand next to the reception desk, adding a touch of elegance to the space. The floor is made of marble, creating a sleek and sophisticated appearance.

The lobby also includes several potted plants, which contribute to the overall ambiance of the room. A couple of traffic lights can be seen in the background. "Hi, Lonzo!" The man at the desk said, Lonzo turned his head towards the man, the man was tan skinned, he had short brown hair, green eyes and he had a small beard. his Shinx was on the floor beside his desk, Lonzo walked up to the receptionist.

"Hi, Muhammad, how are you?" he said.

"I'm okay." the man said, smiling. "So." he said. "What are you doing, Lonzo? Do you have any plans for today?"

Lonzo smiled. "Yeah! I'm playing basketball with my friends."

Muhammad smiles. He wanted to ask him something, so he went for it. "Do you have any plans on what your starter Pokémon might be? you can probably go to your father's hometown and get your starter from Professor Oak."

Lonzo Thought about that for a second, he already knows what he will do. He wants to catch a Riolu, which has been on his list for awhile now, and he's going to do it.

"I'm Going to catch a Pokémon."

The man smiled. "Ah, and what Pokémon might that be?"

"A Riolu!" he told the man.

"Well, I hope it goes well, oh, and Lonzo. There are some packages for your parents. I Have them. so when you come back, you can grab them."

Lonzo nodded and he left the building through the automac doors. He was in the heart of Vermillion City. Buildings towered over him, as he set his skateboard down and he rode it down the hill, toward the park.

Jayden, Leo and Ezra were already at the court. Jayden was shooting baskets while Leoand Ezra were talking.

"I think cheese is better than cake, because you can have cheesecake, but you can't have cakecheese!"

Leo Looked at his best friend with a dumbfounded expression on his face.

"Dude, what the frick?!"

"Oh, come on, dude you don't watch Gumball?"

Leo's brain clicked. "Ohhhh! Okay, now I know what you're saying. but why?"

Ezra Looked at him and shook his head. "I dunno. I wanted to say it."

"You're so weird…. Hey! any word from Kechum yet?"

Jayden stopped shooting and he saw his friends talking. "What's up?"

"Have You seen Lonzo yet? we don't know where he is." Ezra said. Jayden shook his head and dug into his pocket and pulled out his Rotom Phone.

"You Have a call from Jayden, you have a call from Jayden." his Rotom phone blared from his pocket. Lonzo picked it up and answered it.

"Hey, Jayden. I'm coming in a few minutes." he said, pushing his foot to skate faster to get to the park. "Oh, cool. I called you to tell you that, but…Alright,dude."

Lonzo Made it to the basketball courts. There were courts to play basketball on as well as Pokémon battlefields on the other side of the park.

"Let's do this guys!" he said, setting down his backpack, he took the headphones around his neck and put them over his head. He grabbed his basketball and started shooting with his friends.

"You Have a call from dad. You have a call from dad." Lonzo's Rotom Phone called out. he was skating home. Lonzo put it on speaker. Ezra was walking home with him.

"Hey, Lonzo,"Ash said.

"Hey. When's the league happening again? Is it today?"

"Tomorrow. Why?"

"Nothing, why'd you call?"

"Oh, your mom's coming back from Hoenn tonight. She couldn't call."

"Oh, cool. Busy with stuff I bet." Lonzo said, Ash nodded.

"I'll Call you later, Leon is getting us lost again."

"Okay, bye Dad."

"Love you."

"Love You too, Dad."he said as he hung up. Lonzo put his phone back in his pocket and continued skating, Ezra continued walking. Then they heard a noise and a person.

"Doyou hear that?!" Lonzo asked, Ezra nodded and they went off to the noise in the forest.

Lonzo and Ezra followed the sound and saw two trainers abusing a Pokémon! Lonzo's Blood boiled as he saw this, Ezra saw what he was about to do. He saw that his friend was getting red in the face.

"What Are you going to do?" Ezra asked. Lonzo left his skateboard there and walked up to the two trainers. The trainers were one boy and one girl. Lonzo saw that thePokémon was a Riolu! That made him more angry because why would you do that to your Pokémon?!

