Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Pokémon. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Pokémon, Nintendo, and a few others.
If there was anything she hated more than setbacks? It had been how little people respected her authority. She had time, effort, money… All of which were to be seen as horrid and thrown out to be rubbish. It was simply stupid.
Lusamine leaned back in her chair and seemed to sigh, crossing her legs under her as she went. This was simply beyond stupid. It crossed lines into stupidity that should not be possible. She was still in charge, yet she was alone atop her rock in the middle of the ocean, a far more annoying task than one wished to command.
As part of the Aether Foundation? She was not expected to be part of this plan. It had become far more taxing on her at the time and something she wished to dispose of. This was far more insane than she had hoped for. There was so much research she could do. Sure, she wanted what was best for her people and her workforce had done work that was some of the best in the entire world. She had a lot more on her mind when it came down to it.
Like the fact that this was becoming so hard to move forward that she almost pondered what to do next.
There were many projects and sources of funding that had crossed her desk, yet she had been unable to properly focus. None of her backers considered the fact Pokémon research was not something she could magically pull from the air. If anything? She wondered how it was so hard to consider that it took time and effort to properly place resources into her affairs. It was not as if she could pull them from the air and manage it herself. She would wish them the best, yet it was far more annoying at the second. The sooner she was able to properly bring it to pass. The sooner her buyers were satisfied at the second.
She laid a hand next to her side where a few Pokémon lay. Part of her studying project. It astounded her it had been a lot more fun to see how Pokémon were able to adapt to certain environments and then design products to properly help when it came down to it. She had been a lot happier to see that in action when they hit the market and it properly helped Pokémon.
Yet? She had more issues to address as of now. This had to end at the time sooner or late. There was nothing more blocking her path besides time and effort. She simply needed more time before the next arc to properly put her plan into action. Time, she didn't seem to have at the time, nor did she expect at the second.
There was a lot more to do at the second. There was so much on the line that they could lose. A lot more worth fighting for at the second. It honestly surprised them what was to come when they turned their attention to her.
"Hmm. We need to try and make a difference in this world. The times spent doing nothing is too annoying for my good." Lusamine said while she ran a hand across her temples, curious about where she could go next with her company and its process. "The fact of the matter is simple. We aren't managing to do anything at the time that matters, not even if it means pleasing them." Lusamine said as she sighed and started to question what her options were.
She could either try and find more out about what was to come, probably placing her min more danger than was possible. She could ask for a loan that went against her vision and what she wanted, she could attempt to question and get better research. She could finally just decide to say screw it and attack once more, wasn't exactly the worst thing on her mind, but it went against her philosophy and her dream at the moment.
Still? She was running low on options and more on plans at the time. there was only so much she could say and do at the time to change that.