"HEY!" he screamed, the two people turned around and glared at him.

"Get Lost, twerp!" the girl said.

"What Did you say?! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" he said, he grit his teeth, the guy clenches his fist, he wanted to hit this guy in the jaw. He grabbed the guy by the shirt and pushed him to the grass.

"Listen to me." Lonzo said through gritted teeth. "If you ever do that to a Pokémon again, I will hunt you down and take care of you guys personally! that wasn't a threat!" He then took two zip ties that he had in his pocket that he didn't know he had. and used them to zip tie their hands together.

"Ezra," he said. He looked at his friend, Lonzo propped them both up on a tree. Ezranodded.

"Call Officer Jenny, I'l take Riolu to the Pokémon Center." He took the Emation Pokémon with him in his arms.

"Arceus…" He muttered as he skated to the Pokémon Center. Riolu, crateled in his arms,was skating faster.

He needed to get there.

The Pokémon Center wasn't that busy, just a trainer talking to someone on thePokémon Center's phone, Then Lonzo skated inside as the automatic doors opened.

"Nurse Joy! I found a Riolu in the woods being abused by his trainers! and he's badly hurt!" Lonzo said, still holding onto the Pokémon, his hands were trying not to shake as he set him down on the counter.

Nurse Joy took the Injured Pokémon to the back to get him checked out.

Lonzo Waited for Nurse Joy to finish. Then his Rotom Phone rang. He picked it up.

"Ezra? are they dealt with?!"

"Yeah, thank Arceus. I'm coming to you now. I'll see you in a few minutes."

"Sounds good." he said, he hung up and sighed, Lonzo sat down and put his head in his hands.

Not Even a few minutes later, Ezra rushed into the Pokémon Center. Lonzo stood there and they looked at each other.

Ezra Broke the silence a few minutes later. "Their arrested." he said with a sighed also, now they were waiting on the condition of Riolu. He thought of those ''trainers'' and how disgusting they were to their Pokémon, he wasn't even sure if Riolu was even there's!

"I'm So ashamed, dude." Ezra said sighing. Lonzo nodded in agreement. "I mean… The Fact that we still have people like this still breaks my heart." He paused and turned to his friend.

Lonzo Sighed. "Remember I told you how my father has a Charizard?"

Ezra nods.

Lonzo Looked at his hands. "I don't think I told you this story but…. Dad's Charizardwas Was abandoned by his trainer out in the rain. He took him in and he found his trainer in the Pokémon Center when he took him there. I get so angry just thinking about it."

"Dude…."Ezra said. "That's messed up!"

"I Know! I hated that guy…Damian…He was such a jerk!"

"Gross,"he said.

Just then, the chime went off a stretcher being bushed by a Cancey was seen, Lonzo saw Riolu looking better. Lonzo walked to him and looked at its eyes.

"Hey.." he said softly to him. Riolu looked up, he knew that it was the boy that rushed him here to get treated by Nurse Joy.

"Would you like to come with me?" he asked in his soft, sweet voice. Lonzo held his hand out to the Pokémon. Riolu wasn't sure that he'll be safe with this boy, or he'll be hurt again, the same way he got hurt by his trainer and his friend.

Lonzo saw the hurt in the Pokémon's eyes and took one of his paws.

"I'm Not going to hurt you, okay? do you want to come with me?" Riolu saw the kindness in the boy's face and heart. Lonzo waited for him to respond, then, Riolu stood up, smiled and nodded.

"Congratulations, Lonzo! your a father!" Ezra jokes. Lonzo lightly punched his friend in the arm.

The boy took out his Poké ball to catch him, but the Emation Pokémon backed up, scared to go back into one of those.

Lonzo Realized.

"Your Scared to go inside?" he asked. Riolu nodded. He didn't want to go back inside of a Poké Ball. Ever again.

Lonzo Smiled and picked him up. "You wanna come back with me? to my apartment?"

Riolu Nodded. Not making a sound since they've met. Ezra smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. "Looks like you've caught yourself a friend, Ketchum. Good for you, dude."

Lonzo smiles and nods and they went back to his apartment complex.
